"I won't let you go. I won't let you kill Count Bleck, Dimentio!"

Mimi's voice rang in his ears as Dimentio teleported inside Castle Bleck. He was on the final floor, standing right in front of the training room's entrance. Where Count Bleck awaited the heroes. Dimentio stood in the center of the hallway, his sense on high alert as he waited for Mario to come.

Two, three minutes pasted.

The wait was agonizing. Time was running out.

And though he looked calm on the outside, many thoughts went through Dimentio's mind.

"You could give her the entire universe, but it will never make up for what you had done."

"She believed that we will all be alright and that the evil and darkness of the universe would be the ones to be destroyed."

"Mimi, O'Chunks, and perhaps even Nastasia, will hate me because I sent them to their deaths."

"This is your last chance to have a happy ending."

Why can't I get his voice out of my head!

Finally, Dimentio heard Mario and Luigi's footsteps hurry up the stairs. When they arrived, they narrowed their eyes at the sight of him. Dimentio smiled.

"And so you finally arrive, heroes. Surprised it has taken you this long to get here."

He paused.

"But it seems you are missing your ravishing princess and the Arm Flailer."

Mario clutched his fists. Dimentio laughed and Luigi turned pale at the sound of it.

"That is enough."

Tippi flew up to Dimentio, though she avoided all eye contact.

"Leave them alone, Dimentio," Tippi said firmly. "It is me you are angry with, not them."

Dimentio smirked.

"Aw, such a noble gestured. I wouldn't expect anything less from you, my dear. But I'm afraid there is more to this now then what happened so long ago. Even if you apologize to me, it will mean nothing."

"That's because I'm not apologizing."

Dimentio blinked.

"I do not regret going off with Blumiere," Tippi explained much emotion in her voice. "Being with him were the best moments of my life. The only thing I did regret was not standing up to you, to confront you about my feelings for him and your feelings for me. And then the fire happened and I was crushed when I thought that you, my best friend, died. I grieved for you, Dimentio; I thought you lost your life because of me!"

Her gaze turned icy cold.

"But now, years later, I see you standing right in front of me. And now you are no longer the Dimentio I considered as a brother. You've become a cold hearted psycho, a monster, and I can never forgive you for what you have done. But, even with all of my hatred, I cannot kill you. So, I ask you to step aside so I may deal with Blumiere. For I don't wish to fight you."

There was a long silence as Dimentio and Tippi stared at each other down.

But eventually, a huge grin appeared on Dimentio's face.

"Then that makes two of us, Countess Timpani," he said softly. "However, I can't allow you to see your lover yet. At least…not until you play a little game of tag with me."

Taking a step back, Dimentio snapped his fingers and he and the heroes disappeared.

With a loud cry of rage, Mimi slammed a giant rubee against her glass prison. Over and over again she would try to hit the glass cage, but no matter how hard she tried it would not make a scratch. Mimi panted heavily, falling to the ground.

There…there had to be a way! There's has to be a way to get out of Dimentio's prison. But how, the walls were too strong! And Mimi barely had barely any energy left, physically or mentally.

"…Dimentio…"

Angrily, she threw the rubee at the wall. Tears ran down her eyes.

Dimentio…why do you have to do this? Why couldn't you just move on from the past? And if you couldn't, why didn't you come to me so that I may help you? Why didn't you trust me? Why didn't you…

Question after question, thought after thought. Everything that she had experienced came rushing to her, as if she was reliving her life in a matter of seconds.

Slowly, Mimi began to stand up again. Making a rubee like sword, she glared down at the wall. With all of her strength, she stabbed the wall. Tiny cracks formed from where the rubee's point went through the glass. Soon, the whole box shattered into tiny pieces, falling all around Mimi. Mimi stood unharmed, her grip tightening on her rubee sword.

But even though I am broken, I won't let you win.

"Do you hear me, Dimentio?" Mimi screamed. "I will not let you win!"

Like a new blazing flame, Mimi teleported out of Dimension D to fight in the final battle.

Mimi then arrived in the middle of the dungeon, her eyes widening at what remained of it. The whole dungeon was in ruins, for the earthquake had destroyed most of it. Half the ceiling had crumbled onto the floor and the iron bars of the cells were bent over with all of the walls having holes in them. And on the floor, laid a dusty, half torn white glove. Mimi gasped as she picked up Princess Peach's glove.

