Chapter 18
Third Person
Location: Bio-Ship flying back to Mount Justice
It was quiet in the ship after the explosion. No one really know what to say. How can you say anything about what had just happened.
But the silence of it all was driving Wally more insane, so he did what he did best.
"Does this mean ghosts are real," Wally asked.
"That's what you chose to say right now!" Artemis said, pulling off her mask.
"I had to say something, and that's all I could think of," Wally said.
"Nothing about how this is way bigger than any of us thought," Robin said, running his fingers through his hair.
"Well I think it's safe to say that Conner is not involved," M'gann said, looking around at the group.
"But we still hold no evidence of that," Kal'dur said.
"Then what do we do," M'gann asked.
"Find a different place to look," Robin said.
"And hope to see Ghosty again," Wally added.
"And hope to see Conner again," Artemis said.
~YOUNG JUSTICE~
Third Person
Location: Happy Habor-Emmett's Garage-Conner's loft
"Find the average value of the function f over the interval [0,4] f(x)= 5e^(-x)...Basically find the intergral of the function... and plug in the highest interval into that function... and use that same function to plug in the smaller integral and subtract from them..." Alex mumbles to herself from her place at the coffee table. Conner was sitting down belide her on the floor, tapping his finger on the book in front of him. "Sooooo, the answer is-"
Conner grabs the pencil from her and writes down the answers. "Answer is (5/4)(1 - e^(-4))."
"Ok, it's not helping if you just give me the answers." Alex says to him.
"No, but if I do we can go out and catch a movie." He says, smiling at her as Wolf comes and lays do beside Alex.
"I think I'm spoiling you," Alex said, looking down at Wolf and started petting him. She then turns to Conner, "But I wouldn't be able to pass the test, if you don't let me practice with the homework."
"Ok, this is just really boring," Conner said.
"Homework isn't suppose to be fun," Alex says, smiling looking at him and then looked at the answer. "How do you do that?"
"Answer the question," Conner said.
"No, fly the helicopter, of course the answer," Alex said.
"Will we go to a movie if I tell you," Conner asked, smiling.
"No, but I'll get Sphere if you don't," Alex teased, smiling back at him.
Author's Note:
So I'm not dead, and I haven't forgotten about this story. It's just with the lost of the files for this story, I was lost at where I was going. It was like know how to get to B and know that you want to end at H, but having no clue how to get from B to H.
Anyways, besides this story, my writer block on my two other stories(ANGELS FALL & WINX CLUB: NATURE) that I'm working on went away, so I've had those to work with.
Long story short, I'm still here and trying, but I can't promise a schedule of updating. But please review. I like hearing how you all are reacting to the story.
