Daisuke Uchiha Chapter Sixteen

I don't own Digimon or Naruto

Chapter Sixteen: A Month of Training

Daisuke groaned as she opened her eyes slowly and took in her surroundings slowly. "The hospital, what am I doing here? The last thing I remember was fighting Neji in the preliminary match, and I won. But how'd I get here?" she thought to herself in confusion. The door to her room opened up and she looked to see a man with his arm in a sling, one of his eyes covered in bandages with an x shaped scar on his chin, and using a cane to help with an obvious limp. "Can I help you?" Daisuke asked the man.

"I was more interested in helping you young Uchiha," the man said making Daisuke tense up slightly.

"Why, who are you?" she asked him.

"I am a man who has the best interests of the Leaf village at heart. My name is Danzo, and I saw how you fought in the preliminaries of the third exam. I am intrigued by your skills, you were able to defeat the prodigy of the Hyuga clan and he is a year ahead of you as well," Danzo said.

"Okay…but what else happened, who's facing who in the finals?" Daisuke asked Danzo, still tense.

"Sasuke Uchiha is facing Shino Aburame, and your other teammate is facing Kiba Inuzuka," the man informed her making Daisuke's eyes widen at the knowledge of her teammate and Kiba fighting each other. "And you are facing Gaara of the Sand, which is why I am here. He faced Rock Lee one of the Hyuga's teammates and he crushed Lee's right arm and leg crippling him. The preliminary report says he will never be a ninja again." Daisuke gasped at the news as she looked at Danzo.

"And did you just come here to tell me who I was facing or something?" she asked him.

"No, I came here to offer you training for the finals," he answered.

"But what about Kakashi-sensei?" Daisuke asked him confused.

"He will be teaching your teammate Sasuke Uchiha over the month, and I have a feeling on who will be training your other teammate," he told her.

"Why should I go with you, I can train myself just fine," Daisuke informed him.

"Training by oneself cannot compare to training with a skilled teacher. If you train under me you will become far stronger under my tutelage then you would on your own," Danzo said making Daisuke frown slightly. "Do you accept?" he asked looking at her.

Daisuke's frown deepened. He sounded reasonable, but there was something wrong, her instincts were screaming at her to refuse. "No, I think I can train myself for the fight against Gaara thank you very much," she told Danzo coolly. He frowned slightly at her.

"Is that so? And you will not reconsider?" he asked.

"Of course not, I've made my decision. I don't need training from you!" Daisuke said, her Sharingan activating instinctively as she glared at the strange man.

"I see, very well. But my offer shall still stand," he said before he vanished in a swirl of leaves and wind. Daisuke gave a sigh of relief as she laid back down in her bed.

"Who was that guy and what was his interest in me?" she asked herself as the door opened to reveal a nurse. "Am I allowed to go?" she asked the nurse who looked at her clipboard and nodded her head at Daisuke. "Alright," the young Uchiha said as the nurse smiled and closed the door again. Daisuke got out of her bed and jumped out the hospital window through the village. "Okay, now I have to find someone to train me, but who?" she thought. "Sensei is training Sasuke, Naruto is being trained by someone else, who else is there for me?" she wondered mentally landing on a rooftop and scratching her head. "I don't really want to have to get training from that Danzo guy, he really rubbed me the wrong way somehow."

"Daisuke, there you are. I've been looking for you," a voice called, making her turn around to see Kakashi standing there.

"Sensei, I thought you were training Sasuke?" she asked him.

"I am," he said.

"Wait…you're a clone of Kakashi?" Daisuke asked, and the clone nodded his head at her.

"The real me knows you're facing Gaara and saw how badly injured Lee was after their fight, so he decided that while he trained Sasuke I would train you and hopefully help you win the fight," he told Daisuke who smiled at the thoughtfulness of her sensei.

"Okay then, let's get started," she said eagerly, and the clone nodded his head.

"Follow me then," he said to Daisuke who nodded and both of them jumped off through the village.

