Chapter 28 : Hart Prodigy
Next Morning - Autumn ' s Apartment
The next morning Autumn groaned as she woke up with her shoulder hurting worse than the night before .
" You okay ? " Bobby asked sleepily .
" My shoulder hurts worse , but other than that I ' m good . " Autumn looked at Bobby in the bed next to her , he still had his eyes closed even though he was awake .
" You want me to grab an ice pack for you ? " Bobby asked looking at her this time .
" Yeah , if you don ' t mind . " Autumn said just as a knock came at the door .
" Wonder who that could be ? " Bobby asked getting up grabbing his jeans before heading towards the door .
" No clue , because I was not expecting company this morning . " Autumn said sitting up slowly in the bed trying not to further injure her shoulder .
" Uh , no one is out here . " Roode said as Autumn walked to the door looking out .
" Then who knocked ? " Autumn asked Bobby before noticing the package laying near her door .
" No clue , unless it could be some one pulling a prank . " Bobby said not seeing the package .
" I don ' t think so . " Autumn moving passed Bobby and picking up the manila envelope .
" Okay , now I am even more curious as to who was here ? " Bobby said as they heard a motorcycle start up . Both looked over the balcony to see someone speeding off on a bike with purple looking hair .
" Who ? " Bobby asked .
" Jeff Hardy . " Autumn said making Bobby look at her confused .
" What would he be doing here ? " Bobby asked .
" Other than dropping off a package to me , I have no clue . " Autumn said turning the package towards Roode so he could see her name wrote on the front of the envelope .
" Be careful with that , Autumn . " Bobby said concerned .
" No problem , lets open it inside in case of some one watching us . " Autumn said going back in her apartment with Bobby following her .
Both of them sat at the table Autumn ' s shoulder taped back up and an ice pack on it to reduce swelling and pain . They both were looking at the package not sure if opening it was a good idea , but finally the suspense was getting to Autumn .
" That ' s it , I can ' t wait any longer . " Autumn grabbed the package and opened it the best she could .
" Easy Autumn , " Roode said .
Autumn pulled the contents out of the package and began looking through them until she read in disbelief what the strange message was about , it felt like a sucker punch to her stomach .
" Autumn ? " Roode asked and she slid the package over to Bobby .
The Canadian began looking through the contents of the package , he gasped at what he read .
" The man who had you isn ' t your real dad . " Bobby said before finishing .
" According to what it says my mom remarried after my real dad died , but keep on reading and see who my dad really is . " Autumn said .
Bobby read on until he saw what she was referring to which caused him to gasp in even more disbelief .
" Your dad is Owen Hart , " Bobby looked at her shocked .
" I had no idea and I am still not sure if its true . " Autumn said .
" According to this and the medical tests done , it is true . " Bobby said .
" Oh my God , my dad is Owen Hart . " Autumn fainted .
" Autumn , " Bobby picked her up and carried her to the bed .
She was out for a little while before coming too .
" Bobby , we have to tell the others what we found and who delivered it . " Autumn said shaking .
" I will call a meeting . " Bobby said .
" Roode , call Petey and Scott too , they need to know what we found as well . " Autumn looked at him .
" Right , " Roode said and called everyone for a very important meeting that would be the shocking news to everyone .
Tampa , Florida
The next day , everyone was in the private room of the gym in Tampa , Florida where most of the talent against Immortal likes to come and practice since Immortal had the run of everywhere else in Orlando .
" Okay , Bobby , what is with you guys pulling me away from my students ? " Coach Scott D ' Amore asked . He and Petey had arrived in Tampa as well confused as to why Bobby and Autumn called them for a meeting .
" Its important I assure you . " Bobby said .
" Then what ' s the big shocking news you guys want to tell us ? " Harris asked .
" Are the two of you getting married ? " Storm asked hopeful .
" No , its much more shocking than that . " Bobby said .
" Darn , " James said .
" I got a package yesterday early in the morning from someone who oddly looked like Jeff Hardy . " Autumn said making everyone especially Sting and Harris look at her .
" But , Jeff hasn ' t been seen since Victory Road . " Harris said .
" I know , but that was definitely a guy with purple hair leaving on a motorcycle that I saw after seeing the package next to my door and what was inside of it was even more shocking . " Autumn said .
" What was inside ? " AJ asked .
" A bunch of medical and DNA tests , telling me that the man that I thought was my father isn ' t my real dad . Apparently my mom was married to someone else before she met him and that person is my dad . " Autumn said tears starting up .
" Whose your real daddy ? " Chyna asked she and Kurt Angle had been invited to the meeting as well . Chyna was still not impressed by Autumn ' s skills even though she handled herself well after getting injured , but now crying like a baby made the young Knockout seem even lower to Chyna .
