Chapter 8: Adventures in Lucy's Really Big House: Part 1!
Rin's POV.
I led the guilds into the dining room that was attached to one of the kitchens. I had almost gone the wrong way but luckily I remembered before we had wandered off too far. Lucy had given me multiple tours and she had helped to memorize the floor plan, but I still forgot where things were. The dining room had two really long wooden tables that could easily hold all of the guild members. The floor was covered in red carpet and the walls were painted a dark cherry red. A giant brass chandelier was hanging from the ceiling and it had illumination lacrimas instead of candles or light bulbs. The kitchen was equipped with three stoves, two sinks, a giant pantry, and a humongous fridge and freezer.
"Alright everybody, you can sit where you want! Food's going to be on in a bit." I said walking towards the kitchen. I suddenly felt a tug on my shirt sleeve. I looked down and saw the wind dragon slayer, Wendy Marvell, looking up at me. She had two Exceeds in her arms and a third was standing on her right. To her left a boy who kinda looked like a mini Natsu-san because of the vest and the scarf.
"Where did Lucy-san go?" Wendy asked.
"Oh, she just went to go activate the magical barrier that protects this place. We may be safe from the System for now but this mansion is the biggest one for miles and it tends to attract burglars to it. We don't want burglars coming in and then we would have to fight them. That would mean using our magic and then the System could find us." I explained.
"Oh…." Wendy said quietly.
"Don't worry kid. Lulu will be back in a jiffy. It doesn't take her long to set up the barrier." I said as I walking into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took mental inventory of what we had. There was always food in the fried, freezer, and the pantry. Lulu had set up some sort of spell but she never explained how it worked exactly. I was thinking about making stew because I could make a lot of it easily. I knew Mermaid Heel didn't eat a lot of food but according to what Lulu told me, the other guilds ate a lot.
"Um….Rin-san do you need any help?" a voice asked. I turned and saw Mirajane standing in the door way.
"Uh…..sure?" I said staring at her.
"Don't worry Mirajane-san. I know my twin doesn't seem like a person that is capable in the kitchen but she can cook pretty well." Lin said strolling into the kitchen.
"Hey! I am offended by the fact you don't think I am capable, Lin!" I said.
"I never said that you weren't capable, idiot." Lin scoffed.
"W-why you..." I said glaring at my sister. I felt heat flowing in my body. Even though it was mild irritation, he was still trying to take over and make me angry and lose my mind like I had in the past. The thought of the tragedies in the past, made me calm down instantly and kept him at bay. I gripped the counter in front of me tightly and took deep, calming breathes.
"You ok sis?" Lin asked walking towards me. I jerked my head up and smiled at her.
"Yup! Let's get cooking! I was thinking about making stew for dinner and maybe a salad. How does that sound?" I asked looking at the other two women.
"Sounds good sis. How about two pots?"
"We're going to need more than that. These boys out there could probably finish two pots like it's nothing and still be hungry." Mira said.
"Well Lulu has a variety of pots so let's see what we have to work with." I said as I began opening cabinets. We found two pots about the size of a bathtub and one pot that could probably be used as a swimming pool.
"How in the world are we going to use this thing?" Lin asked rapping the pot with her knuckles.
"Leave that one tow me but let's get these ovens to work first. They can be really stubborn." I said pushing the on button.
"Whadaya want?!" a voice snapped from inside the oven.
"To cook dinner." I replied.
"Humph. We'll I aint gonna help ya." The oven said
"I had a feeling you would say that." I said, sighing. I turned away from the oven and back to my sister and Mirajane. They were staring at the oven in bewilderment. I sweat dropped. The oven may talk but that was probably the least surprising thing in this house.
"You two ok?" I asked.
"Oh, yes!" Mira said tearing her gaze away from the oven. "How is it that the oven is talking?"
"Oh. The appliances in the house all a feature that allows them to run on their own. They have a special lacrimas in them. You could just put a pot on the stove, tell the stove what your cooking and how you want the food cooked. And the stove does the rest. But for whatever reason, the appliances in this house only listen to Lulu, so it can be frustrating for the guests." I said.
"Oh….."They said together.
"No let's get cooking!" I said, rolling up my sleeves. I opened up the fridge and pulled out a ton of vegetables and meat.
"Alright! I'll take care of the vegetables." Lin said taking some of the veggies from my arms.
"And I'll cook the meat." Mira said also grabbing the hunks of meat from my arms.
