"Crap! The Angels are going to kill me if they find out I messed this up" Gabriel thought to himself, searching from the sky for Plasmius and Sam. "I can't pick up on Sam either. Either that blast was so powerful it scrambled my brain and messed up my powers, he's found a way to evade my senses, or she's dead"
Gabriel peeked around the corner, trying to remain unnoticed to the people walking the street. There was only one person who could help him find Sam. Unfortunately, he couldn't just walk or fly there looking like he did. The people of Amity Park might be able to suspend their disbelief of ghosts, but angels? They'd either see him as the angel he was or mistake him for a crazy person.
"If I want to get help, I'm going to have to change out of these clothes" Gabriel thought before snapping his fingers.
His clothing changed so he was wearing a yellow wool sweater with a green undershirt, and blue jeans.
"That's more like it" Gabriel said. "Now I've just got to get to Danny's house so I can get his help."
Gabriel rushed through the crowd to Danny's house. If he wasn't still weak from Plasmius' attack, he could've flown there in no time, but he was content with walking. It had been years since he had become an angel so running was a bit alien to him and he tired out relatively quickly. He was used to just flying and teleporting.
It was early morning when Danny heard a knock at the door. Tucker never woke up this early and as far as Danny knew, Jessica was still asleep. Danny opened the door and found a young boy with golden blonde hair standing in front of him.
"Uh, hello Danny" Gabriel greeted.
"How do you know my name?" Asked Danny, having never met the boy before.
"Oh, how rude of me" Gabriel said. "Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Gabriel and I'm a friend of Jessica's"
Danny assumed that Gabriel was Jessica's boyfriend and that maybe he had come to confront him about the kiss last night.
"Look, if this is about my kissing Jessica; I'm sorry" Danny apologized. "We just got caught up in the moment and-"
Gabriel interrupted him "No, don't worry; I'm not Jessica's boyfriend. I just need your help"
"Help?" Danny asked. "Help with what?"
"Well you see, Jessica's been kidnapped" Gabriel started to explain.
"Kidnapped!?" Danny asked, tensing up having an idea of who Jessica's kidnapper was.
"Yes, by Vlad Plasmius" Gabriel said, confirming Danny's suspicions.
"Why did you come to me for help?" Danny asked.
"Because Jessica said that you've fought Plasmius multiple times and I thought that if anyone can help me find and save her, it's you" Gabriel said.
"How much did Jessica tell you?" Danny asked, curious if Gabriel knew his secret identity.
"That's all she told me regarding you and Plasmius" Gabriel lied, not sure if Danny would trust him if he let him know he knew his secret identity.
"That no good, cowardly, pompous, pathetic prick!" Dark Danny yelled. "It's not enough for him to kill Sam now he's kidnapped Jessica?!"
"Calm down, losing your temper isn't going to help either of us" Danny responded mentally before returning his attention to Gabriel. "Do you know where Plasmius has taken and is keeping her?"
Gabriel shook his head. "Afraid not"
"Crap!" Danny said. "Well then we're going to need a little more help"
He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Tucker's number.
"Hello?" Tucker said groggily.
"Tucker, wake up; we've got a problem" Danny said.
"What's the problem?" Tucker asked, yawning.
"It's Jessica; she's been kidnapped" Danny explained.
"Kidnapped? By who?" Tucker asked, snapping awake.
"Take a guess" said Danny.
"Vlad" Tucker realized.
"Yeah, and I don't know where we can find him" Danny said. "So I'm going to need some help"
"Got it, I'll be there in a few minutes" Tucker said before hanging up.
Sure enough, 25 minutes later Tucker was standing outside Danny's door.
"First question, who's he?" Tucker asked upon noticing Gabriel.
"My name is Gabriel and I'm a friend of Jessica's" Gabriel introduced himself.
"Are you going to help us?" Tucker asked.
"Why of course" Gabriel said.
"We're going to need a little more help" Danny said. "So I'm going to get Valerie and Danielle to give us a hand; in the meantime you two split up and search Amity Park for any signs of Plasmius and let me know if you find anything"
He changed into his Phantom form and quickly flew to Valerie's house. He tapped on the second story window, getting Valerie's attention.
"Phantom? What are you doing here?!" Valerie asked.
"Look, I really need your help as well as Danielle's" Danny said, cutting to the chase. "Plasmius has struck again and this time he's kidnapped Jessica"
"Jessica? You mean the new girl at Casper High?" Valerie asked.
"Yeah, and if I don't hurry Vlad might kill her" Danny said. "Which is why I need your help"
"Don't worry, Dani and I will help you find her and hopefully put an end to Vlad's madness" Valerie agreed.
"Great, I'm going to need you to split up and search as much of Amity Park as you can" Danny said. "Vlad could be holding her anywhere"
Valerie quickly got cleaned up, woke up Danielle and explained the situation to her. Dani of course agreed to help and she and Valerie split up to help in the search. Danny meanwhile was flying around thinking of places where Plasmius could be.
"This is all your fault!" Dark Danny yelled.
"How is it my fault?" Danny asked.
"If you hadn't grown attached to either of those girls, they wouldn't be in danger!" Dark Danny replied.
"Listen, we can play the blame game later; right now let's just focus on finding Plasmius and giving him the beating of a lifetime" Danny proposed.
"For once, I agree with you" Dark Danny said.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Heh heh, Vlad, you have no idea what you've done. Anyway, I will (hopefully) see you all in 2015. Ta ta for now!
Eddie: By the way, don't look forward to seeing Santa *holds up The Jackal pistol*. He's been very naughty this year. *laughs evilly*
Peter: Don't listen to him, Santa will be just fine. So Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.
Maybe I should ask for a little more sanity for Christmas.
