A/N I am so sorry about not updating sooner, it's been four months.. I have the story finished and I started the sequel. I just had a killer semester of non stop work and I didn't have time to post anything for any of my stories. But I'll try to post at least one chapter a day. These two are the ones for now. I hope you like it, and I hope you forgive me.

Sue Sylvester did not lose cheerleaders, she gained them. So when the little dollop that was Quinn Fabray came to her with tired eyes and a defeated look, quitting, she knew it wasn't because cheerios was too much for her. It had to be something else, something worse.

Sue Sylvester stomped through the halls in her signature red track suit, seeking out the man that was Will Schuester. He was the reason that her star cheerio was quitting and fading into nothingness.

"You curly haired menace." Sue Sylvester shouted, making other students jump at the sound of her shrill voice.

Will turned to her with wide eyes, "Sue, is something wrong?"

"Besides the fact that your butt chin has no diaper right now, I want to know why you're stealing my cheerios? Quinn Fabray just quit my team, but not yours?" Sue hissed in the man's face. Will backed away looking confused.

"Quinn quit?" He asked slowly, he looked concerned but Sue figured it had to be fake. She let out a low growl, "Sue I had no idea…" Will raised his hands and backed away from Sue.

"Right, like this wasn't your slimy little plan all along Curly Q?" Sue spat out, "I WILL GET REVENGE! Because you overworked Quinn, and I will get her back AND DESTROY GLEE CLUB." Sue pointed her finger into Will's stupid sweater vest.

"Sue, maybe we can all talk about this and find out why Quinn quit." Will said quickly. But he was saying it to deaf ears as Sue turned and stormed away, pushing a student into the lockers as she did so.

Will looked at his hands in his lap and then back up at the blonde girl in across from him in his office, he sighed. He didn't like that the girl had to sacrifice things because of her destiny. But at the same time, Will had to do the same thing in order to be a watcher. So he knew what it was like and knew there was no avoiding it. Will had wanted to be a broadway star. But his father and grandfather and so on all had been watcher. Now Will had been chosen to do so with this Slayer.

It had been a short amount of time but he cared about Quinn. She was a good person, and so young. Quinn was intelligent and had such potential, if she wasn't a Slayer she would have a wonderful future.

But her future was set in stone, maybe someday she could do something else but many Slayer's died young and spent their whole life Slaying. He just wanted more for her. He knew it was common for the watcher to care for the Slayer. After all it was the person who he had to look over, he felt almost parental toward the young girl in his office.

"Quinn," Will said, Quinn smiled tiredly.

"Will?" Quinn's voice was light and airy.

"I heard from Coach Sylvester that you quit the cheerios…" Will said, searching Quinn's hazel eyes for something, anything really.

"Well yeah." Quinn shrugged, "Why?"

"I don't want you to feel overwhelmed and not do the things that you enjoy Quinn. I don't want training and Slaying to...make you miserable. Your mood being down could actually affect Slaying for the worse. Why did you quit? I thought you loved cheering…" Will said.

"It was great physical exertion but now I have Slaying." Quinn said with a blink of her hazel eyes, and raising one eyebrow.

"Quinn…"

"Listen Will, I quit because it was something that just took up time. It was just about the image and I don't really care about that anymore. I feel like I can finally be myself and I wasn't really enjoying the cheerleading. Not with the stigma that would come with it every day." Quinn sighed.

"So you really wanted to quit the team?" Will furrowed his brow, trying to figure the girl out.

"I did actually, it was just so fake. I don't want to have to uphold an image now that I've...um...accepted my destiny?" Quinn furrowed her own brow, "Like...it's easier to be me."

Will sighed and nodded. He couldn't control every aspect of the young girls life, and he had to admit that without insane cheering hours, Quinn could train for her Slayer part of her life.

"If that's all…" Quinn said, she started to get up.

"We should train, and then patrol tonight." Will reminded the blonde as she jumped up, she didn't even nod as she ran out the door.

Teenagers.

Quinn walked through the halls, ignoring the surprised stares of the other students. Three days since she had quit the cheerleading team and started wearing her dainty dresses. Santana and Brittany still walked by her sides, though now Santana was head cheerleader, and very happy.

"I gots my rightful place now." Santana smirked, as she walked next to Quinn.

