Daisuke Uchiha Chapter 27

Daisuke groaned as she opened her eyes slowly, getting to her feet. "What happened?" she thought holding her head. She was sure she had a concussion or something like it. "Sasuke!" she exclaimed, looking around to see the remains of Kidomaru's webbing on the tree that Sasuke was stuck to. However Sasuke was nowhere to be seen. "No...they took him," Daisuke whispered to herself, and then remembered the smug face on Tayuya's face and her snide remarks about her Sharingan prowess. "Oh, she's going to pay. That bitch will pay," she growled before she jumped off and headed for the Hokage Tower. Daisuke jumped through the window and landed in front of Tsunade. "Lady Hokage. It's Sasuke. He's gone," she said and Tsunade's eyes widened before they narrowed.
"What?" Tsunade asked her evenly.
"Well, after you discharged me from the hospital I headed back towards the Uchiha district. Once I arrived at Sasuke's and my house, I sensed four chakra signatures and heard four voices talking really loudly to one another. I acted like I didn't notice or hear them talking, and once I entered the house I created a mud clone. It walked out of the house into the training ground when one of the four, a girl with red hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin dropped down from the tree and snuck up on the clone. It then turned into mud leaving her trapped momentarily..." Daisuke said.
"If the next words out of your mouth are that you fought her..." Tsunade said leaving the threat open to interpretation, and Daisuke gulped and grinned nervously and she scratched her head. "Oh Kami you did, didn't you?" she asked and Daisuke nodded slowly. Tsunade sighed.
"To be fair, she attacked me first. I simply defended myself; I then used my Sharingan to cast a genjutsu on her which is when the other three showed up. As they began their assault Sasuke arrived and together we fought them. But..."
"But what?" Tsunade asked her.
"One of them who had six arms shot web from his mouth and trapped Sasuke, when I tried to help him the largest of the three got behind me and subdued me, and the last thing I saw was that red headed girl who had broken out of my genjutsu knock me out and then when I woke up, Sasuke was gone. The ninja who attacked us, they talked about Orochimaru. I think they're taking Sasuke to Orochimaru for some reason," Daisuke said.
"I see, and how long ago was this?" Tsunade asked her.
"About half an hour I believe," Daisuke answered. "Though I can't be certain because I was unconscious."
"We can't spare any Jonin or experienced Chunin for this mission," Tsunade informed her.
"Then send me, I can find them and..."
"Absolutely not," Tsunade said and Daisuke growled. "They have proven to be strong enough to defeat both you and Sasuke simultaneously, you wouldn't stand a chance. As it is, it's miraculous that they didn't kill you."
"Look, Sasuke is my family. I am not going to let Orochimaru wrap his slimy tongue around him without a fight, so either you let me go and save him or I go rogue and save him," she told Tsunade who frowned at her.
"You think you could catch up to Sasuke before the ANBU could catch you?" she asked her.
"Yes I do or I would die trying to save him," Daisuke answered and Tsunade sighed and held her head in her hands.
"You are such a headache brat."
"It's why people love me," Daisuke replied. Tsunade rolled her eyes before she snapped her fingers and an ANBU dropped to the ground.
"Bring me Shikamaru Nara and tell him if he says troublesome once he'll be stuck on D ranked missions for two months," she told the ANBU who nodded and vanished in a swirl of smoke and five minutes later Shikamaru ran into the room.
"You wanted to see me Lady Tsunade?" he asked.
"I have a mission for you and Daisuke, and you'll both be leading it." Tsunade answered.
"Troublesome," Shikamaru grumbled before Daisuke smacked him on the back of the head making him yelp and glare at Daisuke.
"Earlier today, Sasuke Uchiha was abducted by four of Orochimaru's henchmen. You two are to gather a team and go and rescue him," Tsunade told them. Daisuke nodded while Shikamaru grunted in acknowledgment. Both left the Hokage tower and began to walk through the village.
"So we need to find a team, any suggestions?" Shikamaru asked Daisuke who scratched her head in thought before she snapped her fingers.
"Kiba and Naruto," she said and Shikamaru looked at her. "Kiba for his sense of smell, and the fact that he and Akamaru are a really good tag team,"
"And Naruto?" Shikamaru asked her.
"Sasuke is his teammate as much as he is mine. And he can use the shadow clone jutsu which will significantly boost our manpower if we need it," she answered and Shikamaru was silent for several seconds before he nodded.
"Alright, and also we'll need to get Neji and Choji," he said.
"Why do we need them?" Daisuke asked.
"Well for Neji, his eyes can see detect nearby enemies with more precision than Kiba, and as for Choji he is a powerhouse."
