Chapter 28
"No I have not heard from Detective Kerry." Ivy said her voice becoming panicked as she pushed through a rack of clothing. "I'm really beginning to freak about her Strahm no one knows where she is. I know my Uncle's got her."
"We can't be sure though can we? She was cut off mid report she was sending over to us. She never finished writing it." Agent Strahm sounded equally annoyed and Ivy very much wanted to hang up on him. "The last thing she told us verbally was something about two Detectives might be in danger but we don't know anything else. Kerry was worried thinking it might be you again but instead she goes missing and we still haven't found Eric Matthews."
"Well maybe Eric is alive. I met some other Jigsaw survivors today who haven't gone to the police about their traps, they've just managed to get themselves home and haven't said a word about it. They are going to give me the location of their crime scenes. Maybe Eric is laying low too." Ivy suggested.
The sound of something slamming came and then Strahm bellowed a loud "Fuck! Right send me over their names and we'll look there straight away. Don't come to the station tomorrow come to where we are at the FBI. Till Kerry is found you are now our number one liaison. Whatever we know you will know. I'll tell you my theories and everything else. You'll become an official Agent Reeves n more hiding in Homicide this is getting out of hand. Soon the whole damn department will be dead to these sick games." His passion was startling but a thrill of excitement spread around Ivy's veins like liquid silver. Finally. She felt a little guilty for outing Mario and Julia so quickly but her boss was rather a hothead when things weren't going to plan. Ivy could tell that Strahm liked control and despised being helpless. She hung up and looked at Jill apologetically.
"Sorry. Did you hear that?" She asked worriedly.
"I think all of Bloomingdales did." Jill said sarcastically and Ivy blushed.
"Strahm's a tough cookie but he can be rather nice when he's not got his contacts going missing." Ivy shared pretending to be interested in a hideous looking purple cocktail dress.
"I hope he's nice to you tomorrow then." Jill said examining the same purple dress before adding it to the building collection in her hands. Ivy shook her head at her Aunt's choice but didn't question it, Jill looked much older than the last time she saw her. Her skin was waxy and she rubbed at her eyes often as if there was an irritation in them and her blonde hair had lost it's lustre, yet she still retained some of her prettiness in the way she dressed. Ivy was always surprised to see the nurturing woman who liked to help everyone in a no nonsense pencil skirt and stiff blazer which made her look authoritative and deadly. "So why did this boyfriend of yours I wanted to meet bail on us."
"Uh well he doesn't really like shopping and he decided to take one of the other survivors Daniel Matthews, out for a bite to eat and then he's going to check if he's got an email from that Waters woman about getting on the agencies' books." Ivy said not lying but avoiding the whole truth. That Adam didn't want to come near Jigsaw's ex wife with a ten foot barge pole.
"I see another time then. I'm happy I've got you today."
"Yes I know you wanted to talk to me about what we said on the phone." Ivy mentioned quietly as Jill skipped over to a pair of figure hugging jeans. "About John getting sicker and Amanda and Mark."
"Yes I was thinking about what we are going to do if one of them takes over the legacy. How we are going to take them out." Jill spoke quietly despite there being no one else nearby and Ivy's eyes widened.
"Take them out?" She repeated.
"Before they do the same to us." Jill said hurriedly. "I know John keeps saying about having a way out for us, an insurance policy set up so to speak but when he's dead what is the harm?"
"I don't think Mark is going to try anything." Said Ivy at once. "His whole career and reputation hangs on people not knowing who he is. I bet John has a way to release who he really is to the public should he attempt to go off the rails."
"And Amanda? She's already gone off the rails if you ask me." Bitched Jill her eyes narrowing. "She was staring at me like I was a rabbit she wanted to devour. She was actually crouched over John's wheelchair and Mark doesn't like her and she hates him. They were arguing I could hear their voices, they just get under each other's skin. There is too much tension between them they all work too closely together." Jill reported leafing through jean sizes.
"What about Lawrence, he's sort of poised in the shadows isn't he?" Ivy asked rhetorically.
