"You know, I love these little undercover missions." Livy whispered in Damian's ear, then proceeded to twerk in front of him.
Damian was smiling, but it was far from a real smile. This was possibly one of the worst undercover missions he had. Livy, or Sandra, as he was supposed to call her, was on the dance floor of the bar, dancing in a pair of extremely short daisy dukes and a tight t-shirt that somehow managed to make her chest larger than usual. She had on a long red wig that bounced in curls and heavy eye shadow.
Damian didn't mind seeing Livy like this. However, he did mind everyone else seeing her. He wanted to punch every man that went behind her and started grinding against her. However, in this scenario, they were not a couple. They were two random teenagers at a bar having a good time.
Unfortunately, Livy looked like she was having more fun out of the two of them. She laughed loudly and shamelessly flirted with the other boys, which made Damian very pissed. Not to mention she didn't look bothered at all by the uncomfortable clothing or the wig.
Damian's scalp was dying from suffocating heat and itched.
"C'mon Jack, smile like you mean it." Livy laughed as she smiled and grinded against him.
"Sandra, how about we sit this song out and get a drink. I'll pay." Damian stated, and Livy grinned.
"Oh, not just a pretty face but a wallet too. I think I'll keep you." She laughed. Damian had to give Livy credit, she was a good actor. He knew enough about Livy that just about everything Sandra said was the opposite from how Livy usually flirted and spoke.
Damian bought them two drinks, while observing the atmosphere of the place.
They were in a bar in Metropolis, which was very different from Gotham. It was… cleaner. There were still pimps and tools and pedophiles, but they all seemed less tainted. Damian supposed that Gotham air just didn't agree with scum while Metropolis air did.
While drinking, Livy casual looked over her left shoulder. She and Damian had gone over wordless communication and Damian knew that if Livy looked left, he was to do the opposite.
Looking to his right, Damian laid eyes onto their man. The entire reason why the two of them were in Metropolis.
Lloyd Janifer. He was dealing a new drug called Explosion which was highly dangerous and addictive, and he was also wanted for murder. Once he caught wind that the Gotham PD were on his tail, he skipped town and headed to Metropolis.
"Ever tried ecstasy?" Livy inquired, and Damian looked over at her.
"What?"
"Ecstasy. Great stuff. Ever try it?" Livy inquired. Damian played along.
"Yeah. Nice stuff. I could always go for something stronger though."
"Ditto. Hard to find suppliers though. Damn cops always seem to catch 'em in my neighborhood." Livy said in a sour voice.
"I couldn't help but overhear. You two interested in something strong?" Lloyd inquired, coming up from behind Damian. He took the bait.
"Depends. What d'you have?" Livy questioned. "I'm not interested in Adderall or anything else I can get out of my mom's cabinet."
"Trust me, this stuff's good. Worth it. and it's all yours for fifty dollars."
"Fifty dollars… I might be able to swipe that much from my stepdad." Livy murmered with a smirk on her face.
"Meet me at this location with the money in three days. There I'll give you the goods." Lloyd grinned.
"Thanks man. This stuff better be worth the money." Livy warned, and he nodded.
"Worth every penny, honey." With that, the man turned and disappeared into the crowd.
"Hmm looks like I'm getting myself something good." Livy smirked, then stood. "See ya around pretty face and prettier wallet. I'm heading home." Livy made her way across the dance floor and out the door.
Damian casually finished his drink, then headed out the door as well. Several blocks away was a dark blue van.
Damian opened the back and jumped in, immediately tearing his wig off. Livy was sitting on her sleeping bag, reading a book.
She was still wearing the daisy dukes, but she had a sweatshirt over her tight shirt. The makeup she had on early was washed away and her wig was gone as well. This was the Livy Damian liked. The Livy with braided blond hair and a natural look.
"So, three days." Damian stated, and Livy jumped, then looked up from her book.
"I didn't hear you come in." she chuckled lightly a bit, eyes darting around the van. Damian knew that the van made her feel uneasy. It was a close space with no windows.
"Get changed into some different pants, Livy. We're staying here three days longer than we thought." He stated as he took off his shirt and put on a clean one, along with changing into a fresh pair of jeans.
