Jinx's maniacal laughter echoed throughout the streets of Piltover as missiles spread down them. People ran out of shops, homes and building in fear and panic. The defense mechanisms of the city had no time to react this time. Her plan had been perfect in its chaos. Overworked, the systems were burnt out and the missiles had clear targets despite their chaotic trayectories… the automatized defense system Heimer had mounted during the week. Each phazon rail gun was obliterated throughout the city in minutes. Her aim was clear, but she was enjoying herself, smaller missiles, fireworks crashed and exploded on building walls damage wasn't considerable but repetitive blows brought walls down, broke windows and filled the streets with rubble and the injured.
Cait commanded people down to the high security bunkers down stairs, trying to calm them down. Her strong character and cold personality played at her forte as people saw in her a leader and protector, employing hologram drones and the specialized rescue robots the police force had (thanks to Heimer and Orianna) Cait was able to not only rescue, mobilize and save all the people trapped in the warzone the city had become but was slowly but surely getting people to safety.
The bunkers were made from a conjoined effort off all champions of Piltover and the League, they could withstand everything from any of the champion's attacks to actions from the League (a Stasis spell probably, like the one used in the Crystal Skar). They were constantly kept in top shapes and they extended for kilometers beneath the city. In essence, the bunkers, interconnected by tunnels, made a second city, an Underground Piltover with many housing locations and even an open market place, extensive vaults with resources and food (heavily guarded). Cait was thankful as all the tired Champions posted up in every one of the 18 entrances to the bunkers spread throughout the city: from the docks, to the once slums, to the core and higher segment of the city. She smiled, her face smudged with dust and dirt as each champion reported that things were going smooth but that they'd stay on watch. Smiling, she thanked each, filling them with new energy as they could all feel their combined strength, their determination to protect their city and the rarity of seeing Cait's gorgeous smile. With a blessing from each Champion, Cait sped off to catch up with Vi.
Vi stomped and wall hopped buildings, structured, rubble and missiles to keep track and pace of Jinx and her spray-painted zeppelin to have a green shark with gaping jaws on its sides. Goggles on, though her right one was cracked, she was serious and determined.
Jinx: Come on VI! YOU ARE FASTER THAT THAT!
Attacks on her were personal…as she had expected, Jinx was indeed after her. She didn't mind though, dodging bullets and missiles weren't a new thing for her and over the course of the week she had reinforced her armor and gloves, crushing missiles with her hand were now a possibility and she made sure to show off before jinx, taunting her, provoking her. With each provocation Jinx grew bewildered, excited, her laughter and assaults intensified as they drew closer and closer to the Piltover Bank.
When they reached the Bank, the zeppelin came to a sharp hault over the structure. Vi simply walked into view, catching her breath and dusting her goggles off. It was showtime…or so she thought. The zeppelin's behind opened and figures hoped from behind. Rescue robots from the police force…or they were once rescue robots. Spray-painted and armed with piston arms with spiked boxing hands they were haywired and reprogrammed. It wasn't a clean job, the robot seemed to behave erratic and inefficiently, yet their numbers were overwhelming. Vi grounded herself, going into a battle ready stance as she eyes the army of robots walking towards her.
Jinx: Hey Sis! Hope you don't mind my friends. I kinda…have a thing to do?
She points at the bank with a hop.
Jinx: So…
She salutes in a marine fashion and does a wide army step forward while sticking her tongue out.
Jinx: Smell ya later!
She laughs maniacally as she runs into the building, her jet blue hair trailing behind her. Vi gritted her teeth and quickly got enraged…she wasn't able to stop her…not even for a second.
Vi: Come back here!
She plows through the first line of robots with a Vault Breaker and quickly find herself getting jumped on by other bots and her socking them into pieces as she fought her way towards the building. It was a long way, but Vi was not going to let her sister win…she was not going to fail…not again…not to Cait. She was going to prove to both of them she made the right choice…that crime never pays.
