ARE YOU READY?! I KNOW I'M READY! The time has finally come to reveal the Blue Pegasus Guardian! I was sent a lot of great ideas. And every single character I got could fit some way or another into my story. I want to thank Kaida-Nee Alberona, MaiaSaraye17, Haley Le, IceDragonSlayerSpy15, frozenheartz, and Tez15, who sent me in ideas. They all rocked! But after a lot of thought and planning I decided who would be the Guardian.
Rin: Who? WHO?!
Me: It's a secret! *Smiles impishly*
Rin, Ace, Lucy: OI! TELL US NOW AUTHOR! WE HAVE BEEN DYING TO KNOW!
Me: You're just going to have to wait until the story starts. Be patient little ones.
Lucy and Rin: Then hurry up and start the story!
Ace: Hey Shin? Why aren't you protesting? Supchild won't let us know who the new Guardian is.
Shin: Because I'm the one who found the Guardian….BAKAS! And I don't throw tantrums, unlike you idiots…
Rin, Ace, Lucy: *angry auras flow around them. They fuse their powers together and make a giant hammer. They knock Shin unconscious with the hammer, but they also cause serious damage to my floor.*
Me: Oi! BAKAS! STOP DAMAGING MY ROOM! *goes into rage mode. Swings battle axe around defeating the G.O.G members but also destroys my room.*
Me: Sigh. Ok everyone, please read my story while I hire a construction crew to come rebuild my room.
Lucy: Supchild doesn't own any of the Fairy Tail characters *Lying in a heap of rumble groaning*
Rin: She only owns me, Shin, and Ace. And all of the other oc's and the G.O.G HQ. *Trying to crawl from underneath the rumble*
Ace: She also doesn't own the new Guardian. All rights and ideas go to the other author. *tending to his wounds*
Shin: Please read and review. *being a ninja*
Me: To the story! * flipping through Yellow Pages, trying to find someone to fix my room*
Rin: Hey Shin?! How come you're not hurt?
Shin: I'm a ninja…duh.
ALL: Damn you and your ninja self…
Shin: *grins*
And I'm sorry it toke me so long to update. My computer was giving me grief and then I lost the document and I had to start all over again…. -_-
Chapter 7: The Twin Guardians
Lucy's POV:
I watched as two people walked into our hideout. They looked to be about thirteen years old. I activated my magic eye. I had learned a while ago that because of my encounter with the Infinity Clock, I could look back in time for certain periods. I focused my magic on the two walking into the hide out. I didn't doubt Shin judgment. And I certainly didn't doubt that these two were capable magicians, but it felt like I had seen them before. I looked back through my memories and I suddenly remembered where I had seen them. So they had survived. I sighed and deactivated my magic eye. They looked exactly like their younger selves did when I had first meet the twins. They probably wouldn't recognize me, but that would probably be for the better.
"Um….I'm Tora…." said girl with straight silver hair. There were bits of blue at the ends of her hair and there were freckles dusted across her face. Her hair color, made her violet eyes stand out against her skin. She had very fair complexion but I could tell that she probably spent a lot of time in the sun. She was wearing a green shirt with a guitar on it. She also had on these faded black jeans and fingerless black gloves. There was a black bandana tied around her neck, making her sort of look like an old western bandit. I sweat dropped at that thought. My writer's imagination was getting the best of me again.
"And I'm Taiga." The girl who looked exactly like her sister except for the pink at the edge of her hair. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail. She and her violet eyes were sparkling. She was wearing a pink crop top and a white cami underneath. She had on black cargo pants and she had on pink fingerless gloves on. She also had a bandana tied around her neck, but it was pink. They had been polar opposites when I had meet them three years ago and they were still that way. If I was going to entrust Blue Pegasus to someone, then the twins would probably be my first choice. They were trustworthy and loyal. And I knew they were stronger than most mages their age. They would be great guardians. But before I could greet the twins and tell them how happy I was to see them again, I had something to take care of first. I disappeared in a flurry of star dust and I could tell that the people around me were shocked. I then teleported behind Shin and before he could react, I slammed his head into the floorboards.
"Aah! Lucy! What the heck?! Are you trying to kill me and break the building?!" Shin exclaimed, wrenching his head out of the floor. My killer demon aura began to float around me. I heard Shin gulp and I could smell his fear. (A.N: Aaah! Run readers! Evil Lucy has appeared!) I smirked evilly.
