"Black, White. Can I ask for a favor from the both of you? It's really important that I ask you this." Leon said, gazing at the two red headed male sitting under the tree with Lucian sleeping in White's arms her head resting on his chest.
"Sure." Black said. "What is it?"
It's not every day that their friend would ask them a favor. Leon isn't the type to rely much even towards his close friends.
"If anything were to happen to me and Aria, please look after Lucian."
Handing Lucian to the both of them is the only thing he can do to ensure her safety in the future. He knows that one day, Lucian will enter the world of Wonderland. It's not something that she can avoid. She is a part of Wonderland.
If he could do anything about it, he would never want her to enter Wonderland. He would make sure that she lives a normal life. But he can't do that.
To him being a Role Holder is a curse. It's the worst thing to happen. Even if it is a better role than a faceless it is still hard.
One thing that he fears the most is having Lucian to take on the burden of what he left in Wonderland once she gets there. There will be faceless people who will hate her once they find out who she is. Especially the higher-ups.
The ones who makes the rules along with Leon.
They will surely attack Lucian, because he decided to betray them and leave Wonderland.
Not only that, there is also his younger brother that he left behind. He is sure that his brother will hold a grudge against him for leaving. He never really cared much about his brother. The brat is annoying as hell.
"Even though my family is residing in this world, there is no guarantee that we are safe. Anything can happen to us. So please, I want you to take care of Lucian when the time comes."
"Whoa, Leon." Black said. "You sound like you're gonna go away or something."
"….Not now, but someday Aria and I will."
White tilted his head a bit to the side as he gazes into Leon's face. He could see a tiny bit of pain written on Leon's face as he stares at his daughter.
"Leon, is something wrong?" White asked.
"I just want my daughter to be safe, that's all."
Leon kneeled down on both knees and reached his right hand out to Lucian. He softly and gently stroked her hair and down to her face, brushing away the strands of hair away from her eyes. Every time he thinks about what would happen to his precious little daughter in the future it breaks his heart.
"Don't worry." White said, placing his right hand over Leon's shoulder. "I promise to take care of Lucian for you and Aria. I can't say for sure that she will be completely safe and away from harm, but I will try my best to make sure that she lives long enough."
"Yeah, man. You can count on us." Black grinned and pointed his thumb to his chest. "And even if you didn't ask us that favor, we would still have taken care of this brat in the future."
"Yes." White smiled. "After all, we love her."
Leon smiled and rolled his eyes. He sure hopes that they're not talking about loving Lucian as in the love, love. But then again, he already made the choice the day Lucian was born that his daughter will belong to both Jokers when he and Aria are gone.
"I know you two love my daughter, but I love her more. I'm serious when I say that I'm not ready to hand my precious little princess to two perverted men."
Black pouted and crossed his arms. "We ain't perverted, bastard."
"Says the one who enjoys seeing naked women in his prison." Leon smirked and quickly stood up before Black could land a punch on him. "Ahaha. Nice try, Black. I'm better than you. Come inside the house before it gets dark. Aria is already making dinner for all of us, and you know how she gets when we don't show up in the dinner table on time."
"We'll be there in a few minutes." White said while grabbing the shirt of Black in case his counterpart tries to attack Leon again.
"Oh. One more thing." Leon pulled out a gold necklace with a key and a small cursive of the letter L is engrave on the top of the handle. He threw the necklace and Black caught it with his left hand.
"What is this?" Black asked, inspecting the key as he spin it around his finger.
"Keep that. It's going to be useful in the future. Don't lose it, okay."
"Kay."
"Thanks."

The laughter and the smile of White's workers in the circus filled the atmosphere with happiness. The children surrounded the silver-white haired woman with giggles and laughter. The workers were all worried about their master's woman when the three returned from their visit to the Hatter's Mansion. They saw her with bandages in her arm while she was carried by White.
At first they all wanted to go to the Hatter's Mansion and avenge their lady, but White told them not to. He didn't want to add more trouble.
So when the workers saw Lucian again after being out of conscious for a while they all celebrated. One reason why they are celebrating is they don't have to work their butt off as hard when Black takes over for White in the circus, and two, they can see their Ringmaster's smile once again. White never smiled during the time Lucian was out. It wasn't fitting to see him without his beautiful smile.
The workers are used to not seeing Black smile. He mostly glare and cuss at them, but he is still their master so they can't say anything about it.
"Lady Lucian! Lady Lucian!" A little girl with short bobby brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, wearing a colorful dress grabbed Lucian's hands. "Let's play a game!"
"Sure." Lucian smiled down at the child. "What do you all want to play?"
"Hide and Seek!
Lucian smiled softly and nodded her head. It's been a long time since she played that game. The last she did play hide and seek is with her parents.
"Sure, but we should ask your master first."
"Okay!"
"No need."
Lucian and the child both turned their heads around to see White standing by the entrance of the circus with his arms behind his back.
"You've all been working hard for the past time changes. Go on and take a few days of break."
"Really, master Joker?" The girl asked, her eyes gleaning with joy.
"Yes."
"Thank you!" The child turned her attention back to Lucian and she grabbed her left hand. "Let's go play, Lady Lucian!"
"Okay, okay." She laughed softly, never taking her eyes off of White. "Thank you, White."
"Anything for you, love."
White watched as Lucian and a group of children leave the circus, heading towards the forest. He made sure that some of the adults are to go with them. He didn't want anything bad to happen to Lucian.