Cait runs, moving her hand to hold her top-hat in place every once in a while. Her physical resistance was low, worn down by the last days but she knew she couldn't stop…she had a duty, a responsibility…she had Vi. She knew she could trust Vi in doing her job…they were both efficient and goal oriented individuals. More so, she knew Vi was not a quitter nor one to back down from a challenge regardless how big their opponent is. But…it was different this time, it felt different. As Cait turned another corner, a block away from Piltover's bank, and after jumping rumble and ducking falling debris from the onslaught of missiles she clenched her chest. She felt something was wrong.
As the plaza opened before her, Cait froze. Catching her breath, she lifts a hand to her mouth to cover an awestruck expression. A pile of robotic corpses spread throughout the plaza, mangled, pulverized, destroyed, stood before her and at the far end…Vi. Cait bolted towards her, glad to see she was…fine…for the most part. Despite her absolute desire to tackle her in joy Cait grew serious and simply stood before her, worried and alarmed as her emotions faded and gave way for rationality.
Vi seemed exhausted, her goggles were broken and her gear was steaming- overheated and wore down. She was trying to mend some broken valves and broken pieces to ensure her gear's efficiency. As Cait stood before her, she smiled as she opened and closed one of her hands- it seemed to be perfectly fine now.
Vi: Hey cupcake
Cait: What happened?!
Vi: Yeah… 'parently engineering runs in tha family
She joked nervously to which Cait grew more alarmed.
Cait: You mean…she…
Vi: Reprogrammed them, haywired them... turned them against us…armed to the teeth I may add. Oww…
Vi grabs her right ribs to which Cait moves toward her in a bolt of reaction. She places a hand over Vi's injured area and frowns as she feels nothing.
Cait: Your shield…
Vi: The punches still hurt but…yeah…shield took most of tha damage.
Cait: You can't…
Vi: Like hell I can't.
Vi stood up, picking Cait with her. She grins.
Vi: Who's gonna protect you otherwise?
Cait laughed at her partner's unnecessary, bold and dashing comment. She could always make her laugh no matter the situation.
Cait: Vi…you could…
Vi: I'll be fine! I'm no pushover, ya know that!
Cait: It's just…
An explosion inside the building got both girls out of their mutual concerns as they began to dash inside. Cait charged her gun as she ran while Vi finished tweaking her hand, with a loud mechanic sound it closed tight and Vi grinned. Cait smiled at how different and alike they were…but now, she had to focus.
Cait: My shield was popped back on the run here.
Vi: Aye, it's a good handicap.
They giggled as they moved inside the building, straight for the first series of stairs leading to the second floor. The stair split halfway, a left and a right and as each took a separate way (Vi right and Cait left) they grinned at each other.
Cait and Vi: Got your back.
Cait stepped onto the left side of the building, though Vi was somewhat close she knew she had to be on alert. Gun on her shoulder, aiming down her sights she perked the heat lens on. The place was dead silent, Jinx's laugh echoing like a mad ghost throughout the structure every so often. She kept walking forward, turning back and veering her gun in every direction to try and spot her villain. The lens picked nothing up, just the cold brick walls.
The place was massive, 4 stories with a front and back area, divided by double doors in each level which were card and time locked. The structure itself was made of solid stone and reinforced concrete, lined with smart-fiber- a Heimer invention for structures which allowed these to sustain damage and impact to intense levels since the memorized the molecular and structural position of the concrete or structure it was embedded in. Thus, if the building were attacked or damage it would still hold and keep its shape and strength for a longer time and under harsher conditions. Even more so, Piltover's security systems were the highest in the city, enhanced camera encased in steel frames, security drones, reinforced steel-hex doors and various sensitive devices to detect hostility or if the place was under attack made it the most secure bank and building. It was this information, which Cait had helped equipped and knew so well, that made the current situation uncomfortable. The molten and destroyed pieces of drones could be found like a trail of destruction throughout the place. Lights were gone, and none of the 4 Hex-tech steam engines was functioning as backup. There was no alarm blaring, no intense damages to the inner structure either…nothing…it was as if the building was hit so hard and fast that it blacked out…unresponsive.