"Ooh!" Taiga exclaimed. We all turned to look at her. Taiga took a deep breath and pointed her index finger at .Shin.
"Ostrich." She said. We all blinked before we fell down anime style. Tora face palmed and sighed.
No one's POV:
"Taiga what are you talking about?" Tora asked turning to her sister.
"Ostriches stick their heads in the sand. And Shin-dono had his head slammed into the floor and that reminded me of ostriches." Taiga said simply.
"And how is that relevant to the current situation?" Tora asked.
"Uh…Shin-dono is secretly an ostrich?"
"I am NOT a fat, flightless bird! And stop calling me Shin-dono!" Shin yelled.
"Shin… Why are they here?" Lucy asked, her calm, yet evil voice chilling everyone in the room to the bone. Well except for Lyon and Gray seeing as they were ice mages and they were always cold.
"Uh…well… I say them on the street and I recognized them and then they tried to take my money…" Shin stammered.
"What?" Lucy asked, turning her evil glare to the twins. Tora and Taiga turned and looked at each other and did their twin thing. Tora steeped towards Lucy and Taiga followed after her.
"It's a loooong story Lucy-nee." Tora said, clearing her throat. Lucy sighed and her demon aura disappeared. She gave the twins a small smile and a glare at Shin. She wouldn't forgive him until she knew the whole story. The twins were young girls and they had already suffered enough because of the G.O.G. She didn't want to drag back into this mess when they had only just gotten out.
"Well your just going to have to tell us as we pack up. We don't have time to sit down and listen to your story, unfortunately. Not with the System on our trail. We'll get you two set up when we get to Azar." Lucy said. "Ace! I thought I told you to go get the kit! And Shin go get Lola!"
"Please no…. anything but that…" Shin began but Lucy caught him off with a sharp look. He pouted and walked off into the hide out. Once Shin was out of sight, Lucy turned back to the twins.
"Can you guys stay here with everyone else while we get everything set up to move?" the twins nodded. Lucy began to walk off to help Rin with the portal but she stopped and turned around. "I'm glad I got see you two again, Tora, Taiga…. I'm glad I'll be able to work with you." With that Lucy walked off to help Rin.
Shin's POV:
I walked slowly and dragged my feet towards the back room. This particular room was all the way in the back of the base and didn't receive much sunlight. The Witch preferred it that way. Lucy knew that that old witch hated me, for reasons unknown. I approached the door at the end of the hall way. It was made of red oak and an ugly door knocker was attached to it. If you wanted to enter the room and not have to worry about getting hit with stray magic or an offensive smell you used the door knocker. I personally thought it looked like a mutated puppy that had the chicken pox. But I kept that opinion to myself because the witch was extremely fond of her door knocker. I knocked three times and waited for the witch to give me the all clear to come in.
"Come in!" A nasally voice rasped out. I hesitantly opened the door. I had my guard up and I was prepared for flying spells to come at me. I crept silently into the room and looked around. The room was slightly illuminated because of a couple of lamps sitting around. There was an insane amount of pillows in the room. The floor was basically one big pillow made up of smaller ones. There were shelves on the wall that were packed with bottles of spices. A giant cauldron sat in one corner of the room and strange, ugly tapestries hung from the walls.
"Hmm. Looks like my dear Lucy sent the stupid ninja boy again." An old voice said. I turned towards the voice and glared. I could see a hunched over figure sitting on top of a mountain off pillows.
"I can hear you, ya know!" I said and stalked over to the only window in the room. I threw open the window. The late afternoon sun poured into the room.
"Gah! Close that window you stupid boy!" The old witch yelled. I felt something slam into my head and I almost blacked out from the impact. I managed to grab the window sill and I held myself upright.
"What the heck is wrong with you?! Are you trying to kill me?!" I shouted at the old lady. My foot bumped into something and I looked down and saw a giant iron weight lying on the floor. I then realized that being alone with this old coot was hazardous to my health. The Witch had an unfaltering grudge against me, only heaven knows why, and she had attempted to murder me on several occasions. But every single time Lucy or Rin had saved me from the Witch, but they were both mad at me. If I didn't get out of this room soon, I wouldn't live to see tomorrow.