"I'll take care of the broth and seasoning. And I might pop some bread into the oven." I said.
I walked over to the three pots. I could haul water from the well that was just outside but that would take too long even if I used magic. I suddenly struck with a great idea.
"I call upon the water nymphs! Come, bring forth the water of the gods!" I shouted. A blue magic circle formed underneath my feet and water rushed up out of the circle and surrounded me. I made the water flow into the pots by gesturing with my hands.
"Alight then! Now to get the seasoning." I said turning away from the now full pots. Something flew through the air suddenly and hit me in the forehead.
"Oww! What the heck?!" I said rubbing my head. I glared down at the ladle that had wacked me in the head.
"Rin….." Lin hissed, glaring at me.
"What?! I didn't do anything that warranted being hit in the head!"
"If you're going to use your magic, give us a head up! You almost gave a heart attack!" Lin yelled, throwing another oversized spoon at me. I was able to dodge that one and I stuck my tongue out in retaliation.
"Fine! I'll warn you next time! But you didn't have to chuck giant utensils at me!" I shouted. Lin glared at me and I glared back. We were having a mental twin war. Our magic auras were clashing with each other and we were using our twin-psychic thing to yell at each other.
"Um…. Rin-san. I don't mean to interrupt your…um…conversation? But the oven won't turn on." Mira said, staring at us apprehensively. I stopped glaring at my twin and turned my attention to Mira.
"The ovens can be really stubborn. You just have to show them whose boss." I said walking over to the oven. I pulled my leg back getting ready to kick the oven when Lin put her hand on my shoulder.
"Rin, wait! Are you sure kicking it won't just make it worse?"
"It might, but we can either wait for Lulu to get back and that might be in an hour or two, or we can try to take care of it now." I said.
"Ok….. Go for it." Lin said, nodding. Mira gave me the thumbs up and grinned.
"Ok….Here we go!" I said kicking the oven hard. Almost immediately, I felt the oven heat up.
"Hey! I think I got it!" I said.
"Uh….is it normal for the oven to be that color?" Lin asked pointing to the oven. The oven was bright red and I could see small puffs of smoke coming from behind the appliance.
"Humph! Take this brats!" the voice from within the oven said. The oven began to glow brighter and it began rattling.
"Oh butter biscuits…" was all I got to say before the kitchen exploded.
The explosion threw Mira, Lin, and me into the air and out of the kitchen. I was glad that the floor were carpeted in the dining room. If they weren't, we would have had a painful landing.
"What's going on?" I heard someone yell. People began shouting and running around. I groaned loudly in irritation. My ears were still ringing and all the extra noise wasn't helping one bit.
"SHADDUP MORRONS!" I yelled. Everyone froze and turned to look at me. "There was just a bit of trouble in the kitchens. So just chill out!"
"Rin you ok?" Shin asked. He pulled me off of the floor and onto my feet.
"Yeah I'm ok. One of the ovens was just being a biscuit." I turned around looking for Mira-san. I saw her being surrounded by her siblings and guild mates. They were hovering over asking if she was ok. She was laughing off her injuries but they were fluttering around her, concerned. And speaking of siblings, I had lost mine.
"Hey Shin, have you seen Lin?" I asked, turning to look at the ninja.
"I haven't but maybe you should let the Mermaid Heel girls deal with her. And you should go back to cooking." Shin said averting his gaze from mine.
"You're lying and your hiding something from me. I'm going to go check up on my twin." I said walking towards my guild.
"Oh god….we're all going to die…." I heard Shin mutter under his breath. I increased my pace to where my sister was. She was surrounded by the girls. Kagura had Lin's head in her lap and Arana was wrapping my sister in bandages.
"How is she?" I asked. Everyone turned and looked at me hesitantly.
"Um….w-well she great! She's fine! Why don't you find Lucy-san so we can take care of dinner?" Millianna asked hesitantly.
"How is my sister, cat-girl? And don't lie this time." I said glaring at her. My magic was swirling around me, menacingly. Millianna stuttered, trying to find something to say. Kagura suddenly sighed and held her hand up and told Millianna to calm down.
"Rin…. Lin was knocked unconscious because of the blast. From what I can discern, Lin has no major external or internal injuries. We won't be sure until Wendy-chan can come examine her. But as you know whenever Lin gets knocked out, she….."
"She has a hard time waking up…..I know." I said quietly. I abruptly turned around and strode towards the kitchen.