"You only got it because I quit Santana." Quinn smiled politely at her best friend, "I mean I could always go back."

"Stop." Brittany mumbled. Sometimes Quinn forgot that Brittany was a seer and could feel emotions, it was something she didn't like to think about. It would mean that Brittany felt her emotions when she was around Rachel. The emotions she couldn't deny.

"Sorry B." Santana purred, she immediately looked guilty and stopped in the hallway, Brittany stopped by her and the two girls were looking at each other. Santana put her arm around Brittany and started murmuring in her ear. The two looked even more in love than usual, and for some reason Quinn started to panic.

"Guys?" Quinn looked back at the two girls who were attracting even more attention to themselves, "People are staring!" Quinn hissed at her friends, they broke apart. Santana jumped from Brittany with a start and started to walk away quickly. Brittany narrowed her bright blue eyes at Quinn and scoffed.

"She was fine." Brittany said in a low voice, Quinn stared back into the seers eyes, gulping.

"Brittany, I just don't want anyone else staring at us." Quinn explained.

"But that doesn't matter because you're the Slayer, remember?" Brittany smiled and her eyes were blazing, "You're supposed to not care. If I want to hug my girlfriend in the hallway I will. After all, we wouldn't want Rachel finding out why you got kicked out...right?"

"You would out me?" Quinn asked, her heart thumping in her chest. She looked up at the seemingly innocent blonde who just laughed lightly.

"Oh, not just out you. I would probably tell the whole story of how you basically stalked her for a year. I know these things Quinnie." Brittany's voice was low, but her eyes were strangely gleeful as she walked closer to Quinn. Both blondes close enough to kiss.

"How do you even know that?" Quinn demanded backing up, she tried to glare menacingly but Brittany was still smiling, her eyes still shining.

"I am a seer, I see what they want me to see." Brittany whispered, looking down at Quinn.

"Brittany that would be mean, and you're not mean." Quinn said.

"I'm powerful, and I don't want my girl hurt. She pretends to be tough but she's not. If you do anything to hurt her or try to get it so she can't express herself freely…" Brittany trailed off, looking behind Quinn with a light smile.

"Hey guys!" The chipper voice made Quinn cringe. She turned away from Brittany and saw Rachel Berry standing in front of her.

"Rachel…" Quinn said with a tight smile. Her eyes couldn't help but rake over the brunette who was grinning at her. She wore a light pink dress with dark black flats. Her dark hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail. The dress was rather short and Quinn had to look at the ground.

"What are you two up too?" Rachel tilted her head and looked at the two blondes in confusion.

"I forgot where the lockers were." Brittany shrugged, her expression becoming vacant again.

"I, uh...yeah." Quinn nodded, she looked up at Brittany who was looking at Rachel carefully.

"Well I have to go find San. Remember Q, if you do I get my storytime!" Brittany called out as she bounded away looking very happy and innocent. Her blonde curly ponytail bouncing with every step.

"Right." Quinn mumbled.

She stood awkwardly in the hall with Rachel, wanting to say something but not sure what to say.

"I was wondering if you wanted tO practice this week's glee assignment?" Quinn asked with a small smile.

"Sure, why not?" Rachel grinned again, her teeth very white, and her lips very pink. She walked over to Quinn and linked arms with her.

"Walking me to class Berry?" Quinn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well Quinn Fabray shouldn't walk alone, the best deserve the best." Rachel said back, turning the lightest shade of pink. The halls had started emptying, and the two girls didn't notice a girl watching them from a desolate corner of the hallway.

The girl had sandy blonde hair and tan skin, her long nose crinkled as she watched Quinn Fabray, "Sure, you get to be the pretty one with all the friends, even after you quit the Cheerios," the girl had a nasally voice.

Sugar stepped out from the corner as the two girls disappeared and sneered, "but not for long Quinn. not for long."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Terri was lounging in her new home, avoiding the bright sunlight and smiling. She looked over at the girl who was standing there with a small smile herself.

"Sugar, darling, I do appreciate you keeping an eye on the Slayer for me. A powerful witch like yourself really has the ability to do what I can't during the day. I want you to make her life a living Hell." Terri grinned.