Peach…

Mimi tried to hold back the sobs.

"…Mimi, is that you?"

Mimi froze as she quickly turned around to see Peach, all beat up and wounded, standing right in front of her. Her eyes widened.

"Peach, you're alive!"

"And so are you," Peach replied with a smile. "I was so afraid that you…"

Mimi smirked.

"I'm not that easy to get rid of, you should know that by now," she said with a bit of humor. But her voice turned serious again when she asked, "But how did you survive? From the wreckage, there was no possible way you could have lived."

"That's because Bowser saved me," Peach answered. "At the last minute, he caught me as he somehow found his way to the dungeon."

At the mention of his name, Bowser's head, which had a white bandage wrapped around it, appeared from one of the holes in the walls.

"Peach, is everything alright in here?" he asked.

His gazed turned to Mimi, who was staring at him shocked.

"H-how are you standing?" Mimi questioned. "O'Chunks knocked you out when he threw you. Moreover, how did you get down here?"

"I don't know how you know about that, but yes, he did knock me out pretty good," Bowser replied. "I've only just woken up, and when I did, I found myself in this room. I was awaken by Peach's screams and I jumped out to rescue her. We were about to leave the room when Peach thought she heard something."

"I was hoping it was you," Peach added. "I was hoping...that there was the small chance that you survived the fall as well."

Mimi stared at them, too speechless for words. It was a miracle that both Peach and Bowser were alive. But if only…

If only...

"…Tell me," Mimi finally spoke. "What did you do with O'Chunks…?"

Peach and Bowser's eyes turned dark.

"...Mario, Luigi, and I sat his body next to Bowser before we met up with you," Peach explained sadly. "We treated his wound, as we did Bowser's, but there wasn't much we could do."

"You mean he's really…?"

There was a deep silence. Mimi clutched her fists, holding in her grief.

"Then we can't let O'Chunks die for nothing. I won't let him die in vain because of this."

"That's because I didn't die."

Mimi, Bowser, and Peach immediately turned around to see O'Chunks, leaning against the wall as he approached them. Blood was still dripping down the side of his head, but a huge white bandages covered the top of his head. His eyes looked distance, as if he wasn't fully there, but his strong will burned within. Tears ran down Mimi's eyes.

"O'Chunks!"

She ran up to him and gave her big friend a large hug.

"Oh my gosh, O'Chunks, I can't believe it! How did you, how did you…!"

Mimi lost herself in her words. O'Chunks hugged her back.

"I don't know, lassie, I don't know. I thought I was a goner too. But apparently it isn't my time yet, for a messenger from God must have saved me at the last second. For we still need to stop the count before it is too late."

Mimi's eyes darkened as she stepped away.

"No, it isn't Count Bleck we have to stop. It is Dimentio we need to worry about."

"Dimentio?"

Peach, Bowser, and O'Chunks gave shocked looks. Mimi's eyes became emotionless as she stepped away from her friends.

"Dimentio is the true enemy. He has been all along. We've all been played by his tricks to see what was truly happening. Until now."

She glanced back at them.

"Come, we need to find Count Bleck before Dimentio or Mario finds him. I'll explain everything on the way but we must hurry."

"Dimentio!" Tippi shouted with rage as she, Mario, and Luigi chased Dimentio through the world of nothing.

Dimentio glanced back at the enraged pixl, amused at her anger. He had made them chase him through all the worlds the Pure Hearts have been. Lineland, Gloam Valley, Land of the Cragnons, Bitsland, the deepest ridges of outer space, the Underwhere, and now the world of nothing. The game was toying with Mario and Tippi's emotions, just what he wanted.

Finally, feeling that they had enough mental torture, Dimentio teleported them back to Castle Bleck. Dimentio smiled brightly at them.

"Enjoying my game of tag?"

"You need to stop messing with us!" Luigi exclaimed fearfully. "W-we've been through a lot and we don't need to be reminded!"

"Oh really?"

Dimentio took a step closer to Luigi, who got behind his brother for protection.

"Aw, do you fear me, Little Luigi?" Dimentio asked. "I must say, that really hurts my feelings..."

Mario gave a threatening glare at him and Dimentio chuckled.