" We all know him even if it is just by name and everyone in the wrestling world should know his family . " Autumn said .
" Who ? " Everyone finally asked .
" Owen Hart . " Autumn said making everyone ' s jaws drop except for Bobby .
" So , its not just a coincidence that you look like him . " Traci said .
" No , its not . " Autumn said .
" You may be apart of the Hart Dynasty , but you are not a Hart Prodigy . " Chyna glared at her .
" What is that suppose to mean ? " Autumn asked looking at Chyna shocked .
" It means you don ' t have what it takes to be apart of the Hart family , you don ' t have what it takes to be a Knockouts Champion , and at your current state you have no chance in beating Gail Kim . " Chyna said making everyone look at Chyna in disbelief .
" Hang on , I trained her and she does have what it takes to beat Gail and become the Knockouts Champion . " Petey look at Chyna .
" I ' m not saying she doesn ' t have skill or heart , but at the same time she is a whinny brat with no concept of how this business works . " Chyna said .
" A brat is spoiled and given everything in life . " Autumn said .
" Exactly , " Chyna said .
" I have not been given everything in life and I ' m not spoiled . You have no clue what I ' ve been through and what I had to go through to get to where I ' m at right now . I was beaten by people that were suppose to take care of me . I was laughed at and mocked for being a wrestling fan and because I had a dream to be a wrestler . Hell , the whole town I lived in was so against wrestling , that they want Fortune to leave a lot quicker than they came . And now I am finding out for the first time in my life that I had something else out there waiting for me , that I didn ' t have to suffer through all of the pain and misery at the hands of bad people . Maybe you should get try and get to know a person before you start judging someone and deciding what a person can and can ' t do . I will beat Gail Kim next Thursday bad shoulder or not and become the Knockouts Champion . " Autumn growled at Chyna .
" I ' ve heard that before . " Chyna said standing up and leaving .
" What is with her ? " Autumn asked .
" It takes awhile for her to except people . " Angle said .
" So , you are Owen Hart ' s daughter . " Sting said .
" Could explain why wrestling is such a big part of you and why the training came a lot quicker to you next to some one who doesn ' t have blood in the business . " Petey looked at Autumn .
" Yeah , but I wonder how many other people knew this before now . I mean Jeff Hardy saw the paperwork so he knows , but what about the rest of the Hart family . Wouldn ' t they have known about Owen having a daughter ? " Autumn asked .
" Autumn , I know Bret well enough and if he had suspected that you were being hurt or even out there , he would have taken you away from that place and those people who mistreated you . " Sting said .
" The question now is how to tell them what we found out ? " D ' Amore said .
" Bret , maybe the biggest one to tell first and the easiest to contact . " Sting said .
" I can make the call if you want me too ? " D ' Amore asked .
" You are in contact with the Hitman ? " Storm asked in shock .
" Yeah , Jarrett introduced him to me years ago . " D ' Amore said .
" Autumn are you okay with this ? " Bobby asked .
" Yes , I need to tell him before its to late . " Autumn said .
" Then we will step out and call him , " Sting looked at Coach .
" Of course , " Coach D ' Amore following Sting .
" I need to go find Chyna , I will see you guys later . Autumn good luck in your title match Thursday . " Angle said .
" Thanks Kurt , " Autumn smiled a little as the Olympic Gold Medalist left the room .
" You are a Hart Prodigy , good lord who knew when we met you that day that you would turn out to be Owen ' s daughter . " Daniels said .
" That would make her a Canadian , " Kazarian looked at Bobby .
" Team Canada , " Autumn cheered .
" Baby , have I ever told you how much I love you . " Bobby pulled her in for a big kiss .
Storm and Petey both started making noises like they were gagging and barfing .
" Now that I can see it , Traci does have a point about you looking a lot like Owen , Autumn ? " Harris said .
The guys looked at Chris and then at Autumn studying her facial features .
" Yep , I see it . " The guys agreed with Harris making Autumn smile .
" Although that smile kind of reminds more of Bret than Owen , but still . " James said .
" I could see that too . " Traci said .
Sting and Coach D ' Amore walked in at that moment .
" We are lucky that Bret just so happens to be in Tampa visiting Natalia . " Sting said .
" He said he would meet us for dinner and allow Autumn to speak to him . " Coach added .
" I can do that . " Autumn taking a deep breath at talking to the Hitman .
" Did you mention anything to him except that Autumn wants to talk with him ? " Bobby asked .
" No , I figured it was best that Autumn tells him and I think it is also best if you were there as well Bobby . " Sting said .
" Sure thing , " Roode agreed .
" That mean we have part of the Hart Dynasty in TNA . " Storm just realized .
" Oh yeah , " Harris said as the others cheered .
" Ah shucks guys . " Autumn blushed .