Jill sighed, "I don't know about your Doctor friend either, I trust him the most out of the three of them but he's still doing things for John isn't he? At least you flat out quit..."
"Only because John gave me the opportunity again, I'm still silenced. I'm beginning to fear what Mark might do if I do tell someone, or when they figure out it's him. Will he automatically think of me?"
"I don't think so." Jill answered steadily finding her right size eventually, "Why is the right size always at the back, people hiding the good size tens. "But you haven't given anything away to say you know about him so he doesn't even have a reason to suspect you." Jill explained. It assured Ivy again and she nodded.
"I think stopping Amanda on this bloody onslaught of murder is the first step. Maybe Mark can help if he hates her. She must hate me too." Ivy pondered her voice still a whisper.
"She does. I think she thought I'd brought you with me because she kept glancing over my shoulder until John sent her away." Jill said at once.
"So if I was a huge apprentice would you want to get rid of me as easily?" Ivy asked feeling a little stung by Jill's quick decision to not sit by and do nothing.
"Of course not your my family."
Ivy gave Jill a hard look and Jill threw her hands up in the air nearly sending her pile of clothes to the floor. "Alright fine I won't do anything, I'll see what happens over the next month or so and go from there or if I get word from you. If anything happens to you again I am going to kill him though. I can't take him hurting you once more." Jill's protectiveness surprised Ivy but she was grateful for it none the less but she had never expected Jill to side her over John. Perhaps it was best to surround herself with allies.
It was by the changing room intersecting the women's fashion from the children's clothing Ivy met a familiar face. Lawrence was waiting awkwardly outside the girls changing rooms and a singing was coming from inside. When he saw Ivy he brightened at once and beckoned her over. Since Ivy didn't have any clothes she told Jill to go ahead who eyed Lawrence beadily. The Doctor gave her a small wave to which she nodded and disappeared inside.
"I see we had a similar idea on what to do after the meeting today." Said Lawrence once Ivy had reached him.
"I'm guessing thats Diana singing her heart away in there?" Ivy guessed playfully and Lawrence frowned.
"Ali is a nightmare at buying her clothes, you'd think it would be the opposite away round but not in this family." Said Lawrence seeing he was the only man waiting, the rest all being women helping their children in the changing rooms. Ivy felt sorry for the single parent.
"I'd go in and help her if I wasn't a complete stranger and I don't think it would be wise after..." She hinted and Lawrence nodded at once.
A soft little voice, pitchy but relatively in key echoed out of the changing room and the surrounding women all made cooing noise that reminded Ivy strongly of mother hens. "Little town, it's a quiet village. Beauty and the Beast."
"Sorry, she watched Beauty and the Beast before she came over to me with Ali's sister, we don't trust babysitters anymore." Lawrence said sheepishly, Ivy hd to admit the singing was adorable. "Where's your arm candy?" He asked peering round for Adam. "I was looking forward to making fun of him and glad to have a little testosterone, and I mean little,"
She gave him a swift glare and elbowed him to which Lawrence laughed. "He got out of it. He's taken Daniel out for a bite to eat." She repeated and Larry cursed.
"Damn I don't want him taking away my one and only fan."
"Very funny. I don't really want to the see the son of a man I'm supposed to be finding back at my apartment playing XBOX 360 with the other child." Ivy smirked.
"Daddy I think I'm done but it's heavy." Came a small voice from inside the changing room.
"Thank god." Lawrence groaned and darted inside at once, a couple of women gave Ivy an odd stare and she blushed. She blushed even harder when little Diana came out, her arms stuffed with clothing her brown hair waving around. It was a similar colour to Ivy's own hair. The child stopped when she saw Ivy and peered up at her with intelligent, curious eyes. She had her mother's eyes and Ivy couldn't see very much of Lawrence in the little girl's appearance but she could tell by the cool way the girl was inspecting her she had her father's personality. She hoped it didn't rub off too much in later years.