"Now, Mario, you've got to be reasonable. The world is at stake and the last thing you need is another enemy. For I…offer you a chance to make an alliance."

Before anyone had time to react, Dimentio snapped his fingers and transported Mario away from Tippi and Luigi. They gasped and tried to reach Mario but Dimentio held them back by a glass wall blocking their path. Mario glanced back at his beloved brother and friend and then made eye contact with Dimentio.

Dimentio smiled at Mario.

"Don't think that I haven't been watching you, Mario. I've studied your progress and believe that you, and only you, can defeat Count Bleck. I want to bring down Count Bleck, Count Blumiere, as much as you do. For you see, I could never defeat the count on my own, so I waited for the perfect opportunity to ask for your assistance. For it was I that rescued a certain princess and king from their prison in Castle Bleck and brought them to you. It was also I that sent you to the Underwhere, unharmed, to fix the broken Pure Heart. And it was I…that freed a man to be reunited with his brother…"

Dimentio paused for a moment, as Mario's eyes widened with the new given information.

"Now do you see?" he asked, looking as if he was staring into Mario's soul. "Will you accept my offer and fight by my side or prolong the destruction as you fight me once again?"

Mario stood where he was, completely speechless. It was like he was frozen in time, unsure what he should do.

"Mario, don't listen to him!" Tippi exclaimed. "He's mad, he's trying to fool him!"

Luigi gave a sad look.

"Bro..."

But suddenly, something in Luigi changed. His eyes became colder, and he was looking straight at Dimentio.

"Dimentio, you really are a two faced snake," Luigi said in a dark voice. "Do you have any idea what you have done?"

Dimentio's eyes widened.

"...Mr. L?"

"No, just Luigi. Mr. L has always been Luigi, just under a different name."

Luigi punched the glass wall, strong enough to make it shatter into pieces. Telling his brother to step aside, he confronted Dimentio.

"You do realize what you are saying, don't you?" Luigi questioned. "When you say you betray Count Bleck, you betray Mimi."

"Mimi isn't any of your business!" Dimentio threatened. "And even if she was, she has nothing to do with this!"

"She is one of Count Bleck's minions. So saying you betray him, you betray her. And Nastasia and O'Chunks. All the people you've been living with for months. Do they really mean nothing to you? Has madness and power destroyed you conscience and loyalty?"

He paused as rage appeared in Dimentio's mismatched eyes.

"I may hate your guts, Dimentio," Luigi said sincerely. "But Mimi, though she used me for as long as I've known her, I've come to care for her as a friend. I don't want her to suffer, and I know you killing the count will hurt her beyond your comprehension. If you can comprehend anything besides hatred and jealousy, that is."

He smirked.

"You told me in the world of nothing that you would spare me from madness. But perhaps it is I that will spare you from madness."

Dimentio gave a twisted smile and laughed.

"Oh, you haven't changed one bit, Mr. L, Luigi. Even as your lighter half, you are annoying. Like a parent would do to a child, I will punish you for interfering once again."

He summoned an electric sphere and threw it at him. It was a direct hit and Luigi went flying. But he quickly recovered as Mario and Tippi rushed to help.

"Go now while he is distracted!" Luigi shouted. "I've got a score to settle with him. Good luck, Mario my brother. Save us from this insanity!"

Without waiting for a reply, he charged at Dimentio.

Dimentio charged at him as well, creating clones of himself. Hopping on Carrie and taking the pixl Cudge, who transformed into a giant hammer, and smashed the Dimentio clones' heads one by one. Dimentio continued to fire electric spheres, firing nonstop. Luigi took heavy damage, but he did not fall back. Nothing could stop him, it was like he was immune to pain. Finally, the Dimentio clones were all killed, and Dimentio was exhausting himself.

But I will not give up!

He flew up to Luigi and punched him the face, quickly shooting an electric sphere right after words. Luigi cried out in pain, but he then jumped off of Carrie and landed on top of Dimentio. He quickly got up and pinned Dimentio to the ground with his foot. He held Cudge tightly in his hands.

"Do you surrender, Dimentio?" Luigi asked.

Dimentio smirked and gave an insane laugh, which made Luigi flinch.

"I will never surrender to you! For you will be the one who surrenders!"

