I felt like doing a cheesy oneshot for Gai. I hope you enjoy, and I do not own Naruto.
Another sigh left my lips as my boyfriend continued to scream at Kakashi, his bitter rival. He was challenging him to a game of Rock Paper Scissors (a game that Gai was awful at.)
"Gai, we were supposed to go to dinner 30 minutes ago!" I yelled angrily at the jumpsuit clad man as he lost yet again.
"I will have to reschedule for later Aya! I have to run around Konoha 400 times!" He said determinedly before sprinting away at top speed.
"Gai!" I screamed but he was already off doing his crazy punishment.
Something in me snapped at that point. I didn't care that my boyfriend loved to train when I first started dating him, but the further we progressed in the relationship the more distant he became. He never wanted to hang out, or even have lunch with me. I was furious, but I also wanted to figure out what was wrong with our relationship.
"Aha I got it!" I grinned at Kakashi, who was staring at me confused, before taking off in the opposite direction of him.
"I can see why those two are perfect for eachother." Kakashi sighed before going back to his book.
~Time Skip~
I was hiding behind a tree, a sly grin on my face as I waited for my prey. Soon Gai came into my field of sight and was running towards my hiding place. Before he could pass, my arm shot out and as I clotheslined him. Gai fell to the ground and tried to catch the breath that was just knocked out of him.
"Hello Gai, I have something I need to talk about with you." I purred before pinning the man to the ground.
"H-hello Aya!" Gai said nervously.
"Now now Gai is that how you treat your girlfriend?" I pouted before leaning down and capturing his lips in a kiss.
Gai's face turned a bright red and tentatively he kissed back, but would not go any farther than a shy peck. Frustration filled me and a stronger determination set in.
"Gai, why don't you want our relationship to go any farther?" I mumbled against his lips.
Gai pulled away from my me and stared up into my sad eyes. A deeper blush set in as he started mumbling to himself. He was acting nothing like his usual confident self, but it made me feel special to see a different side of him.
"I... I have never had a relationship before. I know what you are thinking, how can a handsome man like myself not be in a relationship, but women always turned me down. Since I don't have experience though, I thought you would leave me." Gai said pitifully.
I stared at him for a moment before bursting into laughter. "Gai, I like you for who you are not for the 'experience' you have." I leaned down and kissed him again.
"So, wanna finish your laps and go get dinner?" I said while getting off of my boyfriend.
A big grin set on his face as he jumped up into his 'nice guy' pose. "Let's add another 100!" He exclaimed while taking off. I sighed, but grinned and shot off after him