"Alright fine. I'll go and grab Kiba and Naruto; you go and get Neji and Choji. Meet you by the gate." With that Daisuke jumped off in search of Naruto and Kiba while Shikamaru went to find Choji and Neji.
Meanwhile not far from the village the Sound Four were jumping through the trees with a large basket with several paper tags on it.
Jirōbō, Kidōmaru and Sakon all looked at Tayuya. "What the hell are you three shitheads looking at?" she asked them uneasily.
"Funny how you are acting like all is well, Tayuya," Sakon said evenly.
"Well, it is. I mean we've got the brat and we just need to deliver him to Orochimaru," Tayuya said trying to remain calm.
"Yes, we've got the Uchiha. But we still need to deal with your actions," Kidōmaru told her.
"Actions? Oh for crying out loud, you guys aren't still hung up about that. It was all part of my plan," Tayuya said.
"Plan?" Sakon asked her.
"Yeah. Plan. I had a feeling that if I mocked that bitch she would snap and attack me, therefore lowering her guard on her surroundings and allowing you guys to get the jump on here," Tayuya said quickly. "Phew, hopefully that will calm down these fuckers," she thought.
"Such a clumsy excuse," Sakon sneered. "We'll see just what Lord Orochimaru thinks of it. Knowing him you'll be on a slab being cut open slowly and oh so painfully," he hissed before jumping off, and Tayuya shivered in fear.
"Fuck this," she thought to herself.
"If you think of leaving Tayuya….you won't get far," Kidōmaru warned her before he jumped off followed by Sakon and Jirōbō and finally Tayuya.
Not far behind them, Daisuke, Shikamaru, Neji, Choji, Kiba along with Akamaru, and finally Naruto were jumping through the trees with Neji out in front, his Byakugan activated.
"Neji, do you see anything?" Daisuke asked and the Hyuga was silent for several seconds.
"Yes…..they are not far. I can see Sasuke, but it is difficult to get a lock on him," he answered.
"Maybe they have him in some sort of container which is blocking his chakra signature," Shikamaru suggested.
"Kiba?" Daisuke asked and he nodded before he began to sniff the air as did Akamaru before the dog barked.
"They're four of them and they smell like they've picked up the pace," Kiba explained.
"Shoot, come on!" Naruto exclaimed.
"I'll go ahead and circle around them," Daisuke said.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Neji asked her and Daisuke smirked before she weaved through handsigns.
"EARTH STYLE: SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT BOULDER JUTSU!" she exclaimed before her speed increased to the point she was almost a blur. "It took me a while to stop running into things with it, but so worth it," she thought.
"Like that," Kiba said and he smirked while Neji rolled his eyes as the others continued on, meanwhile the four sound ninja were jumping through the trees when a barrage of kunai came towards them.
"Shit!" Tayuya exclaimed as the four jumped over the projectiles. Suddenly multiple fireballs flew towards them and hit the trees they were about to land on, and the force of the explosions sent them to the ground where they landed on their feet.
"Show yourselves!" Sakon shouted.
"As you wish." The four saw Daisuke land on the ground in front of them and she glared at them. "Give Sasuke back!"
"Like we'll do what you tell us to bitch," Sakon snarled as the rest of Daisuke's team arrived.
"More of you pests?" Kidōmaru asked them.
"Yes, now hand Sasuke over and we won't have to kick your asses," Daisuke told him and the four ninja laughed. "I don't see why you guys are laughing, I mean I took out the redhead with one basic Genjutsu," she said and Tayuya growled while the others stopped laughing and they too growled but it was focused at Tayuya.
"Seriously?" Kiba asked and Daisuke nodded and he howled in laughter.
"Enough of this!" Kidōmaru snapped as he grabbed the basket. "Jirōbō, handle these pests," he ordered and he, Sakon and Tayuya jumped off.
"This shouldn't take long, EARTH STYLE BARRIER: EARTH DOME PRISON!" he shouted, weaving through handsigns and he smacked his hands on the ground. A dome of earth appeared and encased the Leaf team. "You guys are not going to get out of this anytime soon," he said with a smirk as he placed his hand on the surface of the dome. Inside the dome, the Leaf ninja were beginning to worry.
"Damn, how we gonna get out of here?" Kiba asked and Daisuke looked around and her Mangekyo Sharingan activated and she saw chakra surrounding within the structure of the dome.
"This whole dome is full of his chakra," Daisuke said.
Yeah and?" Naruto asked and Daisuke smirked.