"Diana honey, this is Ivy. Ivy saved daddy's life when he was in that dark and nasty place we talked about." Lawrence introduced and Diana held out her hand like a good little girl and allowed Ivy to bend down and shake her hand.
"The bathroom?" Diana asked shrewdly and Ivy raised her eyebrows at Lawrence. This girl was not stupid and she was struck with the feeling that Diana knew much more than she was letting on.
"Yes from that place." Lawrence muttered and Ivy smiled at her.
"You like Beauty and the Beast Diana?" Ivy asked the girl who nodded shyly and gripped onto her daddy's hand.
"I know Princess Belle." Ivy smiled kindly. Diana stared at Ivy her mouth going slack.
"You know her?" She whispered staring up with awed, wide eyes.
"I do." And Ivy took out her phone, flicked past the many selfies of Adam and showed an old picture of herself many years ago when she was about seventeen in a production of Beauty and the Beast. She was not yet in costume but beside her was Belle in all her golden gown glory smiling at the camera. Diana nearly dropped her pile of clothes as she gawped at the picture.
"It really is her." Whispered Diana tugging on Lawrence's hand so he was bent down to see the picture better. He smiled and went along with the charade gasping in the right place as Diana beamed anew at Ivy. "Where can I meet her?"
"At disneyland sweetie." Said Lawrence quickly, "Now are you ready to pay? I'll see you next week Ivy." He said thanking her over his shoulder as Diana gabbled in his ear about how she was going to meet Princess Belle and Rapunzel when she went to Disneyland next year. Ivy checked on Jill to see she was almost done. Ivy's phone rung again and she pulled it out at once knowing far better than to ignore it, she sighed and really thought about leaving it ringing. Jill came out and Ivy showed her who was calling. She sighed but shook her head in warning.
"We found another clue. Any idea what 'open the door and you will find me could mean?"
"No Strahm I don't have the slightest idea why?" She asked sick and tired of being badgered.
"Police have searched Kerry's apartment and she's not there but all her paperwork from the Jigsaw case if left there and in her bedside drawer is a note in big red letters saying 'open the door and you will find me." Strahm informed. A chill went through her as the words sank in. She really has been taken.
"It's a Jigsaw trap then. That's how she was taken." She said with dread.
"Yeah we believe so. Her TV was on a live camera recording and in her closet we found a CCTV camera which displayed the picture on the TV. I think the person was waiting for her in there."
"Yeah it makes sense. That's what 'open the door and you will find me means. I don't know about the two Detectives besides warning everyone at Homicide."
"No. I don't want them to know, I'm beginning to suspect it's an inside job." Strahm said interrupting her.
"Someone working for Homicide?"
"Maybe. It's just a theory so far though."
She hung up and looked to Jill. "It's Jigsaw. He's taken Alison." Jill stepped forwards and gave Ivy a hug as she began to cry again. She couldn't help it today, her emotions were completely wrecked she just wanted to curl up in bed. "Why does he need to take her? She hasn't done anything really wrong. Nothing like the murderers and the rapists that deserve these games." She sobbed pathetically not understanding why she was being punished. Maybe she has to play a role with Eric?
Jill made hushing and cooing noises, steering them behind a rack of clothes. Ivy hiccuped noisily her sobs sounds like a cat was being strangled as she tried to control herself. She was squashed against the fabrics of the clothes Jill was going to buy and was quickly running out of air. She took a deep breath and Jill let her go to cup her face in her hands. "Your still so young." She whispered sadly, "I don't know why John picks the people he does, I know I was harsh at first but you never deserved the horrors you went through either." She stuttered apparently unable to say anymore. Ivy gulped in shaky breaths and rubbed the tears out of her eyes, so she was so absolutely sick and tired of tears. She took the clothing from Jill's hands, spying the purple dress amongst the group and sighed not bothering to say anything and went over to purchase them as quickly as she possibly could avoiding the sales girl's prying eyes the whole time.
