After spending a good amount of time going over the promo Stephanie got up to change before she went to have her hair and make up done and then went and knocked on the trainer's door to get her knee wrapped. As the door was opened for her she stepped inside surprised when she saw Paul laying on one of the tables, "what's wrong with you now?"

Lifting his head Paul turned it to look over his shoulder at Stephanie, "can't a husband get some sympathy here? I've just got some pain in my back from something so I'm just having it quickly looked at before the show. What are you doing here? Looking for some fake sympathy?"

Stephanie glared at him and threw the nearest towel at his head, "shut up. I'm hoping to have my knee wrapped because somebody knocked me off the apron and hurt my knee."

Rolling his eyes he put his head back down on the table muttering, "wasn't my fault."

The trainer shook his head at the two of them, "you two sure do argue like an old married couple. Do I dare put you on a table next to each other?"

She smiled at him, "I think I can refrain from hitting him if that is what you are referring to."

Motioning to the empty table the trainer shook his head, "then be my guest and take a seat and we'll get that knee of yours strapped."

Carefully jumping up onto the table she sighed as she sat on the edge kicking her good leg back and forth, "I hate having to do this but I don't like the nagging I'm getting from people."

Putting the tape on the table beside her the trainer shrugged, "from what I have been hearing it's not just your knee that needs strapping."

Groaning Paul shook his head, "does anybody not know what is going on in our personal life? We do have feelings, it's not all that fun for us to be dealing with this and it's even less fun with everyone talking about it."

The trainer gulped quickly grabbing the tape, "I'm sorry, I was just making conversation and wasn't trying to pry or get details from anyone. I only know because two of the men were in here earlier talking between themselves about it."

Stephanie rolled her eyes, "of course they were because they clearly have nothing better to do with their time. If anybody even thinks about talking about us again try telling them you have a personal line to their boss and you will get them fired if they don't shut their mouths and keep their noses out of our business."

Paul laughed at her, "remind me to never get on your bad side."

The trainer nodded his head, "I'm with him, you're kind of ruthless when you're pissed."

She pouted, "so you're saying I'm a bitch when I'm pissed?"

The trainer put his hands up in defence, "I am pleading the fifth."

Paul turned his head and smiled at her, "don't worry, I won't plead the fifth on this. You're definitely a bitch when you're pissed."

Stephanie looked at him shocked, "you did not just say that."

The trainer stepped between them before things got out of hand, "I'm thinking I need to wrap this knee before you wrap your hand around his throat."

Paul laughed, "but I'm too cute for her to kill, she wouldn't want to go to jail for killing her husband."

Stephanie turned her head to look at him, "do you want to make a bet on it?"

The trainer started to wrap Stephanie's knee wanting to keep out of their conversation at the risk of losing his job or his head or both. Finishing off her knee he tossed the tape onto the table, "that is you done. If you have any problems you know where we are but until then try not to commit mass murder."

Unable to stop herself she laughed at that comment, "thank you. I needed that."

The trainer nodded his head, "my pleasure."

Walking out of the trainer's room she made her way to her locker room to get some quiet time before the show so she didn't hurt anybody.

As soon as Stephanie had left the room Paul turned to look at the trainer being careful of his back, "I am sorry about her, she's just a lot stressed right now and isn't handling things as she normally would."

The trainer shrugged his shoulders, "it's none of my business what's going on, I have dealt with more cranky people and I have even been hit so you know some snarky responses are not the worst things I have ever dealt with."

Sitting up he stretched his back a little, "I know but even so I wanted to apologise on her behalf because you shouldn't have to deal with that."

"Well I guess thank you then. So how's your back?"

Rubbing his back Paul nodded his head, "it's doing better thanks. I'm going to go and check on Stephanie just to make sure she hasn't killed anybody between here and her locker room because I don't trust her today."

Laughing the trainer nodded his head, "don't worry, if she has killed anybody I'm sure we can plead insanity for her and get her off."

Pulling open the door Paul laughed, "that is always good to know."

Walking out of the room he made his way back to Stephanie's locker room pushing the door open without knocking, "so am I going to get killed tonight?"

Sighing Stephanie continued staring at the ceiling, "maybe if you're lucky enough."

Sitting on the arm of the couch he frowned, "what did I do?"

"Nothing. I'm tired and stressed and just plain fucking pissed at everyone so am just taking it out on everybody else."

Moving closer to her he placed his hand on her knee and squeezed gently, "well tomorrow we get to go back to the holiday home so we can relax all week."

Turning her head she frowned, "I wish I could but I can't because I have to be in the office all week."

It was Paul's turn to frown when she said that because he had been looking forward to that all day, "oh I see, I guess I will see you at the weekend then as I may aswell go and see my family for the week."

Stephanie was kind of hoping that he would say that he would come by during the week or something but he didn't which just made her sad, "I guess so. I hope you have fun with them."

Leaning closer to her he pressed a kiss to the top of her head, "I will try to. I have to get going now though to finish getting ready a second so I'll see you out there."

Walking out of the room he was depressed that it would be nearly an entire week before he saw her again but he had to focus his attention on his job now.