"Watatsumi," she whispered focusing both her eyes on the dome and it began to crumble much to everyone but Naruto's shock.
"What!?" Jirōbō shouted shocked.
"Choji!" Daisuke yelled.
"PARTIAL EXPANSION JUTSU!" he shouted and his arms grew in size. He smashed through the weakened dome sending debris flying.
"Impossible, nobody has ever broken free of my dome," Jirōbō said shocked.
"There is a first time for everything," Daisuke said.
"You guys go, I'll take this guy," Choji told them.
"Are you sure?" Shikamaru asked his friend.
"Yes I am, now go!" Choji answered and Daisuke and the others jumped off as Choji popped a soldier pill in his mouth.
"Where the hell is Jirōbō? It shouldn't take this long for him to deal with that leaf trash," Sakon said as he, Tayuya and Kidōmaru jumped through the trees.
"You don't think that they managed to beat him," Tayuya said.
"Don't think like that you little fool," Kidōmaru snarled at her as several kunai flew past them with explosive tags attached to them which exploded sending the trio flying in different directions Tayuya landed on a branch isolated from her team when she heard a noise and two shuriken flew towards her but they passed her and she smirked until she was thrown into a tree and the shuriken spun around her and she saw they had ninja wire between them.
"Fuck!" she swore before she saw Daisuke land in front of her, her Mangekyo Sharingan blazing. Tayuya immediately looked away and curse marks began to move over her skin. "That won't work!" she shouted. Flashing through a series of handsigns, Tayuya slammed her hand on the tree branch beneath her. "Summoning!" Three ogre-like monsters appeared in between her and Daisuke. Tayuya drew a flute and began to play.
The first one hurled itself at Daisuke and swung its club downwards, easily demolishing the branch she stood upon and forcing her to leap backwards. Daisuke immediately dodged to the side as the second ogre hurled a powerful punch at her. Sharingan spinning, she predicted the third's path and quickly substituted with a nearby log. "FIRE STYLE: FIRE SHOT!" she shouted, and blew fire at the ogres that exploded. When the smoke cleared, the ogres were mostly unharmed with superficial burns only, and Daisuke gritted her teeth.
"You can't beat me brat!" Tayuya taunted. The three ogres moved to surround Daisuke, making her grit her teeth. A glance showed that Sasuke's container had moved out of sight.
"I don't have time for this!" Daisuke roared. Flying into the air, her Mangekyo Sharingan flared. "AMATERASU!" Black flames engulfed the ogres, causing them to disappear with bursts of smoke.
"You bitch," Tayuya snarled.
For her part, Daisuke had fallen to one knee, panting. That had taken way too much chakra, combined with her earlier Watatsumi and her not being fully recovered to begin with, she knew that if she wanted to have any energy left after this she would have to refrain from any chakra-heavy jutsu. Seeing that her vision was a little blurry, Daisuke rubbed her eyes and put it out of her mind. "I'm probably just getting tired," she told herself.
Tayuya's curse mark spread even further until her skin was grey. Two horns emerged from her head and her eyes turned yellow while her red hair paled to orange. The angry Sound ninja put away her flute charged towards Daisuke who stood up, whistling a soft tune in the process. Daisuke pulled out a shuriken.
"NINJA ART: SHADOW SHURIKEN!" she shouted, and the single weapon turned into a dozen at they flew at Tayuya and ended up moving straight through her. "Genjutsu," she thought, and with a burst of chakra to her eyes it broke. Daisuke barely managed to sway out of the way of a punch that would have laid her flat on the ground. "How did you catch me in a genjutsu with my Sharingan on?"
"You Uchiha think you're so great," Tayuya growled and she through a combination of punches at Daisuke who used her Sharingan to predict each blow and block. The red-headed Sound ninja was not particularly skilled in taijutsu, but no elite of Orochimaru completely lacked in any area, and her 2nd level curse seal greatly boosted her physical attributes. "But you're just as vulnerable to sound based genjutsu as anyone else." With that, Tayuya resumed whistling. Daisuke was forced to pause for a moment as she flared her chakra again only to receive a punch to her face, sending her flying backwards where she barely managed to land on her feet.
Unfortunately, Tayuya was still whistling and Daisuke forced more chakra to her eyes to break it, seeing Tayuya's position move a few feet to her left before Daisuke's vision shifted again. "She's constantly applying the genjutsu over and over to anyone who hears her whistle," she realized. "It's just distracting enough to give her the edge. EARTH STYLE: SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT BOULDER JUTSU!" Her weight reduced, Daisuke managed to keep her distance from Tayuya even as she continually dispelled the sound genjutsu.