Jill drove Ivy back to her apartment. It didn't help that she knew she would be alone for Adam would either still be with Daniel or at his own apartment checking his emails. She leaned her head against the side of the lift as it took her to her floor and moped out of it purposely walking as slow as possible. Once through her door she locked it, checked it once, and then checked it again just because she was on her own. It was an odd feeling, not being able to feel Adam's presence in the rooms at all. It was cold and draughty without him here to keep her warm on the sofa or in bed. It was only five in the afternoon but Ivy felt as exhausted as she had after the bathroom. The memories flooded her brain quickly and she slammed her hand onto the counter top in the kitchen area ignoring the momentary paralysing pain that shivered up her wrist. Grabbing a ready meal from the fridge she heated it up, ate on the sofa, a habit she never endorsed for fear of ruining her sofas and then went for a long shower hoping she could wash every stress of the day away. She wanted company badly and should have asked Jill to stay with her for a while, she was just as lonely as Ivy and would have relished the quality time with her niece. Once out of the shower Ivy's hand was reaching for her phone when she shook her head trying to jolt some sense into her head. A sound outside made her jump and then freeze on edge. She was the sort of individual to if someone came into her room when she was meant to be sleeping, instead of facing whoever it was she hid under the covers pretending to be dead to the world. So she froze today waiting till the noise had passed for several minutes and then hearing the tell tale floorboards on the floor above her creak letting her know it was only her heavy footed neighbour.
She scrolled through her contacts, while she knew Adam probably needed closure and some male bonding time without her, she couldn't face Jill again, she nearly deleted John's number and Amanda's which were certainly only there in case of extreme emergencies. Larry was too busy with Diana to be her rock and Adam might get funny, Rigg and she just weren't close enough anymore, neither was she close enough with Fisk. Her thumb hovered over Mark's number wavering slightly. Could she do it? Could she really call him over to her apartment just to keep her company? Did she hold him dearer than Rigg or Fisk? Yes. A voice in her head told her wisely. Yes she did like Mark, he was amusing and they had always got on well, they had bonded before this new onslaught of disaster struck, to the point where at times Ivy forgot the dark and sinister side of the Detective. The righteous part of her which seemed to have developed since the survivors meeting that morning would not allow her to press that call button, leaving her with her parents and Allison. She tried Allison once more but it rung straight through to voicemail; however this time Agent Strahm's voice echoed through meaning the FBI were examining it. She needed Allison now more than ever and there was no possible way to get in contact with her. I vowed before if she went missing any longer I would go to the Gideon factory and find her myself. But the more and more she thought about it the more it sounded like a suicide mission. Feeling like a caged animal her mind resorted back to the lonely times spent in training where every moment was spent practising or studying for a test or fitness exam to be sprung on the plucky recruits the next day. She was nowhere near the fitness level she had been at before the bathroom and hadn't really entertained the idea of getting back into shape before then. Her gym membership had run out and she hadn't bothered to renew it since. She began to go through her rudimentary exercises, her ankle protesting loudly as it was bent underneath her, unused to this unusual movement. She winced but proceeded slowly through her sets of press ups, lunges, squats and sit ups. It wasn't long before her legs began whining at the pressure they were being put under and the burn began in her abs again. She was out of breath, sweaty and wanted to collapse. It was scary because although she would be at an advantage anyway, if she was avoiding an attacker Ivy would be in a very deadly situation. She had let herself become careless because Jigsaw was her Uncle. That didn't mean she still couldn't die.
Her phone vibrated with a text message and loneliness catching up to her she opened it at once.
Heard about Detective Kerry. Are you alright? You might want to check something out that's on Youtube. I don't know how you're gonna take it, type in Scott Tibbs Documentary. Mark. 7.08
Ivy frowned at the text message. How on earth was she meant to reply to that? He had most likely been the one to abduct Allison and now he was asking her if she was okay? She didn't know whether she should be touched or a little freaked out. He obviously didn't think she had his number which gave her the desirable option of not replying at all, but she was nearly about to ask him round a couple of minutes ago. "This constant inertia is killing me." She muttered typing a quick reply.