He flicked a tiny bit of electricity at Luigi, which gave him an agonizing amount of an electric shock. He gave a blood curling scream, his voice echoing throughout the castle. Dimentio watched him suffer, smiling. Luigi got to his knees and looked at Dimentio, pure fear in his eyes. Dimentio stared back, no sign of mercy within him. Luigi's eyes began to droop. Dimentio put his face close to his and said ever so softly, "Ciao...Luigi."

Finally, Luigi could no longer take the pain and he fell to the ground, out cold. The electrocution had stopped completely. Dimentio then looked around, seeing that Mario and Tippi were nowhere to be seen.

They must be with Blumiere.

Dimentio looked back at Luigi and smiled. But this is the perfect opportunity to brainwash Luigi. Snapping his fingers, he made a Floro Sprout and placed it underneath Luigi's hat.

And now you are my slave for all eternity.

Dimentio then transported Luigi to Dimension D, to give the Floro Sprout time to take over Luigi's consciousness completely. Turning invisible, Dimentio made his way to the training room. He entered the room undetected, and what he saw completely amazed him. Mario and Tippi walked up to Count Bleck, who stood high on the highest platform. Count Bleck gave a twisted smile at Mario and Tippi.

"Welcome to the final stage in our battle, Mario," he said. "There is nowhere left to run, for either of us. No matter who becomes the victor, there will be death and destruction. But whose blood that will be spilled is up to us."

He teleported to Mario and Tippi's level.

"There are two ways that Count Bleck can end this," Count Bleck said solemnly. "He can continue to serve the Dark Prognosticus and fight you. Continue this agonizing war when much has already been lost."

He was silent for a moment, his eyes lightening up.

"Or, he can surrender and let you kill him. For when he is gone, the Chaos Heart will be gone forever. And as long as the man in green isn't here, you will win. And…I can finally rest in peace, knowing my Timpani is safe."

"Blumiere!" Tippi cried with a sob. "This can't end like this! There has to be another way! Blumiere, you can't just give up!"

Count Bleck smiled, his eyes filled with sorrow and grief.

"Timpani, I'm sorry for what I've become. I'm sorry that because of my selfishness you lost your life as countess. And when I thought you were gone, I selfishly decided to destroy all words, because I couldn't go on living without you. But then you appear before me, in a different form yes, but you are still my Timpani. I've learned the error of my ways, and now I wish to end it."

Gingerly, Count Bleck put the tip of his fingers on the small pixl's body. Tippi stared at the once dark count.

"…Blumiere…"

She began to cry. Count Bleck gave her a small, loving smile and then walked up towards Mario. He got down to his knees and closed his eyes.

"End my game now, Mario," Count Bleck said. "End my pathetic life so that my love and my beloved minions can go on living."

Tippi's cries became hysteric as Mario stared down at the count. Tears formed in his eyes, as if he could not push himself to do this. Dimentio stood there patently, anxious to see what would happen.

"Count Bleck!"

Just then, Nastasia appeared in the room and ran towards the count. She fell to his side and hugged him tightly.

"Count Bleck, Lord Blumiere!" Nastasia cried. "You can't do this! You can't just give up! There must be another way! Blumiere, my love, I cannot lose you! Timpani can't lose you!"

Count Bleck looked down at his weeping secretary.

"Nastasia, do not cry for me."

He gently pushed her away.

"It is for the best."

"And perhaps you are right."

Everyone gasped as Dimentio teleported above them, revealing himself.

"For once, Blumiere and I agree on one thing," Dimentio said his voice rising. "He needs to leave this world, for life would be so much better without his disgusting existence!"

He summoned an electric sphere.

"And now I will finally grant him that wish."

Dimentio threw the electric sphere at Count Bleck. But Count Bleck did not move, only giving Dimentio a sad look.

"Blumiere!"

Nastasia quickly pushed Count Bleck out of the way, taking the killing blow. She let out a scream of agony as she fell to the ground instantly.

"Nastasia!"

Count Bleck got up and ran up to her.

"Oh no you don't!"

Dimentio fired another electric sphere, though it was less powerful. It electrocuted Count Bleck, though only enough for him to drop the Chaos Heart from his grasp. He fell to the ground next to Nastasia's body, twitching in pain. Tippi screamed and she and Mario rushed to their side. Dimentio gave an insane laugh.

