The Untold Secret
Chapter 12
"So April dear tell me is my son being nice with you?" asked Catherine Avery.
"Mum!" exclaimed Jackson.
"He's very kind and nice yes," answered April, a light red blush graced her cheeks.
"Was he gentle?" asked Catherine.
"Oh my god," groaned Jackson, dropping his head into his hands at the nurses station.
April just nodded and both her and Jackson thanked god when their pagers went sounded. Muttering hasty apologies they rushed to the ER.
"Thank god that's over," muttered Jackson.
"There's still dinner as long as she doesn't ask about our sex life again," muttered April.
"It's my mother she will," answered Jackson.
"How'd it go?" asked Lexie, as they joined her in the ambulance bay.
"That woman is obsessed with my sex life," answered April.
Lexie laughed. "She will be. She knew you were a virgin before Jackson and she tried to get you laid. She's a mothering type."
"I know she is it's just embarrassing," answered April. "Especially if front of Jackson and the nurses station."
"Everyone talks about each other sex life around here April you'd better get used to it," answered Lexie.
April smiled. Yes everyone was involved in everyone's lives in Seattle Grace and it was intrusive but they were family. Everyone knew everyone's business and sometimes you didn't want them to but sometime it was good because everyone could help each other. They had created their own family, their own network of people and a support system and she was used to it.
