AN: And here it is! The long awaited "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!" chapter~ And, really- Friggin' peanuts, this is very very very late I know, partly I have my dad to blame 'cause he went and took my lappy for a business trip 2 weeks ago. (I can practically imagine him opening a 'hidden' folder accidentally during a meeting. Oh that would be hilarious! Okay, so I'm evil. /shot) As an apology I made this a bit longer than the rest and I decided to bring back the Omake, and there's two Omakes! \(^q^)/
As usual, I don't even know how this happened but... Meh.
And again, although many babies there says my grammar's fine, I'm still not very confident in my writing- So if there are cute 'lil Beta Readers there, please shower me with your guidance! *Insert heavenly music here*
Again I'm really sorry. /rolls away wailing

Chapter 8: Reasons
"Fuck."
Three people were frozen on their spot as silence resonated the four corners of Kuroko's hold, the tall ganguro-like teen color diminished into an unhealthy tan as he felt himself sinking deeper into the blunette's blank eyes.
Kise excused himself, who too, was unsure of what to do.
"If Akashicchi knows of this; even if I didn't do anything- I'm probably dead too." the blonde inwardly groans
After Kise's leave Aomine swallowed a lump in his throat and started to sweat- Well, really hard; he was practically sweating bullets by now.
"..."
"Uhh..."
"So? Now that I know of your identity will you punish me to silence? Or... Kill me, like those in mainstream dramas and movies?"
"Th-the heck? No!
...But, I'd appreciate if you'd keep quiet about this."
"Mm, I find that quite hard."
Aomine scratched his head with a frustrated sigh.
"You are Aomine Daiki, the basketball prodigy. You appeared on various magazines and even ads, I doubt that they don't pay you enough?"
"They do."
Kuroko was now confused at this point.
"Well you see we're just sixteen."
"And?" "Oh, so they're the same age as I am."
"Here's the thing, I want you to come with me."
"And you expect me to comply?"
"You're curious right?"
"Did it not cross your mind that I might escape?"
"Of course. But..."
"But?"
"You don't want to anger Aka." Aomine briefly replies as he exits the room before closing the door shut.
Kuroko's POV
Okay so I don't know what's happening. First I get kidnapped; Second, my kindappers are, apparently; either crazy teens who don't have anything to do with their life or they just have a few loose screws; Lastly, here I am now inside a van wherein I don't even know where we're going. Oh and another thing, let's not forget that almost the whole Japanese police is looking for me.
We went out an hour ago after Aomine-san went back and gave me a pair of jeans and a black hoodie. Probably to hide me. He doesn't need to actually, people don't even notice me- So I doubt that the police can even find me even if I were to casually walk downtown.
That aside, I think we have arrived. Aomine-san opened the door and signaled me to come with him. I slowly took a step outside and squinted as my eyes contacted with sunlight. I really wonder how long I have been kept.
After blinking a few times I realized that we were in front of a wide but not tall structure. It was...
"An orphanage...?" I breathed out.
"We run this place." he grins
Normal POV
"You run this place?" Kuroko repeats, clearly exhilarated
"Not just me, us- Aka, Midori, Murasaki, and Kise."
"Aren't orphanages usually supported by the government?"
"Well, yeah. But this is a bit different," he answers. Before the blunette could speak up Aomine looped an arm around the pale teen's shoulder.
"What are you doing Aomine-san? ... And your'e heavy." the blunette deadpans
"This is a substitute for the handcuffs," Aomine cheekily grins "Let's go Tetsu."
Kuroko was being practically dragged my Aomine, much to his indignation. They entered the establishment then two women; probably the caretakers, bowed to greet them. Stopping at a certain classroom, Aomine looked intently at the boy beside him.
"Don't even try to run away, okay?"
The blunette only nods. How many times does he plan to say that, either way he can't outrun him even if he musters all his strength and stamina. The taller one turned the knob and gently opened the door, the moment he stepped in, children's giggles and clamor rapped the teens' ears.
