Chapter 4 Tsuyoshi and Yasushi

Near the camp where Inuyasha and Shippo were stationed, two unfamiliar male figures were walking down the trail about several miles from them. The tallest of the duo had tan skin with wavy, shoulder length black hair. His bright green eyes looked around sleepily as they have been walking for awhile and his bones were already exhausted. He stretched out and yawned, causing his partner to send him an annoyed glare with his icy blue eyes. He flipped his long white silver, well placed hair, making a displeased noise. "How are you already tired?!" He asked his companion, "we have only been walking for an hour for god's sakes." The dark haired male, gave him a questionable look, adjusting his dark kimono. "Well brother," he kept his eyes focused on the road ahead, "we have been asleep for quite awhile.." His brother immediately put an index finger in his face. "Tsuyoshi, that is no excuse!" He huffed and closing his eyes, "as one of the sons of the Katusha clan, a simple stroll should not tire you so easily." "God, Yasushi, " Tsuyoshi made a little laugh, "the older you get, the more of our mother you become." "And what's wrong with that?!" Yasushi said, clearly feeling insulted, "our mother would be ashamed at you right now." He continued to rant for a moment, still not opening his eyes. Tsuyoshi was canceling him out as he always does until he saw him about to run into a big tree. "Hey, Yasu.." "What is wrong with you!" Yasushi had turned his head to him, giving him an angry look, "how can you be so rude to interrupt me?! Did you turn into a barbarian as soon as we exited that prison we were in or are you just stupid?" Tsuyoshi opened his mouth to retort but only turned into a smirk. "You are correct, my dear brother," he gave him a respectful bow, right as Yasushi turned his head slamming into the tree in front of him. Yasushi fall down, cursing loudly. "Fuck! My nose!" He held his nose, also cursing at his now dirty kimono. "Now now now," Tsuyoshi wagged his finger at him, "such language is not tolerated and is such bad manners." He immediately started to laugh, holding his stomach. Yasushi gave him a threatening hiss, still rubbing his nose. His brother got down to him, giving him a smile. "Come on now, don't hiss at me," he removed Yasushi's hand, inspecting his nose, "you're fine. Just a bruise." "Oh...good," Yasushi punched him hard in the mouth, causing his brother to cry out in pain. "Ow! Damnit why did I trust you!?" Tsuyoshi grabbed his nose, rolling on the ground. His brother picked himself up, wiping off the dirt from his kimono. He looked down, keeping his composure. "Stop whining and come on," he continued to walk forward, while his brother mumbled under his breath following after him.

Inuyasha opened up his eyes, happy to see that the rain finally stopped. He stretched and looked over to a sleeping Shippo laying against his shoulder. He lightly ruffled up the boy's hair, smiling down at him. It made him remember the day that the group had found out of Inuyasha's orientation and how easily Shippo had reacted to it. He thought Shippo would be extremely upset with the loss of him having Kagome has a mother but seemed to not mind Inuyasha's position nor Kagome's reaction to it. He closed his eyes, still remembering that day before trying to shake it off. "No, I can't go back to thinking about that," Inuyasha sighed thinking to himself, "I am still Inuyasha no matter who I mate with." He nodded to himself. He would not allow himself to sulk over the situation. Look at Kouga. He is a uke and still the flea-bag wolf who had grown to be his best friend. Inuyasha snorted a bit, feeling bad for Kouga being pursued by his half-brother, Sesshomaru. He could only imagine having to deal with him, or hell having any form of other options left when everyone found out. It made Inuyasha laugh and feel a bit better. His laughter quickly vanished when his ears perked up, hearing footsteps coming towards their cave. He quickly, but quietly moved Shippo into the back of the cave, in case there was an ambush coming. He stood towards next to the entrance, listening in as the visitors got closer. "Oh look," he heard a voice say from a few feet outside, "there's a cave. We can sit down for a moment." "I am NOT going to sit in a musty cave," the other retorted. Inuyasha suddenly heard a ruffling sound and shouting. "Put me the hell down!" "No, brother. I am tired of walking and we are going to wait in this cave." Inuyasha prepared himself as he finally started to see their shadows approaching the cave. He then saw two male characters walking right past him into the cave, still arguing with each other. "Put me down damnit!" The white haired one shouted at the taller one. "Fine," he dropped him down roughly onto the cave floor. The shorter one did not enjoyed that at all. "Have you lost your mind?!" "That was for punching me in the face earlier!" "Well, if you had warned me about that tree and hadn't laugh at me, that wouldn't have happened." "Well if you wouldn't scold me like a damn child I would have!" The two continued to argue, still not noticing Inuyasha at all. Inuyasha tilted his head at them, relaxing a tad bit. He looked at them back and forth, hoping they don't wake up poor Shippo. "They...remind me of me and Sesshomaru," Inuyasha thought to himself, looking at them. He nodded, looking at the one who almost resembled his older brother. After awhile, Inuyasha folded his arms, clearing his throat. "Will both of you shut up!" Inuyasha shouted, coming into view of them.