Cait treaded carefully as the crunch of cogs and metal under her boots filled the air along with her breathing. She hated this, it was nerve wracking. She slowly made her way to the back of the building, to the administrative area…where all the money was. Was it that pure? A heist? The greatest heist in Piltover's history? Was that her goal? No, Cait shook her head…if there was something Jinx had demonstrated them throughout this hellish week was her uncaring attitude toward society and norms…even logic. Cait was terrified of the last…she was dealing with a mad person…someone who did not know fear…who simply wanted to cause mayhem…to watch the world burn at her feet. She had no goal, no motif…just a mad desire to destroy.
Jinx's laughter blared through the building as it shook and thuds were heard in the upper floors. Cait hid by a pillar as dust fell on her top-hat and she dusted it off. Something was going on.
Vi: Hear that?
Cait yelped as she fumbled her gun and quickly took her COMMS out, Vi's face on it, dirtied, and running (noticeable by the background).
Vi: I'm checking upstairs. Ya better be careful, doll.
Cait simply nodded and closed the device as she exhaled slowly and raised her gun's sight once more. Slowly she renewed her course, thumping sounding over her…a thump she could distinguish by now. She shook her head as she smiled and darted to the other end of the hallway that connected the front-left and back-left section of the building. Before her though was one of the reinforced steel-hex doors, a system and metal discovered by Zilean where chrono-hex technology made the door bolt up and enter a chronostatic state of immobility. Said more simply, the door was became harder than diamond and nothing could make it open since the metal and all the inner systems would become locked in team in an alternative state where everything that entered such space was also stopped. The reaction time of the device was instant, locking it in place even if it was blasted off its hinged. At least in theory. Cait pulled hard on the bolt of her gun, causing it to revup, a light glowing at its tip. She aimed at the bolt of the door and while she slid to the door, she discharged a Peacemaker Shot. The shot broke and molted half the door, and Cait slid through to the other side.
She breathed heavily as adrenaline rushed through her body, her senses heightening. As she looks around she begins to notice something…disturbing. Every vault and lock had been blasted open, destroyed and sacked clean. Money? Is she really going for money? More over, the simple fact the doors were destroyed to such an extended was alarming. Cait knew not even her Peacemaker used to destroy the door she came in from was enough to break through one of the vault doors…and these had 2. How? She doesn't get much time to answer as a melodious humming echoes off the walls. Caitlyn quickly takes a knee, gun on her shoulder, aiming down sight, alert and trigger happy. She was upset.
As nothing happens and the hum continues Caitlyn slowly moves towards its origin, switching her heat lens for a sonic lens- a special crystal based glass which could pinpoint the origin of the a noise. Cait feels her body tense at the melodious hum…far from soothing or fun, it simply emphasized the madness of her opponent…how much she was enjoying this.
Stepping into the farthest open room of the 2nd floor Cait noticed a massive pile of gold, money and bonds at its center, in front of more vaults blasted open, illuminated by a white light. Cait takes her echo lens away and simply steps around the pile carefully, for anyone in the room. It was clear. Quickly she notices that the light which illuminated the pile of money was caused by the lack of a roof…literally. Everything of the 3rd floor, 4th floor and rooftop of this precise area was blasted away. A zeppelin stood up over the clearing, throwing a white light which…gazing at it, had the shape of a happy face. A heist? Cait was baffled if this was the final motif of Jinx's plan. As rubble fell from the rooftop Cait moved away and took her COMM out, she tried remembering how the blasted thing worked. Flustered she quickly pressed buttons as a cheer and the sound of rope resonated from the clearing and 5 more bags fell on top of the pile. Cait quickly moved into the shadows.
