Sorry it's been so long!

"Livy, please. It's just one dinner."

"A dinner that involves getting dressed up for means that it's super fancy, which means that I need to be Damian Wayne, trillionaire Bruce Wayne's cranky moody son's girlfriend. Not Livy, the girlfriend of a grumpy vigilante." Livy frowned but Damian shook his head and placed a hand onto Livy's shoulder.

"Livy, I want to treat you. The food is phenomenal at this restaurant and I want to give you a better dinner than the one where my mother interrupted." Damian stated. Livy grunted but stared into Damian's eyes. He was serious and he wanted to make up for the whole debacle with his mother. Livy couldn't be upset at Damian for wanting to do something nice for her.

However, she could be upset at how heels just never seemed to feel right on her feet.

"Damian, you do know that you don't have to be all elaborate to make me happy, right?" Livy questioned while Damian was driving them to the restaurant.

"I know, but I want to be able to take you to a place that's nicer than a Burger King." Damian stated, then slowed the car once they reached a stop light.

Damian turned to face Livy, his eyes looking straight into hers.

"You mean everything to me, and I want to show you by having you waited on at a nice restaurant." Damian said. His eyes bore into Livy's and she felt her heart warm at his statement. The light turned green, and Damian's eyes were on the road yet again.

"Besides, there's a Barnes and Nobles down the street from the restaurant. I'm sure they have that Alexander Hamilton Biography that you've been raving about."

Livy immediately buzzed with excitement at the mention of books after dinner.

"Food and Books. You know me too well." Livy smiled. "And also, who wouldn't want to read that biography? They made a rap musical out of it and it's awesome!"

Damian raised an eyebrow, but still kept his eyes on the road.

"They made a rap musical based on the biography of a founding father?"

"Yup. The ten dollar. Founding father without a father got a lot farther by working a lot harder-"

"Livy stop rapping about Alexander Hamilton."

"Fine… can I rap about Aaron Burr?" Damian let out a long sigh, but then nodded.

"If you must."

Damian tried to keep a straight face as he listened to Livy try to rap about dead men from the 1700's.

~*~*~*~At the Restaurant~*~*~*~

Livy was happy that the waiters weren't so stuck up like other nicer places Damian had taken her out to. She also liked how open the space was with green vines growing up the walls for a splash of green in the white room.

"This place is beautiful." Livy smiled which in turn made Damian grin.

"I thought that you'd like it. Their also known for having an excellent filet mignon."

"Steak." Livy sighed dreamily at the thought of it. "Damian, you really do know me well."

She ended up ordering the filet mignon and a salad while Damian ordered their lemon pepper chicken. While they waited for their food, the two talked back and forth about what books they had been reading and different animals they had seen at different places.

"This is nice." Livy hummed, getting lost a bit in Damian's eyes.

"Yes, this is." Damian cracked one of his small smiles and just then, their waiter had returned with their food.

"Thank you." Livy smiled at their waiter and then quickly started cutting into her food. She hummed in pleasure as she chewed the steak.

"This is perfect."

"I'm getting jealous. I'm starting to think you love that steak more than me." Damian smirked.

"Don't get too worried. My love for you comes first. The steak is second. Close, but still second." She grinned. Before Damian could say a witty retort, glass shattered as a man in a goofy spandex suit jumped into the room.

"Everyone quiver in fear. Condiment King is here!"

"Oh god." Livy sighed and just then Batman also came crashing through the window.

Damian ran his hand through his hair as they watched Batman swiftly take down the crazed man.

"I was hoping for this to be a quiet evening." He frowned and Livy shook her head.

"It's fine Damian. I'm starting to think that we can't have dinner together without someone breaking through the window." She smiled, grabbing his hand from across the table. Batman carried the Condiment King out, and though he didn't make any eye contact with them, Livy figured that he knew that she and Damian were there.

The waiter profusely apologized and Damian shook his head.

"It's not your fault that a crazed man with an idiotic theme crashed in here. Thank yo for the wonderful food and service."

Livy and Damian finished up what was on their plates, payed the check, left a tip, and then headed out for some fresh air.

"Livy, again, I am so sorry that this date was interrupted-" Livy stopped Damian from talking by standing on the tips of her toes and kissing him.

Damian's eyes widened and he stared at Livy.

"The dinner was lovely, Damian. Thank you for pampering me." She smiled. Damian leaned down and kissed Livy this time, and she wrapped her arms around him.

"The night's not over yet." Damian grinned. "I still have to take you to the Barnes and Nobles."

"And I can buy the biography about Alexander Hamilton?"

"Tt. Sure. Whatever makes you happy." Damian nodded as he grasped Livy's hand. They two walked side by side with Livy humming songs from Hamilton the musical and Damian reveling in her voice and warmth in his hand.

Livy started to jump from one foot to the other in excitement when she could see the Barnes and Noble in view.

"Livy… never change." Damian said and Livy looked over at him. She hadn't expected him to say something like that, but it warmed her heart.

"I won't change as long as you don't either." She said, moving closer to him so that they walked side by side with his arm around her and her arm around him.

Damian looked down at the girl's bright smiling face.

"Then it's a deal."