"Rin. I don't think Lucy will appreciate you destroying her kitchen…" Shin said. He suddenly appeared in front of me. He was braced against the kitchen door way and a magic circle was in the palm of his hand. The message he was sending to me was clear. "If you want to go in and bash things up, you'll have to go through me." Ok. Maybe that wasn't that exact message, but that was what I was interpreting his body language. Shin maybe be my partner but I won't let him stand in my way.
"I call upon Zeus, the god of lightning and the king of Olympus. Grant me the power to strike down my enemies." I said solemnly. A golden magic circle formed beneath my feet and bolts of lightning began erupting from it. The lighting encased me in a cocoon and I transformed into my other magic. The cocoon suddenly shattered and I heard several gasps throughout the room. I was dressed in white loose, baggy pants, a golden silk crop top that was held to my body by silk scarves. I had golden arm braces on my fore arms and gold cuffs on my ankles. A veil of lighting was pulsing around me and I help a lightning bolt in my hand. My hair had changed from blue to piercing white. I looked like the god from the myths but just female.
"Shin. I am not afraid to strike you down if you don't move. The System doesn't know Zeus's magic so my magic isn't being picked up. But if you fight me, your magic will be recognized."
"I didn't know you used such underhanded tactics, Rin." Shin said glaring at me. He stepped away from the door, allowing me to enter.
"When it comes to Lin, I'm willing to do anything and everything to keep her safe. And that damn oven has royally pissed me off. I'm not backing down until I get exact some revenge." I said passing him. "You're probably want to back away a bit."
I walked over to the oven and glared at it.
"So your back for more kid, huh?! Well I got more from where that came from." The oven said as it began to glow bright red again.
"You hurt my sister." I said abruptly.
"W-what?" The oven asked
"You hurt her. So you must die. Don't worry you'll get replaced eventually." I said, the lighting crackling around me. I began activating a spell powerful enough to eradicate the oven but not strong enough to demolish Lulu's entire kitchen. If I did that Lulu would reap my soul. And let me tell you, having your soul, your essence, ripped painfully from your body is unbearably painful.
"W-wait! Don't do this! Please! Lucy-sama will be upset!" the oven said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Why should I spare you?" I asked. "THEY didn't spare us when we begged for our lives. Begging doesn't work. If you're going to die then you're going to die. Simple as that."
I promptly blasted the oven with electricity and when the smoke cleared all that was left was the ashes. I sighed. I couldn't forget. No matter how hard I tried or what spells I used, I couldn't forget that day. The day I destroyed the entire world…..
Lucy's POV:
I had just finished activating the magic barrier when I felt Rin's magic output increase rapidly. I was about to run off and go see what was wrong but I had to double check the barrier. If the System had found us, Ace or Shin would have told me telepathically. I had to make sure the barrier was completely secure or robbers could sneak in unexpected. I had enough on my plate dealing with the System. I didn't need more problems to deal with. Rin would have to wait. I had to make sure that everything was secure.
Once I knew that we were all safe, I ran to where I had felt the magic fluctuating. I burst into the dining room and saw everyone freaking out. Before I could ask what was wrong Rin walked in one of her magic forms. I recognized it to be Ares, god of war.
"Food's on!" Rin declared loudly. She waved her hand and three giant pots floated into the room. A delicious smell wafted from them and my mouth began to water.
"Rin." I said walking towards her. I swept my eyes over her figure. She had on a black suit of Greek armor. She kind of looked like a gladiator. She had a black breast plate on and a blood red skirt and cape. She had on red sandals that wrapped around her calves. A war helmet was perched on her head that had a multitude of feathers in it. There was a sword strapped to her waist and a spear was on her back. There were probably a multitude of weapons hidden in the confines of her cape.
"Rin, deactivate now." I said sternly. I felt her magic aura react harshly. I hated when she called on Ares. She blew up about the smallest things because of Ares' influence.
"Who said you could boss me around?!" Rin hissed at me. I sighed irritably. This was going to be a pain to deal with. I suddenly moved faster than Rin could react to and I grabbed her arm and spun her around. I slammed her into the ground and pinned her arms behind her back.
"I am your superior Rin. Ares may be influencing you but you have some control. So I advice you take control of yourself now and deactivate or I WILL deactivate you myself." I said. She tried to wiggle out of my grip but I held firm. She growled loudly and continued to struggle.
"Glad you could make it Lucy. That idiot lost her temper and blew some stuff up." Shin said walking over to me.
