HEYYYYYY! I'm back aren't you happy?! I know it's been a minute but being a senior in high school is actually much harder than people tell you or think. I'm constantly busy and with work on top of that I haven't paid much attention to this story or my others. But I feel it's time to give you guys the next chapter and stop inflicting pain on you. So without further ado here is chapter 12!

(Not gonna happen you'll figure it out as you keep reading)

"Fang where are you dragging me to?!" Max laughed as I pulled her along behind me.

"Don't worry about it you'll love it when we get there."

"I don't like surprises,"

"Well hanging out with me you're gonna be getting a lot of them so get over it."

She sighed but continued to follow me (not like she had a choice). As you guys know we all went to the beach and well Max and I snuck away to get a little "alone time" I want to show her my favorite place on earth this spot should really be added as the 8th wonder of the world.

"Are we there yet?"

"No"

"How about now?"

"No"

"Now?"

"Max I swear to-"

"Hey you are not supposed to swear!"

"I'm about to kill you."

"So is that why you dragged me out here? To get me alone so you could end my life?!"

"Max-"

"No I don't want to hear your excuses!"

"Max-"

"What?!"

"We're here,"

"Oh well took you long enough I thought we were never going to get there and WOW!"

She finally looked up to see where we are her eyes as big as saucers trying to take it all in. "Fang this… wow this is just amazing." She breathed.

We are standing at the edge of a waterfall surrounded by trees and all kinds of wild life the view looks over the world really the sun shining over us; it's kind of what I imagine the opening to heaven to look like.

Max smiled tugging on my arm snapping me back to reality. "Can we jump?"

I frowned. "Max I haven't jumped this since I was 10 it's a hard jump you can easily get wiped out and hurt or worst."

"Well then," Max stepped in front of me and wrapped my arms around her waist. "You'll just have to jump with me then."

I smirked down at her as she looked up at me with her big brown eyes and wrapped my arms tighter around her. "Fine but don't say I didn't warn you."

And with that I picked her and launched us off the cliff. We hit the water with such force I almost dropped Max. As we slid down the water at extremely unsafe and dangerous speeds Max screamed at the top of her lungs clinging to me for dear life. All I could do was laugh I haven't done this in years! My parents wouldn't let me (this was after I broke my arm in our tree). Flash backs of my family enjoying our family outings flooded my mine I wish I could have that again.

But maybe I can with Max, or at least something close to it I refuse to marry her I barely know the girl!

"FANG!" Max hollering my name shattering my god damn ear drum snapping me back to reality just in time to see the giant rock placed very inconveniently at the bottom of the water that we just so happened to be headed right for!

"Shit! Hold on!" I shimmied over slightly to the left where a bigger opening between the side of the waterfall and the giant rock was. Hopefully we would have a better chance at not completely smacking the rock with our bodies.

I then reached an arm out to grab an upcoming branch hanging from a nearby tree I pulled as hard as I could almost affectively dislocating my shoulder as the rest of my body was forced to continue forward. But I got what I wanted, us being turned around so my back would hit the rock in case we couldn't squeeze by.

Max was still hollering at the top of her lungs as I braced for impact from either the rock or the water. My grip on Max tightened even more if possible as we bucked letting me know we had about 15 seconds until I came in contact with something. 3 2 1

BANG!

The whole left side of my back smashed against the rock possibly taking some skin as the currents violently push us off and dropping us into the bottom of the water like a dead fish. Pain doesn't even begin to describe what I'm feeling right now I might possibly have cursed but before I could even wince we hit the water affectively causing me even more suffering.

I had lost my grip on Max and had no Idea where she was or if she was ok all I know is that I felt paralyzed and slowly sinking to the bottom of the river as the current pushed and thrashed me around. I could feel my lungs cries and pleas for oxygen but I couldn't move (freely that is). I can't believe that with all I have been through this was how I was gonna die not to mention the irony as I was on my high school swim team for all four years.

As the current started to pick up and my vision darkening I felt something grab my arm and pull but the darkness was fast approaching the light that somehow managed to squeeze by was fading as I heard the faint call of my name. My only regret? Being a porn star.

"Fang!"

"FANG!"

My eyes shot open and instantly melted at the bright light, my lungs compressed together causing me to sit up and choke out all the water in them to make room for air.

"Fang oh thank god you're ok! I was so scared!" I was instantly pulled into a hug by a warm figure my eyes still adjusting to the sudden brightness. I shivered and sneezed causing another coughing fit.

"Oh my god we have to get you the hospital your lips are blue! Can you hear me Fang?" I looked up at my savior to see none other than Max soaking wet herself and crying.

"No hospital," I mumbled snuggling closer to her to steal some of her warmth.

"Fang your back looks like it's been attacked by some kind of wolf!"

"S just a scratch,"

She sighed but let it go knowing I was not going to a damn hospital even if I was a little out of it.

"Thank you," It was so low of a whisper I almost didn't hear it.

I pulled away to look her in the eyes, "For wha?"

"You saved me if you hadn't turned us around I would have gotten hit and I… probably would have died…" I could tell this was hard for her to admit she's always so strong and stubborn to say that she more than likely wouldn't have made it is shocking especially for her.

"I should be thanking you; you pulled me out of the water by yourself against a raging current and performed CPR. You're amazing Max and I owe you my life you're the bravest and strongest person I know." I know that was very uncharacteristic for me but because of her I get to go home to my girls.

Her tears increased even more as she pulled me in for another hug.

I wrapped my arms around her stroking her hair when I thought of something and chuckled.

Max pulled back, "What?"

"Nothing it's just this has to be the worst best first date I have ever had."

She smiled her breathtaking smiled nodding and wiped at her eyes. "I couldn't agree more,"

I sighed and stood up bringing her with me, "How mad do you think they will be when we get back?"

"My guess we'll be hearing about this for at least a month… or until we do something else that will piss them off."

"Well mind as well get this over with." I took her hand and began leading her to the only path way down here that leads back to the beach only to get stopped by a shot of pain coursing through my back.

"AH shit!"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah my back just hurts like hell," I groaned walking again.

"When we get back I'll need to disinfect it and wrap it."

"Oh great so it can hurt even more,"

"At least it won't get infected."

I sighed, "The struggle."

Ok so there you go this was just a little something to get me back into the flow of writing again I'm not all that happy with it but I'm a little rusty. As always R&R!
