Coming of age is a trial for everyone. Especially for those who have to grow up faster due to war. Sokka thought his path was clear. Keep his sister and tribe safe. Be a man and warrior his dad would be proud of. But then he finds a stranded girl. And then his sister finds a boy trapped in ice, and his path turns out to not be as straight-forward as he had thought.

Azula is re-educated through experimental and questionable means under Zuko's supervision. The result? A new, reformed Azula. However, cracks start showing as she attempts to establish a new life and rekindle her old friendship with Mai and Ty Lee. The two seemed thoroughly convinced by her transformation, and decide to give her one more chance. Azula tries to hold it all together.

Soon after Azula's conquering of Ba Sing Se, Aang has to come to grips with his failure to stop her invasion fleet. Zuko has to come to terms with reinstatement as Prince of the Fire Nation. Aang and Zuko were heading back to the temple after their trip to the Sun Warriors. in the western air temple Katara is getting tired of Zuko apologizing for everything, she wants the old Zuko back, the proud prince but she doesn't expect her good intentions are going to wake up another side of Zuko, the question is, can Katara love the real Zuko?

The exchange in Omashu goes anything but how Azula expected it to. Spirit shenanigans ensue, and suddenly the princess of the Fire Nation finds herself shrunken down to her child form.