"Why get changed?" Livy inquired, sliding off the daisy dukes and putting on some sweat pants.
"Because we're not spending the several nights sleeping in a van. A van I know you're uncomfortable in." Livy went to open her mouth and protest, but Damian quickly kissed her, silencing her.
"Don't lie to me, Livy." Damian stated once he parted from the girl. "You are a bit uncomfortable in this van, but you forget that I am the son of a billionaire. Getting a hotel room is child's play."
Livy grinned a bit, then grabbed her bag of toiletries and clothes along with her book.
"Thanks, Damian."
"It is not a problem." Damian grinned as he grabbed his own bag.
The two made their way out of the van and Livy followed Damian to a hotel that looked fairly expensive.
"Here? This looks really upscale." Livy said, staring at the large building in shock.
"I've stayed at nicer." Damian shrugged. They walked into the building, and Livy suddenly wished she wore a better looking outfit. She felt like nothing short of a ball gown would do in a place like this.
She was used to abandoned buildings and cheap motels, not fancy hotels.
"We need a room for three days." Damian stated to the man at the desk. The man gave the two a once over, then stated,
"I'm sorry. No rooms are currently available except for the suites." The man stated.
"Fine. We'll have a suit." Damian stated, giving the man his card. The man looked at the boy with surprise, but swiped the car and then asked for his signature.
Damian wrote down his name, and the man looked at it with surprise.
"Damian Wayne? The son of Bruce-"
"I'm on vacation, sir. I'd prefer if you didn't go saying my name all over the place. If you would be so kind as to not tip off the tabloids to my presence here, I'll leave you a very generous tip." Damian smirked.
"It will not be a problem, sir." The man stated quickly. He handed Damian a key to the room.
"Your room is A32."
"Thank you." With that Damian turned, and a bellhop was there to take their bags.
"It's okay, I can carry…" Livy started to say, but Damian already laid his bag onto the cart and then looked at Livy expectantly.
She sighed, then placed her bag onto the cart and Damian gave the man a large tip.
As the man left, Livy looked over at Damian with a frown.
"Aren't we going to the room?" she inquired and Damian chuckled.
"I figured that we could have a light dinner here first." Damian informed.
"They have food here that isn't a continental breakfast?" Livy questioned, and Damian chuckled.
"Yes, Livy." Damian figured that if he was going to be with Livy in metropolis for several days, he might as well enjoy it with her.
~*~*~*~*~Later~*~*~*~*~
When Livy walked into the room, she was surprised by several things. First there were chocolates on the bed. Freaking chocolates on the bed. That fact alone shocked Livy. However, she was also surprised by the spacing of the room. It was huge. Bigger than the van and bigger than most places she stayed at when her as Jason were on the move.
Lastly, she was surprised that there was only one bed.
She and Damian had done plenty intimate things together, but sleeping in the same bed together was new.
"You okay?" Damian questioned, looking at Livy with concern. "Is it too small for you?"
"No. It's fine. It's great just… it's just huge." Livy whispered. She felt bad every time Damian would ask if a room was too small for her to be in.
She was getting better at being less anxious in small spaces, but it was a slow process. However, she hated causing any trouble for Damian and often would try not to make a big deal if a space was small. However after some time, Damian could tell if she was uncomfortable in a small space and complain to her about how she should just tell him in the first place.
And so, he had gotten into a habit of asking Livy if a room was too small the moment they entered instead of trying to figure it out after several hours.
"Whatever you say, Livy. Now, we should get some sleep." Damian stated as he took off his shirt and Livy all about fainted.
It wasn't like Livy had never seen Damian shirtless before, however, in the moments he was shirtless, it was usually because he was injured and being patched up or they were sparring. Either way, Livy's eyes were always either on Damian's eyes or an injury in those situations and rarely on his perfect toned and dark skin and his lovely abs.
She tried not to gawk at her boyfriend when he continued to strip down to a comfortable pair of boxers, leaving very little to the imagination.
Before she could be caught staring, Livy slid into the bed and felt like she was being suffocated in softness. The lights switched off and she felt the bed dip and a warm body up against hers.
Damian wrapped an arm around Livy and petted her head.