"Well what do you want boy?! If you just came in here to bother me, get out! Or else I'll turn you into a toad. Again…" the Witch said, interrupting my musing.
"Lucy wants to see you. We're going to Azar and we have two new guardians so Lucy need your help." I said.
"Hump! If you had just said that earlier then I would have gone and I would have to to endure your presence as long as I did." The Witch said, as she climbed down her mountain of pillows. She tottered towards the door and gave me a good glare as she passed.
"Why do you hate me so much?" I blurted randomly. Ah…great! Nice going Shin. Now she knows you care about how she feels about you.
"You're an idiot." She said simply and then she toddled out the door. I sighed. This old Witch was going to be the death off me. As I walked towards the door, my foot sunk down into the cushions and was stuck fast. The more I pulled, the more my foot sunk down. I kneeled down so I could see why my foot was stuck when I heard a whooshing sound. I quickly dropped to the floor and then a dull thwack echoed throughout the room. I cautiously raised my head and turned to see a giant cleaver stuck in the wall. I stared at the knife unemotionally for a moment before I snapped.
"OLD WITCH!" I shouted, ready to tear the old hag limb from limb. This whole 'try to murder Shin' had gone too far. I could hear the evil old devil laughing at me. Well she wouldn't be laughing for long. I knew that my magic aura was fluctuating dangerously but I didn't care. As long I as got my revenge, I was happy. I stepped forward ready to terminate the old Witch when something pulled me back. Before I did a major face plant into the soft pillow, I remembered that my foot was stuck and that I really hated old people.
(AN: I realized Shin is a little too mature so I created a character that could ruffle his feather a bit… cause he is an ostrich… ^^)
Rin's POV:
I had set up a giant magic circle in the center off the room. I made everyone stand at least two feet away from the circle to ensure that no one would step on it and blur the lines. If even one line was blurred or erased, we could end up somewhere else entirely. We could even end up in Edolas! I checked the magic circle again and it looked like everything was alright.
"You ok?" A soft voice called to me.
"Yeah. I'm alright." I said, turning to look at my sister. She was sitting on a stool watching me set up the magic circle. I could tell that she was upset that I never told her about the whole Guardian thing. But I didn't want Lin to get dragged into this. I had put my twin through so much and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I dragged her into the G.O.G. My sister took care of me even after that day. Even after I destroyed all the happiness we had in this world.
Flash back:
The ground was shaking. The village was in turmoil. I had only been a child when I joined the G.O.G. My powers had awaked and I had somehow called upon the gods. Poseidon was breaking the earth and Hades' dead souls floated up through the cracks. Ares was just relishing in the pure chaos and fear in the situation. The other gods simply looked on as my world was being destroyed. There was fire. Buildings were burning. No one survived. Just me and my sister. Zeus tired of looking at the chaos sent a lightning bolt and destroyed everything. Ending it all. They said it was the price I had to pay for wielding this magic. But I didn't want this magic. I never did. I just sat there with my sister. We sat there where our lives, our happiness, and our hope used to be.
"Rin!...Rin! RIN! ARE YOU IN THERE?!" A voice shouted and something kept hitting my head. I left the memory quickly and buried it deep in the recessives of my mind. I turned and saw my sister looking at me with a frown on her face. I smiled sheepishly and she shook her head.
"Baka." Lin said smacking me in the head.
"Meanie…" I pouted rubbing my head. "Hey! Did you smudge any lines?!"
"Don't worry I didn't. I had to come over here and get you out of lala land. This Fairy Tail mage wanted to talk to you." Lin said pointing to a small girl standing outside of the magic circle. I recognized her, from all the letters Lulu sent me, as Levy the bookworm. She had blue hair like me but my hair was a couple of shades lighter.
"Can I come in?" Levy asked pointing to the circle. I nodded. Levy pulled out a pen and wrote the word 'float' on herself. She floated above and over the circle. Then she wrote 'descend' on herself and she landed in the circle next to Lin.
"I wanted to talk to you about Lu-chan." Levy said, fidgeting nervously with her pen. At first I didn't know who she was talking about but then it clicked that Lu-chan was Lulu.
"Why?" I asked.
"Rin don't be rude!" Lin said smacking me on the head again.