"Daiki-niichan!" a little brunette greets
"Yay~ Dai-nii's here!" another follows, and so on
"Hey there 'lil squirts." Aomine fondly greets back "I have a friend with me here today."
"Is it Ryou-chan?" one asks
"I bet it's Atsushi-oniichan!" a little girl in twin-tails lilts
"Nope, it's someone... New."
Meanwhile, Kuroko was just standing in the door's sill while warmly looking at the adorable beings bouncing and giggling about. It had always been his dream to have a little brother. Because of his weak body, he wasn't allowed to go to school nor play outside; basically, he did not have any friends- So it's fun for him to look at the innocent children laughing and playing without a care in the world. Aomine noticed Kuroko staring at them. He extended his hands and urged Kuroko to take it.
"C'mere Tetsu."
Kuroko reluctantly takes the hand but complies nonetheless. The kids somehow saw him instantly the moment his hands touched Aomine's.
"This is our new friend, Kuroko Tetsuya. Don't play too rough 'kay?"
Apparently Aomine was ignored and the kids came rushing and greeting from Kuroko's right and left.
"Friend..." Kuroko lightens up on that one word and began emitting invisible sparkles from every direction, although his expression remained the same. Aomine just shot a confused look seeing the latter somewhat stared into space, it was cute for him though.
"Uwaaaah~! Where did he come from~?!"
"Teehee, hair so fluffy~"
"Neh, neh~ Play with me Onii-san!"
Some were tugging his shirt and some were clinging on his leg and a little girl started patting him.
"Hey! I told you guys to go easy!"
"Buu~" the kids pouted
"It's okay. I'll play with you guys, as long as all of you will behave." Kuroko says before kneeling in front of the children. "Okay?"
"Haaaai!" they chorused.
After hours of playing, the bunch got tired and surprisingly, Kuroko had put them to sleep instantly. Heck, he can't even put them to sleep when they're all hyperactive. Kuroko was sitting in the playground area in a double swing who stared at his feet for no apparent reason. Aomine took the liberty of approaching the pale teen, knocking on the swing's roof twice.
"Mind if I join you?"
"Go ahead."
The air was silent again except for the birds chirping and a few whirring of cars.
"Aomine-san, I still don't get why you kidnap people." the blunette mumbles enough for Aomine to hear it
"We use the money to fund this orphanage." the other simply answers
"Don't you get paid enough?"
"I don't."
"How come?"
"My money does not completely belong to me, my parents keep it; for saving purposes. They say that I'm too young to handle that much cash." he shrugs
"But that doesn't mean you have to kidnap people's sons and daughters."
Aomine stared at him blankly before resting his head atop of the back of the swing's chair.
"Did you know that these children are rich to begin with?"
Kuroko was now confused. "What?"
"They were thrown and abandoned by their parents."
"...And?"
"The ones we rob off from are the parents of the kids here."
"WHAT." Kuroko finally faced Aomine his eyes, slightly widened much to the others liking.
"How did you even know?" Kuroko asks even though he found the whole thing unbelievable
"We're pretty much rich kids, that's all I can tell you."
"If so then why do you do these things?!" the blunette was now awfully confused, his tone raising an octave higher as his fists clenched tightly that it hurt
"We don't want to be like those other teens we took."
"Teens? They don't kidnap kids?" Kuroko's hands relaxed a bit but the trembling remained. "What do you mean?"
"Those rich brats were all spoiled and arrogant as shit, they we're hiding behind their parent's back yet they hung their head high like assholes. We're brats ourselves but we won't dare raise our head and stand proudly when all we do is brag about our wealth and status. They didn't have the right in the first place, these kids do... And for some reasons we can't ask for the government's aid nor from our parents, adults cannot be trusted. We'd be more relieved if we take care of this place ourselves." Aomine huffs "Call us twisted, but we just can't accept the fact that these rich bastards were drowning in money while they just leave their child like garbage, we're giving them what's theirs."