"Shin. It probably wouldn't be the best idea to agitate her when she…." I was only able to say that much when Rin broke free of my hold and lunged at Shin. She pulled her sword out of its sheath and swung it at him. He pulled a katana out of thin air and blocked Rin's sword. Rin pushed her blade against his and forced Shin to back up. I sighed in irritation again.
"Starlight capture!" I said. A small golden orb formed in my hand out of my magic. I flung it at Rin, and because she was so busy fighting Shin, she didn't notice its approach until it was too late. The orb hit her and immediacy encased her in an unbreakable bubble. Rin snarled at me and tried to break out using her sword.
"You can't get out Rin." I said staring at her. "I won't allow you to rampage Rin. Get control of yourself immediately."
I could see the anger and hate swirling in Rin's eyes. When Ares got a hold of Rin he kept a firm grasp on her mind, because Ares knew Rin stayed calm to keep his influence at bay. She was probably fighting against Ares as hard as he could but she hadn't surfaced yet, meaning I had to pull her out. I began activating my magic when I heard Rin scoff. I looked up at her and raised an eyebrow.
"You're going to use your magic?! You plan on giving us away to the System?!" Rin asked glaring at me.
"I see Rin is still in there somewhere. Good. It will make it easier to wake her up then." I said. "Also, Rin did you think you were the only one with magic not registered in the System"
"You're going to regret doing this mortal. I am a GOD!" I heard a strange voice say. It was probably the voice of Ares.
"Does it look like I care? I don't care if you're a god or a Buddha or even the freaking creator of the world. You hurt my nakama, so you must die." I said calmly, activating my magic form. "I am the protector of the heavens and the stars. I carry the stars' blessing so that I might thwart evil. I am the bringer light and darkness in the form of two. I am the Reaper of the heavens!"
I glowing in a blinding light. No one could see, not even Ares with his so called godly power. I transformed and the light and the magic circle faded away. I was dressed in a white dress that was cut short in the top of the dress. The top part came a few inches below my bust and was cuffed off with a silver ribbon. Ribbons of silk were attached to the top and wrapped around my torso and connected to the skirt of my dress. The skirt flared out from my waist, down to my knees. I had a cloak of white on, which was pinned around my throat with a cross. I thrust my hand forward and made a magic circle. I reached into it and pulled my scythe from within it. The handle of the weapon was pure silver and the blade was made out of ivory. A vine of golden leaves wrapped around the handle, from the base of the handle to where the handle met the blade. A silver rose was fashioned to the base of the blade. I twirled the scythe expertly and got into a combat stance. I quickly lunged at Rin and got enveloped by the golden bubble. The bubble grew bigger to accommodate the extra person inside of it. I swung my scythe at Rin forcing her to back up.
"You attack your comrades, how shameless of you!" Ares said, sneering at me.
"Who said I was attacking Rin? I'm simply reaping her soul." I said. I lunged forwards and swung my scythe down onto Rin. The blade's tip touched her chest and she froze instantly. Rin had a unique kind of magic. Her magic allowed her to have souls contained in her body and she was able to absorb those souls and draw on their magic. I couldn't remove Ares' soul or else Rin might die, but I could force Rin to remove Ares' soul from her own.
"Holy Purification." I said. A magic circle expanded from the tip of my scythe and enveloped Rin's limp body. Then a projection of Rin, in a golden light, flowed up from her body. The projection was Rin's soul in a physical form. There was a red orb glowing within projection Rin. The orb was slowly taking over Rin's soul, so it must be Ares' soul. I shifted the scythe so that the blade was behind Rin's soul and the blade's tip was pointing towards Ares's soul. I swung the scythe quickly and the tip pierced Are's soul. I ripped Ares's soul from Rin and I swore I heard a scream of outrage but I dismissed it. I removed my scythe and Rin's soul returned to her body. I deactivated the capture bubble and we both floated down to the ground. Rin was laying on the ground unconscious. I sighed for probably the fifth time that night.
"Ugh! Why does it feel like I got hit by a train?!" Rin muttered from her position on the floor.
"Probably because I ripped your soul out of your body." I said matter of factly.
"You WHAT?!" Rin shrieked standing up suddenly. She almost immediately sank back down to the ground, groaning in pain.
"Idiot." I deadpanned.
"Oi! Why are you yelling at me?! If you ripped out my soul because I destroyed your oven, I'm sorry! But I had to get my revenge!" Run said.
"You what?!"