"Oww! I was just asking why she was talking to me instead of Lulu!" I said, rubbing my head indignantly.
"Oh… well…I'm not sure how to ask Lu-chan so I thought I could ask you instead." Levy said.
"Lulu is your friend right?" I asked looking Levy in the eyes.
"Oh yes! Of course! I consider her as one of my best friends!"
"And Lulu thinks of you as her best friend too. She wrote about you all the time in the letters she sent me. I think if you ask Lulu, she will answer."
"But can I still ask you?"
"Sure."
"When did Lu-chan join the G.O.G? When did you two meet each other? When did Lu-chan become Fairy Tail's guardian? And what is Team 0's magic?" Levy said in one big breath.
"Whoa! That's a lot of questions but I think I can answer them all. Well for starters Lulu joined the G.O.G when she was ten and so did I. That's where we meet each other for the first time. In the Grand Hall of the G.O.G. We were test candidates for the System. Lu-chan and I somehow survived the System when it was first created. When that crazy whack job doctor first implanted himself in the machine it was unstable. Everyone who was a member of the G.O.G was used a test subject. A lot of people died because of a sick doctors and that crazy director. The G.O.G was just a protection agency. We protected anyone who need our help and we watched over the guilds and the dragon slayers. But then the System stabilized and the Judgment Initiation began. The G.O.G recruited new agents, and all the old agents along with the new ones, had to suffer the pain of the Judgment Initiation. The Initiation was worse than all of the tests and trials the System had put us through before. But we were stronger than before and for the people who were physically and magically fit, their magic didn't strain against their bodies. But I do remember this one kid whose body couldn't handle the magic pressure. He just exploded. The blood was everywhere but the Head carried on like nothing had happened but he ordered some janitor to clean up the mess. I remember his sister was crying and we had to sedate her because she was hysterical." I said. I was so wrapped up in my memories that I hadn't realized that Lulu was standing next to me or that the entire room had gone silent listening to my every word.
"His name was Samuel. He was being forced to learn a dark magic." Lucy said, awaking me from my stupor.
"Yo Lulu! I was telling Levy here about some stuff." I said.
"I know." Lulu said nodding her head. "Weren't you about to tell her about our magic?"
"Oh yeah! My magic is called Mythos. I have the ability to call upon the Roman gods and they grant me their power. I could destroy galaxies with the power I have so the G.O.G only allowed me to call upon Artemis. Lulu has a magic called the Angel. She has two forms, the Angel of the Heavens and the Stars and the Angel of Darkness and destruction. And if you ask me, both forms are terrifying when Lulu is angry."
"No one asked you…" Lulu muttered.
"Anyway, Shin has the magic called the Undertaker. He can summon any weapon in existence and his kill rate is 100%. He is basically a Shinigami but he thinks he is a ninja."
"I AM A NINJA!" Shin shouted. He was still trapped in the Witch's room.
"Whatever you say Shin." I said, rolling me eyes. "Ace has magical contract with a Hellhound. The gloves he has allow him to tap into the demons power over fire. Shin could merge completely with the demon and have demonic powers and what not but the G.O.G won't let him. And I think that is about it."
"Well now that your done running your mouth, can we go. I have potions to brew." A voice said.
I groaned in my head and reluctantly turned to see the Witch glaring at me with her beady, ugly, old eyes.
"Hello to you to Lola." I said glaring at the old crone. She only huffed and turned away. This old Witch hated everyone in the world. Everyone except Lulu.
"Hello Lola! I'm sorry about making you get and move so suddenly but the System is after us and we need to go somewhere safe." Lulu said.
"It's alright dearie. I understand. But you know that there isn't really a safe to hide from the System." The Witch said.
Ugh…. Dearie?! Don't make me gag! The old conniving Witch was trying to weasel her way into Lulu's heart! I won't stand for it! Oh it's on Grandma! And as if she sensed my inner challenge, the Witch turned to look at me and smirked.
Now it's on like Donkey Kong! Prepared to get beaten you old evil Witch of the west!