Jinx, in her bare outfit followed the bags down as the bungie rope with which she jumped tensed centimeters away from the tip of the pile. She laughed hysterically as she was catapulted up and she straightened her position, jumping off on the next fall and landing squarely on the marble floor, striking a gymnast pose. She laughed hysterically as she opened the 5 bags, dumping its content onto the ever growing pile.
Jinx: Well…that's all folks.
She laughs as she takes a controller from the back pocket of her tight shorts, which barely covered anything and were actually so small that they couldn't be zipped closed…making her show her pink leather underwear. Pressing the button her zeppelin pours onto the pile a flood of small bear trap chomper with a grenade at their end that hopped and chomped around like chattering teeth. Jinx hums her own playful tune as she kicks them around, enjoying herself. She comes to a halt as a beeping sound comes from behind one of the columns…Jinx smiled wildly as she slowly takes out her peculiar electric gun.
Jinx: Come out, come out wherever you are.
The gun revs up for a second as an electric shot is fired at the column. Cait hops out, dodging the shot which pulverizes and pierces through the column. After a single roll, she pivots her weight and slides as she aims with her gun and takes a single at Jinx. The shot misses slightly, grazing and cutting strands of the jet blue hair as Jinx swirled to avoid the shot. Caitlin, now against the wall again but, cover blown, aiming her gun down the sights begins to scan and see if she could get a shot on her opponent, the metallic sound of her COMM echoes from where she had landed. Distracted for a second, Cait shifts her gaze to look at the COMM facing her, Vi on the screen looking at her.
Vi: Cait!
The COMM is blasted into pieces in the fraction as seconds as Cait blinks and shifts her gaze back down her gun's sight, Jinx running behind another column, a large grin on her face. Cait, now angered fires 3 fast shots which speed towards Jinx's direction impacting the column she hid behind, crumbling it. Jinx, laughing emerges from the dust with her Gatling revving and unleashed a flurry of bullets onto Cait who is forced to cover behind one of the vault's doors, dodging most bullets as other impact her already weak rune shield of the League. Flickering as she grimaced in cover she knew her shield wouldn't last long.
Jinx: Incoming.
Cait watches as 3 chompers bounce off the wall before her and upon falling dart at her. Shooting 2 in midair she lifts her arm to cover herself from the debris of these but find that such action cause the last chomper to bit her arm, covered by the rune layer she hisses and finally cries in pain as the chomper explodes, blasting the remains of her runic protection and finally injuring her. Cait bolts as fast as she can to the other side of the room, firing precise shots with one hand at Jinx who ducks and basically rolls to cover. Cait whimper and chokes her cries as she watch es her bloodied and burnt right arm, shrapnel encrusted in it.
Jinx: Does it hurt?
Jinx's playful cry comes from the other side of the room, behind the pile of money. Cait hisses and blows her cover as she takes a knee and aims at Jinx at the other end. She was barely able to pull the trigger as a lucid, bright orb flew towards her. She wasn't able to see if her shot hit the mark or not, she only felt the searing sensation and being blown back, hitting the back of her head…her world went black.
Jinx cried in frustration and pain as her left shoulder bled from Cait's shot. Thankfully it had pierced her fully, making a nasty hole going through her. Quick on her twisted thinking Jinx shot a fast round of her gattling to the air and caught a single bullet shell, freshly fired, scorching hot and biting the burning sensation on her fingers, she sunk the shell into her fresh wound, cauterizing the hole. She was hell bent…to go to such an extent…to be able to sustain such pain. Yet…she laughed she laughed the pain away as the sound of burning meat came to a stop and she threw the bloodstained shell which she had just used to cauterize her arm. Laughing she noticed her arm was unusable…she could barely move it without tears coming up to her eyes from the pain. She loved it. Jinx marched straight to the passed out Cait, thrown against a column. During their quick but intense fight Jinx at the last pulled out her energy missile cannon, designed like a shark and spray painted blue. It was the same device Cait had destroyed last time, only now Jinx had fixed it, recalibrated it, made it more efficient do to the reduced size of the device thanks to Cait's shot that had destroyed it. She loved her new gun as she had reused the jagged part to become part of the "mouth" of her "shark cannon". The shot was aimed at the column where Cait was hiding and…most probably, would've killed her if she hadn't jumped out of her cover to take a shot. The blast hit with immense force, obliterating the column and sending the elegantly dressed lady flying away to the back of the room where she hit her head on the wall.
