Summary: Kagome was innocent! She really only wanted to grab something from her potions masters storeroom then leave she never thought she would end up in the position she was in. On the ground, with her Professor hovering over her, sharp teeth barred as he licked her cut fingers in hunger. Kagome knew she was in trouble then.

Chapter Three

Severus Snape looked at the girl that was unconscious in his bed. He never thought this day would come. He always thought he would be alone...he had fallen in love once...but knew she would never be his.

Severus Snape was a creature. Not any creature, but a dark creature. Most dark creatures have mates, and these mates are the only ones that complete them. It was because of this reason he never got married or got a lover. He was waiting for his mate.

...and to have his mate turn up...as his student no less was something he wasn't sure on how to go about.

He never noticed this girl before, he really didn't pay much attention to many of his students...that and he never smelt her blood before...the other reason could be she came into her majority.

Looking back down at the sleeping girl, he had a feeling she just came into her majority, or as the muggle borns call it, they were adults and could do magic whenever they want.

"Mipsy" Severus called, and not even a second later a 'pop' sounded in the room as a house elf appeared.

"How can Mipsy help Master Snape?" the squeaky voice of the house elf asked as her ears twitched, waiting to be ordered around.

Severus sighed, "I need you to find out who this girl is...and do it fast."

Mipsy's ears twitched as she looked at the girl, " AH! Miss 'Gome!"

This through Severus off as he looked at the house elf, "You know her?"

The house elf nodded, "Miss 'Gome likes to spend time in the kitchens, that she does. All house elves of Hogwarts know the Miss!"

Severus gave a small humm at this, "What is her full name." It was a demand, and the house elf knew it.

"Miss Kagome Higurashi." Mipsy supplied not saying anything else afterwards.

Severus nodded, "You may leave now." He had what he needed, now he needed to go make a fire call. He had to work fast before the Headmaster found out what had transpired tonight.

The house elf bowed and left with a soft 'pop' leaving Severus to his own thoughts.

Severus frowned as he gave one final glance at the person sleeping in his bed before making his way into the main living area. He made his way to the fireplace and sighed as he knew what he had to do.

First thing first though, he needed to make sure sure Dumbledore couldn't take the girl away from him.

Dumbledore wanted his spy detached from everyone and everything, and if he found out he had a mate now...well...that wouldn't be a good thing. He still needed to talk to ...Kagome...when she woke up, but first he needed to make sure everything was secure and there was no way she could be taken from him.

He knew he would have to keep things quiet till he had everything planned out...he wasn't a Slytherin for nothing...

Leaning down Severus put his head into the fire as he called out the name of a person he knew that would help him, "Lucius Malfoy!"
