Superman accepts Superboy from the beginning everything is going great until Superboy's new power's start to develop and they get out of control. Lex Luthor manipulates him to go rouge and he starts to attack the people he loves. Author's note inside. Rated M for violence and sex.

31. Happy New Year

Happy New Year, Earthlings, Alienated, NOT Salvage. Did anyone actually prefer Invasion over Season 1? I liked Young justice more, not that much Superboy in Invasion.

I'm just doing the Superboy bits.

…Halloween

"Check out all of my candy!" Kon yells out as he opens the bag for them to see.

The Team all look inside the bag.

"Dude there's like 10 pieces in there." Roy says looking inside the bag.

"Please tell me you didn't eat them all." Batman tells him.

"Man you're not supposed to eat them until the next day." Nightwing says to him.

"No, this is all I got." Kon says looking in the bag.

"That's all you got?"

"That is so pathetic." Robin blurts out, they all snicker/chuckle.

Kon looks at them. "I thought I did ok for my first time trick or treating."

"This was not your first time." Superman says to him.

"Yes it was, first year I was with Diana, not exactly Halloween town, then second year the party at the high school, third through fifth I was in the phantom zone."

"Oh my god, this was your first time trick or treating?"

"That is so sad." Cassie says.

"I take back my pathetic."

"Even I've gone trick or treating, I'm pretty sure Batman has too." Rose tells him.

"Well excuse me for never being a child!" Kon yells at them. "Next time I feel good about something, I'll make sure not to tell you." He tells them and teleports out.

"Way ago Rose."

"He's so sensitive." Rose shrugs.

…Batcave

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Where's Bruce?" Kon asks him looking around.

"Some gala benefit."

"Oh." Kon sighs. "When is he coming back?"

"Midnight I think, why you need him?"

"I wanted to ask him something."

"Is it about Tana?"

Kon looks at him. "Did Roy post it on a bulletin board or something?"

Robin smiles. "Sorry I didn't know I wasn't supposed to know."

"It's fine."

"I think it's great."

"That's mean dude."

"That you're going to tell her."

"So you think I should tell her?"

"Yeah!"

"Really? You think I should tell my big secret?"

"Yeah, is that really a shock?"

"I thought all bat people where pro secret."

"Don't tell Bruce but I've been thinking about telling my dad."

"Your dad doesn't know?"

Robin shakes his head. "I've been waiting for the right moment."

"When is that?"

"I'm thinking death bed."

"Yours or his?"

"Mine."

Kon chuckles. "What about your mom does she know?"

"Step mom." He tells him.

"Right."

"I didn't mean to snap."

"No I get it she's not your mom."

"Do you know about me, how I got into this I mean?"

"Yeah I do." Kon nods. "When I got back from the phantom zone, I was a little bit paranoid so I did a background check on everyone."

"After my dad's coma Bruce took me in, I became Robin and now my dad wants to reconnect."

"Which is why you're hiding out in the cave."

"Yeah."

"Families aren't really my thing."

"Girlfriends aren't really mine."

"So no Tim/Cass in the future?"

"Shut up."

"You guys would make a great couple."

"So do you and Tana."

"I knew there was a reason I liked you."

The computer beeps.

"Oh no."

"What's that?"

"Ready to get your hands dirty?"

"I'm always ready." Superboy says putting his com back on from his pocket.

"Alright let's do this." Robin says getting on the computer while Superboy took off in super speed.

…

"Detective Gage."

"Superboy what are you doing here?"

"Helping."

"I don't think you should be here, Commissioner Gordon was very clear."

"I know, but we can't find Batman."

'Superboy Devil's square Border, Livewire is there sucking up all of the electricity.' Robin says on the com.

"I'm on it!" Superboy says accidently getting confused with the back and forth talk.

"On what?"

"Livewire is on Devil's square Border, form a perimeter and evacuate all of the surrounding occupants." Superboy tells her as he flies off.

"You heard him! Go! Go! Go!"

They all rush over to the square as Livewire tries to stands midair draining all of the electricity in Gotham when the cops show up she turns to them frying all of their cars.

"What the hell is Livewire doing here? This isn't even her town!" Gordon says as he takes cover behind his car.

"Damn it where is he?" Gage says.

"He who?" Gordon asks taking cover beside her.

"Hey you!" Superboy waves as he flies by with a smile.

Gordon turns to look at Gage-she had a big smile on her face. "What?" Gage asks as her smiles goes away.

"Hey you?"

"No one raises an eyebrow when you talk to Batman."

"I'm pretty sure Batman's legal, Detective."

Superboy whistles out, Livewire turns to look at him. "You do know I fight Superman right?" she says chucking.

"And you do now I'm stronger than him right?" Superboy says back flying towards her.

Livewire pulls out her hands, he gets shocked and falls down and runs seeing a fire hydrant he breaks it and puts his foot over the water getting her wet, she falls down.

"ASSHOLE!" Livewire screams at him as she rubs her head.

"How about that?" he says with a smile.

"Kid you might be quick but you're not faster than Lighting!" she quickly gets up wet and throws her hands up shooting lighting out of them.

Superboy stands still as Livewire tries to fry him for almost 3 minutes before she realizes it wasn't working, at all.

"Done?"

"How'd you do that?"

"Yeah like I'm telling you that."

"You gonna punch me now?" she asks him.

"That shouldn't come as much of a shock?" Superboy jokes and punches her out.

…Daily Planet

"Things have been weird between me and Tana."

"Yeah?" Clark says typing on his computer not really paying attention.

"Yeah, it cause of her parents, they don't like me."

"What a shock."

"Maybe she doesn't love me." Conner says, Clark stops typing and looks over at him. "You know people keep saying that love will conquer all, but what if love doesn't conquer all, what if love isn't enough to conquer everything-why are you looking at me like that?"

"You're asking my advice." Clark says with a smile.

"I'll just look it up in the internet." Conner says standing up.

"No, no, no, no, no." Clark says quickly. "Sit back down it's fine." He says to him. "So you and Tana are having problems?"

"Yeah, her parents."

"They don't like you."

"Hate is a more accurate word."

"Do they know you that well?"

"No, they just assume, that I'm going to get Tana pregnant and ruin her life."

"They said that?"

"Yeah, they also said I'm not good enough, that I need to go to college, I need a job but not just any job an excellent job one that will provide for Tana wanting to visit Russia and Italy while living in France."

"Wow, that's very-"

"True."

"I was going to say harsh and unrealistic."

"But true." Conner says.

"They told you this?" Clark asks him.

"Yeah at dinner, before the dinner her dad had actually offered to buy me off."

"Oh, God, I hate these people."

"It's not their fault. I mean, if they don't think I should be with Tana, it's probably best that we break up before-"

"Before what?"

"Before I tell her about me."

"Oh." Clark says as his face goes blank.

"Yeah."

"Well…"

"If I tell her, then she'll figure out who you are so…"

"That's why we're having this conversation."

"I'm losing her I can feel it."

"Well if you're thinking about telling her you're going to have to tell her the whole story not just what you feel like."

"If I don't I'll lose her."

"Maybe that's not a bad thing."

"You think we should break up."

"I'm just saying if she would still love you if you told her."

"Yeah she would."

"Ok." Clark says to him. "But, Conner, Tana's parents are wrong. They don't know what they're talking about."

"Thanks."

"Big, fancy, arrogant creeps."

"Kal." Conner says a little surprised.

"When I get my hands on them."

"Stop it." Conner says rolling his eyes thinking he was just playing around with him.

"Handing down all-knowing proclamations, I mean, how the hell do they know if you and Tana will last or not? Have they seen you? Have they talked to you, I mean really talked to you? Has he talked to any of your friends? No. They spent exactly two days with you, telling you how bad you are for their daughter, playing the big shot!" he says angry, Conner looks at him. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Nothing, I've just never really seen you angry before." Conner says honestly. "Except at me." he adds. "It's nice."

"Shut up." Clark tells him a little defensive. Conner smiles at him, Clark shakes his head. "Get out." he says to him pointing at the door.

"Thanks for the pep talk." Conner says walking out of the room.

…Thanksgiving

"It's fun." Zatanna says picking up red and orange colored leaves putting them in her basket

"Sure." Kon says picking up a yellow leave and putting it in Zatanna's basket.

"They're decorations, it's a new tradition."

"Right."

"Problem?"

"Do you think I should tell Tana that I'm Superboy?"

"No." she answers quickly.

"Wow you could at least think about it?"

"When you do something to convince me that you're falling in love with Tana and not with being in love, I'll think about it."

"That's not true."

"Then convince me that she's different than Mike Shepard, Wendy Harris, and Kim Walker or the girl at the diner. I mean, you have a huge heart, and I love that about you but you can't trust it."

"I love her Zatanna."

"Ok, and when she finds out that you are a clone of Superman and Lex Luthor that you were made to be a weapon to destroy Superman, that you have powers that makes Superman and the whole Justice League scared of you and let's not forget the fact that you will never age. Will she still love you?"

They look at each other.

"Ouch." Kon says after a while.

"I'm just being realistic."

"Then thank you for your honestly." Kon says to her and walks away.

"Dinner's at 6!" Zatanna yells out.

Kon waves her off.

…Christmas

"I have a present for you." Clark says to Conner as they walk into his apartment that was filled with Christmas decorations red, green, and blue, the douglas-fir tree with twinkly lights.

"Awesome I got something for you too." Conner says as he looks around the place.

"You did?" Clark asks a bit surprised.

"Yeah, was I not supposed to?"

"No, I mean thank you."

"I'll go get it and we can exchange." Conner says as he looks around and sees the apartment filled with Christmas decorations. "You and Zatanna should start a support group or something."

