Chapter 13

BPOV

At school the next day Edward found me in the library during lunch. I was browsing through books when he snuck up behind me and tickled my sides. I jumped and squealed in surprise turning around to find him smirking at me.

"Don't scare me like that!" I hissed and smacked his chest.

He chuckled at my silliness and pulled me by my hand to a table with chairs.

"So I was thinking," he started looking into my eyes, "for your birthday, have you planned anything in particular?" he asked me.

"Well, not really. I hadn't really decided yet." I said looking down. I could never think properly when staring into his eyes.

"How about the two of us do something alone together? I'll take you out, maybe drink a little and just explore the night?" he asked me.

That little angelic voice in the back of my head was slowly dying as she tried to convince me to say no. Of course I didn't listen.

"Yeah, I'd love that. Sounds fun." I said smiling.

He smiled back at me and leaned in for a quick kiss. I kissed him back. It was like sparks flying.

"We should get to class." I said as we pulled away from each other.

"There's still a time," he said leaning in for more. I stopped him though.

"I know but I need to stop by my locker first so I'll see you in class, k?" I said getting up.

He nodded and walked out. I was about to leave when I saw someone in the corner of my eye. I turned to see who it was but I couldn't find anyone. I shrugged my shoulders and made my way to my locker.

Later that night I was laying on the couch watching TV with Nessie. She was reading a magazine while I flipped through channels. I settled on a nice romantic comedy.

"Bella?" Nessie said my name 10 minutes into the movie.

"Yeah?" I asked looking at her curiously.

"Who's this guy you met?" she asked sitting up.

I smiled just thinking about Edward. "He's just a guy." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"What's his name?" she pressed.

"It's a secret," I said winking at her.

"Come on! Please tell me," she begged.

I was shaking my head, about to reply when I heard Alice say, "I can tell you who it is."

We both turned to look at the doorway where Alice was standing leaning against the wall with her phone in her hand. She was glaring at me.

"What are you talking about Alice?" I asked confused.

"This." she simply said as she flashed her phone at me.

I looked at her phone and gasped at what I saw. It was a picture of Edward and I kissing in the Library earlier today.

"Where did you get this from?" I asked annoyed and angry.

"A little friend of mine sent it to me," she said, "and there's nothing stopping me from sending it to Mom and Dad."

"Don't you even dare!" I threatened getting up from the couch. Nessie was just staring on with wide eyes.

"Watch me," Alice said with a smirk about to push some buttons.

At that point I leapt off the couch and tackled Alice. Both Nessie and Alice gasped in shock. While Alice was in shock I managed to pin her down and tried grabbing the phone away from her.

"Give it to me!" I screamed pulling it.

"No!" she screamed back also pulling.

We went back and forth until Carlisle came down to see what the problem was.

"Girls! Girls!" Carlisle yelled to get our attention, "What is going on?" he asked looking down at the two of us in shock.

Alice and I stopped fighting but still held onto the phone. I looked down at her and silently begged with my eyes and mouthed "please" over and over again before she pushed me off of her and grabbed the phone.

We both got up and stood in front of Carlisle. Alice smirked.

"Nothing's going on daddy, Bella just wanted me to delete a photo I took earlier today," Alice said. Evil little bitch.

"What photo?" Carlisle asked.

Alice was about to respond but I beat her to it. "It's nothing. There's no picture. Alice and I were just being silly. Don't worry about it daddy, we were just playing. You can go back to your work now. I promise we won't make anymore noise." I said pushing Carlisle out of the door. He eventually left. I then turned to Alice.

"Delete the photo," I said glaring at her.

"No. First tell me what you were doing with Edward after I warned you not to associate with him." she said angrily.

"It's none of your business who I hang out with." I hissed back at her.

"Yes it is. I'm your sister. I'm trying to protect you." she argued.

"I'm old enough to protect myself." I said extremely pissed off with her.

"Oh really?" Alice rolled her eyes at me. "Fine then, just don't come running to me for help." she said and walked off.

"I won't." I said glaring at her and then walking up to my bedroom.

During the whole fight Nessie just sat there with her eyes wide and her mouth agape.