Meanwhile with Naruto he was strolling through the village happily with his hands behind his head. "Man I can't believe I'm facing Kiba in the finals, what's Daisuke gonna say when she finds out and who will she cheer for…" Naruto was cut off in his thoughts when he heard perverted giggling as he walked past the women's bathhouse where he saw a man with spiky white hair wearing a green battle kimono, a large scroll strapped to his back, and a pencil and notebook in his hands. "What is that guy doing?" Naruto asked himself as he heard the giggling of young women, and he looked through a small hole in the wall and gasped as he saw that the man was peeping. Naruto looked at the man and walked behind him. "HEY PERVERT STOP PEEPING!" he shouted, making the man jump in shock and several girls inside the bathhouse to scream.

"Pervert!" they all shouted making the man gulp before he ran off, grabbing Naruto by his collar and he ran through the village to escape the outraged girls.

"Damnit gaki! What are you trying to do, get me and yourself killed!?" the man shouted, holding Naruto up by his collar and looking him in the eye.

"Well you shouldn't have been peeping on women you pervert," Naruto retorted.

"I'm not a pervert," the man said.

"Than what are you?" Naruto asked him as the man started to do a silly dance his sandals nosily hitting the concrete rooftop.

"I am the wooer of women, the stealer of hearts, men tremble in fear at my name, women wish to know me, and I am the great toad sage of Mount Myoboku, one of the great and legendary Sannin! I am Jiraiya!" the man known as Jiraiya said to Naruto who looked at him uninterested.

"So? You're still a pervert," he said, making the man fall on his back in shock.

"Show some respect gaki! And who are you anyway!?" Jiraiya asked Naruto who smirked at him.

"Me? I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" he announced proudly making Jiraiya's eyes widen slightly.

"You don't say, I've heard about you, you're the one Sarutobi-sensei told me about," he said and Naruto looked at him.

"You know the old man?" he asked.

"Of course I do, he was my sensei, and he said to me that you would be needing a trainer for the finals of the Chunin Exams," Jiraiya told Naruto who pouted slightly.

"So why do you care?" he asked.

"Well Sarutobi-sensei asked me that I train you for the month. I advise you to accept, not many people become a student under one of the Sannin," Jiraiya said to him.

"Wait, a Sannin?" Naruto asked wondering where he heard that word before his eyes widened in shock. "You're with Orochimaru!" he shouted, pointing at the toad sage who looked at him in confusion before laughing, making Naruto frown.

"We were teammates once, but not anymore. And sensei told me about what happened when you encountered him, you're lucky to be alive..." he told the blonde who frowned at him.

"So you want to train me, what's stopping you from going off to peep on girls again?" Naruto asked him.

"I give you my word kid, I won't peep during the time I'm supposed to train you," Jiraiya said to Naruto honestly.

"Should I trust him?" Naruto thought mentally.

"Unless you want to find another person willing to train you," Naruto heard the Kyuubi say to him mentally. Naruto nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the fox speak but he nodded his head slightly.

"Okay, you train me for the month and you don't peep as well, deal?" Naruto asked offering his hand to him.

"Deal gaki," Jiraiya said before he noticed something behind Naruto and giggled perversely.

"What? You're already peeping?" Naruto asked turning around before he paled. "Shit…" he mumbled as he saw Shizuka and her sensei approach them both.

"Naruto Uzumaki," Shizuka said to him.

"Look I beat you fair and square in the preliminaries, so if you've come here to complain and demand a rematch take it up with the old man," Naruto said to her.

"No…nothing like that," Shizuka said to him.

"Then what?" Naruto asked her.

"In my village, only women are born into our line and as such we must find a husband outside the village. We travel the world until we find a man who is strong enough and worthy enough to be our partner," Shizuka said. "When you defeated me in the preliminaries you proves yourself stronger than any man I had ever seen before and as such I have chosen you to be my husband," she declared, making Naruto's eyes widen.

"WHAT!?" he shouted, making the birds in the nearby trees fly away. "Husband!? But I'm thirteen and you're the same age!" Naruto shouted at Shizuka.

"We don't have to be married right now, when we're sixteen shall suffice," she huffed.

"Did you tell old man Hokage this?" Naruto asked Shizuka who nodded her head at him. "Damn," Naruto mumbled.

"Well, you're a lucky guy ain't ya gaki?" Jiraiya joked, making Naruto frown at him. "Don't worry about it, sensei won't make you marry anyone you really don't want to. Still, as much as I am sure you want to get to know your future bride a bit more, you've training to do under me the month before the finals, so let's go!" Naruto gave a shout of surprise as his new sensei grabbed him by the collar and jumped off, leaving Shizuka and her sensei alone.