"Get back here!" Tayuya yelled, breaking her whistling for a moment.
"Yeah yeah," Daisuke muttered. "I need to get rid of her, but my ranged techniques that I'm willing to use aren't working, and her damn whistling helps her close up. If only there was a way to stop her… of course!" Daisuke exclaimed. "Ear plugs."
No sooner had Daisuke decided this than Tayuya lost her patience. "WATER STYLE: WATER BULLET!" Tayuya yelled, and she spat a sphere of compressed water at Daisuke who barely managed to dodge. As it was, the branch she stood on was blasted apart, forcing Daisuke to fall to the ground. She ripped some cloth off of her pants and tied them into a makeshift ear plug.
"Will have to do," she decided before dodging another water bullet. Daisuke charged at Tayuya who moved into a stance and began whistling again. This time, unable to hear the sound, the female Uchiha was able to fight without distraction. While the fighting was fierce and Daisuke was unable to match Tayuya's raw power granted to her by the cursed seal, she was by far superior in taijutsu and quickly began to overwhelm Tayuya. A front punch saw Tayuya move to meet it with her own, but Daisuke swayed to the side and slammed a knee into Tayuya's torso before taking a step back to avoid Tayuya's other fist.
Daisuke slid past Tayuya and caught her in a choke hold. Tayuya immediately began fighting it, but she forgot who she was fighting and turned to glare into Daisuke's eyes. The Sound ninja's eyes immediately widened with horror, but the damage was done and even as the female Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan flared, Tayuya felt a sleep genjutsu overcome her. "Fuck…..you," she managed to say before fully falling asleep. Daisuke quickly tied Tayuya up before jumping off after her team. Soon she reached Naruto and Shikamaru.
"Where are Neji and Kiba?" she asked them.
"Neji stayed behind to fight that six armed guy and Kiba is fighting that other one," Shikamaru answered.
"Then why are we still jumping? Where's Sasuke?"
"Another guy named Kimimaro showed up and he took Sasuke's basket before we could grab it," Naruto answered.
"Damn it!" Daisuke swore as she and the others picked up the pace. Soon they all came upon a large clearing to see a boy standing beside the basket. He had white hair and wore a loose shirt and a purple rope that was tied around his waist.
"Hey!" Naruto shouted as he, Daisuke, and Shikamaru landed on the ground.
"Sasuke!" Daisuke shouted as she ran for the basket only for the boy to jump in front of her and kick her back. "Give him back!"
"Foolish girl, Sasuke Uchiha is to be the next vessel of Lord Orochimaru and I will not allow some Leaf trash to stop him from reaching my master," Kimimaro told them.
"Vessel? What the hell do you mean by vessel?" Daisuke asked him.
"There is no point in explaining. You will be dead soon enough," he answered as two bone like swords grew out of his hands.
"There is no way I will let Sasuke become that paedophile's new pair of clothes," Daisuke snarled.
"You will have no say in the matter," Kimimaro told her.
"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto shouted and dozens of clones appeared surrounding Kimimaro.
"Interesting, but if you truly think that will be enough….then you are sorely underestimating you opponent," he told Naruto.
"Let's take him," Daisuke said, and Naruto and Shikamaru nodded. Suddenly the basket which Sasuke was in suddenly began to smoke and it exploded and Sasuke stood there with his back turned to Daisuke, Naruto and Shikamaru. His hair had somehow become longer and darker.
"Sasuke, is that you?" Daisuke asked him but he did not reply. "Sasuke, why are you being silent, we can go home and forget this ever happened," she told him but Sasuke began to laugh before he jumped off.
"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted as he jumped after him but Kimimaro kicked him away.
"Naruto, Shikamaru. Can you hold him off?" Daisuke asked them and both looked towards her. "I'll go after Sasuke, I'm the only one who could match him if it does come to a fight." Unspoken was the fact that Daisuke was relatively low on chakra and stamina.
"Be safe," Naruto told her, and Daisuke nodded as she crouched and the ground beneath her rippled and shook. Kimimaro watched on in confusion before he saw Daisuke fly high into the air and she move after Sasuke.
"Hey pal, your fight's with us!" Naruto told him.
"Very well, it's not like your friend will catch Sasuke in time," he replied before he charged towards Shikamaru and Naruto.
Meanwhile Sasuke jumped through the forest and he then arrived at a large valley where two large stone statues stood across from one another. One was of the First Hokage Hashirama Senju, and the second one was of Madara Uchiha. Sasuke landed on the Madara Uchiha head and was about to walk off when he heard a shout.
"SASUKE!"
