Reviewers;
Duh Bomb: Dumb but that's exactly what fifteen year olds do! Have you seen what freshman in high school do? Its stupid and so short term.
Mani Nova: Well, a kiss with Sakura equals death if she doesn't allow it. Ino, as retainer, is less than death.
7th demon of Razgriz: Live is a terrible streak of bad luck.
XxAshishxX: But without them, you wouldn't have good stories, right?
RukiaLover89: Oh...and he will...duh duh duh...
Logan Locke: Ah! I see your view on the parents now. And yes, Sakura must be quick to gain control, something that she had when younger and now is suddenly taken away to live without...Just imagine an EMP knocking out technology...we'd be kind of screwed up for a long while. And the spousal abuse of rumor I thought helped to show the care and loving family Sakura grew up with, unlike someone else's family who'll be discussed in about twenty chapters from now...yes...twenty. I got myself another long story, Logan.
As for Naruto, his own side begins to form at his many reservations are being split among his magical and unable to remember mind. I'm glad you liked Ino's background as she has a crush on Naruto, but as a crush. Beautiful girls in life to me seem to have numerous crushes. And yes, the law works against them in this manner.
AN: Hey you guys...I posted later...because I was depressed at the number of reviews. It took a week to get six? and four days to get 2? Is the story going well, or is it bad? Anyways, I think it's also some people's spring break, but here you go! Now, the ultimate sacrifice must be made!
Fire & Ice
Arc 1: Conceal It
Chapter 5: Death with a Kiss
Last time on Fire & Ice
Down in the square, Naruto and Ino ended their passionate kiss.
"Wow…"
"So…do you think Lady Sakura will like that kind of kiss?"
Naruto backed up from Ino, who was flustered beyond reproach and blushing up a storm of a red hue upon her royal blooded cheeks. "So, you think she'll like that type of kiss?" Naruto asked, embarrassed at what he was doing, but if he was wrong, Sakura might hate him forever.
"Naruto…she'll love it." Ino smiled blushing. "I'm positive about it."
"I'm just worried about her being the princess and I being her servant, you know?"
Ino smiled brighter and tapped her friend's shoulder. "Naruto, as of the year that I've been here, and the one thing I'm sure of is that Sakura doesn't care about that. Plus, she adores you."
"Me?"
"Yeah, Baka. She likes having you around, even at those meetings where she's forced to go to. She likes your presence."
"I hope so. Thanks Ino."
"Don't mention it…Literally, don't. If Sakura finds out you kissed me before you kissed her, then you could get beat up pretty badly." Ino spoke before smirking. "But maybe that anger will turn in lust and you can lie down with her."
"...L-lie down with Lady Sakura?"
"You still call her that? I've told you. She likes it when you just call her Sakura. Or as she said last year. 'Only Naruto could ever call me Saku.' As she said it."
"Wish me luck." Naruto spoke as Ino smiled and waved as the boy walked off.
"You won't need it, but good luck."
Naruto smiled and moved into the castle, dodging a few friendly knights along the way. They smiled at him as they always did, as Naruto had spared with them and though he lost, it was a stack of close calls and Naruto's too honorable tactics. But if anything, Naruto was unpredictable. That was something he excelled in completely in the art of the sword. But that was why he was Sakura's bodyguard. Everyone but Sakura knew it.
Naruto made his way in the most direct route to Sakura's room, knowing that she would be there. She promised to him, that today he would be allowed to walk into her room once more. Naruto couldn't help but think that the last two months had been a fight between two lovers, but he was only his Lady's servant, but he remembered things so vividly!
Naruto stopped his thinking and knocked on the princess's door. Almost always, Sakura called out to him, but this time, she didn't. After a full minute, Naruto knocked again. Still no sign of Sakura's acknowledgement.
Naruto sighed and tried the handle, and widened his eyes at the unlocked door. Immediately, Naruto's instincts kicked in and a knife was soon out of his boot and in his hand, the matching knife of the one he'd given to Sakura for her twelfth birthday, before he left to train with his family to master sealing.
Slowly, Naruto opened the door and peered around it, ready for the sight of his Lady being held at the throat by a vicious attacker from behind during her bathing time or something similar to that. That event had happened a few months before during the winter solstice while the guards were busy with the guests. Naruto had saved Sakura's life, and then he made her promise not to tell anyone about him saving her. People saw Sakura as a girl who could defend herself, and she blushed at the first time Naruto saw her completely naked and not hiding her womanhood and breasts from Naruto's wandering and roaming eyes. That had been the first time Naruto felt his heartstrings pull for the princess.