Jinx smiled maniacally as she walked towards the long haired girl, stepping over her top-hat along the way. A red trail of blood crossed her forehead, making her white skin seem pale. Jinx moves her face with the tip of her boot, examining her. She frowns, Cait was beautiful. She scoffs as she moves away, hating the sight of her…why were the beautiful ones always on the good side?! Her once happy and whimsical demeanor turned grim and sadistic as she hated this girl who had taken her sister away, who had corrupted her, filled her with lies and forced her into the dark side. Jinx wanted to save her sister, she wanted her back she wanted this Brunette Bombshell Bitch to DIE!
At the last Jinx pulled her energy missile cannon and aimed it at the girl, her eyes filled with hate as her smile turned nasty, demonic…possessed. The shot was fired just as a figure landed before Jinx, between her and Cait. The shot exploded wafting a gust of wind far more powerful than Jinx expected. As she stumbled backwards she noticed the figure before her and smiled coyly.
Jinx: Well if it isn't my hero.
Vi: Jinx…
Vi hissed as she quickly glanced over her shoulder to the Cait that was sprawled on the ground. She moaned softly and twitched a bit, coming back from her concussion…Vi smiled. It was short lived as her rage and glare on the girl before her was locked…2 deadly animals in the same cage.
Jinx: It's a shame you couldn't be faster…really.
Vi: Shut up, you have no right.
Jinx: No right! Do you forget who this little girl is?
Vi: NO! I do not know this girl before me.
Jinx frowned, but grinned.
Jinx: Vi…I am your sister
Jinx said the last in an attempt of imitating a "Darth Vader" voice. It unnerved Vi her cool, how calm she was and how annoying the chattering chompers were with their noise at her feet.
Vi: You are not my sister…you are sick, twisted…demented…my sister would've never become like you.
Jinx burst into a maniacal laughter as she began walking around the room.
Jinx: Really? Com'on Vi, yer smarter than that. I know you are. Abandoned by her sister, all male gang. Small girl, easy to exploit. You have no idea what they did to me.
Her eyes widen as if in shock, to which Vi simply dashes at her and lifts her by the neck.
Vi: I did my work…you are lying.
Jinx laughs.
Jinx: oh come on! Then again…does the past matter? I became this…because of you…Vi. Because I was left alone…Vi. But I know it's not your fault.
Vi eyes her carefully, putting her down.
Vi: What do you mean?
Jinx: You were corrupted, brainwashed…only reason I can think of for you leaving your own sister. But…
She aims her electrical gun at Cait.
Jinx: That can be easily fixed…I will release you…sis.
She cups Vi's chin, sensually as she sticks out her pierced tongue. Vi moves to stop her and Jinx aims the gun at Vi's chest. The shot lands solidly and sends Vi back into the pile. She coughs blood and glares at Jinx.
Jinx: I didn't specify how…
She laughs maniacally.
Jinx: Be a good girl and let momma do her job…k?
She pulls her energy missile launcher and aims it at Cait. Vi closes her eyes and bolt at Jinx. Jinx simply shoots her instead only this time, Vi punches the shot at point blank. Jinx is blown backward flying back into the other room as Vi's sonic punch creates an air barrier around her. The shot had exploded but Vi was unharmed and quickly dashing an airborn Jinx. Smiling, she shifts her position midair and fires her electrical gun. Vi punches each shot, her barrier protecting her as she stomps forward. Landing Jinx takes the crash against the wall as support to fire her Gatling gun. Vi this time puts her hands as a shield, taking the hits as she keeps going. She bullets a punch at Jinx who is forced to stop firing to dodge, ducking the punch and (seeing it pulverize the wall) leaps backwards as the debris is jettisoned into the front of the building. She fires a single shot from her electrical gun and Vi takes the hit to her hand. It hurt but both her hand and herself were alright. Jinx landing like a cat begin to dash to the other side, aiming for the stairs, her laughter increasing…she was having fun…as if a game of tag. Vi dashes behind her, their fight intensifying and using every element of their 3D environment.
