A/N: this takes place starting at the bridge in 1999 when Robin and Jason said goodbye to each other but this time it will be different
CHAPTER THREE
Robin asks, "Is there something wrong?" God she hoped not.
"No Robin. You are just pregnant with twins." Dr. Meadows said, smiling at Robin. "Here is Baby A and here is Baby B." She shows everyone them.
"Twins? Oh my God. Are they alright? How far along am I?" Robin asked as Mac, Felicia and Alan smiled.
"You are ten weeks pregnant. I will print you some pictures of the babies." Dr. Meadows said.
"Thank you Dr. Meadows." Robin said and she turned and looked at Mac, Felicia and Alan. She turned back to Dr. Meadows and asked her. "Dr. Meadows can I have pictures for Uncle Mac, Felicia and Alan?"
"Of course." Dr. Meadows asks, "I am going to need the medical information about the father. Is he not in the picture since he isn't here with you?"
"No, Jason is not in the picture. Alan, can tell you about Jason because he is Alan's son." Robin said sad that Jason wasn't there to share this with but that wasn't her fault it was his.
"I will tell you anything you need to know about Jason." Alan told Dr. Meadows.
"Okay, now Robin I need to talk to you about your HIV. We are going to be adding some medication to your protocol which will help the babies not contract the virus. I am also going to give you prenatal vitamins. Are you having morning sickness?"
"Not really, I felt sick to my stomach a couple of times but it went away almost immediately."
"Good, I will also write you a prescription in case you do get morning sickness. Call me if anything changes at all. You are a high risk pregnancy because of the HIV so I want to know if you are having any problems." Dr. Meadows takes out a prescription pad and writes several prescriptions and hands them to Robin.
"Now I want to see you in three weeks unless something happens and then call my office and I will get you in if I need to. Do you have any other questions for me?"
"Yes, what chances do my babies have of contracting the virus?"
"We will be doing a C-Section on you because of the HIV. I will be scheduling it for the, let's see, ah the 15th of July that is your due date. Chances of them contracting the virus is about 2% so they have a very good chance of not contracting it."
"Thank you, Dr. Meadows." Dr. Meadows hands Robin, Alan, Mac and Felicia sonogram pictures.
Mac, Felicia, Alan and Dr. Meadows leaves the room so Robin can get dressed. After Robin was dressed and came out of the exam room Mac, Felicia and Robin leave after Alan gives Robin a hug.
Mac says, "You know that was one of the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Congratulation, you are really having twins. Two more Scorpio's to love. How would you ladies like to go out to eat to celebrate by having lunch out at a restaurant?"
"That would be great Mac." Felicia smiles at her husband as the three of them get into their SUV.
"Okay, that sounds great Uncle Mac." Robin smiles at him, knowing he was going to be there for her and her kids. Wow she was pregnant with twins. With Jason's twins to be exact. She wished things were different, but they were what they were and she had to move on and she would, after all she was a Scorpio and a Devane.
"Well where do you ladies want to go? Anywhere you want?"
Felicia turns to look at Robin and asks her, "Do you want to hide your pregnancy and not tell anyone or are you going to start telling people you are pregnant?"
"No, I am not hiding my pregnancy. I don't care if Jason finds out about it or not, it won't change anything between us. He chose them, Carly and Michael, that is and now he can live with his choice. As long as he keeps Michael away from his father AJ then he gets to have no part in these children's lives and as long as he has Carly in his life then me and the kids will not be part of his life. While I was crying myself to sleep last night this is what I decided to do. It's not fair for Jason to be part of the twin's life and mine when he and Carly are keeping AJ from knowing his son. So Jason is not a part of this and he won't be even if he wants to be part of his children's lives if AJ doesn't get to be part of his son's life because of Jason and Carly. Doesn't seem fair to me so this is what I decided."
"Robin, I am very proud of you." Mac said, knowing now wasn't the time to bash Jason and what he did, but he would be discussing it with Jason sometime soon, but after he learns that Robin is pregnant.
"So am I, proud of you that is." Felicia says, smiling at Robin.
"I don't know how you can be. I lied for a year to a good friend and lost who I was by becoming a liar for Jason so he could keep AJ's son away from AJ and for what, because AJ used to drink, but AJ has been cleaning up his life and didn't deserve me lying to him."
"You had changed and no you were not right to lie to AJ or any of us. You are trying to do what is right now though and you quit lying for Jason and Carly. You were put in a bad spot by Jason because you loved him so much and AJ was your friend. You had no one to talk to about what was going on and keeping this lie for Jason you lost yourself and who you were for Jason and his lie and you quit lying for Jason who always loved your honesty and he got mad I'm sure that you told and you two are not together anymore but you are pregnant with his babies' and you do what you think is right and I think you are on the right track keeping Jason away from the babies' until AJ can spend time with his son. Jason needs to know what that feels like to not be able to be part of your children's lives that's what he is doing to AJ."
"Felicia is right Robin and so are you. I know that you love Jason, but he needs to understand where AJ is coming from, just like you said and I am proud to have you as my niece. You made mistakes and are owning up to them. That is one reason I am proud of you. I am also proud that you realize the mistakes you have made and are trying to correct them and going and telling AJ the truth was a good first step."
"Thank you Uncle Mac and Felicia I really appreciate that. I am going to try to rectify what I did wrong if AJ will let me. I am so sorry that when I found out about Michael that I didn't tell AJ, but I was told it was temporary until Carly got back. Well temporary became permanent and when I realized that I should have told, but I loved Jason and wanted him to be happy and when we got back together and Carly was released from Ferncliff I should have said something to Jason, but he loved Michael as a son and I wanted Jason happy and I didn't want to lose him so I didn't say anything and as time went along Jason let Carly manipulate him and I finally had enough when he told me he was moving in with Carly and Michael. Carly and I had a fight about Jason and Carly said he was her puppet and Michael was the string. I couldn't let Carly manipulate the situation and Jason anymore. I told AJ the truth and now Jason can't forgive me. For what telling the truth? I forgave him everything and he can't forgive me one thing? That's bull. I guess he didn't love me as much as I loved him."
"I'm sorry you are hurting Robin, but your miracle has happened and you are going to be a mother. Concentrate on that, you may have lost Jason, true, but you have two babies' and you have always wanted to be a mother and your dream is coming true." Felicia said.
"Yes, that is true. I am going to have two babies to love. I am not going to hide it, either. My pregnancy that is. I have the right to celebrate and I am going to celebrate the fact that I am pregnant. No hiding it or keeping it secret."
"You know Jason is going to find out fast if you don't hide or keep it secret."
"Yes, I know and I don't care if he knows. He is not going to be part of my pregnancy or my life. He is keeping AJ from his son and so he doesn't have the right to say anything about me keeping my babies from him."
"Okay we are here."
Felicia and Robin notice they are at the PC Grill and Mac gets out and hands the valet his keys and gets a slip and Felicia and Robin get out and Mac comes around and says "Ladies we are going to go inside not hiding anything and celebrate the new Scorpio's that will be here soon."
"I love you, Uncle Mac." Robin hugs her uncle thankful for him and for Felicia, "I love you, Felicia. Thank you both for being here for me."
They smile and Felicia hugs Robin and the three of them go into the PC Grill to celebrate the coming Scorpio's. The babies that Robin never thought she could have. What awaited them inside though?