I then felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. I turned and saw my sister giving me a stern look. She knew what I was thinking and she wanted me to stop. She knew exactly what I was thinking about, it must be a twin thing. Ace walked into the room carrying the kit and he stood close to Lucy, but he backed up when a small fire ball almost collided with him. Salamander obviously threw it at Ace so he would back up and not get so close to Lulu. Ace began glaring at Salamander and Natsu-san smirked in response. Shin then limped into the room and he brought Tora and Taiga into the circle with him.
"Hey ninja boy did you smear any lines?! If you did fix them! I don't want to end up at the other end of the world!" I shouted at Shin.
"I didn't mess up your circle but the Witch may have." Shin said death glaring at Lola. She smiled innocently and all I could do is sigh.
"Well whatever. If end up in Edolas or god knows where, don't blame me. Ok everyone into the circle!" I said.
The guilds got into the magic circle, after a lot of pushing and shoving, without messing up any lines. Once everyone was situated, I noticed that Salamander was right behind Lulu and had wrapped his arms around her, much to Ace's displeasure. I was about to squeal but before I could someone beat me to it. I turned my head and saw Mira staring at Lulu and Salamander with hearts in her eyes. She eventually noticed I was looking at her and turned to face me. I gestured in Lulu's direction and Mira nodded. And like that we understood each other. Maybe because we both had a common interest: get Lucy and Natsu together. We shared a devious grin and then I remembered what I had to do.
"Ok ladies and gents! Stay inside the circle and try not to puke on your fellow mages. Thank you for ridding the Rin Express." I activated the teleportation magic.
"And here we go!"
In a flash of light we were gone with no trail left behind for the System to follow.
No One's POV:
A magic circle appeared in a room in a giant castle in the East. A large group of people were standing in the middle when the magic suddenly vanished.
"We're here!" Lucy shouted and the mages finally broke out of their huddle formation and began to spread out. The guilds were standing in a gigantic living room. The floor was carpeted with a plush velvet and the walls were made of creamy marble. Plush couches and chairs were scattered throughout the room and a massive fireplace was sitting in the front of the room.
"Where the hell are we?" Sting asked trying to soak in the room.
"Lucy's house." Rin said replied. It took several minutes for that bit of information to sink in before…
"EEEEEHHHH! THIS IS LUCY'S HOUSE?!"
"How much money do you have?" Evergreen demanded
"You guys shouldn't be too surprised yet. Wait till ya see the rest of the house." Ace said lounging on one of the couches.
"Lucy-san. I'm going to get lost." Wendy and Romeo said seriously.
"Don't worry it's not that big."
ONE REALY LONG TOUR LATER
"Not big my foot! This place is ginormous!" Romeo exclaimed.
The 'house' had 100 bedrooms, 103 bathrooms, 3 fully equipped kitchens, 6 lounges, 4 dining rooms, 5 ballrooms, 20 storage closets, 9 libraries, and an endless number of secret passage ways and tunnels. Lucy's house in one word was massive.
"The house is really old and I didn't know it was mine until my dad died. He somehow managed to buy it for me before he passed on. He said he wanted somewhere suitable for me to live if I ever decided to try to bring back the family business." Lucy said.
"Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit." Bisca said in awe.
"We should get those two set up, shouldn't we?" Lola said making all of the Guardians remember their tasks.
"We can do it in one of the parlors." Lucy said. She led everyone into one of the parlors and everyone sat down except for the guardians and Lola. Ace opened the case and set it in the center of the room.
"Well then, let's get started." Ace said pushing a button on the case activating a magic spell within the case.
"WHO DARES TO AWAKEN THE ETERNAL GUARDIAN FROM HIS SLUMBER?!" A voice called out form the case.
"We dare. The guardians of Fiore and the last defense against the demon lord Arab." Lucy said calmly. As if she was used to loud booming voice yelling at her for disrupting their sleep.
"State your business with me before I destroy you."
"We wish to bring in two more Guardians into our band of brothers and sisters. We ask of you to perform the ritual and link these two with the Blue Pegasus guild." Rin said gesturing to Tora and Taiga.
"Are they ready to accept the responsibilities of a Guardian?"
"We are." Tora and Taiga said together.
"Then let it be recorded for all of history what you young ones have accepted today. You are now the last defense against the final evil. Take up your bravery and courage and face the demons in the dark. For the time is approaching fast when He shall awaken."