Jinx rotates her 3 weapons superbly as Vi rotates offensive and defensive movements with precision. The building dissolves at their encounter, missiles hitting columns, walls, the floor, making it all collapse to the lower floors. Vi's punches dealing equally destructive power when she wasn't dodging electrical shot or covering/shielding an onslaught of bullets from the Gatling gun. They hoped between columns, used bookcases, shelves, they turned tables for cover, Vi even hurled block of stone and concrete at her. Their personal war was titanic and it was bringing the whole building down. Slowly the made it to the 4th floor, tired, panting, jinx still giggling as Vi raged behind her. Yet…considering the past week…though physical potential was on par…or maybe Vi's was superior…their physical endurance was abysmally different. Jinx had been smart…she would not be able to take down the "Wonder Duo" at their best…so…she hit them where it hurt the most and made sure she'd fight them on her terms and her ground. With a maniacal laugh Jinx faced Vi on the last floor. A grand open lobby with large windows stood at the front, rows and rows of columns filled the design of the space. Vi smiled, it was indeed the perfect scene for a showdown, even more so when the setting sun sunk behind Jinx.
Jinx and Vi: Perfect.
Jinx: A heroic death
Vi: Or the fall of a demon.
Grinning they launched at each other, Jinx firing her energy Missile launcher continuously as Vi punched every shot, gathering her air barrier to get close- it was war at its finest
Downstairs, Cait slowly came back to her senses from her concussion. Her head was killing and she soon understood why when she grabbed her head and saw her blood stained hand. Little by little, easing up against the wall she began to grasp an understanding of her surroundings. Her top-hat had been crushed, her rifle was a bit far from her, the bank was shaking as bomb and thuds resonated high above. Slowly, Cait crawled to her gun and using it as a cane, helped herself up and quickly collapsed. She hisses and slowly, mustering her strength of mind and body gets up once again…she holds on. Her dress tattered and burnt, her body and face smudged with blood and dirt, she slowly makes her way to the origin of the chaos.
Walking slowly, thanking the gods for every rock and debris that missed her she slowly made her way to the 4th floor. The floor was crumbling, the columns were breaking at the sheer intensity of the fight, the air seemed to just flow into that floor, encasing the combatants in a dense atmosphere of death. As Cait arrived she managed to see a bruised and cut Jinx, her clothes barely dangly on her body, barely exposing her nude…but also, she saw a cut, burnt and shot Vi. Mechanical arms battered to bent steel pieces, her armor already with pieces missing and parts of her abdomen showed bleeding whether from internal bleeding or shots that had slipped through openings. As Cait readied her gun she watched Jinx aim her cannon at Vi, a look of triumph and sadism in her eyes, but Vi reached for the gaping jaws of the shark and crushed them shut. The explosion was dramatic, sending both combatants flying backwards by the sonic waves, fire, and flames escaping everywhere along with one horrifying spurt of blood. With the sun setting, their figures shadows Cait watched a Jinx with a burnt and shrapnel covered arm topple backwards while a Vi with a mecha hand missing screamed in pain as she fought the blast with her strong legs. Cait's eyes watered and as a demonical and possessed Jinx lifted her Gatling gun with grutal pain stacking sounds at Vi she acted instinctively. A searing shot hit the Gatling, straight between the barrels, the core of the device and pulverized it into bits. Jinx cried in frustration as she watched Cait with burning, hateful eyes. She lifted her electrical gun and was in the process of aiming it when she was hit straight in the chest and pinned against the wall…the gun flew from her hand. Cait sighed as she watched an out of breath and hurting Jinx against the wall pinned by her 50cal Net, she still walked towards her carefully, aiming down sights and kicked her electrical gun away. Seeing the situation under control she looked back at Vi.
