Chapter 2

Takato stares at the drawing of a digimon he was creating, still wondering about the girl he'd seen thrice more since the first time and he had yet to actually meet her. Maybe once school started he would. He pauses to look at his deck briefly before he looks at the time and rolls his shoulders. For his parents he acted like a good little boy while in actuality he fought underground. He grabs his bag while listening carefully to make sure his parents are asleep before slipping out his bedroom window. It was time to have some fun.

Taiyō looks up at the Moon and sighs, why couldn't she remember anything after the confrontation she had with her mother succeeding Metalia's attack? She remembered her true prince fighting at her side barely. What happened that someone didn't want her knowing? " Hime, the time is coming, you can sense it, right? " Naru asks softly.

" Hai, I can, Naru-chan, what do you remember about the final battle? "

" I died at Nephrite's hands while he was being controlled by Metallia. Nike was killed by Zoisite, Eos by Jadeite, and Dike by Kunzite. I remember just before that you used the Celestial Cage and Hazard's Prison was used in conjunction with it." Naru answers.

Taiyō's eyes widen in horror, " He saved me from Endymion only for my own mother to kill me. Sailor Sun was forced to kill Ryo while Uranus killed Henry, Mercury slaughtered Kenta, and Mars killed Kai. Kazuto managed to kill those three before Venus slayed him with the Sword of Artemis, Ryo's last act was to kill Venus with his Poleaxe even as he was sliced in half by Sailor Sun's halberd. I remember barely hearing the Shittenou pledging their lives and loyalty to me, I was only just hanging on, my last order was for Saturn to give us all another chance. "

Naru's eyes widen, " The queen killed you? "

" Hai, she did. Naru-chan, we need to find Ai-chan and get our henshin items. " Taiyō says definitively.

Minato Ward, Tokyo:

Sailor V sighs, how she hated the fact she had to play nice for now. It wouldn't be soon enough when she could put these pathetic ningen in their places. Artemis had no idea of her traitorous ways, " Venus, we meet again. "

" Kunzite, how did you find me? "

" Wasn't that hard, Sailor V. Things won't go down the same way twice, I promise you that. Jadeite is in place watching Mars, yes, we found her, Zoisite is watching Mercury, and Nephrite is watching over those we wish to protect. Neptune has Uranus well in hand as well. Endymion is of no concern right now. " Kunzite states firmly.

" Crescent Boomerang! "

Kunzite teleports away and Sailor V curses, Metalia had been unable to regain control of the Shittenou, this was not good.

Shinjuku:

Taiyō and Naru have snuck out to search for a red cat with an orange heart on her forehead. That was when Taiyō finds a mostly black cat that she recognized as BlackGatomon while Naru finds a creature that looks like a pink puppy with a golden collar around its neck. Two flashes of light appear and Taiyō blinks when she sees a white device with silver encircling the screen and a silver strap to attach it to a belt loop. Naru's is orange and white, " Taiyō-chan, what is going on here? "

" I think the digital world just called on us for help. Salamon, what's your evolutionary line? "

" Darcmon, Angewomon, and then Venusmon. "

" I see, BlackGatomon, I think we are going to be excellent partners. Now, have either one of you seen a red cat with an orange heart on her forehead, we need to find her immediately before the tragedies of the past can occur again. " Taiyō says softly but the two digimon felt the ramifications of her words.

" Follow me, I think I know where she is, Taiyō. " BlackGatomon says.

The girls follow the black and purple feline to a park bench and Naru gasps sharply in shock, " Ai-chan, daijobu-ka? "

" Run, trap. "

Taiyō spins on her heel and grabs her new D-Arc and a modify card, " Digi modify, Ikkakumon's Harpoon Torpedo activate. "

Naru's eyes widen, the slot was for scanning the cards of the digimon came. BlackGatomon followed that up with a Lightning Kick and then a Cat Tail. " Hime, Psyche, your time ends now. "

Naru snarls, Uranus, just what they didn't need. " Ai-chan, we need our henshin items. " Naru calls out.

" Hai. " Ai says and manages to perform a backflip.

Naru grabs her henshin wand, " Psyche Power Make Up! "

Uranus kicks BlackGatomon away, " Dammit, World Shaking! "

" Soul Stinger! "

Taiyō races over to Ai as Psyche keeps Uranus busy and grabs her phase dial, " Lunar Phase Shift…Crescent Style. "

Her gloves, bows, and adornments are the same, her skirt no longer has the stripes from Full Moon Style nor does she have the cape. Her bows are shorter however and her scarf is the same as well. Rather than stars she has circles instead, that was really the only changes. Senshi Moon's eyes narrow and in a burst of speed she disappears and slams a kick into Uranus' gut before nailing her with a solid uppercut, " Have you forgotten your place in your arrogance, Princess Haruka. "

Uranus curses, Senshi Moon was not someone you messed in any style. Crescent Style was more than enough to kick her ass. Uranus teleports away and Senshi Moon casts out with her senses before relaxing, " Psyche, you all right? "

" Hai, Moon. Let's grab our partners and Ai. We need to get out of here. "

" No need to leave on my account, Hime, Psyche. I'd love an opportunity to pay my sister back for killing me back then. "

They let their henshin's fade, " I'm Osaka Taiyō and this is my cousin, Osaka Naru. "

" I'm Wong Henry. I can teach you two the ropes of being Tamers while we compare notes on what we remember from back then. Kazuto and Kenta have been reborn as Kitigawa Kenta and Shioda Kazu. Ryo is known as the Digimon King Akiyama Ryo while Sailor Sun is the Digimon Queen Nonaka Rika. This is my partner Terriermon. "

" BlackGatomon is mine and Salamon is Naru-chan's. " Taiyō says.

