"Take this envelope and we are through." He jerked the envelope from Alexi's hand and strode away. He had a bank account number now that Felicity could trace. And it had only cost him his affiliation with the Bratva. Well worth the price. He heard something behind him and turned quickly ready for an attack.

"Relax, it's just me," said Sara. "I thought we were doing this together? Does Felicity know where you are?" He didn't answer.

"You went to the Bratva for help? You're losing your grip. Slade's getting in your head, yo-"

"I know Sara!" He yelled. "I know what's at stake, you said you were willing to do whatever it took. That's what I'm doing."

"Yes but your losing yourself in the process! You're barely eating or sleeping-"

"I need this to stop Sara and for it to stop I have to find him! I don't have time to sleep."

"Have you thought about Felicity in all this?" He fist clenched and his face twisted in anger.

"Felicity is the reason I'm doing this!"

"You know Felicity wouldn't want this."

"I don't care what she wants, all I care about is that she's safe."

"Ollie are we going to have these same stupid conversations over and over again? Do you love Felicity?"

"Yes! Why would you even ask that?"

"Because right now you're starting to give away your soul, and if you keep going in that direction you won't have anything left to love with." He stepped back like she had slapped him.

"You have a light that's still inside of you..it's something I don't have. You never completely lost your humanity, you found a way to be different, don't ruin all of that now. I know that you're willing to lose everything if it means keeping her safe but Oliver... Felicity is just a piece of your light, you have to be able to live for yourself before you can live for others." She started to walk away from him. "You can't keep this up for much longer, not by yourself. Let her in, Ollie."

He wasn't scared of letting her in, he was scared of what would happen if he let her in.

She kept telling him there was another way. But God help him he didn't want for there to be. Slade would never stop, he would always be a threat. That's why he knew he needed to kill him. But Sara's words made him think for just a second.

Was it worth losing another piece of your soul?

If he lost Felicity or his family there would be no soul left, so what was one more missing piece?

It was worth it.

She had gotten an address for the account number Oliver had given her and soon he had left taking Sara and Roy with him. He returned alone and she could tell he was hurting. Not psychically but emotionally. She went up and wrapped her arms around him. She didn't ask what was wrong only held him trusting that if he needed to talk he would. He was silent for a long time and his hands were at his sides but finally he took a deep breath and his arms wrapped around her and spoke.

"He killed Alexi, He's too far ahead, he's spent years years planning this, he knows everything about me. Felicity. He's going to take everything."

She pulled back to look into his eyes that were wet with tears. "No he's not. You're going to stop him."

"I don't know how."

"Neither do I. But I do know two things. You are not alone and I believe in you." He stared into her eyes. "You know this fight just isn't your own, its not just your burden to bear." She ran her fingers through his hair. "I love you." His posture straightened and his shoulders went back, she could feel the steel return to his body. Determination filling his gaze as he pressed his hand to her stomach.

Everything was going to be okay.

"Whoa!" She gasped as she put her hand on her stomach. Oliver who had been working out some of his aggression on one of the training dummy's come running.

"Felicity!"

"Calm down, I'm fine."

"You didn't sound fine."

"The babies kicking." He stepped forward. "He is?"

"Yeah, it's the most amazing feeling." she pressed her hand to her stomach more firmly.

"What does it feel like?"

"I can't describe it, but it's like fluttering." His fingers are rubbing together in that familiar nervous tick of his and he looks like he wants to say something. He just closes his mouth until a moment later when she says "Wow, that was a big one."
He rushed forward. "Can I?" He asked hesitantly, he crouched in front of her chair and she reached her hand out for his and placed it on her belly where she had been feeling it a moment ago. "Do you feel it?" He shook his head so she put her palm over his and moved his hand a little to the left. A moment later his eye widened in wonder. "You feel it?"

"Yeah…." He places his other hand on her stomach too and his lips stretch into a smile. She can't believe what she was seeing. Oliver Queen was smiling like an idiot and it was all because of the little baby kicking in her tummy. What a big softy.

"Does it hurt?" He asks his hands and eyes not leaving her abdomen.

"No, it's weird, but its a good feeling. It lets me know he's okay in there."

