Here's another short chapter BUT it comes with another change of perspective. I promise that there will be some much needed BBxRae next chapter. Also, I've decided to start on a new writing project. In order to improve my writing, I'd love to write some one shots and drabbles for you! So PM me (Or ask me on Tumblr) anything from one word prompts to full fledged ideas of any pairing and I'll make it happen. Stories will go up on here and most likely on my tumblr. .com. Again, thank you times a million for favoriting/following/reviewing. R/R.~ Love, Sam.

Lost
"Jealousy shall be called assurance and all preparation overthrown."
On a good day, Slade Wilson liked to call himself a patient man.
Today was not a good day.
He was sitting in a wrought iron chair outside a small cafe at the corner of 5th and Main, one polished leather shoe propped up on the opposing knee in order to at least appear as if he was nothing but nonchalant.
But those five stupid kids hadn't showed up yet, and it was fifteen minutes past their meeting time.
Slade's hand tightened on his fifth cup of coffee. In a few seconds, his knuckles were as white as the porcelain cup before him.
"I swear to-"
The words had just slipped from his lips when he saw them. Even in civilian clothes, the H.I.V.E. Five were an easily recognizable bunch. But Slade supposed that was what he got for dealing with a group of juveniles.
"Sit. You're late."
Wide eyed, they plopped down into their chairs in silence.
"I have a job for you."
Jinx rolled her bubblegum pink eyes and Slade had to remind himself for the fifty seventh time that morning why he needed their help.
Robin.
It was all for Robin. To bring him down. To defeat him. To break him.
Clearing his throat, Slade continued, resting his elbows on the table. Almost immediately, all the members of the H.I.V.E. did the same.
"I need you to make Robin believe that his girlfriend is being unfaithful. Jinx, do you have a spell that could make you appear to be Starfire?"
Jinx nodded. "And I'm assuming you want me to have a public dalliance with the enemy."
Slade allowed the corners of his lips to turn upwards. The girl was much smarter than he had originally thought. And she was much much smarter than her team. He thought he would have to explain the whole plan to the team. Robin and Starfire were the backbone of the Teen Titans. It was simple enough. Jinx would pretend to be Starfire, Robin would catch his girlfriend locking lips with a certain arrogant thief, Robin's heart would shatter, Starfire's reputation would be ruined, and the rest of their team would collapse. And somehow, Jinx had figured out all of this with one suggestive sentence.
"Very good. I have everything else covered. If you agree, there is a considerable sum of money involved."
Her response was immediate. "You have yourself a deal."
His large, calloused hand grasped her petite one. And just like that. They had themselves a deal.
Slade remained at the cafe long after the H.I.V.E. Five departed.
Eventually, he switched to decaf and settled down comfortably to watch the cars zoom past him. He had planned to spend the rest of the day doing nothing, but there was only a certain amount of time before his mind began to wander.
And he let it.
So Slade Wilson sat at the corner of 5th and Main, sipping coffee, eating scones, and reconstructing the ever exquisite face of Adeline Kane in his mind with nothing but the paraphernalia of his memories.