"Funny."

"Be right back." Conner says then teleports out.

Clark walks to the tree and picks up two presents one blue and the other one red, Conner reappears.

"Here you go."

"You got me two? I only have one."

"It's from my parents, open it up."

"Now?"

"Yeah."

Conner opens up the red presents tearing it up then opening the box. "It's my shirt."

"Yeah, it took me a while but I got the shirt to stabilize under pressure."

"Are you serious?" Conner says exited as he tries to tear it with his bare hands. "This is so awesome, thank you Kal." He hugs him, Clark hugs him back with a smile.

"I'm glad you like it."

"Well I didn't know what to get you." Conner says pulling away, he grabs Clark's present and gives it to him. "But I hope you like it."

"It's small."

"Just hurry up."

Clark opens up the present and smiles. "Where did you find this?" he asks looking at the picture Martha Kent, Johnathan Kent, Clark and Conner with a Happy birthday banner in the background.

"In a pile of old pictures, do you like it?"

"I love it kid."

"It's hard to shop for a guy who has everything."

"I still love it kid." Clark says as he hugs him. "Ok, open my mom's."

"Ok." Conner tears it open. "It's a…sweater?" he says not sure what it was.

"My mom made you." Clark says to him.

"It's disturbing." Kon says looking at it.

"It's a Christmas Sweater."

"What do you expect me to do with it?"

"Wear it."

"You fucking nuts? I wouldn't wear this even if it would it save the solar system."

"Come on just put it on."

"No." Kon tells him and teleports out.

…Mount Justice

Kon teleports right in the briefing room as they train, Robin and Lagoon boy sparing, Rose looking at them as she sits on the floor looking bored and Blue beetle yelling at them.

"If Kal comes in, tell him I'm not here." Kon says as he starts to walk off.

"Kon." Kal says flying in.

"He's not here." Rose says to him.

"Thanks Rose."

"We were having such a good time why are you ruining it?"

"I'm ruining it? You're the one making me ware that thing."

"I'm not making you, it's a gesture."

"An ugly gesture."

"I thought you didn't care about looks."

"I hate Christmas!" Kon growls at him.

They turn to look at him.

Kal tosses him the sweater at him. "Bad boy!" Kon growls at him. "I don't even know why I try anymore."

Kal walks off then flies off.

"That was too mean wasn't it?"

"Kinda."

"Great, now I have to apologize."

…Mount Justice

"GUYS GUESS WHAT!"

"I'm not good at this game." Rose says as she sharpness her sword with a waterstone.

"Tana invited me to her house in Hawaii."

"Dude that is so fucking awesome!" Roy yells out.

"I know, Christmas in Hawaii, how awesome is that?"

"Fucking awesome!" Roy says again.

"Nightwing, I need a fake passport." Kon says pointing at him.

"I gotcha man!" Dick says getting on the computer.

"And I need money for a plane ticket to Hawaii." Kon says point at Roy.

"I got nothing." Roy says to him.

"That's ok, I got savings."

"You do?"

"You don't?"

"Wait, you're going to Hawaii?" Rose asks him.

"Tana's parents asked me to come and I said yes."

"Don't her parents hate you?"

"Yeah."

"So they're bribing you." Roy says.

"Dude I'm going to Hawaii, they can do whatever they want to me."

…Daily Planet

"You got that sad little girl look on your face after you've been with your dad." Clark says to Lois as she sits opposite of him on his office.

"No I don't." she whines, Clark gives her a knowing look. "He wishes we could spend Christmas together with Lucy."

"Well, do it."

"She's in Peru and he's going god knows only." She says irritated and looks at him. "What are your plans?"

"I'm thinking about driving a truck right off the bridge." Clark says to her, Lois eyes widen. "Oh, I'm being melodramatic and self-pitying."

"You love Christmas."

"I love it-you know, when I have family around. But this year Conner's going surfboarding in Hawaii with Tana and The mooner's. I thought after his backpacking trip around the world for almost 4 years I could at least have him for Christmas this year."

"The mooners? As in-?" she says about to say something dirty.

"Tana's parents." He interrupts her, before she could say anything. "They treated Conner like trash when they first meet, now they're trying to make it up to him by taking him to Hawaii."

"Well hopefully they don't feed him to a shark."

"Nah, he knows how to swim." Clark shrugs. "You know you could probably get a ticket to Peru."

"And spend my Christmas with my sister? Alone? You are nuts?"

"So what are you going to do?"

"Me? Well I am going to…well I don't want to tell you."

"You're going to Netflix things aren't you?"

"Only until New Year's over."

"Lois, this is a time to be together with your family. You should get your sister and pull some stings to get your father out of where ever he is and make Christmas happen."

"No, that is not happening." She says stubbornly. "Isn't possible." She says firmly.

"Christmas-is about making the impossible happen."

"You mean like you spending Christmas with Conner."

"Ok, you know what? That hurt." Clark says to her as he looks at his computer.

Lois looks at her phone flipping through it looking at things. "Thinking of Conner?" she asks him after a couple of minutes.

"No." Clark says to her. "Thinking about your dad?"

"No. Lucy." Lois says honestly.

"You just want to Netflix Grey's anatomy without feeling guilty, alright."

"You need to accept that you won't have Conner this Christmas."

"I am not enjoying this holiday season, at all." Clark says crossing his arms.

"Yeah, well, neither am I." Lois says annoyed as she stands up walking out.

…Airport

"Can you believe I've never actually been in an airplane before?" Conner asks Clark as they walk in the airport filled with people trying to get home for Christmas. "You're being quiet." He says to his brother, Clark looks at him. "I promise to text 85 times a day." he says to him trying to be funny, Clark stops walking. "Why are you stopping?" he asks.

"I don't want you to go to Hawaii." Clark says to him.

Conner looks at him angrily. "You're changing your mind?"

"You and me... we're the closest thing we have to family."

"You can't just change your mind." Conner snaps at him.

"And family spends Christmas together. We're spending Christmas together."

"You're serious?!"

"If I let you go, you're gonna have a good time-"

"What's wrong with that?!"

"Everything. Because that's what we'll be to each other, just two people who don't spend Christmas together."

"So you want to be two people who spend Christmas together but one of them is really, really mad?"

"I know deep down you care. I just hope not too deep down."

"Can we at least talk about this?

"No." Clark says stubbornly. "It's my job to prove to you every day that you are loved in this world. And if doing that makes you angry-"

"It makes me furious!"

"Well, then that's the price I pay. But you will know beyond a doubt that I can't just let you go flying off and not have it absolutely ruin my Christmas. Because right now, the way things are, there's... no Christmas without you."

They stay quiet. Conner looks over and away. Clark looks at him and then away. Finally they look at each other. Conner leans over and hugs Clark.

"I love you, too." Conner says to him.

Clark smiles with a sigh, Conner smiles back.

…Happy New Year

Superboy is running down a sewer tunnel and notices clay on the floor, he knees down and takes a look around. Clayface rises up from the water and grabs Superboy by the neck. He pulls Superboy to his body, trying to suffocate him. "You always fall for this gag!" Clayface yells out laughing. "Struggle all you want, kid! Even a Kryptonian has to breathe! "

Let him go!" Miss Martian yells out dropping her camouflage as her eyes glow green and uses her telekinesis to free Superboy Clayface lunges at Superboy and misses. 'Delta squad! We flushed the target, converge at our signal.' She says in the mindlink.

"We could play at this all day, missy! Nothing you can do hurts me!" Clayface yells out as Robin attacks Clayface from behind with electrified batarangs. "That don't work anymore!" he laughs.

"Then try this!" Superboy yells out as he pulls out a pill from his pocket causing his to go solid from the inside as Clayface screams to attack he flicks the pill in his mouth.

"Distraction went off as planned, Robin." Superboy says to him as Robin comes out of the shadows. "Thanks."

"Just happy it worked." Robin says with a smile.

Blue Beetle and Bumblebee arrive late both flying in.

"Phew! Dude! You stink." Blue beetle says to Superboy.

"Guess I'll need a shower." Superboy says as he gets out of the water.

"Delta squad to Cave: Target neutralized." Miss Martian says on the com.

"Good work, Delta."

"Come on home, Nightwing, out."

…Mount Justice

Recognized: Superboy, A-0-4.

Miss Martian, B-0-5.

Bumblebee, B-1-7.

Robin, B-2-0.

Blue Beetle, B-2-2.

"Slow down, beautiful! Wanna tell you what's on for tonight!"

"Oh, sorry, Mal, I can't! I'm already late for a lab session with Dr. Palmer." Karen says to him quickly walking away. "Rain check, baby, OK?"

"Rain check sure." Mal says obviously upset as she runs off.

"Welcome home, Angelfish." La'gaan says holding her.

"Thank you, La'gaan!" Megan says giving him a kiss.

"I'm hitting the showers." Kon says walking past them. "I'm FaceTiming with Tana later."

"Don't forget to say Happy new year."

"Clayface is safely back in his Arkham cell." Robin says to Nightwing.

"Good work!"

"I didn't do much, I just-"

"Emergency alert! United Nations' Headquarters is under attack."

"Beta's only two blocks away." Mal says to Nightwing.

"Captain Atom, a Team's beta squad is in the vicinity." Nightwing tells him. "ETA, three minutes."

…outside

"Is it snowing?" Tana asks looking at Conner as some snow falls down on him.

"Yeah."

"Aren't you cold?"

"No, figured if you couldn't be here you'd at least want to see the fireworks with me." Conner says turning the phone around when he hears some of the thunder roaring.

"Conner they're amazing."

"Happy New year Tana."

"I love you Conner."