Not alright. I know it's John whose got her, putting het through some horrible test. I'm scared it will happen to me again. I don't feel like I can ever be safe until everyone involved in this is given what they deserve. Checking it out now x
Her quick fingers had already sent the text when she cursed herself for sending a kiss. What on earth will he think about that? Maybe he'll think it was a typo or that I send that to everyone? And why was she acting like she did with Adam in their early stages? She was happy she had sent him a subtle message, Ivy was beginning to enjoy toying with Mark just to see that muscle in his jaw tighten ever so slightly and the dart of worry in his eyes that questioned if anyone had figured him out. She wasn't going to let him win her over as easily as he did her first couple of weeks. His reply was creepy and made Ivy reach for a blanket as well as her macbook, she wrapped herself up tightly staring at the cryptic response.
"We chose this right now Ivy."
It disturbed her and for a moment she thought about deleting his number but instead texted Adam asking him when he would be home. He replied that he was home and would be coming to his official 'second home' soon. Smiling at the reply she searched for what Mark had suggested she watch thinking it was some stupid video about Scott that was an attempt to cheer her up, but stared at the sheer amount of views the video had got.
It started a little blurry and out of focus however she recognised Scott's apartment at once. There was a picture in his hand, a picture of Adam attempting to smile. It was awkward, cheesy and made him look far more innocent than he really was, it was quite sweet although most likely taken under sufferance. Maybe he's only good behind a camera? She wondered.
"This is Adam and the first thing I thought when I met the guy was what a fucking pussy." Ivy's eyes narrowed at the bastard's words and abandoned both her phone and her blanket to lean in closer to the video. "Tried to toughen him up over the years, I guess it didn't do a whole lot of good. Cause now it looks like he's probably dead." The photo was crumpled in Scott's hand, this footage must have been shot before she saved Adam then. Her dislike of Scott Tibbs was rocketing into sheer hatred as the camera panned onto Tibbs himself looking his usual gothic, stoned self introducing himself to his audience. "Since Adam didn't show up to the photo shoot of my new album I... shut the fuck up man I'm trying to do something." Ivy cringed away from the screen as she watched. No wonder his bandmates turned on him, he was an even bigger asshole to them than he was to her, he was clearly the boss swaggering around, groupies going in and out of frame all wearing similar sluttish outfits. One of them reminded Ivy briefly of the costume she wore for Adam and a wave of revulsion at herself washed over her. Was that the sort of woman he used to go for? Is his feminist vegan punk amongst those women on screen? "Next thing I hear is he might have got iced by this Jigsaw killer. To be quite honest, I don't give a shit about Adam." One of Scott's hands was in his pants and Ivy made a mental note to send the link to Daniel Matthews, to show him just what his idol was like. There was a knocking at the door and Ivy left the video running to peep through the keyhole.
"Come on Ivy it's me I have really important news!" Adam's voice was shinning with excitement, he was practically hopping from foot to foot as he waited outside. Once she saw that it really was him she opened the door and Adam pulled her into his arms straight away and kissed her.
"This is unexpected I've been feeling lonely." She admitted as Adam grinned.
"Okay so I just checked my emails and I had one from Vanessa Waters about the pictures I sent over to her yesterday..." Adam began building the suspense.
"No way." Ivy said forgetting about the youtube video for now.
"Yeah. They said I had an unusual style and that it was nice to see something not computer altered to perfection, that I was rough but they could see potential, you know blah blah and they would like to take me on with one of their agents." He finished his eyes gleaming with happiness and Ivy's mouth fell open already able to guess from his excitement. It was the happiest she had ever seen him and she instantly jumped into his arms again.
"I'm so proud of you." Ivy said in his ear stroking the back of his head as he spun her around.
"I'm not with the best agent but they said if I do well with the jobs they can get me, they'll help me work on a portfolio to get jobs and then I can move up eventually."
"But you've got an agent, one from such an established agency and you'll get jobs easily now. You need a portfolio sorted asap though." Ivy grinned from ear to ear before running over and pausing the 'documentary'.