With those words Tora, Taiga, and all of the Blue Pegasus members began to glow. Only the four Guardians knew what was taking place. The consciousness of Tora, Taiga were being linked with Blue Pegasus. This was done so that a Guardian would know when their guilds needed help. Once the glowing stopped Lucy explained to everyone what had happened. Guardians can't read minds but they would know if any of the guild members were in trouble or being attacked by demons.
"Taiga Shion. Tora Shion. Do you swear with the powers you have been given to protect the Blue Pegasus guild and fight for the better of all?" Lucy asked.
"Yes. We do."
"Do you swear to strike down any threat to the safety of your guild no matter what that threat may be?"
"Yes. We do."
"Do you swear to protect you guild even if it means sacrificing your life and your ultimate termination?"
"Wait Lucy! Termination?! We can't make these girls promise something like that for our safety!" Master Bob exclaimed. The other Blue Pegasus agreed with their master.
"That kind of promises is just…. Ridiculous!" Jenny exclaimed.
"Tora and Taiga don't have to swear that they will." Lucy said.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"But if they don't, then we'll have to erase their memories of us. And take them back where I found them" Shin said leaning against a pillar.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"You all evidently don't understand the seriousness of this situation." Rin said. "All four us took this vow when we were first brought into your guild. When we didn't know any of you and had no personal connections. But we swore to do it anyway. We would give up our lives to protect any of you."
"The guilds of Fiore are needed to defeat Arab. He will end this world if we are not prepared. The Guardians are the last line of defense and the Guilds are the last line of offense. The guilds of Fiore are the only things that can destroy Arab." Ace said.
"The world shall meets its end when the children of dragons fall. Nothing shall stand in the way of the demon King from making this world his own. Death, Despair and Destruction shall plague this land. To stop the demon, the Guardians must rise up and protect. Protect the Guilds of Fiore from the coming night and bring forth the light. Protect with your very essence Guardians, the hope of the future. For the time grows near. When the devil shall awaken and time shall end." Lucy quoted. "This is part of the prophecy that has guided Guardians for years. The waking hour is drawing near so we must make sure you all survive till then. If you don't….the world as we know it shall end."
"We'll do it." Tora said.
"We swear to protect everyone." Taiga said
"We want to protect the future." They said together.
"Then welcome to the G.O.G, Tora and Taiga Shion. May the heavens bless and guide you and evil never obscure your path." Lucy said. She pulled a small stamp out of thin air and pressed it to both of the twins' chests.
"It will be an honor to serve with you two." Lucy said smiling and the twins smiled back.
"Master Bob would you be willing to allow Tora and Taiga into your guild?" Lucy asked.
"Yes. I will. But Lucy dear, I don't approve of this…" Master Bob said, hesitation could be clearly seen in his eyes.
"You don't have to approve of it. You only need to stay safe." Lucy replied.
"Lulu it's getting late." Rin said, looking out the window. The sun was setting and the moon was becoming visible in the sky. The ceremony had taken longer than anyone had expected.
"Alright. I'll go lock down the house. You three take everyone to dinner and then get everyone situated in a room somewhere. If you need help call me or get Nana." And with that Lucy left the room.
"Alright everyone let's go get some grub then Tora and Taiga here can get guild stamps." Rin said and she walked out of the room. The Guilds followed after her, they were eager to get some food in their stomach. As they walked through the many corridors of the house, they were all thinking about the same thing. How these Guardians had taken a vow to protect people they didn't even know with their lives. Was this Arab person that awful? And one particular fire mage was thinking of a certain blonde celestial mage. Right then and there he swore he would defeat this Arab so Lucy wouldn't need to give up her life. He would protect her and he would protect his guild. Cause no one messed with a Fairy Tail mage and got away with it. It you messed with one Fairy you messed with all of them.
Unknown to them an evil presence was stirring beneath the surface. The day of reckoning was approaching faster than any of them could have imagined. Day was becoming night and the demons were coming out to play….

Tora: Hey! I thought we were going to get a bigger role in this chapter!
Taiga: Yeah! It's our debut isn't?!
Me: I know. I know. The next chapter is going to be all about you two and there is going to be some intense training and some intense love scenes *wiggles eyebrows* Nalu! GaLe! ShRin! (ShinXRin) Jerza! Gruvia! RoWen! And one sided Lacy….