The blunette just stayed silent, his eyes never leaving the taller ones. As Aomine explained himself, his hands stopped trembling and his shoulders relaxed.
"Am I one of those rich brats?" he asks, a slight playful tone evident in his voice
"No." Aomine smirks
The pale teen tilts his head to the side, a habit of his when he's curious
"We were curious." he bluntly answers
"Aomine-san, do you know the famous proverb "Curiosity killed the cat"?" Kuroko retorts
"Were not cats though." Aomine smirks. Kuroko just rolled his eyes and sighed.
"I cannot say that I can just accept this; both are in the wrong, but it is not for me to judge," His cerulean irises shone in their shaded swing that made the taller one's breath hitch "I hope the money you'll receive can be of help here." he smiles
The latter could only smile back.
Omake
"That fucking ganguro," Midori seethed "How the hell did he forgot to put on a mask?!"
"Shintaro- language." he too was angry, but of course, being the leader of the group he should keep his cool at all times.
Midori replied with a grumble as he violently seats on the chair in front of Akashi's desk.
"First, we need to think of a way on how to handle this situation; especially Tetsuya." he calmly says
Meanwhile a frantic Kise abruptly enters the room and ran towards the two fuming teens.
"Ryouta, did I not tell you to knock before you enter someone's room?" the deadly aura around him darkens even more
"I-I'm sorry Akashicchi, but- but- but-!"
"What is it?!" the green-head's patience now snapped
"I saw this at Kurokocchi's room, and they weren't there... Aominecchi and Kurokocchi." Kise explains before handing a small piece of paper to Akashi
An unruly handwriting is indeed Daiki's.
'I'm taking him to the orphanage.' it says
(Translation: I'm taking him on a date. *Aka Vision*)
Aka's eyes glinted menacingly as his fists balled up that crumpled the innocent piece of paper.
"That fucking ganguro..." he seethed
"Akashi, language." Midori scolds back
"Savor your time with Tetsuya, Daiki."
Meanwhile Kise was freaking out saying something like he saw a demon emitting from Akashi and Midori was chanting something Aka didn't bother hearing. Maybe he's praying for Daiki... Or cursing someone.
Omake 2
After saying goodbyes to the kids (some begging for the lovable blunette to not leave), Aomine walked by Kuroko's side. They were about to go out the main door when they were stopped by a loud call.
"Onii-saaan!" a boy around his sevens came running to him holding a flower. Kuroko turned to the boy and knelt in front of him.
"What's the matter Sho-kun?" the blunette asks
"PLEASE BE MY BRIDE IN THE FUTURE!" the boy avows as he hands the flower to the teen. The child's face was red as a tomato and his tiny figure was clearly trembling, it made the pale teen's heart flutter.
"How innocently cute." Kuroko thought, he took the flower and the boy perked up
"Thank you, I like Sho-kun too. But; I'm sure when Sho-kun grows up he will find a much, much better person than Onii-san. That is why Sho-kun must first, grow and grow, and then be an adult. When that time comes, Onii-san will gladly meet that special someone."
The boy's head hung low. Feeling sorry for him, Kuroko patted the boy's head.
"Fine. If that's what Onii-san says! Although I still like Onii-san!" the boy giggled and pounced on the teen who was taken aback. A smile was plastered on the blunette's face as he hugged the boy back. "Kids really are innocent."
Meanwhile, Aomine watched the whole scene as if it were a movie. He didn't like the feeling of being a kid, but... Oh how he wants to be one now.
Heck, he wasn't even that close to the blunette yet the kid just runs up to Tetsu then proposes like that?! He wanted to step in like an immature piece of prick, but his Tetsu's face was too-
"Aomine-san, your nose is bleeding."
"Shit, was it?"
Yay! I was finally able to post it! Anyway, what Akashi's vision said was the truth. He's absolute after all~ *Shrug*