"Um…. I might have destroyed your oven….But not the whole kitchen!"
"I'm going to let you recover from your little rampage but then I'm going to reap your soul again." I said glaring down at Rin. She shuddered in fear and scooted away from me. She should be afraid. (AN: She has risen! Evil Lucy returns! XD) I deactivated my magic because Rin had calmed down and recovered for the most part.
"Oi! Lucifer. Chill out before your evil aura starts summoning demons." Shin said walking over to us. "You ok Rin?"
"Yeah I'm ok… Sorry about attacking you earlier." Rin muttered. Her hair fell into her face and I couldn't see her expression. Shin chuckled and squatted down to Rin's level.
"It's ok. Sorry for ticking you off. I'm just glad you're ok." He said patting her on the head. I could see Rin's face heat up and Shin saw it too because he chuckled again. I then remembered I was supposed to be angry, not swooning over the love of my best friends. I went back to glaring
I turned my death onto Shin. He raised is head and looked at me. He didn't let his fear show on his face but I could smell her fear. I began to chuckle maliciously and everyone took a couple steps away from me. I was about to yell at Shin and Rin for being stupid but I was unexpectedly tackled to the ground. My senses were overpowered by the smell of firewood and fish…..
Natsu and Happy….
Natsu was lying on top of me and Happy was lying on his back. Natsu pinned my body down with the weight of his. He had propped himself up on his elbows and his pink hair was falling into my face. His ebony eyes were looking down at me inquisitively. I felt my face and body heat up.
"Um…Natsu? What's wrong?" I asked hesitantly.
"Luce…. Are you possessed?" Natsu asked frowning down at me.
"No…. Why do you ask?"
"You turned evil Lucy. Did you eat too much fish?" Happy asked.
I felt my vein popping out. Of course they would think the problem was because of indigestion. I sighed again and death glared at the duo. The flinched and looked at me fearfully.
"I'm fine you idiots. Get off of me! You're too heavy! Fatsos!" I yelled, annoyed.
"Sorry Luce. I thought you had joined the dark side. Don't join the dark side Luce. If they said they have cake, it isn't true. They lied." Natsu said getting off of me and standing to his feet. He stooped back down and wrapped his arms around my waist. He pulled me too my feet and grinned at me. I felt my face heat up and I started sputtering incoherent nonsense.
"She liiikkesss him!" Happy said, in his annoying fashion.
"That gag is getting so old! Stop it!" I shouted, shaking my fist at Happy.
"Uuwah! Natsu! Lucy is being mean!" Happy shrieked, flying behind Natsu. Natsu turned away from Happy and scowled at me. I couldn't help but cower a bit under his gaze.
"Lucy. You need to stop being mean to Happy!" Natsu scolded.
"He started it!" I shouted indignantly, pointing at the feline.
"Luce….."
"Ugh…FINE! SORRY HAPPY!" I shouted. I stuck my tongue out and then I pouted.
"Good Luce." Natsu said, patting my head.
"AAHH! I can't take it anymore!" Someone exclaimed. There was suddenly a bright flash and I felt a grip tighten on my waist. It was then I remembered that I was still in Natsu's embrace. He had pulled me into his chest and his arms were wrapped around me protectively. My face heated up again and I heard Happy snicker. I was about to yell at him again but another bright flash stopped me. I turned and saw something so horrifying that I turned ash white. Mira, Lin, Rin, Cana, and Shelia were holding cameras and snapping picture of Natsu and I. I heard Natsu grunt and I looked up and saw that Natsu's face was pinker than his hair.
"Kyaaa! NaLu! It's so cute!" Rin squealed snapping more pictures. My blush intensified and I pushed myself out of Natsu's arms and glared at my friends. I formed a ball of stardust in my hand and I began to pelt my friends. They ran away shrieking but I chased after them.
"DIE YOU LITTLE BISCIUTS! AND WHAT THE FUDGE IS NALU?!" I shouted enraged. They just giggled and continued to run away and I continued to pelt them. I heard everyone laughing at my antics but I didn't care. I would make them pay for embarrassing me so much.
Natsu's POV:
I was blushing and I knew it. I had held Luce in my arms for a long period of time and that was all I could think about. I was snapped out of my daze when something cold hit the back of my head. I rubbed my head and grumbled about the pain as I looked down and saw a block of ice on the ground. I felt anger bubble up inside me like hot, flowing lava.