"I have some curses in the works already, my daddy helped me." Sugar smiled. Sugar was a simple girl. Her father was the richest man in Lima, and her mother was a well known wiccan in the Hell Mouth region of Lima. Sugar had the benefit of randomly being transferred to Lima, because her father could do that stuff on a whim.

"Perfect, Sugar." Terri sighed. She hated working with the youth. They were very stress inducing and she didn't want wrinkles. Well she didn't need to worry about wrinkles. But still this girl was too eager to pair up with someone she barely knew. Terri would have fun sucking the girls blood. The power the girl contained was wasted on her simple mind.

"I was thinking maybe lighting her on fire…" Sugar said, her hands on her hips.

"Hurt the ones she loves, find out who they are and one by one hurt them. I want her weak." Terri instructed the young girl, "Then when she is on her knees, we will bring in the army."

"Army?" Sugar asked, peering up at the vampire.

"Hush child, go home before I change my mind." Terri said in a tired voice. Sugar rolled her brown eyes and walked out of the room.

Brittany was the best dancer on the cheerios. She was second in command to Santana now that Quinn had quit. She was in front of the gym, trying to show the squad some moves she had come up with. Her long legs working to the beat of the music.

She felt hot all of a sudden, she heard a guttural scream and felt herself being knocked to the ground by a large force.

"BRITTANY!" Santana cried out, Brittany looked down at the latina in confusion.

"Why is it all smokey?" Brittany whispered, she looked down to see black charred sneakers and a smoking cheerleading skirt.

"You were on fire…" Santana was crying, she looked down, "Then when I ran at you the flames went out, what happened?"

Sue Sylvester was right behind Santana looking confused, "What was that? We haven't used fire since 98 when the incident happened."

"Incident?" Brittany mumbled, reeling inside her own mind as she felt confusion from Sue, concern from the squad, fear from Santana, and fear from somewhere else. She couldn't pinpoint the emotion or the person feeling it. It was strangely paired with glee and anxiety. A very dimwitted person probably.

"When I accidentally killed a cheerio by making her fly out of a cannon." Sue began explaining. Brittany cut her out of her mind and focused solely on Santana's soothing emotions.

Santana's brown eyes focused on Brittany and she held Brittany's hand and helped her up, "I'm taking her to the nurse."

"How is the nurse going to help?" Brittany asked as Santana lead her away, "I was lit on fire."

"You might have burns," Santana was dragging her and her voice sounded anxious.

"I can feel how nervous you are Santana." The blonde whispered gently.

"I'm nervous because the woman I love just randomly caught on fire." Santana snapped.

"S…" Brittany sighed again.

They had arrived at the nurses office. Brittany strode past Santana and eyed the nurse. The nurse didn't like the kids in the school and was already planning on ignoring Brittany, she could feel it.

"Ms. Kensut? I had an incident during cheer, and I may have burns?" Brittany asked, she looked at the nurse again who just sighed.

"Alright let me look." The woman said with a heavy scowl. Brittany sat down on the bench gingerly and stretched her leg out.

"I don't know how it happened…" Santana was saying, but the nurse ignored her.

"You're fine. Go back to class." Mrs. Kensut pushed Brittany's leg down and turned back to her desk.

"Fine." Brittany said, she could feel the older womans boredom and resentment, it was tiring her out so she just got up to leave. Santana hot on her heels with worry clouding around her.

"What happened B?" Santana asked, "Did you forget to put your cats lighter away again or something?"

Brittany turned to her girlfriend with a frown. She shook her head. Her cat Lord Tubbington had a bad smoking habit but she didn't like to talk about it. It was his business. Not hers.

"I think I just...had an accident." Brittany shrugged, "I don't think it matters San, I feel safe." Brittany looped her arm through Santana's and the girls both walked down the hall.

It still bothered Brittany that there was an emotion hanging around she didn't recognize, one that was purposely trying to remain hidden, but she would alert Quinn to it when she wasn't with Santana.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Sugar watched with wide eyes as Brittany Pierce spontaneously combusted, she backed away and looked around. She was a powerful witch who was capable of such a thing, but that hadn't been her. She couldn't figure out why or how, but mainly who.

The girl backed up and felt fear bubble up inside her, the flames on Brittany going out just as spontaneously. She was talking to Santana Lopez and the mean cheerleading coach. Sugar turned around and what she saw shocked her.

A very pretty asian girl was staring at her.

