Chapter 19

Interviewing Jade and the triplets

"Hello everyone! And wel-come- back! Today we will meet my four OC's- Jade, Teal, Cody, and Shamrock! Come on out guys!" Jade and the triplets came out with big smiles as everyone clapped and cheered. Jade made sure the triplets trotted their way to the chair. I gave each of them a little pat on the head and a helping hand up onto the chair they were sharing, and then gave Jade a big hug.

"Hello Jade!" I say over the cheering.

"Hello Cookie!" She replied as we both take our seats.

"This is the first time you and me have actually spoken!" I point out.

"I know it's so weird! I finally get to meet the girl who made me exist in the Ice Age!" Jade and I grinned at each other in an almost crazy way. Soon we crossed our eyes and stuck out our tongues, almost forgetting that we were having an interview.

"That's a great way to duisguise 'the birds and the bees'," I winked at the audience, who laughed before i was allowed to continue. "So we have questions from our viewers for you and the cubs!" I waved the cards in front of the four felines. "If you want to answer, just say so! And if not, just simply say 'pass'."

"Sounds great! Let's get going!" Jade looked at her little brothers, who were just lookin' around dumbfounded. As far as I remembered, they never had an interview yet. I take a look at the first card.

"Shiego627 asked Jade: Which side do you have the most Shira or Diego?"

"In all honesty I'm still trying to find out that myself! I know I have my mom's fur color and my dads eyes and everything- but when it comes to personality... perhaps you can help me Cookie?"

"Sure," I smile and look towards the audience. "When I spent those days deciding who Jade would be after the truth came out, I decided she would have both Shira and Diego's IQ level, which are both pretty high in my opinion, and then when it came to skills and secret planning, she has Shira's genes for that one,and has Diego athletic levels."

Jade giggled. "That answers the question!"

"Indeed! Now for the triplets; who are your favorite uncles and aunties, please give one of each triplet..." I blinked before averting my gaze towards Jade. "I create these little guys too- and I know that they don't talk that much."

"Yes," said Jade. "But I can tell who they like! Cody likes Manny, and he likes Sarah-Jane. Teal thinks Ethan is his uncle... and in a way, yeah he is... he loves Sarah Jane too. And then Shamrock adores Uncle Sid, but he also adores Louis, and then he has Steffie, Katie and Kiki labeled as his favorite aunties."

"Alright then, so SirCreepington9th has questions for Jade; 1. What do you look for in a male?"

Jade twitched her nose like a rabbit for a few moments. Then she smiled. "I'm into guys that... have strength, brains, has a soft spot for kids, someone who is loyal, has courage, is loving, is protective of my well being, passionate, and has style."

"Oh! Sounds like a rare guy!" I say with a heavy sigh.

"Yeah... Guys like that are usually brought and raised by a queen at heart, and not by status... and I'll will make sure my brothers are just like that to every girl their are with."

I nod as we all clap for her determination. Hopefully the triplets will turn out like she hopes... the guy she wants to have.

"Alright question 2. Could you sign this?" I placed a jade letter opener in front of her. Jade was given a marker and she signed it easily enough with her big, swish writing.

"And question 3. Is there any chance that you would go out with me?" Jade blushed deeply, and everyone caught her out and laughed which made her blush even deeper.

"Well, yes-" She cleared her throat. "If you are a Saber-tooth- or any kind of feline, and meet all the 'qualifications' I said, then you're lucky."

"Righto! That must answer his questions! No the triplets: Do you three know that you're probably the coolest characters from Ice Age, besides your sister of course?"

Jade laughed. "I'm sure they do know very well!"

I smile at the triplets, and they grinned right back, as if to understand what I said. "Moving onto our next set of questions by Angeloffdarkness. Question 1, Jade: how did you react when Peaches and Ethan told you that they were going to have a baby?"

"I wanted to scream so bad! I was so happy for them! I really was!" Jade gave a happy giggle and squeak at the same time. "I just hope I get to be the Godmother!"