"Oh how much joy I feel when I see the terror on your faces. You are powerless against me, like a criminal about to be executed! I should really thank you, Mario. You have been a great opponent and pawn for me. And for weakening the count for me to steal the Chaos Heart, I truly owe you for that. But you usefulness has come to an end and now I must end your games. This is my final ciao to you, Mario and Lady Timpani!"

Snapping his fingers, Luigi appeared beside him, his eyes completely foggy and emotionless. Mario and Tippi gasped at the sight of him. Dimentio smiled.

"And now the ultimate show has begun! Mr. L, they're all yours!"

Snapping his fingers once again, Dimentio summoned the Chaos Heart towards him. Luigi, by Dimentio's command, approached the Chaos Heart. At his touch, a giant black void appeared between them. The Chaos Heart and Luigi were both sucked in, and in a gruesome manner, as the Chaos Heart merged with Luigi.

Horror struck Mario and Tippi's faces as Luigi's skin turned jet black. His legs and neck grew longer and his arms disappeared. A jester's purple and yellow poncho replaced his clothes and his mustache and eyes turned white.

"Green!" the abomination shouted in Mr. L's voice.

For he had transformed into Super Dimentio.

Tippi and Mario stared at Super Dimentio, too disturbed for words. Dimentio laughed at their reaction.

"Magnificent isn't he? Who knew Mr. L would have such a use. And now to add my own soul to this beautiful mixture of power."

Levitating up to it, Super Dimentio opened its mouth and Dimentio went inside it, his soul now empowering and controlling the beast. Super Dimentio gave the same twisted smile. Dimentio made Super Dimentio lowered its head to Tippi and Mario's eye level.

"Even with the power of the Pure Hearts, you cannot touch me!" Super Dimentio exclaimed in a mix between Dimentio and Mr. L's voices. "There is no hope left, only darkness and despair! I am truly invincible and I will become the king of all words!"

He then kicked Mario, Tippi, Count Bleck, and Nastasia with Super Dimentio's foot. Super Dimentio smiled.

"Shall we begin?"

"Green!"

The voice of Super Dimentio echoed through the halls of Castle Bleck. Mimi, Peach, Bowser, and O'Chunks stopped all movement. They knew something terrible had just happened, they could sense the evil just occurred.

Dimentio!

"We must hurry!" Mimi ran to the top of the stairs.

"Wait, Mimi!"

Mimi glanced down to see O'Chunks struggling up the stairs, putting most of his weight on Bowser. Pain was in his eyes, his face paling like he was going to faint. Peach gave a worried look and she turned to Mimi.

"I don't think O'Chunks can take any more," Peach said. "Nor is he in any shape to fight."

Mimi stood where she was, her gaze moving from Peach to O'Chunks.

"Then I will go help Mario alone while you two help with O'Chunks."

Peach stared at Mimi, thoughtfulness in her blue eyes.

"Mimi, I know what you are thinking. But you can't do this on your own. Dimentio would try to kill you if you do."

Mimi was silent for a long moment.

"...No, Peach. He will not kill me. I know that for a fact."

But if Dimentio can be saved, this is the only way.

"Lassie."

O'Chunks looked into Mimi's eyes.

"Don't take a risk like this," he said his voice cracking. "Like I told you when we first met, Dimentio is the kind of person that will harm you in the end. He isn't the man you thought he was. Who we all thought."

"I don't see what the big deal is," Bowser commented angrily. "He seems like a bastard. He betrayed you and yet you still want to save him?"

"Wouldn't you do that for the ones you loved?" Mimi questioned. "If Peach betrayed you and was consumed by madness wouldn't you still try to save her?"

Bower's eyes widened but he didn't say anything. Mimi gave them all a solemn look.

"When we enter the training room, go after Mario and help him. Just leave Dimentio to me. Understand?"

With a reluctant look, Peach and Bowser nodded. O'Chunks looked like he wanted to argue some more but he only said, "Be careful, Mimi."

Mimi nodded in reply. "You too."

With Mimi in the lead, they opened the doors to the training room. And their eyes widened in shock as they saw Super Dimentio brutally fighting Mario. Being hit with green lasers and fiercely kicked around, Mario was being thrown all over the place. He was bleeding and bruised everywhere, his clothes torn up, and his hat was missing.