His blue eyes lift to hers and they get caught in the moment. He lifts one of his hands to her cheeks and runs the pad of his thumb across a happy tear( stupid hormones) that had ran down her cheek. The moment stretched, his hand not leaving her face and her whole body burst into flames in desire. He looked like he wanted to kiss her and she almost reached across the space to grab him but her computer beeped and broke the moment, she internally cursed. He kissed her on the cheek and squeezed her shoulder before muttering a "Thank you," and went back to the training dummies.
She told herself it was just the hormones that made her want to tackle him to the floor right then. But a little while later as she watched him strip off his shirt and start on the salmon ladder she knew it wasn't her hormones at all.

They had other things to worry about than her...well...her sex drive.

But dang! Her husband was hot!

And he was all hers.

As if they didn't have enough to worry about the Huntress or as Lance called her, S-hero was back in town.

"Who is she?" Sara asks.

"Helena Bertenelli, Oliver's psycho ex-girlfriend who's hell bent on revenge against her father." She gave Oliver a glare and walked over to her desk.

"Hey! What was that look for?"

"You're choice in women," she replied.

"I married you didn't I?"

"Dig it, oh oh oh, dig it," Roy started singing and Diggle started chuckling before joining in. Oliver glowered at the snickering duo but they still didn't stop humming the song only started making shoveling motions.

"Are you guys done with your concert? Because some of us have serious work do to," Oliver said in his growly voice.

"Buzz kill," Roy said and tried to cover it up with a cough. Oliver lunged forward and Roy scurried away quickly. Diggle snickered again. Sara just sat back and enjoyed the show.
"Oliver! They're right, you're digging a hole and if I weren't pregnant and if you weighed a lot less I would put you in it right now." His eyebrows rose.

She knew she was being grouchy today but Helena really got under her skin. She rubbed her wrist absently remembering what happened the last time she was in town. She had laid on the floor for an hour, afraid to call out for help lest she be asked questions she couldn't afford to answer, before Oliver had finally gotten there. Where had he been anyway? You know, she didn't want to know.

"Where had who been and when?" Her head snapped up.

"I said that out loud?" He nodded.

"Never mind," she exclaimed before she began to bring up the information on Helena. "I've been keeping tabs on her, the last sighting was in Palermo. She's been torturing and killing mob bosses that might know where her father is."

"Bertenelli's arrest just hit the wires. How long to you think we have before she books a ticket home?" Asks Diggle.

"I don't know, but I have no doubt she's coming back. Stay on your toes and watch your back, all of you. Especially you," he said turning to her.

"Please, I'll be fine. As long as she doesn't decide to show up at QC with another set of zip ties. This time she would have a hard time getting me to lay on my stomach though. It's a very uncomfortable position, even when you're not five months pregnant." Oliver grimaced.

"That never should have happened," he said angrily.

"Well...it did and what would make it better is if we could finally catch this bit-"

"Felicity!" Oliver exclaimed his eyes going wide in surprise.

"Oh, sorry." She looked down at her belly. "Mommy's sorry and she's promises she won't say that word...out loud again. At least while your in there." She looked up. "Crap."

"What?"

She pointed a finger at him. "Now I'm talking in third person. Do you see what you've done." He chuckled and moved closer to her putting his hands on her shoulders and squeezing. The rest of the team wandered off to different parts of the foundry.
"You okay? You seem really..." She sent him a sideways glance. "Tense." She took a deep breath.

"I'm fine, just kinda grumpy today."

"I've noticed that... not that you don't...well deserve a grumpy day because you totally do it's just...not you." She smiled at him.

"Usually I'm the one talking in sentence fragments." He turned her chair to face him and crouched down in front of her.

"What's wrong Felicity?"

"I'm worried about you, you haven't been sleeping or eating hardly anything... Slade and his minions are out there and now Helena's back in town. I just feel like it's always one thing after another and I realize this is what we do but I'm tired of feeling happy only to have the other shoe to drop." She blew out a breath and sat back in her chair.

"Feel better now?" He asked while taking her hand in his.

"Actually yes." She gave him a soft smile. "I'm sorry."

"No I want to know how you feel. As for eating and sleeping, I'll try to do better. We're going to take down Slade and Helena."