"I sure would want to be!" I claimed. "But my brother isn't old enough to be a dad yet! Anyways lets go to question 2: can you please explain how they told the herd?"

Jade rolled her eyes and face palmed herself. "Don't get me started on that! Oh my gosh! They kept it secret for about a month, and then Peaches became more... obvious. Then Ellie and Manny confronted her about it, and then she knew there was no escape. At that moment she was ableto distract them and then run... she came to me at first, huh! What advice could I give her about being pregnant and how to tell her parents and the herd?!" Jade shook her head with an almost piteous chuckle. "I couldn't help her on that one, so she and Ethan had to figure out for themselves... until Manny came along and heard their conversation on the topic."

"We could only imagine how that went down." I said with a laugh. "I feel bad laughing about it! But I wish I was there! So question 3: did it hurt when you changed from a tiger to a human?"

"Oh no, no, no! I just felt really light, and then my arms grew really heavy... and then I think I was out for a few seconds. Then bam! I was human!"

"Cool! So our security guard, DonTheHero," Don waved as I gestured towards him. "Has a few questions for you. DonTheHero?"

"Yes, I do indeed! OK, so Jade, does Manny ever become over protective of you?"

"Oh yes, but only one or two occasions. My dad mostly does the protecting of me and my brothers, but Manny sees me as another daughter, so he dos tend to get protective."

"Awesome! Ok another question for you, how often do you use that book the shaman gave you?"

"Oh if she heard that you'd get a great whooping!" Jade giggled, but then she stopped. "I wasn't given a book from the shawoman... I was given my necklace... the book was by myself, I summoned it... when I had the power. I'm not bothered with it anymore,"

"Ah, my mistake." Said Don with a chuckle. He looked at the triplets, who were staring at him curiously. "Ok now for the triplets, who is the most influential person in the herd other then your parents?" He gave Jade a serious look. "I do hope its not Crash and Eddie!"

"Ok one more for the boys, what are your thoughts on knowing that your sister was once human?" The triplets just looked at Don with a look of disinterest, which made Jade chuckle, before saying, "I don't think they had any thoughts on the topic just yet..."

"Maybe in the future."

"Maybe," said Don. "Now to the four of you, if you ever run into trouble with some of the previous interviewees, let me know I'll adjust them a little bit!"

"Yes sir!" Jade saluted to him. The triplets nodded, and gave a small little 'mew' coming from them, causing the audience to coo and 'aw' all over them.

"Thanks Don, and finally our last question is from Gigigirl1908, she has a question for Jade! She says: Hi Jade! I think you are very beautiful and brave."

"Why thank you Gigigirl1908!" Jade interrupted, but then she widened her eyes, and then looked at me apologetically. "Sorry Cookie! I just had to say it!"

"That's OK, I would do the same. Anyway her question is; when you found out Shira and Diego were your parents, what was going through your head?"

Jade just shook her head and looked up to the ceiling. She let out a little laugh, but she looked like she was about to cry. "So many things were going through my head... I was questioning how it was possible, when it happened... and I realized something new, if I wasn't born in the ice age, it meant I came to the modern times, or their future. It could have happened to my brothers..." She held her brothers together with her paws as I watched the room go quiet, and eyes looking at each other, let alone Jade and her brothers.

"There is no need to think of that anymore," I said. "You're now with your family, and they have you. That's all that matters."

She gave me a smile of thanks, before I turned to my audience. "That wraps it up everyone! Jade and the triplets!"

Jade smiled and hugged me quickly before huiding her brothers out of the room, waving back to everyone as they clapped and cheered for them.

"It should end here folks!" I say. The audience stopped clapping almost immediately. "I didn't mean by the clapping! I meant by the interviews!" I picked up a card tucked behind my chair. "A view named Timber Paw asked me; Can we interview you at the end or send you some questions you have to answer? Please? Like a special mega chapter... So if y'all want to interview me about things you want to know do send them in and if we get enough there will be a one more interview! To be continued!"

And we were cut to a break.