Tippi laid on top of Count Bleck, begging him to get him with her badly injured wings. Nastasia's body laid beside Count Bleck, her hand connected to the count's.

Super Dimentio was laughing at the top of its lungs. The ear piercing laugh filled the room, along with the broken cries of Tippi and screams of agony from Mario. Mimi could not believe what she was seeing. It was the most horrific sight she had ever seen. And the abomination that was in the middle of it, knowing that the Chaos Heart was in his possession. Earthquakes shook the room every so often, but Super Dimentio didn't seem to be affected by it. In fact, it at times felt like it was the one making them. Super Dimentio gave one last bone breaking kick at Mario's back, making him hit the wall face first and fall to the ground. The servant of evil laughed.

"And now to end your game for once and for all! Say goodbye, Mario! For I will send you straight to the gates of hell, like God banishing an angel from heaven! Aha ha ha ha ha! Again for dramatic effect! Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

It was about to make the killing move.

"Dimentio!"

Super Dimentio froze as Mimi ran up to it.

"Dimentio!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. "Dimentio!"

Super Dimentio turned its eyes to Mimi, who glared up at him.

"Dimentio...what have you've done?"

Super Dimentio stepped away from Mario, giving Bowser a chance to get to Mario to safety while Peach and O'Chunks went to the aid of Tippi and Count Bleck. But Super Dimentio did not care about them, at least not at the moment. It lowered its head down to Mimi, looking at her strait in the eye.

"...Mimi..."

Mimi held her ground, forcing herself not to tear up or look away. Super Dimentio tried to get itself closer to her, but Mimi pushed its hideous face away from her with a rubee.

"Don't come near me, you monster!"

She held the rubee's point at Super Dimentio's nose.

"If you want to kill Mario or the rest of us, you have to get through me."

Super Dimentio stared at Mimi, as if her words hadn't fully taken affect. Like an animal, Super Dimentio desperately tried to get closer to her but Mimi would just shun it away. Mimi scratched Super Dimentio's nose. It made a small whimper of pain, bringing its head back. It stared at Mimi again.

"...No...!"

Anger flared up in Super Dimentio's eyes. It lifted it up its foot, getting ready to either stomp or kick Mimi. Fear rose in her eyes, for she couldn't tell what Super Dimentio's next move could be. But, she did not move, not even flinching. Super Dimentio hesitated.

"...No, I cannot let you betray me! You reject me and now I will kill you! I will kill you all!"

Super Dimentio wanted his foot to stomp her, but its leg would not move, only shake.

"But I...can't...Why can't I move my leg? Why don't I have control of my movements?"

Mixed emotions went through its eyes.

"Mimi..."

Super Dimentio let out a loud cry. Mimi gasped as its whole body began to burn from the inside.

"...My..." Super Dimentio chocked up its words, "...my chest, my heart...What is happening?"

Super Dimentio let out another cry of agony. The Pure Hearts flew up towards it, causing its pain to grow more. Mimi stepped back.

"W-what's happening?"

"...It's the Pure Hearts."

Everyone gasped and turned to Count Bleck, who was now trying to stand up.

"The Chaos Heart is reacting to the tiny bit of humanity Dimentio had left in his heart," Count Bleck explained. "The Chaos Heart was created out of the evil of humanity. It relies on hatred, anger, suffering, and loneliness to survive. Dimentio merged himself, his soul, with the Chaos Heart and its host. And now..."

"And now he is destroying himself," Tippi finished. "Because there is still one thing Dimentio loves in this world."

"Arghaaaaaaaaaa!"

The Pure Hearts grew stronger and brighter as Super Dimentio's body started to fall apart.

"N-no!" Super Dimentio cried. "I cannot die now! I will have my perfect world, I will! I'll finally be..."

Before it could finish its rant, Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Tippi all approached the Pure Hearts. As if commanding it, they willed the Pure Hearts to destroy it. Slowly, the Chaos Heart could be seen within Super Dimentio. It was burning up in a black flame, becoming smaller and smaller. Super Dimentio's body was now completely falling apart, its limbs burning away.

"...N-no...!"

Eventually, the Chaos Heart became a small burning fragment and all was left of Super Dimentio was its head. It fell before the heroes, twitching wildly.

"No...h-how...?" Super Dimentio began to mumble.

Its eyes turned to Mimi, who hadn't moved a muscle.