"Good, I'm ready to have her out of my city."

"You and I both."

"I can't believe you ever even dated her."

"We were both in the same place at the time, I was in the darkness and so was she, I thought I could help her, maybe I could have if I had been just her friend."

She put her palm on his stubbled cheek. "You can't save everyone Oliver."

"I know, but sometimes I feel guilty, she lost the love of her life and I found mine. It could have been completely different story for me if I hadn't met you Felicity." He looked at the floor. "I hate to imagine what I'd be without you."

"Oliver." She whispered. He looked up at her and she tilted her head. "You would have found your way back to the light, it's been inside you all along, you just needed a little help finding it."

"I'm sorry it took me so long."

"I'm not." He smiled and moved to plant a kiss on her lips, his palm settled on her stomach.

"Hey..." He said pressing his hand to her stomach again. "He kicked."

"He's been doing it a lot lately." He smiled and Felicity was sure her heart would overflow from all the love she saw in his eyes. "He like's your voice." He glanced up his eye wide in wonder. "Sometimes he's all quiet in there, then you come in the room and start talking and suddenly he's David Beckam."

"It's amazing."

"Yeah, it is. I never thought I'd be here, but here I am."

"What do you mean?"

"When I was little, while everyone else was playing with dolls I was building computers, while they were playing house, I was starting to design circuit boards. I wanted to have kids one day but it just never really crossed my mind. I always thought my computers would be my babies. But then... I met you-"

"And everything you thought you knew changed," he said softly while staring into her eyes.

She nodded. "You sound familiar with the feeling."

"Oh I am," he replied with a light in his eyes. "I've been meaning to ask. When are we going to find out if he is a he or a she?" She fiddled with her fingers until he put his hand over them to stop her. "What is it?"

"I was supposed to find out a week ago, but we've had so much going on-"

"Felicity! Did you miss your appointment?"

"Not technically, more like rescheduled." He sighed and shook his head.

"Felicity, this is important, you need to go to your appointments."

"I know Oliver, but if you haven't noticed we've all had a lot on our minds."

"That is something I will make time for. I don't want you missing any more appointments. Okay?" he stated brooking no room for a argument.

"Promise...do you want to know? What it is I mean."

"Do you?"

"Originally no, but I think I've had enough surprises." His lips pressed into a line.

"That we have. When is the appointment?"

"I may have overstated the whole 'rescheduled thing'."

"Felicity!" He looked at her in exasperation.

" I'll call right now," she said quickly and her rolled her eyes at him.

Boy were they married.

"I find it kinda ironic that Slade's out there just waiting to kill us and here we are at a prenatal appointment."

"Life goes on," he smiled softly.

There was a soft knock on the door and Dr. Matthews entered.

"Ms. Smo- Oh," she looked down at her clipboard. "Mrs. Queen, Congratulations and it's wonderful to see you again."

"You as well," she replied as Dr. Matthews reached out her hand to shakes Oliver's.

"How has everything been going? Sickness gone? Any dizziness?"
"No the morning sickness is definitely gone,"

"I'll say," Oliver smirked as he turned to the Doctor. "She's eating like a- what was it you said? A 14 year old boy going through puberty?"

The Doctor laughed. "Perfectly normal, just make sure your staying active." Oliver looked at her, mouth tilted in a seductive grin.

"Oh, I've made sure of it." When the Doctor turned around she pinched him on his wrist causing a soft 'oww' and an even bigger grin.

The Doctor pulled up her shirt and went through the normal routine before moving the wand around on her stomach. "Okay, Mom and Dad, do you want to know?"

They both looked at each other for a moment and in agreement turned to look at the Doctor and nodded.

"Congratulations, you're having a boy."

Oliver squeezed her hand and placed a kiss on her forehead. Tears leaked down her face and off her chin as she turned to him. "It's what I've always wanted." He rubs his thumb over a tear and looks deeply into her eyes.

" Me too," Oliver answers, his eyes glassy.

They are having a boy. They have a son.

And she starts to think that maybe, just maybe this moment right now with Oliver holding her hand, and the doctor printing out photos is the moment she realizes, this is all real.
