Chapter 13

Interviewing Ethan.

"Welcome back everyone, welcome back!" I declare proudly. "Excuse my behaviour before the break! I'm better now! Now Shiego, you sent a little question for me to answer, and the reason I went red is because I felt to awkward to answer Marshall's question! And so, enough of talking about me! Ethan is now beside me now y'all."

Everyone cheered and gave wolf whistles as Ethan waved at them.

"Sup party people?" He declared with a big smile as his crazy hair bobbed every time he looked one way to the other. I smile at him as the claps continued.

"Okay Ethan," I began. "Firstly, I welcome you to the show. And I just want to point out you have the same name as my cousin!"

Ethan grinned. "Really?" He said. "Awesome-sauce!"

I nod. "Really," I confirm. "Now, I have questions from my fellow authors, and viewers they would like you to answer. If you don't want to answer a certain question, just say 'pass'."

"What if you wanna find out too?" He asked. Apparently, Sid's family were complaining about me behind stage, mostly about the fact I wouldn't let them leave certain questions cold. Ethan seemed a little worried, but I assured him it's very unlikely I'll do so to him, which made him calm down a little.

" So, our first question is from Frostpinkloverfr," I begin. I look at the paper again, "oh." I say slowly.

"'Oh' what?" Asked Ethan.

"It's... not a question... it's more of a lecture... it says; So Ethan, I know you're like dating peaches now but when you were first shown in huge movies you were kinda a jerk. I mean, trying to change peaches? If my boyfriend ever did that I'd slap him across the face until it was red on one side, and pale on the other."

Ethan's eyes widened slightly. "O-o-o-o-o-k-k-k-k-a-a-a-a-y-y-y-y?" He said awkwardly.

I smile at him, before saying the next question.

"DonThe...Better...Hero asks; Ethan; Who do you think is the real Hero? Me or 'Mr. Look-at-me-im-the-coolest-guy-out-there-because-i'm-the-security-man'." I cover my mouth before looking over at DonTheHero. He seemed a little surprized himself.

"Who in the world is that?" He declared. I looked at Ethan with seriousness in my eyes.

"Think long and hard on this one Ethan." I say helpfully. Ethan nodded, and glanced at DonTheHero, before stuttering that it was obviously the security guard. I gave him a quick thumbs up before announcing that Vampire lover had questions.

"So Vamp's first question is; 1. What do you think about shira and Diego?"

Ethan shurgged.

"I think their awesome. You know, with all the fighting and such. I ask if they can teach me, but they say it's a feline's thing." He answered.

"I'm sure they are," I reply with a chuckle. "Now Question 2 and 3 are pretty much the same but worded differently. 2. When you first met Shira how did you feel? And 3. Do you think Shira is hot?"

Ethan swallowed hard.

"I can't say anything like that in public!" He exclaimed. "And I have no feelings now or when Shira first arrived, I just saw her as one of us, and nothing else. I am in a relationship if you must know!"

"We all know by now!" I say. "Anyways AJB asked; How long has it been since you've played turtle football?"

Ethan thought deeply on this subject.

"Hm... well... I'm guessing... since yesterday?"

I tilt my head.

"What about during the break?" I ask. "I could've sworn I saw you, Shaw, and Jade, along with other boy mammoths playing in the car park."

Ethan chuckled awkwardly. "You... saw that?"

I nod, "But I'm not gonna yell at you or anything. I actually wanted to join! But let's just leave that along and move on quickly. 2. When almost hurting Peaches about her family being 'part-possum', how did you feel afterwards?"

"I felt really bad," he answered. "And then considered it awesome! All those cool and crazy moves she did in battle! I wanted to learn that! "

"You're not the only one buddy!" I comment. "So question 3. Do you get girls by playing turtle football or just for your on styles?"

"I keep being told by styles, but I feel it's because of turtle football." He said, looking like he was reflecting deeply. I suggested it was both, and it made him laugh and thank me for the compliment. I smiled and then continued to ask the question.