"Love you too." He says back to her. "When will you be home?"

"One more week."

Conner turns the phone around to face him. "I'll count down the days."

Tana smiles at him. "I have to go."

"Bye."

"Bye."

"Can you just show me the snow one more time?"

"Sure."

Conner turns the phone to the sky. "It's beautiful."

"Yeah it is."

Conner lays down on the snow looking up with the phone facing the black sky as the flakes fall some of the fireworks view in.

…Planet Rann

"I'm totally walking on an alien planet!" Ravager says shocked. "Wow, this is just so cool."

"M'gann, you must say that like every day on Earth." Superboy says to her.

"Actually I kinda do." Miss Martian says to him with a smile.

"Wait, we can breathe the air here, right?" Ravager says taking a breath.

"I think we're good." Superboy says to her.

"Adam! Adam!" A girl with pale yellow skin, black hair and purple eyes runs up to him then starts specking another language.

"Great." Adam says not sure what she just said. "I think." He adds. "Zeta Squad, these are my Rannian friends." He starts introductions. "Sardath, and his daughter, Alanna." He says to them. "Miss Martian, Superboy and Ravager."

Sardath says something in rannian Zeta Squad turns to look at Adam to translate for them.

"I'm still figuring out the language." Adam says to them. "This is usually when we start playing charades."

Miss Martian smiles and her eyes glow green.

Alanna groans touching her head. "What was that?"

"Such an odd sensation." Sardath says holding his head.

"Wait, you're speaking English!" Adam says exited.

"No, they're not, but I linked us mentally." Miss Martian says with a smile. "And I'm serving as a psychic translator. They speak Rannian, we speak English, but all now hear the language they understand." She explains.

"Amazing!"

"It will make communicating so much easier."

"I'm impressed." Superboy says to her, she smiles at him.

"Perhaps we should take this inside, it is wise to use caution when harboring earthlings."

"Sardath, have you learnt anything more about why earthlings are unwelcome in this corner of the Galaxy?" Adam asks.

"The Rannian Science Command is xenophobic in general, which is why my research into interplanetary zeta beam travel is being conducted quietly."

"And why you haven't reported the theft of your technology."

"Exactly." Sardath nods. "If Science Command learned I had made it possible for aliens, especially you earthlings to zeta here to Rann, the consequences could be dire for myself and my daughter."

"I still don't get it." Superboy says. "Why the big hate for earthlings? How do they even know any earthlings to hate?"

"I assume Adam showed you this." Alanna says as a screen comes out of their mentors. "We are still unclear on the details."

"Science Command is not inclined to share intelligence with its' people." Sardath says to them.

"But we have learned there was an accident on the planet Rimbor involving earthling criminals knowing as the Justice League." Alanna says to them pointing at the screen.

"I assume you are not associated with these outlaws?"

"We are not members of the League." Miss Martian says to them both.

"Only these 6 were on Rimbor, but since then the kroloteans have posted planetary watch alerts for every criminal in the League."

"The Kroloteans!" Adam says to them holding Sardath arm. "That's who stole your Zeta platform tech! They used it to secretly invade Earth, which is how they found about other Leaguers."

"I know." Sardath says looking at him. "I told you that the last time you were here."

"Of course! Kroloteans, right!" Adam says slapping his head. "I misunderstood you, I thought it was just a rannian word for thief."

"It might as well be." Alanna says with a shrug arms crossed.

"Yeah, krolotean culture revolves around stolen tech, we heard. Question is what do we do about it?"

"My father's Zeta shield will help." Alanna says pressing some buttons on the machine. A hologram of a yellow earth appears.

"If I can perfect the design." Sardath says. "Your primitive Zeta tubes would still function within the confines of the earthling atmosphere, but unauthorized travel to and from other worlds will become impossible. In short, my shield will prevent more kroloteans from invading your world via Zeta beam while trapping any still entrenched there."

"And in the meantime Adam tells us you've located the Kroloteans' zeta platform here on Rann?" Miss Martian says.

"Indeed, but the jungles of Rann can be dangerous you earthlings will need a guide."

"I'll go, father." Alanna says to him. "You must complete your work on the zeta shield."

"But transportation out of the city of Ranagar is not also without risks, Alanna. We must disguise these earthlings."

"Look, enough with this earthlings thing. I am half-Kryptonian, and Miss Martian is…Martian!"

"You came here from Earth? Did you not?"

"Yeah, but we are not…nevermind." Superboy sighs.

…

'We should be fine now.' Alanna says to them in the midlink. 'Unless the Rannian Science Patrol comes in for routine ID checks.'

'I'll create a diversion, lead them off the train.'

'No, it's not safe I-'

'You are the jungle guide, remember? I'll ditch these guys and circle back to your father's compound, help him finish the Zeta shield.'

'Be careful.' Alanna says putting her hand on his.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun. The frumious Bandersnatch!" Adam says to the two police officers. "Got your nose!" he says as he walks out of the train. "No time to say Hello, Goodbye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!"

The two police officers run after him.

'Jabberwock? Bandersnatch?'

'His last name is Strange.' Ravager says to them.

'It's Alice and wonderland.' Superboy says, the three girls look at him. 'It's a book.' He adds. 'And a movie.'

"And down the rabbit hole I go!" Adam says using a jet pack to fly off.

…

'We'll be in range of the coordinates soon.' Alanna says in the mindlink putting her bag down.

'This is awkward.' Ravager blurts out. 'How's your relationship?'

'Fine thank you.'

'Still thinking of tell her?'

'Yes I am, Kal and I talked about so he knows.'

'And how's your fish boyfriend doing?'

'He's fine.'

'How much farther, Alanna?'

'We're close enough.' Alanna says checking the gps as she stands up. 'Now.' she tells them, Superboy rips open the door and Alanna flies off in a jetpack, Miss Martian flies off, Superboy puts an arm around Ravager waist and flies off with her. 'This way.' Alanna says taking out the Gps again and they start walking.

'Is that it?' Superboy asks.

'That's big.' Ravager says.

'Bigger than I anticipated.' Alanna says to them looking at it. 'Even this far out in the jungle, how could something this size have been built without Science Command knowing about it?'

'I'm going in.' Miss Martian says flying off in camouflage mode. 'I'll send you an image of where to rendezvous I found your entrance.' She density shifts through the wall and sees all of the kroloteans and opens a door. Superboy, Ravager and Alanna run down the forest, Superboy takes Ravager by the waist again and jumps up on the roof of the dome while Alanna flies up with the use of the jetpack. 'All clear.'

Superboy puts his hand on Ravager and Alanna teleporting to safe distance.

'That felt...odd.' Alanna says.

'You get used to it.' Ravager shrugs.

'Wait, six Zeta platforms?' Alanna says concerned looking around the building.

'Not for long.' Superboy says taking off his backpack opening it and taking out a box. 'These are small target explosives, should permanently disable the platforms without blowing the whole base. Three minute triggers will give us plenty of time get out before the Kroloteans know what hit 'em.'

'Superboy and I will plant them.' Miss Martian says taking three of the explosives. 'You two wait here.'

Superboy teleports to three platforms while Miss Martian in camouflage mode using her telekinesis places them on three other ones.

'It is so great that I came here.' Ravager says mostly to herself.

'All set, now let's blow this place.' Superboy says.

An alarm goes off.

"Incoming zeta-transmission." A krolotean says to everyone in his language. "Raise the antennae!"

'The escape route's blocked, we're trapped inside with the bombs!' Alanna says alarmed.

'Yeah with the bombs and a lot of angry company.' Ravager says as more Krolotean's show up in the zeta platforms.

"Sir what happen?"

"The Meta-Earthlings drove us back here."

'New plan, when the platforms blow, use the chaos to charge through the front door, I'll cover you.' Miss Martian says on the minklink hiding in camouflage mode.

'And then we blow the place-' Superboy gets blown up by a bomb exploding near him, and all of the five.

'Superboy! Kon! Are you alright?' Miss Martian yells out worried.

'Yeah, I'm good, go!' Superboy says as he sees the kroloteans's looking at him. He puts his hand down on the floor sending out a blue shock wave, knocking several enemies.

'The exit is clear!' Miss Martian yells out opening a door with her telekinesis, Ravager jumps then runs off, Alanna turns on her jetpack flying towards it, Superboy waits for them and runs behind them.

"The Meta-Earthlings followed us back!"

"This humiliation must not stand!" the leader yells out. "Break out the Mech!"

…

'Where did all those Kroloteans come from?' Alanna asks as the walk in the jungle.

'Earth, I think. Our teammates were set to raid their earth bases about now.' Miss Martian says to her.

'Can't you just translate their thoughts and find out for sure?' Ravager asks her.

'Their minds are too alien, it'll take hours, maybe days to learn their language psychically.' Miss Martian answers her. 'And I definitely couldn't do it without them noticing.'

'Gotcha.'

Superboy stops walking as his power hearing picks something up. 'They're following us. Or something is. Something big.' He says in the mindlink, he uses his infrared vision and sees a giant Mecha tank coming towards them. 'Move!' he yells out.

They all take off flying, Ravager runs off in the opposite direction, Miss Martian goes into camouflage mode, and a blast of the Mecha tank hits Alanna's jet pack, she takes it off and Superboy catches her and gets hit in the back he screams out as he lands on his back and slides down going off a cliff. He holds on then sees the Mecha tank coming towards them so he jumps off holding Alanna in his arms. They land near some rocks, Superboy gets ready to fight.

'Hurry, in here!' Alanna says to Superboy waving him in an empty cave, they sigh as the two mecha tanks walk off.

'Superboy, Alanna, are you-'

'Safe, for now.' Superboy replies. 'You?'