"Hello?" Sugar voiced nervously, recognizing the girl as Artie's girlfriend. The cute guy in the wheelchair.

"Uh hi…" Tina Cohen-Chang mumbled, her eyes darting to the ground, "I have to go."

Sugar turned and watched Tina run away.

"That girl has more power than me…" Sugar mumbled, feeling the power rumbling off of the girl, like an earthquake.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Tina hadn't meant to hurt Brittany. She really hadn't. She had been watching the cheerleader dance, she was really good. Artie had been talking a lot about her lately. Artie always did have a thing for cheerleaders.

Artie was a really nice guy, when he wanted to be. He always was smiling and ready to joke around, even if he was confined to a wheelchair. He loved that Tina could dance and sing, and they would sing together when they were alone.

But that didn't mean she hadn't noticed him checking out the tall blonde. Ever since they joined glee club Artie had been eyeing Brittany Pierce. Tina could hardly blame him. Brittany was a cornfed blonde. She was almost perfect looking. But Tina didn't like the fact that Brittany was trying to take Artie away.

She could tell. Brittany was known for sleeping around, even more than her counterpart Santana. Artie wanted in on that. Tina hadn't slept with him, and wasn't planning on it. But Brittany? She would.

Artie had started mentioning Brittany, and even comparing Tina to the blonde dancer in some not so subtle ways.

The night before had been too much for Tina.

Artie was sitting in his wheelchair, his video game controller in his lap. He looked over at his girlfriend and sighed, "You know, you could be more active woman."

"What?" Tina looked up from her homework and scrunched her brow, "I am active… I dance."

"Right but you know that club has better dancers girl." Artie said, "They could school you.."

"Well if you're referring to the cheerios, yes you're right. They probably could when it comes to some stuff." Tina shrugged, ignoring the comment.

"That Brittany can sure dance." Artie said looking over at Tina again, " she looks good too."

"I know." Tina said through clenched teeth.

"I'm just sayin." Artie shrugged and pushed his glasses up on to his face so it would be more secure.

"I'm sure you are." Tina snapped, "If you think she's hotter than me, why don't you just go bang her already?"

"I never said she was hotter than you Tina, I just want you to be all you can be. Brittany is a good dancer, and beautiful. But you're hot too." Artie shrugged.

Tina got up and started to put her books away.

"Where you goin' boo?" Artie asked with a slight frown.

"Away from you." Tina turned and stomped out the door.

So now she was watching as Brittany was dancing, graceful like a gazel, and everything she wasn't. Tina narrowed her eyes, wishing something bad would happen to the blonde, like spontaneous combustion.

That is when her legs lit on fire. Tina watched in fear, she had no idea what she did. She backed away slowly, "MAKE IT STOP!" She whispered harshly to herself, "No please, please…"

She watched the blonde cheerleader fall to the ground and Santana Lopez screaming in pain, such horrible pain, as if she was the one on fire. Santana ran so fast, Brittany was tackled to the ground and blankly staring at her legs.

"Stop." Tina said again, she closed her eyes and willed it to happen, when she opened them again she saw that Brittany was very much not on fire and looking confused. Not that the look of confusion was new.

Panicking Tina turned around and almost slammed into a small sandy haired girl with a confused look on her face. Confusion everywhere. She thought the girl had said hello but she ran before her brain could function enough to answer.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Quinn raised one eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest, "You're saying you just randomly combusted in the middle of cheerios practice?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah…" Brittany had her head down and was frowning, her ponytail twirling in her long fingers. She was wearing a pair of red and white track pants instead of the short skirt, and her letterman jacket.

"What do you want me to do about it Brittany?" Quinn's voice was cold and angry, she looked with bitterness at the blonde and shook her head, "You want me and my scoobies to figure out the mystery or something? After how you spoke to me?"

"I was protecting the person I love." Brittany said in a serene voice, "You'd do the same for Rachel, even for Santana. And I'd do it for you."

"You threatened to out me." Quinn snapped angrily, she couldn't believe that Brittany was so simple minded about these things.

"Just to Rachel, because you don't want her knowing about your lady love." Brittany said with a wicked grin, her blue eyes sparkling.

The two girls were alone in the choir room, Quinn's eyes darted to the door and then back to Brittany with a scoff, "I don't think we should even talk anymore. I don't want to deal with you being all hazy one moment, and then...just...leave."