SirCreepington9th asked; 1: How in the world do you do to make your hair like that?"

"All you need is a bit of tree sap, a bit of skill, and there you have it!" He said simply. "Does that answer the question?"

"I'm sure it does!" I agree. "Question 2: Any girlfriends before Peaches?"

Ethan rolled his eyes towards the ceiling. "Yes... I went out with Steffie and Katie, but then both didn't work out. They both wanna be with me again but I don't want to so... yeah..."

I stared that him. "That's it?!"

Ethan looked at little offended.

"Uh yeah that's it." He replied. "Did you think there was more?"

"Hell yeah! I just assume because you seem that kinda boy you know?"

Ethan stopped, and then thought about it. "Well... you got that right... I get that stereotypical comment a lot." He said slowly.

"Question 3: Can you sign this for SirCreepington9th's, sister? " I ask, and I put a picture of himself in front of him. Ethan picked it up and wrote his name on it, and passed it back to me. I gave it to one of the stage assistants, and they went to send it to the post office.

"And he left a quick and quiet warning: Don't ever hurt or break Peaches' heart or you'll have Manny and him to deal with..." I say, smiling at him innocently. Ethan nodded, looking a little scared. "And I am guessing you as well?" he asked

I nod, putting up three fingers, a centimetres in front of my face. "So make that three people to be worried about. Manny, Sircreepington, AND me. So watch your actions mister!" I warn.

"Yes mom." He said with a grin, making everyone laugh. I laughed too and asked the next question;

"Shiego627 asked Ethan are you and Louis bros now?"

"Absolutely!" He said, fist pumping the open air in front of him with his trunk. I fist pump it too, and then we fist pumped together.

"LionLover23 asked; Do you think Manny won't like you if you date Peaches?"

"Well... I am now..."

"Yes we get that now," I said hastily. "But does he like you or not?"

"He expects me to treat her like a Queen, and of course I am! I love her!"

"He is definitely gonna be watching you now that she is with child right?"

Ethan nodded and smiled awkwardly while the audience cheered and clapped. Even DonTheHero was clapping and mouthing; "Good job buddy!" or "See you at your funeral!" That last one made him spin around and look for the ones who said it, but I soon restrained him.

"Bet Manny was set to kill you there and then once he found out." I predicted. I meant it in a joke kind of way, and was afraid that Ethan wouldn't see it like that, but he nodded with a smile.

"Absolutely, he was ready to eat my head, but luckily he isn't a spider so he couldn't." He said.

"Well he could easily squash you flat." I point out before looking at my viewers questions. "TimberPaw asked; 1. How is your relationship with Manny?" I look at him. "Scale of 1 to 10? Good? Bad?"

Ethan tilted his head from side to side.

"We're cool... still scared of him... but cool..."

"No we're not!" Shouted the familiar voice from back stage. I sprang up and looked at the entrance to back stage, while there were laughs escaping from everyone in the audience.

"Oi! Manny! Stop fartin' about and get back into the green room! It's Ethan's turn now! You'll unsettle him!"

We all heard him clomping back down the hall, before Ethan asked DonTheHero to go down and make sure he stayed there, in the nicest, and most politest way possible. DonTheHero nodded, and strolled down the hall, whistling like a boss once he came back in, saying there was nothing for Ethan to worry about. The mammoth nodded, but he still wasn't fully convinced.

"Alright, question 2. Do you think, you are the hottest mammoth out there?"

Ethan shrugged.

"I dunno." He replied. "I am told yes... but there are nicer looking people out there you know?"

I nod in agreement.

"So question 3," I say. "Which are your favorite animals you hang out together?"

"Well there are my mammoth friends, Peaches, Louis, Katie, Steffie, Shaw, and of course Super J."

"I thought she pet-name was Jammy J.J?"

Ethan shook his head.

"Not to me it's not," he answered. "I always called her Super J."