Meanwhile with the clone of Kakashi and Daisuke the two of them were standing in the middle of a large training field. "Okay, so what're we doing out here?" Daisuke asked the clone of her sensei.

"Well first, we need to discover your chakra nature," he said to her.

"Chakra nature?" she asked in confusion. "But I already know that I'm fire, wind, and earth." The clone took out a small piece of paper and handed it to her.

"Each ninja can use all elements, but they have an element that they are stronger in then the rest of them. Mine is lighting as is Sasuke's from what the original me found out, and now for yours. Seeing as you are an Uchiha you will likely have fire," the clone told her as Daisuke looked at the paper. "If you use an element you don't have an affinity for over a long period of time you often can gain a secondary affinity of that element."

"What do I do, and what chakra nature does what?" She asked.

"Channel chakra into the paper, fire burns, water dampens, earth turns it to dust, lighting makes it crinkle and wind splits it in half," the clone answered, and Daisuke focused and channelled her chakra into the paper which split in two, one side burst into flames the other turned into dust.

"Whoa!" Daisuke exclaimed.

"Fire, Wind and Earth," Kakashi's clone said. "Huh, you really do have those three natures."

"Is that normal?" Daisuke asked curiously.

"Most ninja have one chakra nature and develop the others later on in life, but you seem to be one of a kind for your age," the clone said making Daisuke smile.

"Wahoo! Wait until I tell Sasuke, Naruto, and Kiba!" she cheered happily jumping up and down.

"Alright settle down, we have a lot of work to do before the finals, and the real me made it clear that I was to teach you in everything from working on your Sharingan to your jutsu. Your opponent Gaara of the Sand won't hesitate to kill you like he nearly did to Lee, and he uses sand from the gourd on his back so I need to prepare you for that," the clone said, and Daisuke nodded her head.

"Okay cool, let's get to it," as Daisuke said that she saw the clone pull out a scroll and toss it towards her making the redheaded Uchiha raise an eyebrow. "The heck?" she asked, opening it to see one name faded out. "Sakumo Hatake?" she read.

"My father, that is his wolf summoning contract. I was planning on passing it on someday and now would be just as good as any. I doubt that I'll ever have children so my students should suffice. And before you ask yes the real me gave the okay for me to give it to you," the clone told her before Daisuke could speak, and she nodded her head slowly.

"How do I sign this?" she asked.

"Prick your thumb and sign your name in blood. We'll focus today on getting the hang of summoning." Daisuke nodded and bit her thumbnail and signed her name under the first one as the name then glowed brightly before drying instantly.

"Got it, so now what do I do?" she asked.

"Activate your Sharingan and copy these handsigns," the clone told her and Daisuke complied as she saw the clone go through five handsigns. "When you want to use the jutsu, smear blood on your palm and slam it into the ground, the summon that appears depends on how much chakra you throw into it," the clone told her and Daisuke nodded as she then smeared some blood on her palm and weaved through handsigns.

"SUMMONING JUTSU!" she shouted, slamming her palm onto the floor creating a cloud of smoke. When it cleared, a brown wolf that was up to Daisuke's waist appeared and looked around.

"Raiden?" clone Kakashi asked shocked, making the wolf look at him.

"Well, if it isn't Sakumo Hatake's brat Kakashi, it's been what twenty years?" the wolf asked.

"That is has old friend," Kakashi said as the wolf looked at Daisuke.

"I take it she's the new summoner," Raiden said.

"Yeah, Daisuke Uchiha, pleased to meet you Raiden," Daisuke said petting the wolf on his head slowly.

"Well you seem nice enough, and Kakashi trusts you enough to give you the contract so yes, I accept you as the new summoner of the wolves, call on me and my kin anytime." With that Raiden poofed away in a cloud of smoke leaving Daisuke and Kakashi's clone in the training field.

"Well that was simple enough, now then Daisuke, time to train you for the finals. Just a warning the real me said to not take it easy on you." And with that clone Kakashi and Daisuke set about training for the finals of the Chunin exams.
