The Misunderstanding

~At Izuki's hospital room~

*the door slid open*

"Hyuuga?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"You could've told me you were coming."

"I wasn't intending to come here today, but since Riko called me and told me about her situation there, I took a detour here."

"Situation? What situation?"

Hyuuga scratches his head before asking, "Izuki, how do you feel about Kuroko injuring your arm?"

"Wah… asking this type of question out of nowhere."

"Well?"

Izuki looked outside the window, "I don't know myself, I mean, I might be angry with Kuroko for injuring me, but it's also my own fault for not paying close attention."

"I see, now I just need to think of a way to get Kuroko here…"

"Why, did something happen to him?"

"He's afraid."

"Afraid of what?"

"He's afraid of you."

"Why?!"

"It seems he has a trauma that was caused by an incident way back when he was still in Kindergarten. Something happened to his childhood friend, and he's now afraid of hurting anyone."

"Do you know the name of that childhood friend of his?"

"If I remember correctly…it's Koyama Yui…or was it Koyama Aoi…"

"Erm…Hyuuga, you don't have to guess anymore, I know them both. They're my cousins. The one you guys were talking about is probably Yui, since she's the same age as Kuroko. On the other hand, Aoi, Yui's sister is 4 years older than them. So apparently your wild guess is good."

"They're you're cousins? I'm pretty sure that means that you have their phone numbers, don't you?"

"Yeah, I do. You want me to ask for a meet-up with them?"

"I think I'd save the meet-up from when you recover, you'll be discharged tomorrow right?

"Yeah…you want to surprise Kuroko?"

"Yeah, in a way that we'll bring an end to his trauma and fear." Hyuuga smirked in a way that looked evil but instead deep within was one of a caring brother.

"I got you, let's start planning"

Izuki took out a notebook from the side along with a pen.

"Where'd you get that from?"

"Aoi gave it to me the last time she visited, I received it along with a headlock."

"Wow, I'm amazed about different things."

"Well, let's start planning."

~The Next Day~

"Yo what's up guys, let's start the training."

*The gym door slid open*

"Izuki, glad you made it." Hyuuga waved at Izuki, inviting him to come in.

Kuroko's eyes widened, and before he could run away, he heard a familiar voice, "Tetsuya-chan?"

The only thing Kuroko could hear was the running footsteps, and the only thing he felt was a familiar tight and warm hug. Kuroko didn't even have to turn around to know who that was.

"Yui-chan. I'm so glad to see you again." Kuroko smiled, turned around and delivered a straight hug to her.

"I haven't seen this scene for 10 whole years, though, it still looks the same." Aoi's voice echoed through the gym.

"So I guess you've also met Kuroko before, Aoi-nee?" Izuki questioned Aoi before getting a death-defying headlock.

"Of course, I wouldn't let just anyone get near my sister so easily. Especially since, he's the only boy capable of making Yui defy me"

"Then why did you let Kuroko?"

"Those two wouldn't leave each other alone even after I try separating them."

Kuroko then spoke to Yui, whose head was leaning on Kuroko's, "Yui, so what happened back then?"

Yui hugged Kuroko tighter, "That time, I stood in front of you to get hit instead of just watching you get hit."

Kuroko felt Yui's hair with his hand, "I mean after that…"

"After that? I woke up about one week after you left for Tokyo, from what I heard from Aoi-nee, I thought I'd never see you again…"

"Yui, we've met, you're alive, I'm alive, we're together, isn't that great?"

Yui nodded while smiling towards Aoi.

The other members that were unaware of this situation just stood there in shock.

"Ah…are they allowed to be that close to each other?" Izuki broke the silence, which at the same time made Aoi realize that Kuroko's face is like 1cm away from Yui's.

"Hey, Kuroko, not so close to my sister, she's too innocent for you."

Yui then pouted, "Tetsuya is also innocent, and way better than the fact that you had been head locking Izuki-nii for the past 5 minutes we were talking."

Aoi then released the headlock and said, "If there are any more conversations going on, let's continue it at my house."

Everyone in the gym agreed.

"Ah…Aoi-nee, can we do a sleepover?" Kuroko went in front of Aoi and stared.

Aoi nodded as she took a while to figure out that Kuroko has a weak presence to the point even she did not notice Kuroko walking towards her.

Aki : And this is Chapter 10 : The Misunderstanding ,I did say it would be quick hahaha

Haru : Yup, and Aki even typed all of this on the same day as she posted Chapter 9

Aki : I was kinda excited

Haru : Oh well, now you'll have to wait for the next Chapter which will be coming out soon

Aki : And the next Chapter will either be the last one or the second last one

Haru : Seeya all soon