"O, okay," I say, " So question 4, what actually means 'peaches' for you?"

"It means having a wonderful girlfriend who I really care about and swear to cosset from anyone or anything. I love her and I am willing to do anything for her."

I place a hand on my heart, thinking that was the cutest thing I had ever heard of. I gave a silent 'aw' as the audience did it a little louder.

"That is so cute!" I declare like an excited little girl. "I love relationships like that! Well, continuing with the question, the warrior405 asked: Ethan how does it feel knowing you're going to be a father?"

"Amazing! I can't believe I'm gonna be a dad!" I smile at his excitement. "Well good luck with the new babe when he or she comes along. Anyway DonTheHero asked; 1. Would you ever leave your group for any reason?"

Ethan thought deeply. "Hm... if there was any reason I would it would have to be if they were dissing Peaches for any reason at all, or if they were annoying me about something idiotic."

"I would be the same! So question 2. When you first met Peaches what did you think? He also added, 'Think about this carefully, I can't protect you from a ticked off Manny, Peaches, or Ellie'."

I look at him with with a dramatic face. "He wouldn't be able to protect you from me either! I'm right in front of you so i can reach you before they do!"

"Okay! Okay!" Ethan said quickly. "I thought she was kind and friendly when I first met her. I didn't mind if she hung around with us, it was Steffie and Katie who a chatty about anyone, or anything."

I wasn't satisfied, even though I saw the truth in his eyes, but I decided to leave it and continue, seeing that we didn't have many questions left.

"Well question 3. What were your thoughts when you first met Savannah then, when she became Jade? And he added that the warning are similar to the previous one." I say, looking up at him as soon as I was finished reading it.

"Hm... well, at first I was little nervous because I had no idea what sort of creature Savannah was. I knew I had to be nice to her and make her feel welcome. We're best friends now, and I see her as a really friendly person, the sort I like hanging around with."

I nod, before thinking; then why do you hang around with Steffie and Katie then?"

"Well our last questions are from... Sexy Mammothgirl." I say slowly. "She says; Hey there handsome! I have some questions for ya!"

I could see that Ethan was feeling slightly awkward, causing the audience to laugh loudly.

"Her first question is; What is your greatest fear?"

"Being stalked by other mammoths! Before we started going out, Katie wouldn't leave me alone! Forever by my side, asking me when we were gonna go out again. She was nuts man! But at least she not as nuts now."

"Question 2. If you had three wishes what would you wish for?"

Ethan grinned. "I know what I'd wish for!"

"Alright," I say, holding up three fingers. "What are you gonna wish for? I'm gonna count down. So number 1 and why? number 2 and why? And number 3 and why?"

"Number 1: Spend the rest of my life with Peaches because she is the love of my life and I want no one else. Number 2: Continue to play turtle football, even if i'm old and rickety because it's my favorite sport. And number 3: Let this interview go on and on forever because it's awesome!"

I grinned at the last one, and of course I shook my head at the second one because I thought it was a little silly, but hey! They say YOLO for a reason, for those who believe it.

"Question 3 is: What do you look for in a girl?"

"Everything that's in Peaches."

"You mean... a baby?" I asked. This cause everyone to think the same thing, and laugh a little.

"No not like that! Everything that Peaches truly is. Her personality is amazing and she doesn't care how she looks... most of the time. I'm proud to be the dad of her child."

I nod in agreement, feeling stupid about what i said before.

"So moving on to our final question: Who do you think is the MOST beautiful girl mammoth on the planet?" I look at him. Ethan just shrugged.

"No need to answer that!" He said.

"Absolutely! Well I'm afraid wish number 3 can't be conjured Ethan. My next guest is coming out soon. Ethan the Mammoth everyone!"

Everyone cheered as they cheered Ethan walking off stage.

"Peace out people!" He announced, and he was gone.

"What an awesome guy!" I declare. "Now, send in the rest of your questions everyone! The lady herself, Peaches is coming out next!"
