Dimentio slowly levitated down the halls of Castle Bleck, his eyes searching for a certain room. It was the middle of the night, everything being completely still and quiet. Dimentio was heading towards the very end of the castle on the middle floor, where one door stood. It was the entrance Count Bleck's private room, the only place in the castle that none of the minions, including Nastasia, were not allowed to go. He knew that the Dark Prognosticus was locked up in that room, and he knew that this will be his only good chance to get it. He couldn't mess this up; he had to get all the information he needed tonight.

When he finally arrived at the door to Count Bleck's private room, Dimentio turned the doorknob. Unsurprisingly, it was locked. Hoping that there would be no magic spells to prevent people for teleporting inside; he snapped his fingers to see if it would work.

Surprisingly, it did.

Dimentio glanced around the room. It was a half office half bedroom, kept well cleaned and organized. It was a lot smaller than he expected, but it had plenty of room move around. Dimentio stood where he was, deep in thought.

This was too easy.

There must be more to this room then what meets the eye. And if I know the count well enough, the Dark Prognosticus should be kept somewhere close to him where only he could find it.

Another thought came to Dimentio was that there was the faint possibility that Count Bleck kept the Dark Prognosticus with him at all times, that he never kept it out of his sight. He doubt the count was that paranoid, but it was still a possibility.

Being completely alert, Dimentio levitated over to the desk. Unlike the rest of the room, the desk was cluttered with handwritten papers. Some were notes, others looked like poems. Dimentio skimmed some of the papers. They were about mixed subjects. The notes were mostly about his, Mimi, and O'Chunks's training progress, telling how to improve each of their fighting skills.

The poems...seemed very personal. It was like a diary, revealing many emotions and list of events, most of them tragic. Dimentio didn't find them that interesting; however, one poem did catch his eye.

My dear love, how I long to be with you.

To feel the touch of your hand and to hear your soft voice.

I miss you, and I would do anything to have you back.

You where my everything, what made me even close to being human.

I will be with you again once my final act is complete.

Wait for me in the Overthere, my fair Lady Timpani.

Dimentio eyes widened. He dropped the poem, staring at nothing.

It...couldn't be!

It was impossible; there was no possible way that Count Bleck could be...

Dimentio closed his eyes, chuckling softly.

It all made sense now. The unexplained anger and hatred towards the count, how could he not recognize it sooner?

It has been awhile, Blumiere, my eternal enemy. I am surprised you didn't recognize my voice or name. Has it been so long that you forget me? How you stole Lady Timpani away from me and destroyed my life?

Dimentio's laugh grew louder and louder, long hidden emotions rising inside him.

He then stopped all movement and thought. A strong sense of dark magic filled the air. He reopened his eyes, to see a small glow coming from a single book that was shelved on the desk. Dimentio picked it up, studying it's cover.

Just by holding it, he knew that this was the Dark Prognosticus.

Without having a second thought, he opened the dark book. He started to skim it a bit, only looking at anything he found useful. He admit, the prophecies in here were very interesting. Through his travels, he remembered hearing stories similar to these. But, he had to stay focus. Turning towards end of the book, Dimentio came across a paragraph that mentioned the Chaos Heart.

...For the end of all life to occur, the union of a princess pure of hearts and an evil king shall form the Chaos Heart. As the Chaos Heart is in control of the Dark One, The Void will open. The Void will slowly consume all dimensions, unless the Hero of Legend…

Some of the text was faded, clearly of age. Dimentio quickly turned to the next page, where the words were fit to read again.

O'Chunks the Warrior, Mimi the Shape Shifter, Dimentio the Traveler of Dimensions, and Mr. L the Thief. Bring the minions of darkness to weaken the Hero of Legend. For they have the power to face him.

Dimentio paused his reading.

Mr. L…so he was the missing minion. Dimentio wondered why Count Bleck couldn't get a hold of him like he did him and the others. Thinking it was revealed in the book, Dimentio continued to read on.

But only one can slay the hero, as they have a heart of pure darkness and evil that even the purest of souls cannot stand against. By the death of the hero, the man in green shall become the host of the Chaos Heart and the destruction of life, light, and hope will be complete.

Dimentio smiled.

So, the man in green was the key to all of it. Was that who Mr. L was? It was a high possibility.

So all I have to do is wait tell Count Bleck gets the Chaos Heart, and then steal it from his possession once I find the man in green. Sounds simple enough.