"I can't believe it. How lucky am I? Photographers way better than me work for half their lives to get this kind of representation."
"Well I'm sure a bit of the Jigsaw fame did help." Ivy said and Adam nodded.
"Yeah that was the only reason Vanessa knew me in the first place."
"We need to celebrate." Ivy smiled going into the kitchen and rummaging to see if she had any champagne. There was nothing not even the bottle of Vodka since Lawrence smashed it in his drunkenness.
"We are going to. We are going out tonight I'm taking you to that restaurant we went to with Larry, or a nightclub a respectable one, or a casino." He was contagious in his excitement and Ivy did not want to ruin it.
"Let's not blow the money till we have it." She warned and Adam nodded.
"Yeah forget casino, a bar then? One where there are bouncers that stare you down if you don't look like you have money and you can wear that pink dress I like."
Ivy frowned as her phone caught her eye, "Can we not visit a bar? It just reminds me of Allison quite a lot." She said quietly. Adam followed her gaze to the phone and then nodded gently.
"Still no news then?" He asked bleakly and Ivy shook her head. "Of course not then we'll go to the restaurant or something instead what was it called?" She nodded putting on a brave face and turned back to the macbook and pressed play. Scott was no longer in his apartment, he was outside one of the crime scenes listening to one of the lower down Detectives Ivy hadn't had much contact with. He was giving a statement to the press and Scott had snuck amongst the crowd.
"and taken lead Detective Eric Matthews as his hostage. We've issued an ATB on the whereabouts of Mr Kramer. If anyone has information they are asked to contact the authorities immediately." The Detective went to leave but then stopped and spoke to another camera. "John Kramer if you're watching, you showed mercy when you released Eric's son earlier. If you wish for us to show any mercy when we catch you and we will, we'd better well see Eric Matthews in one piece. That's all." Ivy was glad she wasn't there when that particular Detective was giving his statement. She was sure she would have burst out laughing. He looked as if he was auditioning for a cameo in CSI rather than giving a serious statement. It all seemed so horribly cliched to Ivy.
"What are you watching?" Adam's voice came over her shoulder and made her jump, nearly sending her laptop to the floor.
"Something that Mark told me to watch on youtube about Jigsaw. It could be nothing." She lied shielding the laptop from him. She didn't want to ruin his excitement by showing him what a dick Scott was, but Adam wasn't going to let her keep this a secret.
"Well let me watch." And he pulled the laptop towards him. He paused in his movement. "Is that Scott? Why the heck are you watching about him for?"
"I was recommended to watch it." She replied hotly giving up and pressing play again. The couple watched the whole thing as it switched from more of Scott worshipping her Uncle to a clip of a reporter trying to question Amanda ending in the reporter being punched to the ground and Amanda walking away, cigarette in hand. After seeing a rubbish interview with one of the Detectives who kicked him out, Scott attempting to speak to Daniel in St Eustace hospital and some well deserved hilarity as the genius tried to 'spread the word about Jigsaw' to some children.
"That's your best friend who is meant to be a good friend to you." Ivy pointed out as they both recoiled away from the self-proclaimed 'rockstar' licking some poor girl's car window. Adam said nothing. Eventually the video came back to Scott Tibbs apartment where Scott was once more ranting about how no one would give him information.
"I'm gonna do a fucking test. I'm gonna prove I can survive a brush with death and come out stronger than before. I'm gonna make a fucking game. Put that shit down and...and you fucking get over here help me." Scott began shoving his bandmates around the room to assist him in making a trap.
"You don't think they actually filmed it do you?" Adam asked his eyebrows creased in worry.
"No they couldn't have, the police got there and saved him they were nowhere to be found." Ivy said at once although she became intrigued as the footage cut to the axe splitting the watermelon in half.
"That explains the random melon." Muttered Adam and Ivy nodded as Scott reset the trap and sit in the seat.