"ICE PRICK! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" I shouted and charged towards the stupid ice boy. I lit my hand on fire and slammed his skull into the ground.
"What the HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU FLAME BRAIN?!" Gray yelled at me from his position on the floor.
"Like you're one to talk Mini Lancelot! How dare you attack me!" I said as I began to slam my fists into his torso. Gray caught one of my arm and flipped me over but I managed to land on my feet.
"You wanna go you retarded flame boy?!"
"Bring it you oversized ice cube!"
Before I could pound Gray's face into the carpet something slammed into my head and forced me to the ground. I was about to yell at whoever hit me but I then I saw who it was. It was the she-demon herself…Erza.
"Are you two fighting?" Erza asked in a cold voice.
"N-no! We're not fighting! Why would we do such a thing? We're best friends, right Natsu?" Gray said, looking at Erza in terror. He swung his arm on my shoulder and I did the same.
"A-aye!" I stuttered, afraid Erza would see through our act. Erza suddenly began to chuckle maliciously. An evil aura was swirling around her. Gray and I began to sweat like no bodies business. Erza was a demon and freaking scary. End of story. She looked at us and I swore she looked deep into my soul and I could see the evil intent in her eyes.
"THAT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION YOU IDIOTS! I KNOW YOU WERE FIGHTING!" Erza yelled. She requiped into her Purgatory armor and bashed Gray and me into the ground with her club of death.
"You idiots…" Erza muttered, transforming back into her normal Heart Kreuz armor. "The food is ready. So if you two morons want anything to eat then I advice you hurry up."
With that statement, I hurriedly jumped to my feet. Not even one of Erza's beatings could keep me from good food. I looked around and saw Rin, Mira, Lin, Cana, and Shelia all lying on the floor knocked out. They were beginning to stir and get up. They were all groaning about the pain and how Luce can be really aggressive. I had known that fact for years. Luce could kick butt if she wanted to and was angry enough. Her 'Lucy kicks' were nothing to joke about. Those kicks were threats to my health and safety. But I probably got kicked so much because I pissed her off so much. But it was a lot of fun seeing Luce angry because she was so cute….. Wait. Where did that thought come from? I'm probably too hungry and I'm getting delusional. I walked over to a table where Mira and Lisanna were serving up stew and salad for people. Mira gave me an extra helping but not before she gave me this weird smile. I took the food hesitantly and walked off to sit with the other dragon slayers. I sat down between Wendy and Rouge and in front of Gajeel. I noticed that Romeo was sitting next to Wendy and would glance at her every few seconds then hurriedly look away. I made a mental note to talk to him later.
"Hey Everybody! Can I have you attention please?" Luce shouted from the front of the room. Everyone quieted down and focused on Luce. "I know it's getting late so I figured out the sleeping arrangements. I decided to assign a wing of the house to each guild. I've given all of the masters a floor plan so that you can get around. The house isn't too big. You just have to get used to the different size. The masters can decided how things will work in each wing of the house. I figured this would be the best approach seeing as we will be here for an extended amount of time. I hope that is acceptable for everyone."
The masters said that the plan was good with them and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright now that's that settled, if everyone is done eating I can help everyone get situated." Luce declared. Everyone drained their last bits of stew and got ready to move out.
"Ok, Mermaid Heel will have the North wing." Luce said walking down a corridor. She led us to a long hallway that branched off into different directions.
"Rin. Can you help them get settled? You know the North wing very well and make sure they don't go in those rooms." Luce asked, turning to the blue haired girl."
"Will do boss lady!" Rin said, saluting to Luce. "Come on ladies! Let's rock and roll!" And with that, Rin proceeded to stroll down the hallway.
"Ok, now Sabertooth gets the North-east wing." Luce said leading us to another major hallway that wasn't too far from the Mermaid heel's wing. Luce walked over to Sting and whispered him something in his ear. I would have gone over there and ripped Luce away from him if I hadn't heard what she said.
"Sting-san, I'm putting you so close to Mermaid heel because I believe I can trust you and you male guild members not to harass those girls, unlike Quarto Cerberus. But if have any inkling you are betraying my trust, I will not hesitate to throw you and your guild to the where hound in the basement." Luce whispered. Sting nodded rapidly, obviously intimidated by Lucy's threat.
"Shin. I'm leaving this to you." Lucy said, turning to look at him.
"On it. And I know, those rooms are off limits. I'll set up extra barriers latter." Shin said walking into the hallway. "Unless you idiots want to get left behind and get lost, I advice you get your asses in gear."
