Jason Pov

After I kissed piper on the cheek and walked out the door, I headed toward the cafeteria. When I walked in I saw everyone already sitting at a table. As I walked, I noticed people staring, whispering, and pointing.

"Hey guys. How's your first day going so far?" I asked as I sat down. All of them groaned.

"We all have this stupid 'get-to-know-each-other' project in English. The whole school is doing it. I'm paired with a girl named, Emma Solace. She's in like all of my classes." Eli sighed

"I'm with a girl, Annabeth Chase. She freaked out when I got paired with her." Percy rubbed his temples.

Thalia looked angry "I'm with this Luke guy, I hate him."

"How can you already hate someone?" I asked

"He was acting like he owned the school. Nico got a boy named Will Solace which must be Emma's brother. Their all coming over after school today cause we want to get this over with."

"I have English class next so that's must when I get a partner. I'll ask him/her to come over to." Right then the bell rang. 'Wow that was short.' I thought.

I said bye to them and walked off with Bianca. When we got to English I sat down in the back with Bianca next to me. After everyone was in the teacher told us about the project then she got to the partners. I didn't pay attention until she called my name. "Jason Grace with Piper McLean and Bianca di Angelo with Rachel Dare. Now everyone go sit with your partner." Piper and Rachel slowly walked over to us. Piper was to my left and Bianca to right and Rachel on the other side of her. "This is where you sit every day from now on, until I say so." She started to hand out some papers when I turned to piper.

"Do you want to come over to my house today after school? All of our cousins are having their partners over today to so that's means you to Rachel." I looked over Bianca at Rachel, she nodded her head.

"Ok, where are we going to meet up?" Piper asked

"At the front doors at 2:30 so take your time getting there." They all nodded. For the rest of the period we just talked and filled out the work sheet the teacher gave us.

-After school-

Thalia's pov

We were waiting at the front doors for our partners to show up. It was 2:25, they weren't late but they could hurry themselves up, I was getting tired of waiting.

It was right at 2:30 when they showed up. "Alright lets go." Percy led the way. We had to take the limo again which luckily fit all of us. None of us talked, the only thing that could be heard was the radio and the music from Eli's earphones. I don't understand how she could listen to music that loud, and that's saying something coming from me.

We finally pulled up a couple of minutes later and headed up to the top floor. When we opened the door everyone gasped when they saw the place. Me and my brother and cousins laughed. We lead them to the living room where we got to work with our partners. Our partners watched in shock when Eli put on some glasses. "What? Even models have bad vision."

Luke and I only talked when needed; Percy and Annabeth were the same. Eli and Emma were talking up a storm; they acted like they've been best friends since childhood. Nico and Will and Bianca and Rachel were ok; talking more but not as much as Eli and Emma. I could see Will and Eli steal glances at each other, when they caught eye contact they quickly looked away and blushed.

We were interrupted when Aphrodite, our manger, burst through the door. "Hello, my beautiful models! I have some new jobs for yo-" she stopped when she saw everyone else. I could hear piper ask 'Mom?' "What's going on here?"

"School project." Nico said still working on what he was doing.

"Oh, I won't take long. I just got some new jobs for you. Jason: Modeling for new clothing design. Thalia: same as Jason. Nico: Commercial for the new iPhone. Oh here are your new phones in this bag. Bianca I need you to design a clothing line for Eli and Percy. Eli: You're going to be a main character in a movie and also sing in that movie and modeling in Times Square one of your friends, Calypso. Percy: you're the also a main character in that movie and you'll be playing the guitar. Ok bye everyone, I'll send all the information later. See you at home Piper." She set down a bag that must have our new phones in it.

Eli grabbed the bag a pulled out a Blue iPhone C. She handed Percy the green one, Bianca the pink, Jason and Nico white ones and me a yellow one. We set them aside tried to get back to work, everyone was in silence.

Emma's pov

I felt so bad. All we did today was bash on them and how good their life must be. Just by hearing what they had to do wore me out. Eli gave a frustrated cry, got up and went up the stairs. I heard a door slam so she must have gone to her room.

"Sorry for Eli, she gets mad when Aphrodite or our parents just plan stuff without us even having a word of what we're doing. It wasn't even our idea to come out here. We knew they were going to make us move weather or not liked it, so we went ahead and agreed." Percy explained.

We had all wrong about them. "It's ok. We have parent issues ask any of us. Will and I hardly see ours same with Luke over there." I sighed

"Ever since my dad got remarried and had twins with her, we've grown more distant, and Helen hates me, which I don't give a flying fuck." Annabeth said and rolled her eyes.

Rachel finally talked. "I see my dad maybe once a week and when I do all he does is bitch at me." We laughed. We heard a door open and Eli came down with a sketchpad and some markers and colored pencils.

"Sorry my door slammed I forgot my window was open." She smiled "I like to draw when I'm upset so while I draw we'll do some questions, ok?" I nodded. She said she loved art in gym that morning but I thought she was just saying the first thing that came to mind.

On the other side of the table I heard Luke's and Thalia's conversation "Thalia?"

"Yes Luke?" she looked over at him with eyebrows raised.

"I know we got off on a really bad start, so can we start over?" he pleaded

Thalia thought for a moment "Ok I guess."

Percy and Annabeth were talking just like how I and Elizabeth were a while ago. Nico and Will were making real progress. Bianca and Rachel were talking about the clothing line. Jason and piper were flirting which Thalia pointed out which made them blush. Will was looking at Eli with a longing gaze, he caught me staring at him staring and he blushed.

It was then I knew that all of us and my other friends at school were going to be great friends.