'We lost them.' Miss Martian says to him, as she appears in front of Ravager while she hides in the red tree leaves.

'Can we leave now?' Ravager asks a bit annoyed.

'Give their patrols a chance to move on.' Superboy says to them.

'Good idea, we'll meet up below the Mag-rail when it's safe.' Miss Martian agrees.

'And then regroup with Adam and my father to determine what to do about this krolotaian base.' Alanna adds sitting down.

'M'gann, be careful.'

'You too, Kon.'

"So, how long have you two been together?" Alanna asks out loud.

"What? No we're not-we never…no."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"No."

"Oh can she hear us?"

"It doesn't work that way." Superboy says to her as he goes to sit down with her. "Translation's basically automatic, she is not conscious of what we say out loud." He explains.

"Well then talk, I live light years away so you'll never see me again, makes me the perfect confidante."

"It's complicated." Superboy says to her. "And weird." He adds.

"Hey I have a crush on an alien from another planet. Who am I to judge?"

"Ok, you asked for it." Superboy sighs. "See, I'm a clone, force grown in the span of a few months to look like this." He says pointing at his body. "M'gann's always somehow seen that I could be more than the weapon I was created to be."

"Complicated, but sweet." Alanna says to him. "Go on." She nods at him.

"M'gann's a shapeshifted, to her looks are clothing for the mind inside. Easy to change. But I'm the opposite. It's become clear the processes used to create me had a side effect. I don't visibly age. At all. I'm not immortal, I'm aging internally but I'll always look-"

"this good?" she says with a smile.

"Standard blessing and curse." He shrugs.

"Seems like a shapeshifted would be the perfect match for someone suffering from your condition."

"Maybe, but she's with La'gaan, he's kinda a jerk, but he is good to her."

"It's obvious she still has feelings for you, perhaps she regrets leaving you for him."

"She didn't." Superboy says to her. "We were never together."

…

Miss Martian pulls out a leave from Ravager's hair. "Thanks."

Miss Martian smiles at her. "Race you to the Mag-Rail." She says flying off.

Ravager starts jumping from tree to tree. "Hey which way?" she asks looking around from a tree.

Miss Martian flies up high. "This way, we're close." She says as she flies ahead of Ravager. Ravager gets hit by a blast from a Mecha tank and falls down from the tree. "Rose!" she yells out and gets hit before she could do anything.

…

"We have captured two Metas. It is sufficient. Prepare for departure."

"Ay, Captain."

"Course set for Krolotea."

…

Superboy sticks his head out of the cave and uses his telescope vison. "I can see the Mag-rail track up ahead."

Alanna looks at him confused as she talks in Rannian.

"Miss Martian isn't translating." Superboy says, he puts his fingers on his temple. 'M'gann, can you hear me?' he says trying to talk to her. 'Something's wrong.'

…

Superboy takes out one of the Mechs, while Alanna draws another one away, towards the blue sand bog. It consumes the vehicle, but Alanna whistles the krolotean tossing him a vine so he can escape. Superboy stops the last Mech, throws its driver out and pries open the cargo doors. Miss Martian is passed out, Ravager not fully conscious groans. Superboy takes her.

"Conner." Miss Martian mumbles.

Superboy puts her down as the ship starts to shoot, at them Superboy moves the Mecha tank to take cover.

"They still trying to capture us or is it just a bitter revenge thing now?" Ravager asks as she takes cover.

"Either way, we discourage them." Superboy says as he crunches down beside her. "You game?"

"Me? I'm big game." She says with a smile.

"Take care of her." Superboy says to Alanna as he takes Ravager's hand and teleport inside.

"The glowing yellow thing looks important."

"Blow it up. I'll cover you."

After a prayer of sorts, Miss Martian wakes up.

"-wake up!" Alanna prays.

'Alanna, what happened?' Miss Martian says opening the mindlink.

'Oh thank goodness, I can understand you again.' Alanna says with a big smile. 'You and Ravager were captured, but we rescued you.'

A couple of the krolotean wave at the ship, Alanna and Miss Martian notice them. Miss Martian picks one of them up with her telekinesis as her eyes glow green he struggles to get free then his body falls limp as she enters his mind.

'What just…' Alanna says horrified as she sees the alien fall in a catatonic state starts.

"Time to go!" Ravager says as only a minute remind on her mini bomb.

Superboy takes her hand and teleports out, he sees Miss Martian awake, Ravager pulls her hand away. "You ok?" he asks her.

"Fine." She says with a smile.

Superboy watches as two of the Krolotean's take the catatonic one away. 'M'gann, what did you do?' Superboy asks her.

'Never mind that now.' Miss Martian says dismisses him. "We have to get back to Earth." She says out loud. "I know what the Justice League did on Rimbor. I know what happened during their missing 16 hours."

…Tana's apartment

"What are you making?" Tana asks from the bathroom.

"That chicken soup you like." Conner says as he puts down plates.

"You don't have to."

"It's an apology for not going with you to Hawaii."

"It's ok, you wanted to be with your brother."

"No I didn't, I wanted to be with you, Clark didn't want to be by himself."

Tana comes out of the bathroom. "I think we should talk."

"Ok, I wanna talk to you too."

"I should go first."

"I love you Tana, and I want to tell you the truth."

"I'm breaking up with you."

"Ok…wait what?"

"We are too different and this isn't working-"

"No, don't say that."

"You need someone who can-"

"Stop."

"Give you what you want."

"What I want? I'll be honest, I don't even know what I want half the time."

"You want to jump off a plane, and hike and go dancing, I don't do that. I've never done that."

"I want to be with you."

"I don't."

"What? You don't love me anymore?" Conner asks her, Tana looks at him. "It's because of your parents isn't it?"

"No."

"Yes it is, they don't think I'm good enough for you so you're breaking up with me."

"I'm breaking up with you because you and I are incompatible."

"Opposites attract, basic law of the universe."

"You should leave, I'll turn off the stove." Tana says as she walks to her stove.

"So that's it?"

"Yes. I'm focusing on my job."

"I read that article you wrote about the sharks, 'The most misunderstood animals of the sea.' I read it, it was because I took you to Florida and I talked my friend to taking us backstage in the aquarium."

"So what?"

"You wrote it because of me and I bet Lois loved it."

"What do you want from me Conner?!" Tana yells at him.

"I want you to tell me the truth."

"That it was my parents?"

"Yes, so screw them and let's be together."

"You want the truth? The truth is my mom and dad threaten to pull my inheritance."

Conner looks at her listen to her heart beat, she was telling the truth. "Don't expect me to wait around for you."

"I don't."

Conner walks out of the apartment.

…Mount Justice

Kon groans as he sits up. "Going down is such a downer."

"Yeah well, that's what happens when you gets sucked into the magical heroin." Zatanna says to him. "How you feel?"

Kon takes a breath. "Better actually."

"Got it out of your system?"

"Yup."

"What happened?"

"She broke up with me." Kon turns to look at her and sees her arm. "Did I do that?"

"Yeah, my fault though I should have known better."

Kon falls back down on his bed and looks at Zatanna. "She said that her parents were going to pull her inheritance money if she didn't break up with me."

"I'm sorry Kon."

"Yeah, me too."

"For what?"

"You were right."

"About what?"

"Tana, she didn't love me."

"I'm sure she did, she just…"

"Didn't love me enough."

"I didn't want to be right."

"But you were."

"You really loved her huh?" Zatanna asks as he lays down looking at him.

"Yeah, last time I make that mistake with a woman." Kon says staring at the ceiling, Zatanna cuddles up with him.

…Oblivion Bar

Zatanna is sitting at the bar, with a martini sitting in front of her, she sighs, Kon walks up to her.

"Hey."

"Hi."

They kiss each other on the cheek.

"Okay, look, just to be clear, I asked you out for a drink to talk, not because I'm desperate for female company."

"You think of me as female company?"

"Can I get you anything?" Blue Devil asks.

"Whisky up, please." Kon says to him. "And my granddaughter here will have another of whatever that is."

"Martini-6 olives, but no, I'm fine."

"And tequila." Kon says picking up two fingers.

Blue devil puts down the drinks.

"Okay, one more, one more." Zatanna says chucking down the tequila, she makes a face. "Don't let me do magic." She says to Kon as he chugs down his tequila and then the whisky, he waves for more. "So where going to get drunk?" she asks him. "Isn't that a Roy thing?"

"He's busy."

"Kon, you got dump, broke up with your girlfriend. I totally get that you don't feel like sex."

"I feel like sex."

"Oh."

"Sex is what I feel like. Now, I could jump Rose, but doesn't seem right somehow. Do you agree?"

"Well, what matters is that it doesn't seem right to you."

"I still don't trust her." Kon shrugs as he chugs more of the refile tequila. "Look, I've been alone now for quite a while, which is not like me."

"Yeah, well, when we open ourselves emotionally and get hurt, we're reluctant to allow ourselves to be that vulnerable again."

"It's been, like, six weeks."

"Well that's..."

"A very long time."

Zatanna turns to look at him as he slips down his whisky. "Yes, of course it is." She says after a while.

"Look I'm not promiscuous, Z." he says to her, she makes a face. "I don't sleep with just anybody. I do require an emotional connection."

"Mm-hmm." She does not believe him.

"It's spiritual to me. And fun, of course. Who doesn't like sex, right?"

"Hey! We should order food don't you think?" she says getting a little uncomfortable.

"You're right."

She looks at him in surprise. "About the food?"

"I have been protecting myself, without the risk of pain, there can be no possibility of pleasure or joy or love."

"Yes, yes, and regaining that willingness to take a risk that can take time."