Brittany rolled her eyes and put her hand on her hips, blonde hair tossed behind her shoulder with a thoughtful frown, "I believe that you would do it to me for Rachel, even me." Brittany stated again.

"I would do anything for you or Santana, and yes even Rachel. But that doesn't give you the right to talk to me like that." Quinn said relenting. She couldn't stay mad at the tall blonde looking at her, even if she was a little...tense sometimes.

"I have to protect her at all costs. You make her feel bad when you do things like that, she's just too proud to tell you." Brittany replied.

"I didn't do anything!" Quinn snapped, looking down at the floor.

"You cockblocked me." Brittany said with a smile on her face, she raised an eyebrow.

Quinn gulped. She was aware that she had been sort of rude in the hall that day. Santana had been quiet and withdrawn towards her ever since. Quinn hadn't done it to make Santana feel bad, she had done it because she got nervous and afraid. A small part of her was still afraid of coming out to everyone. After all being so harshly rejected by her father and not being rescued by her mother, it was still hard for her to try and smile when it came to gayness.

"I will try harder." Quinn said with a small grin, "I really didn't mean to hurt Santana."

Brittany's sharp eyes softened, "Q, it's okay. I know how hard it is to come out. I should've been nicer…"

Quinn raised an eyebrow at the tall dancer and pursed her lips.

"I just need your help with this though. I was burnt, I felt an emotion that wasn't recognizable. It was all so random." Brittany was serious now.

"I don't know what you actually want me to do…" Quinn said confused.

Brittany walked over and sat down next to Quinn, "Well I came to you because you're the slayer and this is something I can't handle alone."

"I guess we should tell Will and try to find out who the best candidate for a witch would be… I mean randomly lighting on fire...I don't know what else it could be." Quinn frowned.

"I felt a human emotion so I think it has to be a witch, and a powerful one." Brittany nodded, crossing her arms, "I don't know what they have against me though. I try not to get involved in anything. Unless it's through Santana."

"You think someone's mad at S and attacking you?" Quinn asked, alarm in her voice, "What if this witch decides to attack Santana next? Or hurt you even more?" She jumped out of her seat and looked at the dancer.

"I know. I'm not having any visions either, which scares me." Brittany said.

"I'm going to get Rachel and Finn, we'll all do some investigating. Will can help you track the person if it is a person." Quinn said quickly, she started to leave the room with Brittany following her.

"Okay, I'll go ask him...where is he?"

"The faculty room I guess." Quinn said as she ran out the door.

"Got it."

xXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Tina watched as Brittany ran into the faculty room and came out with the curly haired glee teacher. She took a deep breath and wondered why.

"Mr. Schue… I just, there was a fire." Brittany said in a hushed voice.

Tina backed against the wall and was hidden behind a large trash can as she kneeled down and waited.

"A fire?" Mr. Schue asked confused, "Brittany…"

"I lit on fire, something, or someone. It was like a witch I think." Brittany whispered urgently, "I felt their emotions, scared…"

"So you think a witch lit you on fire from a hidden place?" Mr. Schue asked.

Why would they be able to jump to that conclusion? Lima residents weren't exactly known for their dabbling in the dark arts. Or knowledge on anything that wasn't football. She crinkled her brow and looked out at them again.

"I told Quinn, she said she'd get Rachel and Finn to help her try and narrow it down. We think it might be someone mad at Santana and we don't want her hurt next." Brittany said quickly.

"So you've already enlisted the help of my Slayer?" Will asked with concern, "I should really be in charge of whether or not she takes anything like this on."

"I…"

"No it's not a big deal Brittany, I just don't want you kids involved in anything too dangerous. I've seen bad things happen to good people because of my job Brittany." Will said hushing the girl.

"Alright...well I was wondering if we could look up a spell or something to protect her." Brittany's voice lowered to a sad tone, "I can't see her hurt Mr. Schue...even if she made somebody mad. They shouldn't be able to hurt people like that."

"I understand Brittany, we can do it after Glee…" Mr. Schue patted Brittany's shoulder gently. Brittany seemed to smile at the teacher and nodded before bouncing away, her ponytail swinging..