Vi, gasped and panted in pain and exhaustion as her exploded Mecha hand had left exposed her normal forearm and hand. 3rd degree burns, molten shrapnel shredded and with the nerve conflict of feeling as if her arm was exploded (her mecha hands tied themselves to the nerves of her hands) she was really suffering. Still, when Cait looked back at her, she mustered all her strength to raise her good right hand and do a thumbs up. Cait shook her hand, tears rolling form her eyes as she began to laugh…Vi soon joined in. Cait collapsed to the floor, covering her mouth with her hands, laughing and crying at the same time. Vi slowly crawled towards her and embraced her dearingly.
Vi: It's ok…it's over
Cait: My head hurts.
Vi laughed and Cait laughed some more…and Jinx joined in.
Vi: What are you laughing about?
Jinx: Well…this was fun!
Cait: You have a lot of explaining to do.
Jinx: Well, shoot.
She laughs, kicking her feet. Vi glares at her.
Vi: You lost Jinx…cant you see that? Stop acting, stop…being this way…I know you aren't this way, you weren't this way!
Jinx stops laughing.
Jinx: Lost? Acting?
She grins, devilish grin.
Jinx: Dear sis, I haven't lost…I won!
She laughs.
Jinx: You see, I found my long lost sister. And, it's still you…acting like a cop. Which makes me puke but…oh well, at least you still have dat slum fighting spirit. But you see…yer wasting it. Dat talent. 'Cause…you could do so much more.
She looks at Cait.
Jinx: You too lady. Both of you could run this town…set it to your feet, make them all bend.
Vi: These are our people! The slums are gone Jinx…there is no poverty left!
Jinx: really? You sure? You think that just because everyone no lives better it means that they all like it? That there is no…difference?
Cait and Vi look at each other…cases of class discrimination were still a thing in Piltover and it was a thorn that was still hard to get out. Resentment on "citizens from low classes" was a wavering number and Cait and Vi struggled daily in making peace and equality a priority.
Jinx: I want you to see that…you can't protect this city forever…I am only one person…what if THEY rose against you one day? YOUR people?
She giggles.
Jinx: You see…ya act so in control…so strong…so sure…that's a good thing, makes people see ya as leaders. But…it doesn't mean they trust you…nor that you can protect them. You are so used to knowing everything about your enemies, you are so used to control that…if one thing is left out of place…a little chaos enters your world…you don't know what to do.
Jinx moves her hands down her body, she bites her lip.
Jinx: I just LOOOVE doing things with you guys…an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. It's…SO HOT…
Her hands slowly goes to her undies.
Jinx: I could say…I'm turned on even.
She giggles as her hand goes into her undies and she bites her lips, closing her eyes and arching her back.
Jinx: But…there's something you seem to forget… there's a ying … and yang.
Jinx looks at them squarely as her hand, the one that had been in her undies held a metallic cylindrical... thing
Jinx: And I love yang.
She presses the top part of the thing and a red light comes out followed by a massive explosion and the shaking of the building.
Jinx: Boom Baby!
She begins to laugh maniacally as the whole building topples forward. Nothing could be heard but the screeching of metal, the crushing of stone and rock…and the laugh, the crazy and unique laugh of Jinx.
Vi punched and a mountain of debris rained all over the place as she crawled from under the debris with one hand, coughing her lungs out, spitting out blood as her battered and tattered body collapsed. She was gasping for air and the only thing she could see was a flat debris filled plot of land surrounded by buildings…and her. The jet blue hair swaying in the wind. She was badly bruised, wounded and blood fell from the corner of her lip but she smiled as she saw Vi.