"No." Kon says to her.

"No?" Zatanna asks.

"I am done protecting myself. I'm ready to move on."

"I don't remember saying anything like that."

"Hey." Kon says waving for more drinks.

"You sure you're ready?" she asks him.

"Here you go." Blue devil says pouring down more drinks for him.

"Thank you." Kon says to him, he raising his glass for a toast, Zatanna picks up her tequila as well. "To love, and joy." they clink glasses, she puts down her glass while he chugs down his tequila. "WHOA!" she looks at him a little surprised, Zatanna laughs awkwardly. "I hate Roy." She whispers to herself.

…Mount Justice

"This is because I slipped isn't it?" Kon asks Dinah as she sits legs crossed.

"You hurt Zatanna-" she starts.

"I apologized."

"She forgave you."

"Done deal."

"But why did you do it?"

"Clark or Bruce?" he asks pointing at her.

"Both."

"They want to know why I did it?"

"I want to understand why you would harm yourself in that way."

"Ok."

"Ok?"

"Back then I thought it was pretty awesome, I could see shine butterflies, talking roses and feel things I never felt before." Kon starts and he takes a breath. "Because of my Invulnerability I can't feel things, except for pain sometimes, when Clark punches me or Diana if Green Lantern gives me a good knock on the head. When I was in the Phantom Zone I realized that some of the feelings where actually pretty normal."

"Go on."

"Can't miss what you never felt."

"You can't feel anything?"

"No, nothing. Not my own skin, not the wind, water-hot or cold. I used to when I first came out of the pod but it went away never really thought about it much until I ended up in the phantom zone."

"So you went to…"

"Feel something, with Tana I at least felt loved but without her…I just wanted to feel something other than pain."

"Ok."

"I'm I cleared?"

"Yes."

"Thanks for the talk." Kon says standing up.

"Don't do it again."

"Sure." Kon says with a smile and walks out of the room.

…Lucy and Olivia's apartment

Conner was faced down on the bed as Lucy now a blonde with purple hair takes pictures of his naked back, he turns to his side, she takes his picture as he opens one blue eye.

"Hey."

"Morning."

"What time is it?" Conner says blinking closing his eyes shut.

"10." Lucy says quickly looking at the alarm clock.

"Wow, I totally slept in."

Lucy smiles at him. "Nice dreams?"

"Yeah, where's Olivia?"

"Work."

"At 10 am?"

"She's a bank teller."

"I thought she was a writer?"

"Yeah but she needs to pay the bills."

"And you?"

"I'm a waitress, I have an apron it's very glamorous."

"Were you talking my picture?"

"Several." She says taking a picture. "I was wondering if I could draw you."

"Draw?"

"Please?" she says putting her hands together begging.

"Maybe."

"I'm taking that as a yes." She stands up, she had pj shorts and a Shut up and go to sleep tshirt on. "Come on." She says taking out her sketch pad.

"What? Like right now?"

"Inspiration strikes at odd times."

"Well should I put on some clothes?"

"No, just sit down and I'll do the rest."

"Fine." Conner sits in the middle of the bed, the red/pink wrapped around his waist hiding his feet. "I sit still?"

"Yes."

"Can we talk?"

"Nope." She says drawing him.

"Can I breath?"

"Only when necessary."

"Can we stop now?"

"It's only been 5 seconds!"

"Well I'm bored."

Lucy stands up goes to her purse and pulls out her phone putting on Pandora putting it on the bed as Rihanna a song comes out.

"Now sit still."

"ok." Conner whispers as he listens to the song. 'Only girl in the world.'

…BatCave

Kon sighs as he taps his fingers nails on floor and sighs again.

"Kon you are annoying me." Batman says to him.

"Why?" Kon asks him, he wasn't doing anything.

Batman sighs as he pulls back his mask. "Are you alright?" he asks him.

"Yeah. Totally. It was so worth it."

"What was worth it?"

"Tana."

"Will you be able to remain friends?"

"Oh no, no, no most definitely no."

"I'm sorry."

"It's ok, I already moved on."

"Oh. Well, good."

"Yeah, but we're just keeping it casual. They aren't the girlfriend kind."

"They?"

"Olivia and Lucy."

"You want my advice?"

"Shoot." Kon says a little surprised sitting down on the floor looking up at him.

"I think you live your life very well." Bruce says to him as he sits on the computer chain.

"Thank you." Kon says with a smile.

"You are not afraid to change your mind when conditions change."

"Conditions always change." Kon agrees.

"Like me, you are not swept away by your emotions. You remain rational. You use your brain to pick someone for sex and companionship."

"Uh, a minor correction there, I use my heart. Love, like everything, comes from the moments where two people become one."

"No. I haven't." Bruce says uninterested as his computer beeps. "But I'll pay better attention next time." He says as he gets up.

"Ready to go viral, girl?" Harley says on the computer. "Hell-O internet! My special guest today is…I forgot her name. Let's call her Bob." She says petting the blonde girl in her pajamas tied to a chair crying. "Bob here is the one and only offspring of our esteemed district attorney. Lucky girl is having a sleepover with me, somewhere in the port of Gotham. So it's time to play my new favorite game" she says putting up a cardboard sign Round 1. "Shipping container bingo! Either you find the kid before sunrise or you send me one million dollars or" she tears up the sign. "Bye-bye, Bobby." She says laughing. "And I want real money, too. None of those coins or what have you. I hope you're good at games, Daddy D.A. on the bright side, if I kill your kid, you'll probably be elected governor. TOODLES!"

"Need help?" Kon asks getting up exited.

"No." Batman says quickly going to his batmobile.

"ok." Kon mumbles sitting back down looking at the last image of Harley with a smile.

…Port Of Gotham

Batman was untie the girl from the chair. "You found her. Too bad I have to kill you!" Harley yells out from hiding with a knife.

"Look out!" the little girl yells out.

"OUCH! Hot!" Harley yells out dropping the knife holding her hand jumping up and down.

"I have this under control Kon."

"I know but this way is a lot more fun."

"Yeah, yeah, yay guy power. I hate to break it to you strong male characters, but I'm just the sideshow."

"What?"

"Geez, you know it's bad when I'm the only blonde here and nobody figures out the plot twist." Harley says to them. "That German sex tape-reject Professor Pyg paid me. I mean, it's not like I'd take that brat on my own for what the D.A. makes? I'd be lucky to get my parking tickets fixed, never mind a cool million."

"Paid you for what?" Superboy asks her as Batman picks up the little girl.

"To keep you busy. Some shipment's leaving tonight and he didn't want it stopped. But he didn't pay me for grievous bodily harm so really, forget that guy."

"What ship is the container leaving on?" Superboy glares at her pinning her to a wall.

"Whoa, you're good at this. Get you a cape and dark secret from your past that simultaneously torments you and drives you to seek justice, and you've got the Gotham thing on lock, Boyfriend." Harley says to him, Superboy grabs her hand squeezing it. "AHHH!"

"You have no idea what I'm capable of, where are the kids?"

"They're on a Swedish freighter. Leaving out of slip 42. That's all I know." Harley says quickly. "You're just like all of them. No sense of humor."

"Not true. That outfit of yours is hilarious." Superboy says then knocks her out.

"I've called Gordon, he's on his way." Batman says as he gives Superboy the girl.

"I'm babysitting?"

"Stay here."

The little girl looks up at him in his arms. "Hi." He says to her.

"Hi." She says back.

Superboy smiles at her, she smiles back.

…Cargo ship

Batman stands on top of a container ship turning on his infrared vision on his cowl, he looks around for heat signatures. Batman stands up when he sees Superboy tearing open a cargo metal wall. He sees 20 kids holding each other crying.

"You're save now." Superboy says to them.

"We have to go." Batman says walking towards him, the kids start walking out of the metal container. "I've already called Gordon."

"Gordon sure has a long night on him."

"Kids like they'll go into the system and I have a feeling they just want to get back to their moms."

"What about those creeps?" Superboy asks as they walk out of the ship.

"Somehow, I think their night is about to get even worse."

"This is the Gotham City police! Shut Down your engines and prepare for boarding!"

"You may be right." Kon nods as he watches eight police cars out on the port, sirens and lights. Batman turns his back to him as he answers his com.

"Exciting night?" Detective Gage asks walking towards him.

"Not the worst I've ever had." Kon says to her.

"You going home?"

"I don't need sleep."

"The scarecrow's hijacked a shipment of volatile chemicals across town." Batman says walking back to Superboy. "Care to join?"

"Hell yeah!"

"Noxious gasses and narcissistic madmen are your idea of a good time?" Detective Gage asks him, as Batman presses a button on his belt.

"For me it is." Superboy tells her.

The batmobile shows up.

"That's so awesome." Gage says with a smiling at the car.

"Just the note I wanted to end the night on." Superboy says hoping on the Batmobile

"I knew there was a reason I liked you." Gage says to them.

…Mount Justice

Roy sharps his arrows angry on the floor, Kon sits down petting Wolf, Wolf was on his back as Kon scratches his belly.

"She's evil, I should have known better."

"Yes you should have."

"I need to get laid."

"Yes you do."

"I need your phone."

"Sure." Kon says pulling out his phone. "Why?" he asks after Roy already looking in it.

"I need your list of sex friends."

"What?" Kon says looking at him a little angry.

"I need to have sex, she betrayed me."

"Give me back my phone."

"No." Roy says quickly looking at the phone numbers.

"Give it to me."

"NO!"

"ROY!" Kon yells at him trying to get his phone back.

"No." Roy says his hand on the phone.

"Give it to me." Kon says angry as he pulls.

"NO!"

"It's mine."