" I see, so what do you remember? "

" All of it. Hoshi's last attack, Nyx, Nemesis, both dying at the same time. My mother killing me, Endymion coming at me and being saved by my true prince. I remember everything, Henry. " Taiyō says.

" Matsuki Takato, that's who he is now. " Henry says.

Taiyō's eyes widen, " I've just been missing him this entire time. How many remember what happened then? "

" Only us and the Shittenou plus Neptune. I don't know how Haruka got away from her. Can't forget Ai-chan, can I? " Henry states.

" He doesn't remember? "

" Yes and no. I think his subconscious is trying to show him the truth but, he never remembers when he wakes up. Seeing you would have to strike a chord with him. " Henry points out.

" I have been feeling someone watching me but, I never felt threatened by this. It was Takato watching me, tracing my path with his eyes. " Taiyō says.

" Pretty much, he's in Miss Asagi's class. "

" Then I'll see him at school tomorrow. " Taiyō says.

Underground Arena:

Hazard Strike smirks as he pile drives another opponent into the mat easily enough. Man, couldn't anyone offer up a decent challenge anymore? Hazard Strike's crimson eyes widen as a wave of power reaches him. He knew this…Serenity, Senshi Moon. Why would she have felt the need to henshin? He finally remembered, thankfully that was his last fight of the night, he collects his winnings and hides in a secluded and non-recorded in any way nook before teleporting off.

Park:

" Serenity, how do you get into so much trouble? "

" Osaka Taiyō now, Takato-kun. " Taiyō retorts, " How did you remember? "

" You henshined and I felt the wave of power, it unlocked the memories that were just below the surface. " Takato answers, " Now, all I have to do is get Ryo's ass back here. "

" Where did he disappear to anyhow? " Henry asks.

" Digiworld. Remember the Hazard is a power associated with Digiworld after all. " Takato points out.

" Right, you we chosen to wield it because you have the right temperament, you rarely lose your temper. " Henry states.

" Where are you from anyhow, Takato? " Naru asks.

Taiyō sighs and looks at Takato, they had never told the others for a reason. " I come from the Orion Galaxy, my planet is Dark Felidae. Unlike the rest of my people I don't have an animal form but, I still have the instincts that come from being born there. "

" Dark Felidae? Did the queen know? " Naru asks.

" Is your name still Naru? " Takato asks.

" Hai, Osaka Naru, Taiyō-chan's cousin. "

" No, not specifics, she only knew I came from the Orion System. Felidae is actually the head of the Orion system. " Takato admits.

" I just can't believe you never told us. " Henry says.

" With her court around all the time, how could I? " Takato demands.

Henry had to admit he had a point, " Did you inform Felidae of what your intentions were? " Naru asks, the digimon just listen, even Terriermon realized he needed to keep his mouth shut about all of this. Even the Digital World had heard about the final battle on the moon and how the Hazard Keeper fought to his death there.

" How did you die, Takato? " Terriermon asks, all of the Digital World had been wondering about that.

" Endymion went to kill Senshi Moon, Serenity-hime, and I used my body to stop the attack. " Takato answers.

" I couldn't destroy Metalia, Takato-kun, my mother killed me, so Metalia was only sealed by our combined power. " Taiyō says.

" Damn, that means we're going to have to finish what we started, aren't we? " Takato asks.

" Hell yes, I owe my sister for killing me. " Henry says.

" My dear Nephrite was forced to kill me. " Naru says.

" Sailor Sun was forced to kill Ryo, her scream once she came out of it, I'll never forget that. " Taiyō says softly.

" The Shittenou are keeping watch over certain problem people though Nephrite is watching over his soul. How Haruka slipped away from Michiru I don't know as Neptune is also awakened. " Henry says.

" We need to stay on our guard and we also need to train. " Naru points out.

" Meet me at the Circlet Game Center, the Shittenou created a training room there. There are five sim rooms and it also acts as a base. Zoisite generally mans the one in the Crown Game Center in the Minato Ward of Tokyo. School starts tomorrow so after school. Takato, Kazu and Kenta haven't awakened yet. I know Rika hasn't either, Ryo I'm not sure about. " Henry states.

Digital World:

Akiyama Ryo pauses in going through his Poleaxe katas, his prince had awakened. Takato, I have to stay in the digital world for now, my partner is too aggressive. If you truly need me I'll be there.

Understood, Ryo. Circlet Game Center if you need to train somewhere against opponents. There are apparently five sim rooms.

Ryo nods to himself, he might port there just to train against holographic enemies. Cyberdramon would be all right on his own long enough for him to get in some decent training sessions. He was happy his prince remembered and apparently so did Henry. He knew his Wildcat didn't yet, though being forced to kill him, that couldn't have been easy on her. Queen Serenity the IV had no right to do what she had.