Jinx: You are a real tough bug to squash…I love it!
She giggles like a little girl with a new toy.
Vi: Why?
Jinx: 'Cause it's fun! Idiot.
Vi noticed that Jinx had a foot on a rope ladder…the zeppelin. She smiled, bowing her head and shaking her head in disbelief.
Vi: You had a plan.
Jinx: Had a what?
Vi: A PLAN! You planned this all along! WHY?!
Jinx simply looked at her with her red and now cold dead eyes.
Jinx: What plan? I just wanted to have fun.
At the last she smiles widely and gets on the ladder, pulling it down to start a recoil mechanism which pulled her up at a fast speed.
Jinx: 10/10 WILL do this again!
Her cry of laughter echoes through the city as she is carried up into her zeppelin…until there was a snap. At nearly 100 meters from the ground the rope snapped and Jinx fell. Vi simply watched her fall as she heard a soft click behind her. Prone, emerging from under the debris Vi had also been buried on was Cait. As a thud was heard at the distance with a puff of dust emerging from the ground Vi crawled to Cait.
Vi: Hey…you got her.
Cait: hehe…bullseyes right?
There voices were tires and faint whispers, weakly they laughed as Cait rested her head on Vi's legs and Vi had eased herself up on the remains of a column.
Vi: You did it.
Cait: WE did it.
She chuckled and slowly but surely the two girls fainted as the blare of sirens came their way.
Things were hectic at the scene of the disaster. Paramedics, Champions, League's Piltover Representative and the League's Head Director Deyseus Rundeas rushed to help. Stabilizing and controlling the masses was the first prior and the champions of Piltover handled the situation with ease as they talked and ensured the audience that there were no people injured and that Officers Caitlyn Sherlock and Vi Armstrong were in a stable state. A dreadful white lie.
The paramedics had a difficult stabilizing both girls. They were rushed to the emergency's room in a hurry and despite their best technology and capabilities, some damages were irreversible. As the League's Representative talked with the Director and managed the League's Resources to recover the city, the city grew quiet waiting new from their heroines. Director Deyseus took charge as he addressed the people from his hooded figure. A black robe with purple and golden designs was the outfit the Director of the League wore. He was the last word in all matters and who held the duty of maintaining the League, its school of Summoning and peace. Upon hearing about the Champions Vi and Cait he issued a direct order and with help of the Representative…Cait and Vi were sent to Ionia via a teleport spell to be tended by Champion Shen, Akali and Kennen. Not only were they ninjas but they were experts in healing arts and served as the main and only medical body of the League.
Slowly the city simmered down as the League took the city into a mending state, mobilizing a group of summoners along with their chrono-archives of the city. These archives were magical blue prints of the city and portrayed not only how the city looked like but how every building, from every angle in every place at every time looked like. These mystical archives were pulled only at times of great catastrophe and were used by specialized summoner to return damaged or destroyed buildings to their former glory and shape by means of chrono recreation… or Rewind. The storm had blown over.
Representative of the League: Sire, I must ask what happened to the…third individual.
Director Dreyseus: A remarkable individual…don't you agree?
Representative of the League: Alarmingly so…but she wasn't found
Director Dreyseus: No. She was.
The grey and gold hooded figure (the colors of Piltover) looked at him alarmed (though not visible by the hoods).
Representative of the League: Sire, are you saying.
Director Dreyseus: I asked Ionia to house under domiciliary arrest a future Champion.
Representative of the League: Champion?! Sire!
Director Dreyseus: Do you disagree?
Representative of the League: Completely! Look what she did!
Director Dreyseus: Exactly. She cannot be allowed to be loose.
Drops his gaze, pondering and understanding.
Representative of the League: But then…
Director Dreyseus: Calibrations will have to be made.
Representative of the League: Sire, this tournament… I have a bad feeling
Director Dreyseus: We mus trust the champions…Representative. It is for the greater good. Jinx, the loose cannon, will be given an opportunity.