"You hit this switch and it starts the timer and the drill. Drill's gonna be winding this rope which is attached to the axe. Once this timer hits zero these blades will cut the rope, if I'm not out of my bindings then I catch a fucking axe in my chest. And there's this saw behind me..." Scott narrated and Ivy shook her head.
"And he's so cocksure about all of this. At least my Uncle has an engineering degree."
"Too bad Amanda and this other apprentice don't. Maybe that's whats making them kill other people for the fun of it." Remarked Adam as they watched Scott being taped up telling them to keep shooting. It was weird seeing a trap actually be played out like this and both Adam and Ivy lent in closer despite themselves. Ivy lent her head against Adam's shoulders as the saw began and a buzzing filled their ears. Scott began to struggle as someone picked up the camera.
"What the fuck are you guys doing?" Asked Scott as people began to leave. "Where are you going?" Soon a loud cry bellowed from his lips and his face contorted in pain as one of his bandmates tied a gag around his mouth. Ivy's eyes widened, they wanted him dead? They did just leave him. The door shut on the camera the bandmates had picked up and the video ended. Ivy sat there stunned.
"There are a lot more murders in the world than what we see on TV." She whispered feeling sick. "They left him to die."
"Yeah like your Uncle left me." Retorted Adam snidely. "Let's look at the comments." He cried and scrolled down to see them.
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!
So...he's dead?
Why is this on Youtube children could see this!
Duh Duh DUHHHHHHHH - JIGSAW STRIKES! THIS DUDE IS INVISIBLE, INVINCIBLE.
MAJOR RESPECT
"Haha someone says he deserves all he got." Ivy grinned looking at one of the replies. There were many likes and most people seemed to agree with the anonymous post.
"People think he's dead." Murmured Adam with a frown. "Wait why the fuck is my name on here?" He asked pointing to another comment. Adam looks so cute I feel bad for him, this Scott Tibbs is a dick.
"Yeah you're sort of featured in this video before. How Scott began this weird obsession over Jigsaw." Ivy said awkwardly and Adam rewinded the video his eyes become more and more downcast as he did. "I hate to say I told you so..." Ivy trailed off watching him for a reaction.
"Yeah. You were right. Man everyone will see this and know who I am there's like a new comment a minute." Adam looked away. "But I need to tell Larry I have another fan."
"Well there are more likes than dislikes and that cheers me up." Winked Ivy.
"You have an evil side to you." Adam teased poking her in the ribs as she sent a text to Mark saying she'd seen it.
"Yes but the retards clearly haven't realised that we can trace the username of whoever uploaded this, find the bandmates and convict them of attempted murder." She smiled knowing Mark would already be taking care of that piece of business.
"Hey look. The video's just been removed." Adam pointed at the screen where a Youtube announcement had come up in place of the video.
"Oh no I wanted a copy of that." Stropped Ivy playfully her grin intensifying at the wicked thought.
"Shut up." Adam said standing up and walking to a plastic bag Ivy hadn't realised he had brought with him. "I guess they can't really keep someone being tortured on a social media site." Ivy nodded and watched him pull out the clothing he had worn the other day to the restaurant. He looked at her still on the sofa, "Well come on, get your dress on." Ivy blinked and then smiled and bounded off to her bedroom ready to get all dolled up. She popped her head back round the door to see Adam stripping his trousers off.
"You realise this is our first official date yes?" She asked and he frowned.
"I thought that Chinese we had was our first date?"
Ivy blushed remembering how early on in their relationship that was. It seemed like another lifetime ago. "Our second official date then." She smiled disappearing back round the corner.
"And this time I'm ordering a bigger steak." She heard Adam mutter as he tugged his smarter trousers on.
Oh Scott Tibbs you will never learn will you? Poor Adam, Scott's such a little bitch. That gem of a documentary always cheered me up a little when I first found it! It worked so well I thought it would a shame not to add it in. Especially as we never knew the outcome of his 'test'. Surely Jigsaw noticed him for it? What happens though, whether Scott lives or dies we will have to wait to find out.
Read and review please :)