The Sabertooth mages scrambled to follow the stoic boy, shouting at him to wait up. I chuckled lowly until a felt a piercing stare on me. I turned and saw that stupid Ace guy glaring at me. I could tell he was upset because I was held Luce in my arms earlier. I smirked at him and that just made his glare intensify even more. I walked over to Luce and slung my arm over her shoulder. She simply glanced at me and then continued talking to Ooba Babasaama about how Lamia Scale would be staying in the East wing, and to Goldmine about how his guild was in the South west wing. Blue Pegasus was in the West wing and Lucy gave them a map so that Tora and Taiga could get around. Ace knew his way around Luce's house and for some reason that made me upset. Ace glared a me one last time before waling off with his guild.
"Lu-chan, where are we staying?" Levy asked.
"We're in the South wing. That wing is the one that connects to the entrance. I will be able to monitor the whole house from there because that's where I have my security system set up." Lucy explained while she was leading us to where we would be staying. "The System might not be able to find us but that doesn't mean that demons can't. So I want to be able to monitor what is going on in my home."
She led us into a hallway that was decorated in a rather old fashion. There were banners hanging from the walls and walls and floor were made out of wood. I could see several barrels lying around.
"There was another reason I chose the South wing for us." Lucy said turning around to face everyone. "It kind of looks like the guild doesn't it? I tried to decorate it the best that I could. I designed each wing to look like a different guild. I planned for this house to be where the guilds would live if this situation ever happened. I wanted everyone to feel at home so I brought a bit of home here."
"Well bunny girl you did shobe dobe do good job." Gajeel said looking around.
"Thanks…. I think…" Luce said, laughing nervously. "Oh, I want to show you guys something! Follow me!"
She led us down the main hallway to two double doors. She pushed the doors open and what I saw inside amazed me. Inside was the main room of our guild. It was like I had been teleported back to Fairy Tail. The wooden picnic tables were all there and so was the request board. The stage and the bar were also there and I could see stairs that led up to a second office where Gramps' office probably was.
"Whoa…." Was all I could say.
"Glad you guys like it but you can check it out later. We need to figure out where everybody is sleeping first." Lucy said matter of factly. Everyone just nodded in reply because they were still in shock because of the 'Guild room'.
"Master did you want to decide the sleeping arrangements?' Luce asked turning to Gramps. Gramps got this stupid grin on his face and I knew he was about to say something perverted.
"All the girls can sleep with me and the boys can sleep in there!" Master declared boldly, pointing to the Guild room.
"HELL NO!" the girls and boys protested loudly.
"Mira, Erza, would you two decided on the sleeping arrangements." Luce asked turning to the two women. I could see Gramps pout in disappointment. Humph! Serves him right for implying something so perverted to MY Luce. As if he sensed my thoughts, Gramps turned and smirked at me.
"Alright! We have decided! Girls will sleep on one side and boys on the other. Girls and Boys have to be back in their rooms by 9:30!" Erza declared loudly.
"Aww!" Macao and Wakaba whined.
"You have a problem?!" Erza asked, going into her she demon form.
"N-no!"
"Good. You can all go pick your rooms so get to it!"
"Aye sir!" everyone cheered.
Everyone dashed off to find a good room. I got lost trying to find the best room so I got stuck bunking with Metal face, Ice prick and Romeo.
"Ugh! I don't want to bunk with you losers! You're all weirdoes except for Romeo." I complained lying on my bed.
"Oh shut it, Flametard! We didn't want to be with you either!" Gajeel yelled at me, obviously annoyed. He chucked a screw at me but I melted it before it even got close to me. Gray who was lying on the bed between metal face and me got singed a bit.
"WHAT THE HELL ASH-FOR-BRAINS?! YOU BURNED ME!" Gray yelled getting in my face.
"And I care why?" I asked looking at him bored. Gray growled at me and I could see the steam coming from his ears. He sighed exasperated and flopped back down on his bed.
"Natsu-nii, are you ok?" Romeo asked walking towards me. And that's when I remembered my mental note from earlier. I suddenly sprang up, startling my roommates. I grabbed Romeo by his scarf and dragged him towards the door.
"I just remembered that I wanted to talk to Romeo about some flame magic tricks. We'll be back in a bit." I said, as I dragged said boy out of the room and slammed the door shut.
"They're probably going to set something on fire…." Gray said sighing.