But that thought quickly changed as Dimentio found one last paragraph that he didn't see before. The print was a lot smaller than the rest of the book, as if it was a hidden message.

But if the one girl, the one person able to get to the Dark One, the true Servant of Evil's heart, then he will become his own demise. For he will internally destroy himself and…

Then there was nothing.

No signs of faded text or ripped out pieces. It just ended, like someone forgot to finish the rest of the sentence.

Dimentio reread that line a couple of times.

What did it mean? He couldn't understand it, it didn't make much sense! Was it talking about Count Bleck? It must be, who else could it be? And the girl…it must be Timpani. But wasn't she dead, at least according to Count Bleck's poem? Why would the Dark Prognosticus mention about a dead woman if it told the future?

Dimentio then put the Dark Prognosticus back in its rightful place.

Whatever that last sentence mentioned, it didn't matter. It was meaningless, if Timpani was truly dead.

Trying to get Timpani and his past out his mind, to only think of the present, Dimentio teleported to the first thing that came to his mind.

He then arrived at the garden, the faint stars and moon shinning down. Dimentio looked up at the sky, admiring it's dark beauty.

He glanced in front of him to see Mimi sitting at the edge of the fountain. She was gazing at the sky too, not even aware that he was right behind her. Dimentio walked towards her.

"Nice evening isn't it."

Mimi jumped a bit and turned to him. Dimentio smiled and sat next to her.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay," Mimi replied slightly embarrassed. "I was half asleep anyway."

"I'm surprised you're out here this late. Your always the last one to wake up in the morning."

"I couldn't sleep. I had a lot on my mind. I needed to find a place relaxing, so I came out here."

She let out a heavy sigh.

"...Do you think Count Bleck and Nastasia are alright?"

Dimentio blinked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, we're almost ready to fight the Hero of Legend soon. And he is supposed to show himself once the Chaos Heart is formed. I know it sounds silly, but I'm just...I'm just worried about their safety."

"You shouldn't be."

Mimi gave a look of surprised at the sudden coldness in Dimentio's voice.

"Count Bleck and Nastasia can take care of themselves," he explained, not even looking at her. "I doubt they would try to fight the hero on their own, as the called us to help fight him. But...it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't come back empty handed."

Like bringing Mr. L.

Mimi held her confused gaze. She then looked back up at the night sky. There was a long silence between the two of them, each gazing at the sky.

Dimentio did feel himself enjoying the moment. He felt truly relaxed for once, just sitting here next to Mimi. It was almost like time stop for there to be a moment of peace. He let out a small yawn.

Mimi smiled and giggled.

"You look tired. Come on, it's really late."

Dimentio nodded in agreement, too tired to speak.

The two of them then walked up to their rooms. Though they arrived at his room first, Dimentio decided to walk Mimi to her room. When they arrived, Mimi opened her door. She looked up at him and smiled.

"It was nice talking to you, Dimentio. I hope we can do it again some time. I really enjoyed myself."

"If you want," Dimentio replied. "We might not have much time to ourselves once Count Bleck and Nastasia return, but we will find the time."

Mimi nodded in reply. She was about to close the door when her eyes suddenly widened.

"Oh, before I forget!" Mimi exclaimed, reopening the door. "Tomorrow or sometime before they get back, I was thinking you could teach me how to teleport. After our battle this afternoon, I was thinking it may be very useful once we fight the hero."

Dimentio paused a bit before answering. He didn't really want to teach Mimi, as he wanted to spend time to himself to figure out his master plan.

But, subconsciously, Dimentio gave a small smile and said, "Of course, bellezza. Just let me know when you want to do it and I will teach you."

"Still calling me bellezza? I'm still waiting for you to tell me what that means, you know."

Dimentio chuckled.

"But it is so fun to keep you clueless, like a group of people playing charades."

Mimi punched him playfully.

"Whatever, meanie. But I will figure it out. And when I do..."

She put her face very close to Dimentio's. She didn't say anything, as the look in her eyes explained everything. Dimentio felt a tiny bit uncomfortable, but his expression didn't show it. Mimi kept this pose up, as if hoping to get a reaction out of him. Once Dimentio refused to give one, she backed away.

"...Well, goodnight. See you in the morning, Dimentio."

She then closed the door.

Dimentio smiled, his eyes blinking with exhaustion.

"Goodnight...my bellezza."