The brother froze, turning to see Inuyasha in surprise. The silver haired one gave Inuyasha a look. "...How long have you been standing there?" Inuyasha rolled his eyes at him, "I've been in this cave before you even got got in here," he pointed at them both, "you two were too busy arguing to even notice me." The brother pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head in disbelief. "Tsuyoshi, we need to be more..." he looked over at his brother who was just staring at Inuyasha. "Tsuyoshi.." he called to him again. Inuyasha looked over at the one called Tsuyoshi, noticing the weird stare he was giving him. Tsuyoshi couldn't stop looking at him. From his tanned skin to his fluffy cute ears, he seemed to be entraced by Inuyasha. "Tsuyoshi!" his brother called to him again, getting rather annoyed at him. Tsuyoshi, unconsiously, started to move towards Inuyasha. He gently grabbed Inuyasha's ears, moving them side to side. "They are real...and so soft and fluffy." he continued to think aloud, looking down at Inuyasha's rear, "he doesn't have a tail though. He does have a nice butt though." Tsuyoshi moved his hand, squeezing Inuyasha's rump a bit. Inuyasha's face went into a blush, quickly changing into anger. His brother closed his eyes, only hearing the loud bang noise and Tsuyoshi in pain. "Ow! Why is everyone punching my face?!" He opened his eyes, seeing his brother's attacker annoyed and his brother holding his nose in pain. "Please, excuse him," he sighed, going up to Inuyasha, "he's an idiot sometimes." He held out of his hand to Inuyasha. "My name is Yasushi and the idiot you punched is Tsuyoshi." Inuyasha looked at his hand curiously before shaking it. "My name is Inuyasha." Tsuyoshi got up slowly, still a bit in pain. "Yasushi, why didn't you protect me?" Tsuyoshi made a pouting face at his brother, who sent him a bored look. "You went up and grabbed his rear.." "I was clearly under the spell of his beauty that I couldn't think!" he tried to defend his actions. Inuyasha blushed a bit at the comment, not used to being complimented by men yet. Yasushi went over and hit his brother over the head. "Baka." They started to argue again, Inuyasha just watching the two still puzzled. "This is going to go on forever..." Inuyasha clapped his hands loudly, making the two stop. "What are you guys doing out here anyway?" "Oh," Tsuyoshi looked over at Inuyasha, "we are looking for a woman named Kikyo." Inuyasha's ears perked up at the sound of her name. "Kikyo!" The brothers looked at each other and then to Inuyasha more seriously. "You know of the priestess." "Well yeah...but she's dead. Well permantently now." Inuyasha noticed the confusion in their faces and explained about Naraku and the evil witch who had resurrected her. Tsuyoshi let out a sigh as Yasushi gritted his teeth. "Well...there goes our vegenance brother." Inuyasha was now the one confused. "Huh?" "Oh nothing," Tsuyoshi brushed it out with a laugh, "we'll be leaving now." The brothers exited the cave without a goodbye. Inuyasha raised his eyebrow, but shrugged it off going into the back of the cave to check on Shippo.

Tsuyoshi angrily punched a hole a tree as soon as the brothers were out of Inuyasha's ear range. Yasushi closed his eyes and looked up at the sky. "Yoshi. There is no use in destroying tree." Tsuyoshi wiped his head around to him. "Why in the hell are you so calm?!" Tsuyoshi started to pace back and forth, "This woman enclosed us in a underground prison, allowed those humans to destroy if not all of our clan, took away centuries of our lives, and now I can't even finally destroy her!" Tsuyoshi kicked another tree down. "What am I suppose to do with all this anger?! Why are we even here?" Yasushi was silent, only after he opened his eyes he gave his brother a response. "While we were talking to Inuyasha, I felt a faint presence of the priestess here." Tsuyoshi stood in his tracks, looking at him in surprise. "But he said.." "I know, brother," he looked at him, "it's not her but feels like more a descendant of hers...I think I know how we can get our vegenance." Tsuyoshi gave his brother a look. "What do you have in mind?" Yasushi finally looked at his brother slowly before giving him a cold, evil smirk.