Once he know that they are completely out of sight, he let out a loud sigh, walking further inside the tent where Rein was. The young man was seated in one of the audience seat, holding several papers that has something to do with Lucian.
White walked up to him, already looking tired. "Did you find anything?" He sat down next to Rein and took his hat off.
"Yes." Rein nodded his head, handing the papers to White. "My research led me to believe that the only reason why young master have two hearts is due to both Master Leon and Lady Aria implanting a human heart inside young master when she was born. It is not impossible for the both of them to make a heart, after all, Master Leon has the capability to do a lot of wonder."
"But I never heard Lucian's clock during my time in the human world."
"My only guess is that the clock wasn't strong enough to outdone a human heart. Blood did said that her clock was louder than her human heart when she was unconscious."
"So you're telling me that her being here makes her clock stronger than her human heart?"
"Yes, but only when young master is unconscious. I'm still trying to figure out why though."
"This is getting more complicated than I thought." White sighed once again.
"Well, you can always try to get inside her mind. Who knows, maybe we can find something important."
"That's another problem."
"Huh?"
"Joker and I can't enter her mind. He and I have done it many times with no luck. It is like something is blocking our way. This only happened when we tried to enter Leon's mind. He wouldn't let us in at all."
"So Master Leon and young master probably have the same ability that blocks anyone that wants to enter their mind."
"But Lucian grew up in the human world. She can't have any abilities."
"Do not forget." Rein looked at White. "Young master may have been born in the human world but she is a Wonderlandians, and her parents are one of the strongest role holders that have ever lived. There is no way that young master will not have any abilities."
White frowned. "But I am not trying to bring her in this crazy war that we fight in. I promised her parents that I will protect her and I am not going to break that any time soon."
"Forgive me for saying this." Rein stood up. "But you have already broken that promise when you brought the young master back covered in bandages from your visit in the Hatter's mansion. You said it yourself, this world is cruel place to live in. The only way to survive is to fight. If you want to keep your promise to my master, then I suggest that you train the young master how to defend herself."
"I can't do that." White looked away. Leon and Aria want their only child to live a normal life. Training her mean that she'll join the role holders' meaningless war.
"Here's another way to protect the young master then. Let the young master return to the human world and lock the door that leads her to this world permanently."
"I can't lock the door. The role of the one guarding the door is not me. I don't even know who owns that role. Leon was the last one. Ever since he left, the door have been open for any outsiders to enter."
Lucian will be better off living in the human world than staying in Wonderland. But that also means that both Black and White will never see her again. White want the best for her, but he can't live without her.
"Then your best chance is to train the young master."
"Fine. I will have to ask her when she return with the children."
"That's good. And one more thing. Think of this as a crazy idea, but what if the one who holds the role of the door is Master Leon's younger brother."
"What!" White stood up, glaring at Rein. That is not possible. That brat cannot take what is left of Leon in this world.
"Back in the Looking-Glass Country before I was taken out of my role, I've heard rumors that he took the role secretly. But it was just a rumor."
"Fuck." White said under his breath, his right hand crumpling the papers he is holding. "This is not good. This is really not good." He immediately walked away, and Rein followed after him.
"I don't think that it's real though."
"No! There is a possibility that the brat took the role. That means that he may already know that Lucian entered this world. Not only that, he also may have been the one who brought her here in the first place. Lucian told me that no rabbit took her here."
"Peter never took her in?" Rein asked, his blue eyes widening. "Not even Sidney?"
When he got no answer from White, Rein felt his clock stop for a few seconds. "Oh shit."
"I don't have time for this. Stay here and protect Lucian. I will talk to the caterpillar about this."
"But wouldn't that let Nightmare know that the young master is the daughter of Master Leon and Lady Aria? You said that you're keeping who her parents are a secret."
"Well it's not going to be a secret anymore."
From the outside of the tent stood Gray. He couldn't believe what he'd just heard. The new foreigner is a Wonderlandians and the daughter of the two infamous role holders. He needed to tell this to Nightmare now.
He begun to slowly and quietly move back, trying not to attract any attention. He then turned his body around only to pause at the sight of a gun pointing directly in between his eyes at a very close range, and a certain warden glaring at him and ready to shoot him down.
"What the fuck are you trying to do, lizard?" Black asked, his lone eye narrowing dangerously. "Sneaking into my territory and eavesdropping on the clown and my worker. You think I wouldn't notice, did ya. You got there seconds to tell what you're doing here, bastard."
Gray immediately opened his mouth and said, "Nightmare's order."
"Good, then we don't have to waste time trying to contact your boss." White walked out of the tent with Rein behind him. "Tell him that I need to talk to him immediately. Oh, what you heard is to be kept a secret from the other role holders."
"The damn caterpillar can know about this, but not the others yet." Black said. "If you do tell then I will-"
"Kill you." White finished off, his single red eye is more intimidating than Black.
Gray could only nod his head, sweat trickling down his neck. There's no way he can fight off these three. "If you want to speak to Lord Nightmare, then you need to bring the young lady as well."
"Very well. Rein, go find Lucian." White said.
Rein bowed his head before running off into the forest.

In the Looking-Glass Country, a man with long, layered silver-white hair tied in a loose ponytail dress in white and blue suit sat in his dark lit room with a hand size mirror floating in front of him. His cold dark blue eyes staring at a female figure hiding behind a tree in a forest.
His lips slowly curled upward and he rested his chin on the right palm of his hand.
"Finally found you, my little niece."
