*Hey everyone, sorry for the long waits between updates. But, I've made some changes to where I am now pretty content with the story. ^^ So, hopefully the updates will come sooner! :)*

"Yeah... he just did," Jeff breathed, turning to face me. His face, unlike mine, was beyond pissed. I was just wondering why the fuck that dude wanted to kill me!

My eyebrows angrily furrowed as my fists clenched tightly together. "You just let that asshole try. He'll be in for another death," I growled, beneath my breath.

Jeff's smile returned. "Alright, man. I'm going to go out and kill. You should probably, too, unless you want to spend time with your new chick," he chuckled, before stalking off to his room.

I grumbled under my breath, continuing down the hall to get Winter's drink. That bastard didn't even know what he was talking about. But in a way, it was my fault. If I hadn't of said anything to Jeff... he wouldn't have been killed. Whether I asked for it or not. I sighed, trying my best to shake the thoughts from my head. Besides. I had bigger things to worry about. Like the human that was sitting in my room right now.

Winter's Point of View

"Ha! In your face!" I beamed at the clown who was sitting on the beanbag chair to my side.

Laughing Jack's lips pulled down as he pouted, crossing his arms across his chest. He threw his controller down, angrily. "You're pretty good, tootsie," he replied, his black lips pulling back up into his signature smile.

"Thanks," I chuckled, leaning back in my chair. Where the hell was Ben with my drink? I honestly wasn't excited to see his reaction when he came back to his room to see Laughing Jack sitting here. Ah well. He'd just have a mini tantrum and Jack would leave.

"So, did Ben tell ya about the new fella that came to the mansion?" Jack asked, stuffing a lollipop into his mouth. I had no idea where it came from, but I didn't question it. He was now offering me one as well. I took it without hesitation.

"Yeah, a little bit," I murmured, not really wanting to discuss Darren being here, with no memory. But I couldn't let LJ know that I knew him.

"He's a strange one, I'll tell ya!" Jack sighed, crossing his legs.

I raised my eyebrows as I looked at him, popping the grape lollipop in my mouth. "How so?" I asked, my voice slightly muffled due to the lollipop.

"I dunno. I just get this weird vibe off the dude. Like, he was all friendly, but I feel like he just wants to kill us all in our sleep," he chuckled, it building and building until he fell back, his laughs bouncing around the walls.

I nearly choked on the sucker, blinking repetitively. I just couldn't see Darren like that. In fact, I was simply pretending it was some one else. In all reality... it was. "Well that's... interesting," I replied, appearing interested as Jack's laughs died down.

"Hmm. Well, I can't blame the guy. He's a new killer. It's only natural," he shrugged. "I don't really like liars, though, and neither does Jeff. He just needs to drop the facade," Jack shrugged.

I scoffed, rolling my eyes. Jeff could go drop off a cliff for all I care. Just as I was about to reply, Ben entered the room. I watched as he nearly stumbled back, seeing Jack was here.

"Out you fucking clown!" he yelled, nearly spilling my water.

"Aww the party is over," Jack pouted, his raspy voice entertained. "See ya later tootsie!" he giggled, then disappearing from sight.

Ben grumbled, cussing under his breath as he shut the door, locking it as well. "Leave it to the crazy clown to have teleportation," I heard him growl, while angrily shaking his head.

"Hey, at least he's nice. Unlike you, asshat," I laughed, trying to make things light after the days events.

Ben scowled. "Don't make me 'accidentally' spill your water, bitch woman."

"You wouldn't dare, fuckhead."

"Try me, blue haired bitch."

"Oh, so we're back to the basics, elf boy."

His face went red as I laughed, my glasses nearly falling off of my nose. "Just drink your damn water," he growled, nearly shoving the glass into my face.

"Yes, dear," I chuckled, as his shoulders dropped in annoyance.

"Why in the hell did I bring you here," he grumbled under his breath, face palming.

"Um... because I was weird right? No, that's why you didn't kill me... Um, because your best friend killed mine? Yeah, I think that's right," I smirked.

His red pupils where on me as his eyes narrowed. "Yeah. The best friend who just declared Jeff and I to be on the top of his hit list," he growled, his fists clenching.

I paused from our mini war, my eyes widening. "Wh... What?" I breathed, unable to believe. "I thought he didn't remember anything... And on top of that, I understand Jeff. But why you?" I asked.

A sick part of me didn't want anything to happen to the demon elf. I didn't know why, but I just didn't. I must be sick. The air in this place could be contaminated. Or perhaps it was the lollipop LJ gave me. Yeah, that was it. I threw it on the ground, causing Ben to sigh.

"He only remembers Jeff killing him. I don't know what the fuck he has against me. Maybe it's my hat," he sighed, sitting back. "Or just because I was standing with him," he scoffed, angrily popping his knuckles.

"I think it's the hat," I grinned. He threw me a look, that only made me laugh. "Ah, c'mon, Benny. Just give it some time, and I'm sure it'll blow over."

"You sure about that?" he murmured. "He's pretty pissed, Winter."

I shrugged. "With your badass electric hands and snarky personality, you shouldn't be worried," I grinned, throwing him a controller. "Now play some video games with me and shut up," I giggled, watching as he smiled slightly, coming to sit with me.

Knowing Darren was alive... kind of... eased up my nerves. I felt like me again. Sort of. Not completely there yet, but better. I was also comfortable around Ben, which was strange as well. I guess it was better than before, in away. I could just hope that things would get better.

After all, we still had to worry about the rest of the house finding out about me.