"Yeah. Then bunny girl is going to beat their asses." Gajeel said, chuckling.
"That should be interesting to watch…" Gray said, chuckling evilly.
Romeo's POV:
Natsu-nii was dragging me down a hallway. He suddenly stopped, swung his head around, and then sniffed the air a couple times. And then he promptly dropped me on the floor.
"Oww! Natsu-nii! If you're going to drag me around at least don't drop me!" I said as I sat up. I rubbed my head, trying to ease some of the pain.
"Romeo."
I turned around and saw that Natsu-nii had the most serious expression on his face I have ever seen. He only gets like that if he is on a serious fight or if he is REALLY mad. I gulped involuntarily. I looked back in the past in my head to see if I had done anything to make Natsu mad but I couldn't think of anything.
"Romeo…do you like Wendy?" Natsu-nii asked seriously. I stared at him for a moment and then my face turned as red as an apple. Natsu-nii stared at me for a second before he shook his head and sighed.
"I had a feeling that you did." Natsu-nii said staring down at me.
"I don't have a crush on Wendy!" I protested, jumping to my feet.
"So you hate her?"
"No!"
"Then you like her?"
"No….w-well….um" I had begun to fidget and wring my hands.
"Romeo. I' only asking you this because I want to know. Wendy is like my little sister. And if you break her heart because you had trouble conveying your feeling for her, I beat your ass." Natsu-nii said.
"W-well you're no better that me! You can't convey your feeling either!" I protested.
"So you do love Wendy?"
"Yes! YES! I love Wendy ok? Are you happy now?!"
"Yes. Yes I am." Natsu-nii said smugly. I glared at Natsu-nii and stuck out my tongue at him.
"If you don't claim Lucy-nee quickly Natsu-nii, that Ace character is going to take her." I told him reproachfully. I saw his eyes narrow in anger and I smirked in triumph.
"Why would I want to claim Luce? She's my partner."
"Well Ace-san sure seems to like her a lot and he might want to claim her. And according to Lucy-nee, she has been partners with these Guardian guys a lot longer than she has been your partner."
I could see the anger in Natsu-nii's eyes. His fist was slightly aflame. I had to calm him down before he set the building on fire and Lucy-nee got really mad. Lucy-nee was terrifying when she was mad….
"Natsu-nii! You should just make Lucy-nee your girlfriend." I said matter of factly.
"W-what?! Why would do that?!" Natsu-nii sputtered. His face instantly turned red. Yup. He liked her a whole lot.
"You're in denial like me. I like Wendy and you like Lucy-nee. You just won't admit it."
"I do not!"
"You made me confess, so you have to also!"
"No!"
"So I guess you wouldn't mind if Lucy dated Ace-san. Since you don't like her."
"NO WAY IN HELL IS SHE DATING THAT CREEP!"
"So you like her?"
"Ugh….yeah… I do." Natsu-nii admitted. His face was now twenty shades darker than his hair. "But I'm still not sure."
"Ok….well do you always want to protect her eve if she isn't in danger?" I asked.
"Yeah…."
"Do you like when she laughs and smiles?"
"Yup!"
"Do you get upset when she is around other guys?"
"Definitely."
"Then you love her." I said with finality. Natsu-nii sighed and nodded. He had accepted the fact that he was in love with Lucy-nee.
"Where did you learn how to do that Romeo?" Natsu asked.
"From Mira-san. She gave me the same quiz about Wendy and I answered 'yes' to all of the questions. Mira-san has been giving me love lessons ever since." I confessed.
"Well it looks like we're both in the same boat. So good luck to you Romeo!" Natsu-nii said grinning his trademark grin.
"You too, Natsu-nii."
Before we could continue our conversation two loud shrieks interrupted us.
"That sounded like…." I began
"Wendy and Lucy. Let's go see what going on!" Natsu said running off. I quickly followed after him.
"If someone hurt Luce or my little sister, they are going to pay, dearly." Natsu-nii growled. I nodded in agreement. I could feel my palms heat up in anger at the thought of someone hurting Wendy. Natsu led the way to Lucy-nee and Wendy by tracking their scent. We burst into their room and we froze because of what we saw. Almost instantly I saw red because of my rage. They were hurting Wendy and Lucy-nee…

Natsu and Romeo: *blushes*
Lucy: Don't embarrass them Supchild!
Me: they're fine. But I bet if you and Wendy kiss them they'll come around. *smirks*
Lucy and Wendy: *blushes*