"Hey." Batgirl says they both turn to look at her, they hadn't heard her, Kon quickly takes back his phone, Roy glares at him. "Does anyone ever think you two were a couple?"

"No because we screw girls like whores on whisky." Kon tells her.

"And then we either marry them or drown ourselves." Roy says to her.

"Huh?" Batgirl says looking at them both.

"Wanna grab a drink later?" Roy asks her.

"She's Dick's, you can't have sex with your best friend's girlfriend." Kon says to him.

"Fuck, that's true." Roy says.

"Dick and I are not together!" Batgirl yells at them, they both look at her uninterested and go back to what they were doing, she sighs and walks off annoyed.

…Restaurant

Zatanna and Conner eat their food.

Zatanna looks at Conner as he eats. "This is exactly the same situation as the last time we were sitting here." She says to him, he looks at her. "Except, you know, you're quieter."

"No, that was about Tana, this is about guys."

"You want to have sex with guys!" she yells out, a man at the bar turns to look at them.

Conner smiles at him. "What was that about quieter?" he asks her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure that you're being guided by your brain, that's all." She says to him concerned. "Need can be confused with love. Fantasy can convince us that what we are feeling is love."

"So, you're saying that this is all rebound?"

Zatanna takes a sip of her drink. "Yeah." She says.

"No. You don't understand love, Z."

"I'm not as innocent as you might think."

"You have this bourgeois notion-"

Zatanna laughs. "Bourgeois?" she asks him.

Conner continues. "that in order for love to be real it has to be permanent. Nothing is permanent. That's just a fact. We move in and out of loving other people, but that doesn't make the love any less real."

"Mm-hmm, I think you're saying this because you've never met the love of your life."

"I have, actually, many times."

"Fine." She says slightly rolling her eyes. "I think that you always leave yourself an escape hatch in your relationships because you're afraid of commitment."

"Nice try, but no. I commit to every person I love."

"You love Wendy, then you love Mike, Wendy leaves you because you weren't honest, you drove away Mike because you didn't want him to give up his future. They both turn to look at Dick, then turn to look at each other, they turn back to him. "No." they say to him.

Kon and Roy dance with two beautiful girls, one of the girls puts her hands on his chest as they dance close. One of the girls had curly black hair with green eyes and the other one had straight blonde hair with brown eyes. The black hair girl danced with Roy and the blonde one danced with Kon. At some point the girls took off their shirts tossing them away, Roy and Kon started dancing together and the girls started making out with each other, Roy and Kon looked at each other with a smile.

"Roy." Kon shakes him as he sleeps on the king bed with the two girls. "Roy." He shakes him a little harder.

"What?" Roy says annoyed.

"They're calling us."

"Oh god, I have a headache." Roy says not wanting to wake up.

"Ok, I'll tell them."

"No, I'm up." Roy says sitting up cracking his neck, he rolls out of bed then looks down at himself-naked.

"Clothes." Kon says giving him his clothes.

While Roy puts his boxers briefs, jeans, shirt and shoes on, Kon makes sure that the two girls are covered up with the blanket and teleports out. Roy goes over to the bathroom and splashes some water on his face and sighs.

"Red." Kon says with a to go cup coffee.

"I love you." Roy says grabbing it taking a gulp. "Ah hot."

"Coffee's hot? Sorry."

"It's good."

"Ready to go?" Kon asks him.

"What the hell took you guys so long?" Nightwing snaps at them.

"It was our day off, back off." Kon tells him.

"Amazing." Roy says as he drinks.

"What a pain in the ass Kon is?" Nightwing says looking very angry.

"Yeah so early in the morning."

Kon smirks. "Is there a reason why we are here?"

"We've been hearing some rumor about Professor Ivo making an army of Amazo bots."

"A rumor?" Kon asks.

"I hate you." Roy says giving Kon his coffee and walks off.

"This is a video of that!" Nightwing yells.

"Don't yell at me."

"You're being a jackass."

"Me?"

"Yeah you!"

"Stop it." Kon says to them.

"You come in here hungover and I'm the jackass?" Nightwing asks pissed.

"He didn't mean that." Kon says to him.

"It's my day off! You're lucky I came in at all!"

"Lucky? Oh yeah so lucky that the guy with the bow and attitude showed up, don't know what I would have done without you."

"Enough!" Kon yells at them, they both look at him. "Roy go to bed. Nightwing show me the video and call the Justice League."

"Fine." Roy and Nightwing both say and Roy walks off.

"You're getting good at being a diplomat." Robin says.

"Nightwing!"

"What?!"

"Sorry I doubted you!"

"It's ok!" Nightwing yells back, they both stand next to each other and look up at the sky dozens of more Amazo robots showing up. "I hate it when I'm right." He sighs.

"At least Kon's having fun."

Superboy rips off an arm of an amazo then stop its head. "This is so much fun!"

"He's not exactly a hard guy to figure out."

"Aw man." Nightwing realizes something.

"What's wrong?"

"Give me the keys to your bike."

Red arrow hands them over. "Good luck." He says to him as Nightwing runs away he pulls out an arrow and aims then fires.

"Pace yourself Kon, there are plenty more." Superman says to his brother as he takes a blast from an Amazo heat vision.

Superboy kicks him in the back.

"Access Captain Atom."

Superboy grabs its head and pulls it off, Batman yells out. "Heads up!" he yells out as he uses the head like a ball taking off Amazo Black Canary head off. Superboy laughs. "I made me laugh."

"Superboy!" Batman yells out.

Superboy blocks the Amazo Flash fist then shoves his hand inside his chest then rips him apart, he quickly moves out of the way of a batarang.

"Hey!" Superboy yells at him. "Oh right, this is getting confusing."

"Getting?" Red arrow says shooting an arrow at Amazo Batman.

"Where's Nightwing?"

"He had to go."

Superboy puts his hand in a fist looking at it his TTk making it shine bright blue it pulls out a punch sending it out to multiple amazos fight the league disassembling them.

"Priority Alpha."

"Engage Superboy."

The Amazo bots all say at the same time.

"Uh-oh." Superboy says taking a step back.

Red Arrow pats his shoulder. "I think you pissed them off."

"Access Green Lantern."

"Access Flash."

An amazo Green Lantern flies up using his ring to drop down a green ray Superboy leaps away and avoids the green blast as it hits the ground below. He continues to backflipping as the Superman amazo uses his heat vision laser in on him. Superboy stop flipping then uses his TTk to pick up a pillar of stone underneath him to launch himself into the air. He does two spinning kicks sending out his TTk blue blast and a swipe of his fist at them, then lands on the ground putting his fists up.

"Superboy get out of here!" Batman yells at him.

"No, I'm not running away." Superboy says as his fist shine blue with his TTk power.

"Kon!" Superman yells at him angry.

"Find Ivo!" Superboy yells out as he gets punched in the jaw by Amazo Flash.

"Arrow let's go!" Batman yells out.

Green arrow and Red arrow both turn as Batman runs and then launches his grapple gun out lifting off, they both look at each other.

"Did he mean me or you?" Green arrow asks.

"No idea." Red arrow shrugs.

"Let's go!" Green Arrow says as he runs off, Red arrow chases after him.

Superboy stands up holding his jaw, Superman lands in front of him, blocking him form the amazo bots view. Wonder woman lands besides him, swinging her sword. All of the Justice League members show up, marking a line between Superboy and the amazo bots.

"You're a pain in the ass kid." Green Lantern says to Superboy.

"Just like you." Superboy says with a smirk.

The Amazo bots start to attack, the Justice League collies with them.

Amazo Captain Atom attacks Superboy with a blast from his hands Captain Atom pulls him off as Superboy dodges to the side and he runs towards two Amazos Wonder woman and Black Canary. Superboy does a cartwheel and a flip to avoid an Amazo Canary scream. He lands between them and dodges a punch thrown by Amazo Canary as he grabs the metal lasso on Amazo Wonder woman's belt. Superboy uses a sidekick to knock back Amazo Canary as it tries to tackle him. Wonder woman punches twice at Superboy, but meatal lasso out of the way, spinning his body around and wrapping the lasso around its arm. Superboy uses the lasso to pull him off balance, then uses his momentum to swing it around towards the Canary getting back up, he throws him into each other crushing their heads together.

"Ok this is getting annoying." Superboy sighs.

"Satellite shows no sign of Ivo." Batman says looking at his wrist computer.

"Great, we just left the battle for nothing." Green arrow says crunching down with Batman.

Red arrow stands up as he hears a scream. "We should go back."

"Get down before they see us."

"They don't care, all they care about is killing Kon."

"You two have been spending too much time together."

"Since when do you care?"

"I care about you, that kid is nothing but trouble."

"He's my friend, unlike you I actually have some."

"I found him." Batman tells them and runs off not waiting for them, they run after him.

Superboy fueled by rage spins around and sends a blast of his TTk power blast a group of Amazo's gathering around to fight him.

"Damn, my aim sucks." Superboy says to himself as he only knocks out half of the group.

"Access Red Tornado." It spins rocks at him.

Superboy deflects one to the side and barely dodges the point of the other one knocking him aside. Canary runs up from behind him and sends a canary scream at Amazo Red Tornado. Amazo flies up dodging the scream and sends a blast of air into Canary, knocking her back. It lands and sends another air blast at Superboy, who does a backflip over it as it courses underneath him. When Superboy lands, he releases a powerful blast of his TTk power with both fist out in front of him at the Amazo Tornado gets crushed by the attack.

"Finally."