But at seeing the room nicely made and devoid of life, Naruto sighed and put his knife away, before figuring that Sakura had finally left her room. He smiled to himself. He knew no other servants had been allowed to clean Sakura's room, so she was rather cleanly when she wanted to be. So then all those times when she made him dress her, was that…flirting?
Naruto closed the door quietly and moved to the throne room, and then the dining room, and back to the stables before he huffed in frustration. According to the other servants, she had truly been running everywhere and he had missed her by a long shot.
The Queen said she wasn't the throne room, the dining room was empty and the food lay untouched, and her horse had not been out on a ride in days. Where could Sakura be? Naruto thought and thought as he stood within the tallest tower which looked over the castle, trying to spot a head of pink hair that wasn't the Queen.
A thought occurred to him soon enough. Could she be there? Where they shared their first kiss? In the ballroom, where Naruto didn't know whether that kiss was real or not? He hadn't checked it yet, so Naruto ran full tilt to the destination.
Naruto sighed as memories of waking up every morning came to his mind. He had followed Sakura's order and had been kissing her neck to wake her up. He had then bit her lightly and drawn his tongue across the marks as they turned a dark blue and Sakura had moaned and writhed at his side, with a smile and pecked him on the cheek as a reward.
Then there were these fuzzy things around them like bright…bright…something. Geez, Naruto's memory was terrible. All he knew was that Sakura was perfect and she had to have been feeling Something for him to want him to give her hickies to hide during the royal court, right?
Naruto huffed a bit, only the smallest bit winded. He felt faster for some reason. Oh well, now he stood before the ballroom doors and he would figure this kissing thing and his feelings out right now. With that, Naruto quietly opened the door and looked around.
While Naruto spent the last rays of sunshine walking around looking for Sakura, the young teenage princess lay curled behind her parent's ballroom seats of power, crying uncontrollably into her new gloves, as tears and sniffled snobs covered her face and surroundings repeatedly. All Sakura could do was wiped it away time and time again.
Sakura's heart hurt. It hurt so badly! Why was it hurting so badly? How could a muscle as straightforward as her heart hurt her worse than when she burned her mother?! She hadn't cried like this even when she was in the darkest of her icy room!
Sakura knew the answer to all these questions anyways. Naruto. He was the cause of all her suffering, and yet she could never hate him for it. She fell in love with him all on her own and now he loved another.
That's right. Naruto did not love her anymore. His memory of their romance was gone, and if they kissed, he would die. Sakura wanted so much to heal his fractured mind and love him, but if he loved Ino now, and she loved Naruto, I mean who wouldn't? If they loved the other, how could she be so selfish as to split them apart all for her own happiness.
But damn it! This was the one thing she wanted that wasn't for the good of her village, her people, her parents. This was her heart! This was the love of her life! Sakura continued to sob once more into her gloved hands, her hair falling all around her face, shutting herself off as the sun set and the moon came out to play.
After another hour of self-pity, Sakura had run out of tears and stood up in her new attire, looking with dried tears at the moon which she thought she was like the most. And yet, it was the moon that was playing tricks on her. Playing with her love life, making her powers surge beyond her control two moons ago, and plunging her heart into the roaring fire that was life around her. Life was so unfair!
"I finally found you." A voice called out and Sakura gasped aloud at the familiarity of it all. Inside herself, Sakura winced and wished it wasn't him. Why did the moon play this trick on her once more? Was her love not enough? Sakura slowly turned to look behind her mother's wooden chair, and there he was. Naruto…Namikaze, in all his beautiful glory.
Sakura let her eyes wander around his body, noticing his lack of sweat from running around the castle. For Sakura, she knew her power to him was still flowing, she could sense it, and she should turn it off, as Naruto could continue to become faster and faster, but she couldn't touch Naruto in that way; she'd give in, and kiss his body, and then the world, her world, would come to an end. Though it had already done that apparently in Sakura's heart.
Sakura stared at Naruto keen eyes, looking only at her and not anywhere around the room; just at her. Sakura grimaced as she turned around and played with the ends of her hair which were now more salty than the usual coastal sea hair due to her crying into them. At least Naruto wasn't sweaty. At least he hadn't slept with Ino yet. But then again, it was now only a matter of time, right? Even Sakura wanted to lay with him and now, she needed to let Ino take her place.
