Chapter 26: Make me feel free again

That night Ash and May sat down and had a meal of noodles, May's favourite. They then picked out one of the movies Ash had and watched it. It was a comedy about a trainer and his talking Ditto that got him in to lots of trouble with his girlfriend a simple concept but it made both of them laugh. May seemed to laugh the most out of the both of them a comfort and sign to Ash that she truly had moved on. Pikachu and Glaceon both rested on a Snorlax beanbag and by the time the movie was over they had fallen asleep. May repositioned each of them so they would sleep sounder and then decided along with Ash that it was time for bed.

"If it's alright I'll take a shower first?" May asked.

"That's fine with me I've got some work to do anyway." Ash smiled as he and May went to their separate rooms.

Ash got on his computer and started doing his work while May went and had a shower. Ash's room was right next to the bathroom while May's room was down the hall, not long after Ash heard the water turn off he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." Ash replied.

The door opened and May came in with one towel wrapped around her hair and another one around her mid-section, leaving very little to the imagination.

"Bathrooms all yours." May smiled holding the towel to the side of her bust.

"Um thanks." Ash responded trying to not sound surprised to see May standing there in such a state.

May smiled and then walked down the hall, Ash shook his head when he realised he was watching her walk away.

Ash then got up and had his shower his mind kept turning back to the night in the Pokémon Centre, the one that had ultimately bound them. Ash pushed these thoughts away and finished his shower, the answers to these questions were mostly for May to decide, right now he was just there to help her get back on her feet.

With that Ash leaned in and kissed her gently, it was slow and barely touching something that they both needed at that moment. As they pulled away once more Ash tentatively moved some of the hair away from May's cheek and caressed her cheek slowly making her smile softly.

The two of them could have gazed at each other for hours but now both of them were tired, after what they had just gone through it was no surprise.

As Ash's eyes began to drop May held his hand in her own, tomorrow morning she wouldn't wake up ashamed and confused. This time she would wake up next to the man she knew she was in love with.

Sorry for the wait I got pretty sick and had tons of work to do when I wasn't sick and for some reason it takes me ages to write Lemons. I don't think this one turned out as good as the last one but I tried to make it different so I'll leave that up to you guys. Now then 'one final chapter remains'.