Superboy turns around to check on Black Canary to be greeted by an Amazo Superman uses heat vision and burns his eyes, Superboy screams as he covers his eyes in pain. Superboy stumbles backwards with his eyes closed and blindly punches the air with his TTk blue blasts, one of which hits the real Superman and Canary. A blast of Amazo Captain Atom hits him and he falls to the ground, in pain. Amazo Wonder woman uses a metal lasso tying Superboy's feet, another Amazo Wonder woman ties his wrist, Superboy teleports out. Superboy puts a hand on a wall rubbing his eyes in pain.

"Access Flash."

Superboy gets hit hundreds of times then falls down.

"Superboy get up!" Superman yells out.

Amazo Captain Marvel grabs his head dragging him all down the road, the real Captain Marvel grabs him punching him away. Superboy lies down on the ground with Amazo bots surrounding him, an Amazo Wonder woman and Amazo Hawkman take him by the arms and force him to sit on his knees. Superboy groans as he looks up.

"Access Superman."

Amazo Superman puts his hands on Superboy twisting his head to the side.

"Priory Alpha has been terminated."

"NO!" Superman screams.

Superboy's body starts shining red as specks disappearing.

"Error."

"Error."

"Error."

"Hey!" Superboy standing confidently behind them, his hands on his hips. "Ya missed." He says with a smile.

"Priory Alpha."

"Destroy Superboy."

"Terminate."

All of the Amazo bots fly off, run off, grow wings going straight for Superboy ignoring the Justice League. Superboy flies off dodging some heat vison, energy blast's. Superboy stops in midair seeing more Amazo's coming for him in all directions. He looks around as they come closer to him, he quickly teleports out.

"Superboy are you ok?" Superman asks worried. Superboy turns to look at him, his eyes red, Superman takes a step back.

Superboy circles his arms, the Amazo's in what looked like a blue bubble try to break free but not succeeding his TTk holding them unable to break through. Superboy takes a breath as he puts his hands apart then starts bring them together slowly as the bubble starts getting smaller the Amazo bots getting crushed as the bubble of TTk gets smaller and smaller. The Justice League looks at him eyes wide, mouth open.

Superboy puts his hands together crushing them all, he puts his hand down as the circle of metal Amazo falls in the middle of the city, Superboy sighs putting his hand on his knees tired, then stands straight.

The League stands still looking shocked not moving an inch, Zatanna appears in a purple smoke then walks over to Superboy

"You're awesome, you know that?" Zatanna says giving him a kiss on his cheek.

Superboy smiles putting his arm around her waist. "I try my best." He says to her.

…S.T.A.R. Labs

"We trust them right?"

"Yes we do." Canary answer, he looks at her. "Sometimes." She corrects herself. "Batman has them under surveillance." She whispers.

"Good." Kon says.

"So you heard about me and Tana?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry."

"Oh, no, really, it's absolutely fine."

"Really?"

"I now have two incredible girls who want to make me feel better." Kon says with a smile. "They said that they'd always be there for me when I need comforting."

"Still, I'm sorry." Canary says not sure what to day.

"No, it's totally fine."

"Then why are you telling me?"

"Batman approves of the way that I conduct my love life."

"Ooh." Canary says making a face.

"Yeah." Kon nods. "What's wrong with living in the moment?" he asks her.

"Clean bill of health." Conner tells his brother as he gives him a piece of paper.

"Good." Clark says again. "Why did it take it two weeks?"

"It's S.T.A.R. Labs Kal, they have more important things to do, like cure cancer."

"Right." Clark says looking at the file, Conner starts shaking his leg, Clark looks up at him. "What's wrong?"

"Two weeks Kal, two weeks!"

"Right, how's it going?" he asks him.

"Horrible."

"Clark I got you a subway sandwich." Lois says as she walks in.

"Whoa, have you been working out?" Conner asks her looking at her up and down.

"Excuse me?" Lois asks him.

"You look so solid and compact."

"Well for your information I run 5 miles each day in the morning."

"When she's not hungover." Clark adds.

"Hey, at least someone pays attention." Lois says back to him.

"Trouble in paradise?" Conner asks them.

"Clark doesn't want to ruin our friendship."

"I'm realizing that celibacy is a lot like fasting." Kon says calmly.

"So you've become sexually anorexic?" Zatanna asks him, Roy chuckles a little as he eats his soup.

"At first you're out of sorts and agitated and then you sort of push through to a kind of clarity." Kon says siting up straight.

"Have you reached clarity?" she asks him.

"No. I'm still at the agitated and horny stage." Kon tells her as he takes a bite out of his food, the four girls behind him on the table turn to look at him. "This satan chicken is good though."

"Seitan, Kon." Zatanna corrects him ignoring the girls.

"Dinah thinks it will do me good to put sex on the back burner in order to related to people in other ways."

"I need you to do something for me and you can't ask me about it later."

"Sounds ominous, I'm in."

"I need some information on these servers think you can get in without being detected."

"Yeah, the problem is getting out without being detected, especially if Robin comes."

"Kon, you won't have back up."

"I won't?"

"Can you do it?"

"My hacking skills are a little weak, what kind of program is it?"

"The facility is wired with electronic countermeasures and the computer's secured via military-grade encryption. So any decryption device or radio contact would be detected so the only way the terminal can be accessed is by someone who knows how to crack polymorphic algorithms.

"Let me guess, Batgirl wasn't interested in doing advanced calculus in her head."

"I didn't ask her, I'm asking you."

"Dick-"

"You can't ask me about it."

Kon looks at him. "Ok."

…Guvee's National Building

Superboy looks down at the people gets out of the building going home for the day, he starts walking to the building moving as people weren't able to see him. He stops at the door and waits for it to be open, waits for the person to go out and slips inside unnoticed. He continues walking having memorized the building plans Nightwing had given him.

He stops on a door and looks at the keypad, he turns to look at the camera, he puts his hand on the door and manipulates the camera sensors and teleports on the other side of the door and continues walking. A guard starts walking towards him, he walks past him the guard turns around looking for something that he thought had walked past him but saw no one and continued walking past the door Superboy had just teleported from.

Superboy puts his hand on the wall and uses his TTk again to manipulate the camera sensors again he gets a funny feeling but shakes it off and teleports inside. He looks at all of the computer technology and goes to sit down in the main chair he types in the code to get the information Nightwing wanted. He stops for a second doing the math in his head and types again. He puts the flashdrive in the computer and downloads the information.

He puts it in his jean pocket and walks out of the room teleporting out into the hallway and putting his hand on the wall getting the funny feeling again, he quickly leaves the building but instead of being careful he teleports out puts the flashdrive behind a brick and teleports back inside the building where the lead room was located.

Superboy takes a look around to see the cameras and realizes that there aren't any so he opens the room still in his invisible form and sees scientists are running tests on a massive sphere, he takes a step forward and looks at it, it beeps a little then gets shocked by the machine wrapped in it, sensing the sphere's pain Superboy screams out holding his body losing his invisibly cloak.

"oh-uh." Superboy whispers.

"Lockdown initiated."

Alarms start to go off and a gas is release in the lead room, Superboy coughs as he tries to reach the door and break out, he reaches it but the gas puts him to sleep and falls down on his face.

…

Superboy screams out as he gets some electroshock running all through his body.

"Increase the voltage."

"He hasn't recovered yet."

"I know." The doctor says. "Increase the voltage."

"Yes doctor."

He increases the voltage in the device and Superboy screams louder. The sphere reacts and spins wildly until it breaks free and then releases Superboy. Superboy falls down and the sphere takes down the two doctors and the rest of the scientist plus the guards.

Superboy gets up on his knees and shakes his head a little. The sphere beeps at him.

Superboy smiles weakly. "Thanks." He says and gets up. "Now let's get out of here."

Superboy runs off as guards start to show up, he stops and turns back around and sees more guards. Sphere starts making engine noises and transforms into an advanced motorcycle. Superboy mouth opens as they start shooting Superboy hops on and Sphere shoots down the ceiling and they fly off.

"WHOA!" Superboy yells out as he sticks his head out flying. "This is so cool!"

…Mount Justice

"You send him out on his own! Are you insane!?" Superman yells at Nightwing.

"Apparently." Nightwing says and turns to Superboy and looks at him. "It was not a hard mission Kon, get in, get the information and get out."

"What is that?" Batman points to the ball.

"Sphere, I think she's from Apokolips." Superboy says as he looks at the metallic ball, it beeps rapidly. "Oh sorry, New Genesis, those are the good gods."

They all look at him.

"How could you send him out on his own!?" Superman yells at Nightwing.

Nightwing flinches and turns back to Superman. "I thought he could handle it, I was wrong."

"What information were you trying to acquire?" Batman asks him.

"It doesn't matter, we won't be able to get anywhere near it now."

"You do not get to put Kon's life in danger like that!"

"Kon's life is already in danger because of who he is!"

"Stop yelling, your scaring Sphere!" Kon yells out.

"You named it?" Nightwing asks.

"It took longer than expected to escape, we've boned, I'm keeping her." Kon says putting his hand on Sphere.

"I'm done." Nightwing says walking away.

"Are you really naming her Sphere?" Cassie asks.

"How do you know it's a she?" Robin asks honestly.

"While we were both being tortured, we got psychically linked."

"You can do that?" Cassie asks him.

"Yeah, I did it with some aliens who tried to conquer the world but ended up being slaves themselves, I help liberate them and they went home."

"Ok, you know that list of your powers?" Robin asks, Kon nods. "It's super freaking long."

Kon smiles. "Yeah you guys don't even know about my invisibility or my force fields."

"wow."

Sphere beeps, Kon smiles and pats her.

Later…Dick's apartment

"That bad huh?" Barbara says siting on the couch, Dick's head on her lap.

"Superman yelled at me." Dick says to her.