"I was wondering where you'd gone, My Lady." Naruto called out as he walked up the steps. Sakura's heart fluttered at the sound of his voice. Was it possession she heard in his voice just now? Claiming her as his? No! He liked her retainer and she would Not be the jealous girl here!
"I…needed the fresh air." Sakura spoke quietly before her shoulder was pushed back and she was turned around to face her servant.
"I can see that." Naruto spoke and Sakura lightly gasped as Naruto's hand touched her cheek wiping away a stray tear that fell down her face. Dammit. She thought she was out of them. Sakura closed her eyes and let him use his thumb to wash away her tears that still fell without her knowledge, her mind remembering this and cataloging his warmth away for a more depressing day. "Why are you sad?"
Sakura opened her eyes and looked away, her feet rubbing against the other in nervousness. "I don't want to talk about it." Sakura didn't want to show her jealousy and yet...
"You can always talk to me. Do you not understand some political thing?" Naruto guessed at the problem. "I can help you with that."
"No, it's nothing."
"Sakura…"
Sakura gasped again and look incredulously at Naruto, who looked at her with clear burning desire in his eyes. "Did you…just call me-"
"By your name. Yes I did, Sakura."
A fire built in Sakura's stomach, flipping and shouting praise, but Sakura looked away again, but felt Naruto's face fall in sadness.
"….T-Thank you. I like the normal name." There…She said it. Now she could-
"I like your name…just as I like you."
Sakura's eyes widened, and she should have been elated, but instead, the only thing that came to her mind was the fact that she was furious. "WHAT?!"
"I-I said that…I-" Naruto paused and tried to continue, but Sakura obviously for out for anger.
"Then what was that earlier?!" Sakura asked as she rounded on him and Naruto fell down the stairs to land on his back and held himself up from the ground.
"What happened earlier?" Naruto asked, completely unknowing of the reason.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Sakura yelled as tears erupted down her red face.
"I don't!" Naruto insisted.
"You like me?! God you are such a...LIAR!"
"I am not lying! I was saying that I like you because I want to kiss you." Naruto explained.
"Oh kiss your girlfriend!" Sakura yelled back. Damn. Her jealousy came out, didn't it?
"I don't-" Naruto began to deny and the jealousy Sakura felt filled her lungs.
"Kiss INO!" Sakura yelled in his face, her body over Naruto's as his eyes widened and he gulped. And then, for some reason, he smiled stupidly, like he knew something that she did not. "You think I like Ino?"
"O-of course you do. You were kissing her." Sakura spoke as her confidence in the situation dissipated. She froze as a hand was placed once more on her cheek and Naruto smiled at her.
"I like you, Sakura...because I know that you like me."
"I-I-I…..don't…" Sakura spluttered, not being able to ever lie or bluff to Naruto to save her life. He knew every secret she had!
"You do, because I remember kissing your neck and you moaning…like this." Naruto spoke as they sat on their knees and Naruto held Sakura's hands away from her body as he moved in and began to kiss and suck on her neck, eliciting a sensuous and unconscious moan from Sakura.
Sakura widened her eyes as she felt her magic calm down even lower than her gloves. This felt…so good, like an erotic haven! Was there really anything wrong with the Naruto of now liking her? Naruto's tongue rolled and flicked over her neck to each of her cheeks, licking the fresh salt from her tears before he kissed them away.
Naruto backed up and Sakura let out a groan of wanting more and regretted it. Her loins were on fire, her hands jittery to reach out and pull him back. She wanted it so bad. She needed it. Sakura gazed deep into Naruto's eyes and saw the love he had for her, and she recoiled at the thought that he showed those eyes to Ino.
"But…you kissed Ino."
"I wasn't sure if you'd like the kiss." Naruto muttered, but Sakura understood why.
"But-…you could have anyone. W-why me?"
"Simple…you're my Saku-Chan." Naruto spoke and quickly closed the distance, and Sakura closed her eyes and opened her mouth as Naruto's tongue invaded and wrapped around her own, tying around her tongue sensuously and choked her tongue back, forcing her to elicit moan after delicious moan from her unobstructed throat.
