AN: hi guys and gals! Sorry I haven't had an update in a while, schools been killing me. Anyway, here is the next chapter, hope you like it.

Gogo helped Hiro stand up, then she noticed, Hiro was actually a whole foot taller than her thanks to his robotic leg extensions. Hiro looked down at Gogo and said

"Thanks Gogo."

Gogo smiled and nodded, Then Hiro pulled her into a hug, lifting her 7 inches off the ground. Gogo was surprised at first but then hugged him back tightly, leaning her head on his shoulder. Hiro and Gogo looked at the awe struck expressions on the team behind them, Hiro immediately put Gogo down and cleared his throat nervously.

Gogo was about to say something but then they heard breaking metal and loosening dirt. Behind them the pole Callaghan was on had detached from the ground and was being lifted. The portal was still active!

With lightning fast speed, Hiro made a microbot arm over his and grabbed Callaghan before he got lifted too far. Then Hiro pulled Callaghan down onto the ground and untied him from the pole. The team helped Callaghan up and he looked at Hiro in confusion.

"Why, why did you save me? You're the one who tried to kill me!" Callaghan said in fear and anger.

Hiro lowered his head and said

"I-I'm sorry. I let my anger take control of me and it made me do something horrible, instead of letting people help me, I tried to get revenge, and now I see that it was wrong."

"Well you're not the only one who has lost someone." Said Callaghan.

Callaghan then approached Hiro and said in sadness

"But I guess, neither of us were in our right mind."

Callaghan put his hand on Hiro's shoulder

"I am also sorry, your brother was a good man, and if I could take back what I did, I would."

Hiro looked at Callaghan and smiled weakly

"Thanks."

Wasabi looked up and said in fear

"Uh guys, the portal is falling DOWN!"

The team and Callaghan looked up and saw that the microbots supporting the portal had weakened after a few were sucked into it. The portal was falling down fast. They all jumped behind a piece of rubble for cover as the portal slammed into the ground and made a cloud of dust.

After a minute the team and Callaghan all stood up and looked at the portal. They then heard a voice coming from behind them

"Run! You need to get away from the portal!"

They all turned around and saw the origin of the voice. Alistair Krei was running towards them with smoke and dust blowing around him. Once he got close to them he said

"We need to get out of here! The portal is unstable and is about to implode on itself…."

Krei looked at Hiro and said in surprise

"HAMADA!"

Hiro waved nervously at Krei

"Hi, Mr. Krei."

"You're responsible for this?"

Hiro rubbed the back of his neck and looked off to the side.

"Yeah. It's a long story."

"Uh, well never mind that now! We need to leave, the magnetic containment field is failing, we have to go!"

Krei began running away from the portal and the team along with Callaghan followed him. They however, stopped because Baymax was not following. Hiro looked at Baymax and began running towards him

"Baymax, what are you doing?!"

Baymax pointed at the portal and said

"I am detecting signs of life. The life signs are female, she appears to be in hyper sleep."

Hiro then realized "Callaghan's daughter, she's still alive!"

Callaghan turned around in surprise.

"Abigail?"

Hiro looked at the portal with a serious face

"I have to save her."

Hiro began walking towards the portal as the microbots began coming to him, but Gogo ran up to him and grabbed his arm.

"Hiro what are you doing?! It's too dangerous!"

Hiro looked at her with a calm expression and said

"She's alive in there. Someone has to help."

Hiro then pulled his arm away and put his mask/helmet down over his face as the microbots surrounded his feet and lifted him toward the portal. Gog began running towards him to stop him, but the others pulled her back.

"Hiro!" screamed Gogo as the others pulled her back.

Hiro then made the microbots speed up and head for the portal. Hiro closed his eyes for a quick second, and when he opened them he was in the portal. It had no gravity and was filled with some kind of pink and purple clouds. Hiro was being pushed further in by the microbots as he searched behind floating ruble to find Callaghan's daughter, he moved pieces of ruble away with his micobot arms and broke through other pieces.

He was so focused on finding Callaghan's daughter that he didn't notice a long piece of glass ruble (the long one from the movie) coming towards him. Hiro acted quickly, he jumped off the microbots and ran over the piece of glass, and his damaged robotic leg however, gave out. But not before Hiro could jump off of the ruble and back onto the microbots.

Hiro looked down at the now useless robotic leg and decided to not run anymore on the ruble.

Hiro then looked up and spotted a familiar looking capsule, he approached it and wiped the foggy glass. Inside was Abigail Callaghan, Hiro smiled and had the microbots grab the capsule. Hiro then began heading for the exit, pushing away the ruble with his microbot arms. Hiro was close to the portal. Then he notice a giant piece of ruble the size of half a football field about to cover the portal, his time was limited, in a matter of seconds the portal would close.

Hiro had to make a decision. Save Abigail, or save himself. Due to the added weight, only one of them would make it out in time. Hiro then thought about Gogo and the advice she gave him.

He then looked at the capsule with Abigail and said

"It's never too late to make up for it."

Hiro made the microbots surround the capsule and lengthen his microbot arm. Hiro the pulled the capsule behind him and aimed at the portal. Hiro then launched the capsule towards the portal using the microbots. He saw the capsule make it through the portal and smiled.

"Goodbye guys."

The ruble then covered Hiro

Fades to black.

The capsule made it through the portal and landed on the ground. Moments later, the portal exploded behind it.

The team saw and ran towards the capsule. They stopped to look for Hiro and were worried when they didn't see him. Gogo told Baymax to scan the area. Baymax scanned all around and said

"I cannot detect Hiro's life signs."

"W-what." Said Gogo in sorrow.

The team all were hit with the same sadness that hit Gogo, and they all looked down to the ground in sorrow. They all let a few tears escape, but Gogo was the only one who actually began to sob. (She actually had the greatest feelings for Hiro, that it hurt her the most).

They all stopped crying, including Gogo, when they heard Callaghan say.

"Abigail?!"

They turned around and saw that Callaghan wiped the rest of the fog off the capsule and was looking at his daughter. Krei was awestruck and said

"Oh my god! I- I'm going to go get the paramedics!"

The team surrounded behind Callaghan and looked at Abigail as well.

HOSPITAL

Abigail was currently in a hospital bed and Callaghan was sitting in a chair next to her. When she awoke she looked around and saw Callaghan next to her.

"D-dad?" she said weakly.

Callaghan jumped to his feet in happiness and looked at his daughter.

"A-Abigail."

Abigail sat up, and in a few seconds she and Callaghan were hugging tightly, happy that they were together again.

The team looked at them from the door and smiled. They were happy for what Hiro did, but he will never be forgotten. The team walked outside the hospital and got into Wasabi's new van. They then drove off towards the city. The team made a vow to keep helping people, to help the memory of Hiro and Tadashi live on. So beware evil doers, this city belongs to Big Hero 6!