Tina ducked behind the garbage can, watching the teacher go back into the faculty lounge. Tina slumped against the wall in confusion...since when did half of the glee club know about witches? And Quinn was a slayer? What did that even mean? Tina narrowed her eyes as she watched the blonde continue to walk away. Brittany would be the one to take her new powers away from her, and she really didn't want that. She hadn't meant to hurt the blonde earlier. But the girl was scared, and just starting to learn control of her powers.

She focused on the floor and held back tears. Her eyes closed. Tina didn't want to get in trouble for the things she couldn't control. She knew how to do minor spells like healing small wounds and conjuring small items. She had found out her mother was also a wiccan, just recently. Only, Tina's mother wasn't really willing to teach her how to do it. Tina was stuck with the books she found in the study and practicing on her own.

Tina stood up and took a deep breath, she would not let Brittany or Quinn find out about her powers. She refused to let two cheerleaders ruin her life. She didn't know what they would do to her once they found out, could they take away her powers? She would just have to come up with a way to control her powers, and fast. She just wished that Brittany would shut her mouth and stop talking about it. It might buy her some time.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Artie smiled at Tina as she walked up to him. Her long dark hair was down and lightly curled with blue streaks in it.

"Those are new," Artie said as he retrieved his books from his locker.

"I thought maybe I should try something different." Tina said curtly. Her light brown eyes surveyed him with a frown.

Artie smiled nervously. He remembered the night before, upsetting his girlfriend. It's not like he didn't think she was talented and pretty, she was. She just wore black all the time and colored her hair, it was redundant. Artie thought she should show off her assets.

Tina was wearing a pair of tight black jeans, her usual black combat boots, fishnet gloves, and a black sweatshirt. She had her hood up and weary eyes.

"I thought maybe different could be less black." Artie placed his books on his lap and shut his locker. He wheeled himself away from the locker and sighed, "You could be so pretty…"

"This is how I dress Artie. You didn't have a problem with it last year." Tina growled she was walking next to Artie as he wheeled himself down the hallway.

"I just mean...with all the new glee members, our ranks are going up Tina! We have a chance to be popular. Three of the most popular girls in school joined, along with those jocks. I just figure you're the one who has a chance to fit in with them. You can dance almost as well as Brittany, why don't you try out for the cheerios?" Artie asked with the a sigh.

"Because Artie, this is me!" Tina stopped in the middle of the crowded hall and Artie stopped too.

"Tina…"

"Stop it! Don't 'Tina' me you jerk! Just go away! You keep comparing me to that slut and it's not fair!" Tina's voice was shrill and her hands were shaking as she pointed at Artie, "If you want her then go sleep with her! She opens her legs for everyone anyways! I just want you to leave me alone from now on and shut your goddamn mouth!"

"Wait, Tina I don't want to sleep with Brittany…" Artie mumbled, a crowd was forming around them now.

"You're stuck in your ways Artie Abrams." Tina snapped. She turned around and stomped down the hallway.

Artie tried to wheel after her, but his wheelchair was stuck. He couldn't move it.

"Someone help me please!" Artie cried out, it was stuck. His wheels didn't want to move, and soon his hands became stuck to his wheels.

People passed him shaking their head or smirking at him, one person muttered in his ear, "Nice way to treat a lady."

Artie could feel his whole upper body starting to freeze, he was stuck in his chair, his hands placed at the wheels and his head looking straight ahead. His mouth frozen open, and the only thing he could move is his eyes. His worst fear come true, he was paralyzed all over, only he was still sitting up.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Brittany hung her head, her eyes filling up with tears as she stood in the choir room, her back to the room. She put her hand to her mouth...and cried again. Only no sound came out.

She heard the other students walking in, even though it wasn't time for glee club yet. She could feel the emotions of the students. She recognized Rachel's ambition and giddiness, Finn's general happiness, and Quinn's feeling of despair and fear, mixed with a strange content feeling. But it was only a flavor as she continued to sob, it shook her whole body and she felt the climate in the room change, all emotions zeroed in on her. Concern, suspicion, and confusion from the three students.

"Brittany?" Quinn's voice came out of the silence.

"Why are you crying?" Rachel came right up behind her, she put a shoulder onto Brittany's shoulder.

Brittany turned around and stared at them in somber silence, not that she could do anything else. Her mouth had disappeared.
