Chapter 23: Here with you (two)

So, I have to wait a few more week before I find out if it's a boy or a girl. Which is making Antonio even jumpier than ever.

Feliciano called often, making sure I was staying calm and not stressing my self back to the point of fainting. He seemed to be doing much better off about now. Which was a good thing, because I'm sure he had the potato bastard worried sick.

When ever Antonio was worried, I could tell. His whole attitude changes. What would usually be his cuddly time, he would spend trying to make sure I didn't move from where I was sitting to do anything.

Like right now. We were both on the couch and he had both arms around me, holding me in place. His head was propped on top of mine, and I could almost feel him falling asleep like this.

I know. People expect me to be rude, mean, and just completely jerk-ish whenever Antonio does something sweet. Sometimes I am, but even I know when to stop being mean and just go with whatever he wants to do. We both have our moods where if the other one doesn't coƶperate it can get pretty ugly pretty fast.

Then there are moments when I can't help but be sweet to him. Because... I love him and that's what you do when you love someone... Right?

Psh, why am I asking you? Italy is one of, if not the most, romantic countries int he world. I know alot of stuff about love. I just... don't do very well with showing it, or expressing it really. None the less, whenever it was a quiet day, besides the sound of a soft rain shower outside, and the television playing some random crime scene show it was a good day for us.

I leaned my head back to just let the quiet take me away into a siesta, when Antonio pulled me a teensy but closer as if he was saying "Go on to sleep. I'll protect you no matter what." Which was pretty reassuring right now. I was tired. It's not that I didn't sleep, I was just tired all the time lately.

I could hear the rain moving farther and farther away, the cop sirens were growing softer and all I could hear was my own thoughts. I was seriously five seconds from sleeping when I felt something very odd.

Sitting up straight again I looked at Antonio, who shot me a pretty confused look.

"Lovi, what's wrong?" He asked, concerned. Maybe he thought I was going to pass out again.

"Nothing, I just... felt something." I whispered, laying one of my hands on the very small bump that was beginning to show up. (It was already a little obvious, I'm not exactly a very big guy. I was actually kinda small when it came down to size... Not skinny, but not very masculine...)

"Felt something?" Antonio asked, growing more confused which each second. I could feel his eyes staring at me, searching for pain. (I know that face very well, dammit...)

"Si... Something... Moved..." I continued, staring downwards. Could it be? Already? Maybe he/she was growing a little faster than we thought. Or maybe I just have sensitive nerves, because I could definitely feel small movements down there.

"Moved?" He questioned, and put his hand right beside mine. "Is it the baby?" I could hear a little but of excitement work its way into the Bastard's voice as he moved his hand a little to try to feel something.

"It's about seventeen weeks. It's normal for me to feel something, it might not be very noticable from out here." I mumbled, putting my hand on his, guiding it to where I felt the sensation earlier.

"That sucks, I want to feel my little baby." Antonio whined with a pout. "All I know is that he or she is in there, and being mean to you."

I rolled my eyes and leaned back as he continued to hold his hand in place, hoping for just a hint of movement to be felt. He continued to moved his hand a little, in a circular motion. It felt quite nice, I think I understand why dogs likt the stomach rubbed, because just that little bit of motion felt incredible.

I was relaxed, with a nice and content smile on my face and my eyes closed. It was a few minutes later when I felt a pair of lips meet mine in a very soft kiss, very very soft. The kiss was followed by a small chuckle.

"I guess I have to wait a little longer." Antonio whispered and laid his head next to mine, letting out a sigh. "But I don't mind. My baby and my fiance seem to both be doing just fine right now. Which is all that really matters."

"You're weird." I muttered, cracking open one eye to get a look at the goofy grin that I was met with. Green eyes shone bright, matching the smile perfectly. His was was a little longer than usual because he had been too distracted to get it cut or too worried about anything to let me get a pair of scissors to it. I could almost put it into a ponytail, it was getting so long.

I closed my previously opened eye, hearing the rain stop outside. I could practically feel the sun pouring in from the window as the clouds cleared from the sky and the sunlight made its happy way inside through the living room windows.

"Hey it stopped raining." Antonio said.

"Thanks Captain Obvious." I mumbled, lightly elbowing him in the side.

"You're welcome Liuetenant Sarcasm." He laughed, like I tickled him instead of trying to hurt him a little bit. I smiled just a bit, feeling another movement inside of me. Like a small reminder than me and Antonio will never be alone again.

I'm so blocked at trying to spread this out as much as I can! It's getting harder to write chapters... Anyway.. If you have any cute ideas you would like to see, I'll take them as suggestions. So leave them in a review or PM them to me.

See you next time!