Naruto pressed closer and Sakura fell backwards on the steps pressing into her back as Naruto pressed his member against her clothed sex, wanting to claim her as his. Sakura's moans turned needier for more of him and she wrapped her legs around Naruto's legs, intertwining them as she kissed back with what she could, holding his cheek softly as he held hers.
Just as Sakura was about to let go, Naruto winced and let out a brief groan of pain and Sakura opened her eyes to widen in horror. All around Sakura's body was a light blue and red aura, seeping out from her clothes and skin, and as it latched onto Naruto, a light sizzling sounded and Sakura watched as his skin bean to smoke.
Naruto felt Sakura kiss back and was instantly in heaven. His love was being accepted? She loved him back! They could be together, surely. Through a Namikaze-Haruno alliance that wound through marriage and-
Naruto had closed his eyes for the kiss, but felt a slight burning all around him. It hurt! But he wouldn't let his Sakura down! So he kissed harder, more fervently, and suddenly Sakura stilled in placed. Naruto thought she might be frozen in shock, but then a swift kick landed on his stomach after Sakura's legs maneuvered around his body and Naruto fell back on his back and groaned, keeping his eyes closed as pained flared around him.
Sakura breathed heavily as sweat stacked along her hairline as the magic quickly dissipated around her and from around Naruto as well. That magic didn't even follow her wishes! It just came out and attacked Naruto! He wasn't an enemy, dammit! He was her lover! And yet-…She saw Naruto's eyes barely open and there was a flash of magic along his chest and now he clutched his heart in pain from where Sakura's magic lay within, waiting for the chance to kill him.
She couldn't kiss him more than a brief respite. Nothing more. Sakura was sure of this. That part of her magic that she could not control at all. What was that?
Naruto groaned again and Sakura looked to him as she stood up, her legs wobbly and felt like the jello that the Akimichi United lands made in their unique dessert. Naruto opened his eyes as well and stood up, though much slower than Sakura.
"I guess," Naruto coughed as his heart stopped for a second, and Sakura gasped as a spark sizzled across his chest. "I deserved that one for kissing Ino before you. I'm sorry I kissed her. I promise to only kiss you from now on, Sakura."
"Y-You can't."
"…What?" Naruto breathed. What was happening?
"I forbid you to kiss me again." Sakura spoke, fear evident in her voice.
"Sakura…you liked it-"
"No! I-I hated it! You and your…amazing…no!...disgusting tongue forcing itself down my fragile throat, getting me to moan like a harlot! You disgust me!"
"Sakura, please."
"No! You kiss me again and I'll…" Sakura paused as Naruto grinned knowingly. I hate that grin. Sakura thought internally.
"You'll what?" Naruto asked as he stepped closer, coughing again. Sakura wanted nothing less than to kiss his worries away and hold him, but the sparks around him helped her keep her distance and fall back…right into her mother's chair.
"You'll what, Sakura?" Naruto asked as he leaned down, his arms trapping Sakura on either side, as her legs had subconsciously spread out in complete submission for him. "Love me more? Cause I love you."
"D-Don't say that! You kiss me and I-I'll scream!" Sakura tried to yell, but her words were falling quieter and quieter. Just shut up, brain!
"Right before my injury, we kissed here." Naruto spoke and Sakura widened her eyes. He remembered that? Through all the magic and barriers and mind wipes? He truly loved her. "You told me that you loved me, and that you'd love to writhe beneath me. I only wish to love you as you deserve to be loved."
"I-…" Naruto moved closer and Sakura pushed him away with her hands, pushing against his chest, but even they were betraying her! They barely did anything! "I'LL EXILE YOU!" Sakura yelled and that made Naruto pause for a second, as he stared into Sakura's scared eyes, and he breathed out.
"A kiss between us is worth that." Naruto spoke and moved in quickly.
"No Naruto, you don't understand! I- (MOAANNNNN!)"
Sakura moaned like she never had before. Her arms gripping his forearms, as a hand of his untied the back of her vest, her legs pushing up and humping his pelvis as he kissed her more and more. But Sakura kept her eyes opened as the magic surged out of her, and finally, her body obeyed, and this time, she pushed Naruto away before the magic could reach him.
Naruto fell back, stumbling halfway down the steps. He looked at her scared face, and for just a split second, he thought that this wasn't the game of cat and mouse that they had played in romance for their whole life. Sakura was scared.
And then… Sakura screamed.
AN: Duh Duh Duh!