"...Mimi..."

Mimi slowly approached it, but she said nothing. No one spoke, for no one knew what would happened next. Super Dimentio began to wheeze. Suddenly, its eyes grew huge and the Chaos Heart began to glow black.

"No, I will not let it end like this!" Super Dimentio screamed hysterically. "This is not the end! You cannot escape the destruction! The Void is big enough to destroy everyone and everything, even without someone controlling the Chaos Heart! You will all die, die and burn in hell! The flames burning off the flesh of your face..."

Super Dimentio glanced over at Mimi for a long moment, and then turned to everyone else.

"Ciao!"

With one last insane laugh, Super Dimentio's head exploded and Luigi popped out of its mouth.

"Luigi!"

Luigi slowly stood up, blinking.

"I...err...my head..."

He slowly approached Mario and the others.

"Mario, everyone, I'm so sorry for what I, what Dimentio..."

"It's okay, Luigi," Peach said sympathetically. "You are safe now, and that's all that matters."

A large earthquake cut her off as parts of the training room started to crumble and break.

"The end of all worlds is still taking place," Mimi said.

"So defeating Dimentio wasn't enough?" Bowser questioned.

"It would have, but a tiny part of Dimentio's spirit is still controlling it," Count Bleck explained. "However, there is one way to stop The Void."

"Then we must do it!" O'Chunks exclaimed. "We can't let all the words be destroyed!"

A sad look appeared on Count Bleck's face for a second, but it quickly faded away.

"Then follow me."

Using his power, he made a door appear inside the room. He, Tippi, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, O'Chunks, and Mimi walked inside. Upon the other side was a huge white dome with a gorgeous wedding chapel inside it. Peach and Bowser gasped.

"Wait a minute..." Luigi said softly, gazing at its beauty. "This is the same place the Chaos Heart was created! Where Bowser and the princess were..."

Mario and Peach gave him a dark look.

"...were temporarily married."

Bowser growled in reply.

"Yes, and it's the birth place of the Chaos Heart," Count Bleck added. "The place where it all began."

He turned to Tippi.

"Timpani, even after all that I've done, do you still..."

His voice cracked.

"...Do you still love me?"

Tippi smiled.

"Of course I do, Blumiere. Nothing could make me stop loving you. Not even the end of the world."

Count Bleck gave a small smile.

"Then come with me. From the look in your eyes, I think you know what we must do."

"Wait, count!" O'Chunks exclaimed. "What are you saying?"

"I'm saying I'm making up for my actions, for what I've put you all through," Count Bleck explained. "I'm going to stop The Void by using the Pure Hearts to banish it and the remains of the Chaos Heart. It requires the power of true love to do it, something that I am lucky enough to possess. But in its effect..."

"Blumiere and I will cease to exist."

Everyone gasped.

"Wait, you're going to die!" Mimi cried. "But you can't! You just got reunited with your love, you can be happy! You can't just..."

Mimi began to cry. Count Bleck smiled, a tear in his eye.

"My loyal minions. I'm sorry that I've caused you all this suffering and pain. You almost died because of it."

"But we're not dead! And we aren't suffering!"

"But you were. O'Chunks and Bowser would have died if I didn't heal them when I found them, Peach too. Nastasia is dead, but with the power of the Pure Hearts, I will bring her a second chance at life, without me haunting and imprisoning her. I almost drove Luigi to insanity and help cause mental scarring to you, Mimi. And I...ruined Dimentio's life. Because of me, he became what he is. You minions were the only things that kept the little humanity I had left. And now that I have Timpani, I wish to make sure my last acts are for the greater good, and not for evil."

Count Bleck started to make his way to the altar, Tippi flying beside him. Mimi shook with grief, about to run up to her count before O'Chunks held her back. She glanced back at her friend, who's eyes were filled with tears. From that silent look, Mimi calmed herself down and watched as Count Bleck and Tippi made their vows, told each other of their eternal love, and used the Pure Hearts last remaining power.

Their bodies faded into white as The Void became smaller and smaller. Slowly, they faded away completely and the Pure Hearts vanished as well. The Void disappeared from the bright blue sky as life and hope reached out to all the worlds and the people who had suffered from the destruction.

For it was finally over. The dark prophecy of the Dark Prognosticus has been undone forever.