"Sleep well, habibti." He whispered.
Livy felt her eyes getting heavy as she leaned against Damian. No matter where she was, be it a van or a lavish hotel room, when Damian held her she felt like the most loved and comfortable girl in the world.
"Good night, Damian." Livy yawned, and was quickly asleep.
Livy woke up first. She felt warm and comfortable. She noticed that her head was resting on Damian's chest and his arm was loosely draped over her back.
Her brown eyes looked over at the clock on the bedside table and read that it was 7:32. She remembered Damian mentioning something about setting an alarm for 8, so she was up about a half hour early.
Livy looked up at Damian's sleeping face and smiled a bit. It was calm and the crease in his forehead from glaring and scowling was gone.
She brought her hand up and slowly ran her fingers through his coal black hair. A grumble rumbled in his throat, and Livy felt his arm around her tighten slightly.
Livy stared at him, wondering if the action was a sign to stop or to keep going.
"Did you wake me only to tease me with one head pet and stop?" Damian questioned. His eyes were still closed, but his facial features were less relaxed and Livy knew he was awake.
"I didn't mean to wake you up." Livy whispered as she started running her hand through Damian's hair again.
"I'm a light sleeper." He informed, eyes still closed, but Livy felt his thumb drawling circles in her back, lightly massaging it.
He then slowly cracked an eye open to look at Livy.
"It's nice." He whispered.
"The scalp rub?" Livy inquired, but Damian shook his head while chuckling.
"The scalp rub is good, but it's nice to wake up and for you to be the first thing I see." He whispered and Livy felt a warm blush coloring her cheeks.
"Y-you're such a hopeless romantic." Livy stuttered, her eyes shifting away from Damian, praying that he didn't see her blush.
"I am only speaking the truth." Damian shrugged, then gently grabbed Livy's chin so she would look at him.
"Look at you." Damian chuckled. "A blushing schoolgirl after one comment. It doesn't take much, does it?" he teased.
"Shut up." Livy grumbled, pushing his hand away, but Damian knew that she wasn't angry with him. She just hated being so vulnerable and having her emotions easily read.
However, Damian loved teasing Livy in private, when nobody could see him act his age.
"Let's see how much it takes to get you to blush." Damian chuckled as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"You're so beautiful, Livy. The most beautiful girl I know." Livy kept looking away but her cheeks were a light pink color. Damian wrapped an arm around her torso and whispered in her ear,
"So beautiful, I just want to spend the whole morning ravishing you in this bed." That got her face very red and her eyes widened in shock.
"Dami-" Livy started but Damian was kissing her neck and she moaned. When he pulled away, Livy's face was crimson red and her eyes were so wide he thought that they might fall out of her head.
"It's enjoyable how it doesn't take much to get you to blush." He chuckled. "Anyway, we should-" Damian didn't get to finish. He forgot that Livy had a competitive side. If something vaguely seemed like a competition, she loved to one up him.
So, it wasn't much of a surprise when Damian found Livy straddling him and dominating him in a kiss.
Damian would never admit it out loud, but to him, that was extremely hot and he was blushing a bit.
"There." Livy giggled, pulling away. "I'm not the only one blushing." She sounded very pleased with herself, which made Damian chuckle a bit.
"If we keep this up, this might lead to something irresponsible." Damian stated with a small smile on his face. However, Livy frowned.
"Damian… we promised that we'd wait. With what we do…" Damian cut her off with a chaste kiss and a hug.
"I get it. Though, I would love to continue this, I understand why you don't want to." Damian sighed. "Now, if you excuse me I'll be in the bathroom. We should go out to breakfast soon."
With that, Damian swiftly made it to the bathroom, and Livy sighed, running her hands through her hair.
Calm down. she told herself. You're a teen. You're horny. It happens. But you have to think about the risks. You can't be like your mother. You can't.
Livy took in even breaths then sighed, looking over at her bag of clothes.
I should get changed before Damian finishes up in the bathroom. She thought, then threw on a t-shirt and a pair with jeans along with a pair of black boots. She then turned off the alarm before it had a chance to go off.
Damian strutted out of the bathroom soon after and flashed her a small smile.
"Let's head out for breakfast, habibti."