Babs chuckles. "Yeah, you know you've done something bad when Superman yells at you."

"That's not funny."

"We all know how much he loves Kon, you should have come to me." Babs says to him as she plays with his hair. "What information where you trying to get?"

The doorbell rings.

"Save by the bell." Dick says and stands up getting the 20 dollars from the coffee table. "Chinese food." He says going to the door.

"Kon." Dick sighs. "If this is about earlier-"

Kon pulls out the flashdrive. "I was able to get the info before I got spotted, I don't think they realized I was there for it and I was able to clear all trace of me they can't back track it to me. You and me are the only ones that know I have it."

"No, it's no problem." Conner says to her.

"So, what's the deal with you and Ches?" Zatanna asks him.

"Jade?"

"Yeah."

"What do you mean?"

"Are you guys together or not?"

"Right now? Not."

"How long has she been missing?"

"How long have you been on your celibacy?"

"Almost 3 months." Conner says a bit strain.

"Yeah that's about right." Roy says calmly.

"You're shaking." Zatanna says to Conner.

"I know." Conner says shaking. "I'm going back to Cow." He says getting back to his knees.

"It's actually kind of undefined with Jade." Roy continues.

"I get it." Zatanna says as Conner goes back with his position.

"What?" Roy asks.

"You don't want to be the waiting around guy."

"Exactly."

"Good, now Downward-Facing Dog with your left leg extended in the air." The instructor tells them.

"This is sadistic." Conner struggles as he puts his leg up in the air.

"Pretend like you're playing Twister." Zatanna tells him.

"Are you breathing?" Roy asks him, Conner shakes his head. "Are you seeing the colors?" he asks.

"Oh, boy." Conner says.

"Kon?" Roy says as he falls down.

"Kon!" Zatanna yells out as he falls down on top of Roy, she laughs getting on her knees, Roy and Conner join her laughing then one of their phones start to ring.

"Aww man!" they yell out.

South Pacific…Malina Island

"Remember this is primarily a recon mission." Batman says in the bioship with the rest of the batfamily. "We want to discover all we can about the Krolotean's invasion strategy before we shut them down and deliver them to the Green Lantern Corps."

"Approaching drop zone beta." Nightwing says, Aquaman and Lagoon boy drop down into the ocean. "Drop zone gamma."

"All sectors report status."

"Sector Three, report status. Sector Three, report." Kaldur gets off his chair with his helmet and takes a look around the cave. "Intruders on the level and in the water." He says in the com

"There!" a guard says as he starts shooting at Robin.

Batman falls down on one of them and kicks the other one, he sends out a batarang knocking one out, Nightwing and Batgirl come out of hiding as they knock two out. Both Aquaman and Lagoon boy come out of the water knocking two guards down.

"The Meta-Earthlings found us!"

"Use the Mechs! Attack!"

The Mechs start to attack, Lagoon boy inflates himself and jumps on one of them destroying it. batman attacks, punches and kicks then takes cover behind a rock as they shoot at him.

"Batgirl, maneuver seven." Nightwing yells out as he

"Manta to Partner." Kaldur says over the com. "The base has been infiltrated, abort operation."

"Partner to Manta. The device has already primed you have five minutes, get your men out. The bomb will take care of the rest."

"Perfect." Kaldur says. "Manta to all troopers, endgame enabled strategic retreat to Manta flier. You have four minutes."

"Nightwing to delta squad, enemy is attempting escape. Request backup."

Lagoon boy charges towards a Mech and picks it up then slams it back. Superman uses his head vision to make a hole in the cave, then flies in Wonder woman follows then Superboy and Wonder girl.

"Nice aim." Aquaman says to Superman.

"X-ray vision, I cheat."

Superboy lands near Superman then flies over to a mech on the wall of the cave destroying it with a punch, then jumps over to another on punching it breaking it, then jumps on another one smashing it as he lands on it then rolls on the floor and punches another one knocking it back.

"Quadruple! Nice." Superman says as he flies behind him, Superboy smiles.

Wonder woman uses her lasso to tie up a Mech as she lands on the floor he pulls it up then down destroying it.

Wondergirl lands near her. "That was amazing! You just-You just Whoosh and then-and then-and then Bang!"

"Little less fan girl, a little more Wonder Girl." She tells her as she deflects shoots by the Mechs.

"Right, sorry." Wonder girl says sheeply as she flies up putting her lasso on a Mech pulling on it ripping off a piece then pushes that piece back to another Mech.

Wonder woman smiles.

"Three minutes to departure." Kaldur says in the com, he turns looking at Lagoon boy charging towards him.

Aquaman punches his helmet off, Kaldur stands up without his helmet. "I had not believed Nightwing until this moment." Aquaman says looking at his former protégé after three years.

"You did not want to believe!"

Superboy lands in front of Lagoon boy and Aquaman. "How could you betray us!?" he yells out angry his fists clenched.

"You dare question me? After all of you let Tula die!" Kaldur yells as he pulls out two water swords.

Nightwing jumps from a railing in front of Superboy. "Kaldur that was a mission, Aquagirl knew the risks. No one wanted-"

"Neptune's beard! Don't coddle this traitor! He has joined forces with our King's greatest enemy." Lagoon boy yells.

"Do you mean the King who hid from me the true identity of my father?"

"That was my error in judgment Kaldur'ahm, no one else need suffer for it."

"All will suffer if Black Manta demands it, blood is thicker than sea water." Kaldur says calmly as a weapon is attached to his suit he shoots a missile at them although Superman shields them from the blast, Kaldur escapes in the black smoke.

"Kaldur." Nightwing comes out of hiding.

"Just you and me, old friend?" Kaldur says getting ready to fight.

"No!" Superboy yells out as he slides down a hole in the wall. "It's a regular reunion special."

"Fine." Kaldur says dropping his water swords. "You can take me down, or you can save everyone from this bomb. I am told the yield is quite impressive." Superboy charges towards him with a punch, Kaldur moves out of the way grabs him by the throat pushing him down then electrocutes him, Superboy screams out in pain. "You have two minutes." He tells Nightwing calmly.

"They're getting away!" Wondergirl yells out as she runs towards a ship.

"We'll stop them!" Lagoon boy yells as he follows her.

"Negative." Nightwing quickly tells them on the com. "We have a bomb down here, alien tech. I cannot disarm it."

"I'll get it out." Superboy says taking a step forward.

"No! Might have pressure or motion sensors." Nightwing stops him. "All squads! Evacuate to bio-ship! Now!"

"You heard Nightwing! Move!" Batman yells out to everyone.

Batgirl, Robin run off, Wonder girl grabs Lagoon boy flies off from the hole Superman made, as Wonder woman grabs Aquaman.

"Listen! Listen to me!" Superman says to the Kroloteans.

They don't listen.

"Neptune's beard!" Lagoon boy says as soon as he enters the bioship seeing two Kroloteans.

"Hello, Megan!" she says slapping her head. "Knew we forgot something." She says as she and her uncle morph back to their original selfs.

Martian Manhunter gives Batman a disk.

"Well done alpha squad." Batman tells him.

"Find a seat, it's time to go." Miss Martian says making more seats available in the bioship.

"Wait, where's Superman?"

"Listen, I'm not trying to hurt you, a bomb is set to explode beneath this base. There are too many of you to carry individually but if you board your ship, I'll fly you all to safety."

"Lies!" the captain yells out as they start to shoot at Superman, he puts his arms to protect himself.

"Please!" Superman yells out as he continues getting shot at.

The bomb explodes.

"Come on old girl!"

Aquaman swims down as he grabs Superman bringing him to the bioship, Superboy helps him bring him up putting his arm around Superman as he puts him down in front of Wonder woman.

She puts his head on her lap. "He's breathing. Pulse is strong." She says with a small smile. "He'll be alright."

"He didn't save the Kroloteans, he won't be alright with that." Superboy says sadly.

"What just happened?" Wonder girl asks completely confused.

"The Kroloteans were clearly trying to build a new ship." Miss Martian says to her also confused.

"They had to, Angelfish. It was their only way to leave Earth without their zeta platforms or their original ship." Lagoon boy says.

"Uh but was Aqualad helping them escape? Or luring them into a trap?" Wondergirl asks even more confused.

"The bomb was of alien origin, yet the Kroloteans clearly knew nothing about it." Nightwing says also confused. "So where did it come from?" he asked Batman.

"I have the feeling it may be up to you and your team to find out." Batman says to everyone in the bioship.

…outside Mount Justice

"I wish I could go with." Wonder girl pouts as she crosses her arms.

"I doubt your mother would approve." Wonder woman says to her. "And only the six of us who stand accused need take this odyssey. Though Hawkman insists on accompanying his spouse and Icon will act as our advocate for it seems he is familiar with intergalactic trial law."

"You sure this is necessary?"

"The Guardians of the Universe seem to think so. They sent Hal and Guy ahead to make sure the so-called 'high court' of Rimbor will know we come in peace and know we expect a fair trial."

"How long will you be gone?" Kon asks his older brother.

"However long it takes to clear our names, Kon but we will be back, little brother."

"I'll miss you." Megan says to her uncle as she hugs him.

"And I you M'gann." J'onn says hugging her. "Oh! Perhaps you could water the plants in my apartment while I'm gone."

"Be careful alright?" Nightwing says to him mentor.

"Was about to say the same to you three, I fear we leave the more dangerous task here on Earth." Batman says.

"We'll manage."

"Time to go." Green Lantern says to his friends as he makes a ship with his ring.

"May the gods be with you all." Wonder woman says to them.

The Team watches their mentors fly off in the green ship they stay until they no longer can see them, they look at each other and go back to the cave.
