Chapter 1:
Hayley's P.O.V.
*Lakewood High Cafeteria- Lunch
There has been no other moment that I have regretted what I just said. I lifted my head out of my hands to see Jake lift his head, tears in his eyes, get up and walk towards the door that leads to outside. I run my hand through my hair then slam my head down on the lunch table wondering what I had just done. "Hey Hayley, what's up?" Cadence asked flopping down on the bench next to me, her boots clunking as they hit the ground. I turned my head to see Cadences eyes widen when she saw the tears streaming down my face. "Hey honey, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Cadence lifted my head and wiped off my tears with the sleeve of her jacket, smiling up at me. "Okay, now tell me what happened." I closed my eyes tight and thought back to what just happened. Jake had came up to me and started to tell me something. Then I yelled at him. I yelled at Jake! I've never yelled at anyone in my life! I slowly open my eyes and take a deep breath. "Jake told me that he likes me."

Jake's P.O.V.
Okay Jake, you can do this. Just go up to her and tell her how you feel. It shouldn't be that hard, I mean just because she looks extra beautiful today wearing her light pink pencil skirt with white trim and that baby blue shirt that fits her curves just right.
Ugh! This is going to be harder than I thought!
