Chapter 8-The Last Shot

"It's been so long." Foxy said.

"It has." Foxina replied.

"Who is she?" Vixey whispered.

"She's the greatest female pirate that ever lived." Foxy said.

"Well, are you just gonna stand there?" Foxina said.

"Oh right!" said Foxy. Vixey giggled at Foxy's distracted state.

"Once Fang pulls up beside us, don't hesitate to fire at him." Foxy said.

"Got it Capt." said said Freddy.

"Freddy, you and Tiggy, I want you to guard Foxina." Foxy said.

"No. I don't hide. I fight!" Foxina said bravely. Foxy leaned close to Vixey and whispered.

"Did I mention she's also the bravest?" Foxy said. Vixey was surprised.

"I see." Vixey said.

Fang was closing in on Foxy's new ship. Fang now knew he couldn't contain Foxy easily. He wouldn't make the same mistake again.

"I now understand that he can't be controlled. But I have a alternative." Fang said desperately.

"What is you new plan?" asked Wolfy asked.

"Yeah, what are gonna do now?" Steel also asked. Sparky and Salvage asked the same thing.

"You'll see." Fang said.

Now, they were beside each other. Foxy was about to order them to fire. But, Fang put his hand up. Signaling that he did not come to fight. Foxy was shocked. Fang would have not hesitated to shoot.

"I do want to fight. Only a truce, a little discussion." Fang said, shocking his crew.

"What do you want now?" Foxy confronted him.

"If you and I remain enemies, nothing good will come out of it." Fang stated. Foxy didn't believe anything.

"I know you Fang. You don't do this." Foxy said back. Fang snapped. He knew he couldn't get through to him.

"Alright then. If thats how you want it, don't blame me for what happens!" Fang yelled. No one saw the bullet coming. Everything seemed to stop. Everyone turned and saw Goldie, falling to the ground, with a bullet wound straight through his heart.

Freddy collapsed beside him in tears. Everyone else was shocked. Foxy turned, Fang pointed the pistol at Vixey.

"NO!" Foxy yelled. Foxy quickly pulled out his pistol and didn't hesitate. He pulled the trigger. Fang moved out of the way and the bullet hit Salvage dead in the center of his head.

Cannon fire now was the only sound going through the air. Bullets and cannon balls flew through the air. Foxina suddenly ripped out 2 pistols and started shooting while she was running to get behind anything for cover.

"Fire fire fire!" yelled Foxina. Everyone began to fire using pistols and cannons. Below deck, Chica, Bonnie and Clyde were firing the cannons.

"Fire!" Fang yelled. Suddenly, 5 other pirates sprang up and began firing with pistols on Fangs ship. Now, it was evenly matched. Then a sound of a boarding plank hit the ship. Foxy saw five pirates coming across the large plank of wood towards their ship.

"We must fight!" Foxy said, springing up and pulling out his sword. Foxina and Vixey shortly followed. Tiggy and Freddy joined them. They each took a pirate to take out. Vixey's fight ended with her slicing the pirate's throat. Foxina's ended with a bullet in the back of the guys head. Tiggy helped Vixey with her fight. Foxy helped Foxina with her's since her knocked her pistol out her hand. Foxy knocked the other pirates sword out his hand and they both stabbed him. Tiggy had swirled around and twisted his arm while Vixey drew her sword deep into his chest. Then they looked over to Freddy. At that last swing Freddy made, the pirate grabbed his sword and yanked it out his grip. Foxy enveloped the greatest anger he ever imagined.

Freddy now had a sword through his stomach.

"NOOOO!" Foxy yelled like never before. He charged at the pirate. Foxy punched him in the face and ending with by putting the pistol to his face. He circled around.

"FANG! STOP THIS MADNESS!" Foxy screamed.

"You caused this!" Fang yelled back in the mist of the cannon fire. Foxy then took matters into his own hands.

He began to cross the plank himself. Fang saw that he finally had Foxy right where he wanted him. He stood up. Ordering his men to cease fire.

He too, began to walk among the plank. They met half way. Swords at the ready. Now they were fighting. Left, right, up, down, forward, backward, blocking, the fight went on for what seemed like forever. Foxy's crew had their pistols aimed at Fang. Foxy swung hard at Fang, the impact to his sword made Fang stumble for a bit, but continued fighting.

"I don't want to watch." Vixey said. Bonnie comforted her. Tiggy, Chica, and Clyde attended to Freddy and Goldie.

"Goldie, if it gets to much to bare, use this." Tiggy said. She handed him a pistol. Goldie knew what she was doing. She didn't want him to suffer. Goldie of course didn't want to go through anymore pain. She did the same to Freddy. Goldie didn't accept it. Instead he used it, for the final shot to end it all.

Foxy was beginning to struggle with Fang. Before he knew it, Fang had knocked Foxy's sword out of his hands. Fang kicked Foxy's legs out from underneath him. Foxy fell on the plank at the mercy of the end of Fang's blade.

"After 19 years, this is how our feud ends. With you at my feet. Now, tell me Foxy. Do you fear death?" Fangs said as he raised his sword up high. Foxy braced for his death.

"Do you?!" yelled Goldie. Fang looked over.

A gunshot filled the air. Fang felt a pain sere through his chest. He looked down. His fur, now stained with his blood. He looked up at Goldie. Goldie had dropped the gun and fell over, dead. Fang realized that he was dying. He fell backward. Sparky, Steel, and Wolfy ran to pick him up. The plank was then tossed in the water.

"WE'LL COME BACK!" Sparky yelled at them.

"I'll wait." Foxy said. This day had settled their differences forever. But, Foxy knew what Fang was like. There would be followers in his place. But none would be like him.

Fang The Pirate Wolf.

The feud was settled.
