Hey my adorable cookies! Sorry the update was so slow. I've had a major writers block. I couldn't figure out what to do exactly with this chapter. *sighs* I love summer but it's going by so fast! *pouts* I was hanging with my friends and we had a random contest. Say the most random thing ever and keep going. If you paused for too long you or if what you said made sense then you lost! My BFF was crowned the Random Queen and I was the Random Princess. Chapter 9: Adventures in Lucy's Big House part 2!

Natsu's POV:

I was angry. I was more than angry. Angry didn't even scratch the surface of how enraged I was. Luce was hurt and so was Wendy. These bastards were going to have hell to pay for messing with my Luce and my little sister.

"Natsu!" I heard Luce shout. Her voice was strained because Luce was focusing all of her energy and trying to pull Wendy out of some dark vortex that was coming out the wall. Wendy lower torso was trapped in the black hole and Luce was trying to pull her out. Whatever that vortex thing was…..it was alive. Long tentacle were oozing from the center and latching onto Wendy, trying to pull her in. There were also tentacle that were lashing at Luce's arms and body, trying to make her let go of Wendy. I was about to go over and burn whatever that thing was when Romeo put his hand out in front of me to make me stop.

"Natsu-nii, you can't go over there and burn that thing! You'll hurt Wendy if you do!" Romeo stated, standing in front of me.

"Well am I just supposed to stand here and let whatever the hell that thing is take Wendy?!" I shouted. glared down at the little boy and he glared back. While Luce was playing tug of war with an ugly, evil blob, Romeo and I had a glare off.

"I would love to go burn that thing to a crisp but I'm not putting Wendy in more danger, Natsu-nii." Romeo said. I paused and looked at the younger boy. I could see the fire burning in his eyes and I realized that Romeo had grown up a lot since the GMG. He wasn't that little kid who was crying about how his dad disappeared while hunting Vulkins.

"I get it Romeo…..Let's go help Luce." I said, running a hand through my hair.

"We'll I'm glad you guys are done arguing, and are friends again but you two won't be of much help. This demon absorbs your magic and if this guy gets even stronger then the only way I could pull Wendy out is if I activate my magic. And then the System would be all over us in a heartbeat." Luce said glaring at the blob. "Just give me a sec….and I can get us out of this mess."

She turned and looked at me and smiled. She gave a hard tug on Wendy's arms and Wendy slipped out of the black blob a bit.

"Alright let's do this!" Luce shouted and she began glowing. A golden magic circle appeared beneath her feet and Luce started reciting a spell.

"Let the radiance of the heavens manifest in me. May the star's blessing come upon me, so that the image of the heavens may be seen throughout the world. May the heavenly light eradicate all evil lingering in this place. Heaven's Light!"

The ink blob immediately let go of Wendy when Lucy started glowing. It slid across the wall trying to get away from the light but it was like the light chased after it. Luce began to glow even brighter than before and I had to shield my eyes. I couldn't see anything but I heard a screech of anguish and I assumed the blob had died to due to overexposure.

"You can open your eyes guys." I heard Luce say. I opened my eyes slowly so that they could adjust to the light. I heard Romeo grunt and a dull thud. I looked to see Romeo curled up on the ground clutching his face and Luce staring at him in confusion. Luce was sitting on the floor and Wendy was sitting in her lap. Luce had her arms wrapped protectively around Wendy's frame.

"Aah! My eyes! Too bright! Lucy-nee, you blinded me!" Romeo exclaimed as he rolled around on the floor. I began laughing at Romeo but I quickly shut up when Lucy death glared at me.

"I didn't blind you Romeo. You just opened your eyes too quickly and they didn't have time to adjust to the sudden change in light. If you open your eyes slowly then you should be fine." Luce explained in a soothing voice. Romeo grunted from his position on the floor and slowly opened his eyes.

"I CAN SEE!" Romeo exclaimed, jumping to his feet suddenly.

"No shiz Sherlock." I said, rolling my eyes. Romeo stuck his tongue out in retaliation. We were about to start flinging fire at each other when I felt a demonic aura flowing around Luce.

"Idiots… Shut up! Sit down!" Luce ordered and we immediately obeyed. We sat down on the bed opposite the one Luce and Wendy were on. Luce was terrifying when she was angry but she also could be adorable when enraged. I tuned out for a second and I came back to reality because Romeo shoved me off of the bed.

"What the heck Romeo?!" I shouted.

"Shut up Natsu-nii! Wendy is asleep!" Romeo whisper shouted.

"Oh…. Where is Luce?" I whispered. I sat back down on the bed. Romeo had moved over to where Wendy was sleeping

"She went to the control room to check on some things. She said that we have to stay here and guard Wendy." Romeo replied.

"What?! I have to go after her! What if that thing comes back?!" Amazingly I was still whispering even though I wanted to shout.

"Fine... Natsu-nii. You go make sure Lucy-nee is alright and I'll watch over Wendy."

"You better protect my little sister, you midget fire caster!"

"I'll protect her with my life." Romeo said seriously. I grinned and ruffled his hair before dashing off to find Luce. I followed the scent of vanilla and stardust to a room that was all the way in the back of the wing. As I was walking along I noticed that it had been gradually gotten darker. All of the areas where the guild was staying in, were well lit but over here I could barely see my hand in front of my face. Luce's scent led to the room at the end of the hall so I barged on in, shouting her name.

"Nats-!" I heard Luce cry out before her voice was muffled. I growled, all the while following her scent through the dark. As I walked I saw a bright light ahead of me so I increased my pace. If anyone or anything had hurt MY Luce, there would be turned to ash. I walked over to the light and I realized that it was a large screen. Different images were flickering across it and I realized that they were all images of the house. This must be the security system that Luce was talking about. I was so absorbed in the screen that I hadn't noticed the two people standing by the screen until I heard a muffled moan. I turned around quickly and saw a sight that made my blood boil. That stupid Ace character was all over MY Luce. He had pinned her hand behind her back and his hands were yanking on Luce's hair. I was over by them in a heartbeat and before that prick could react I slammed my flaming fist into his face. Ace was thrown off of my Luce and into some dark corner. I didn't care where he landed as long as it was far away from Luce. (AN: I love it how he get's so possessive! Lucy, this one is a keeper!)

I turned to face Luce and saw that she was trembling. Her eyes were screwed shut and there a frown on her face.

"Luce?" I asked hesitantly. The instant she heard my voice her eyes popped open and she threw herself into my chest. Her arms encircled my torso and I could still feel her trembling. When I was through making sure that Luce was alright, that bastard was going to get his face caved in.

"Calm down Natsu." I heard Luce's muffled voice say.

"I am calm!"

"No you're not. You're angry. I can feel your dragon scales forming on your back. They only from when you're angry."

It amazed me how this girl knew more things about myself then I did.

"Ok then….I'm angry. That stupid devil boy was holding you down and hurting you. Can I please go punch his face in?" I asked and pushed Luce away from my chest a bit so I could see her face, and so she could see my puppy dog eyes. I watched as she rolled her eyes and smiled a small smile.

"No. That wasn't Ace. And I'm the one who get to punch his face in."

"Aww... Luce! You kill my fun! But I'll let you have this one. Kick him in the teeth for me." I said grinning. I quickly listened to see of that bastard had gotten up. When I knew that I hadn't heard anything stir, I sat down indian style on the floor and I pulled Luce down with me. She sat in my lap and my arms were still wrapped around her. My chin was resting on top of her head and we just sat there in silence.

"I hate it…." Luce whispered. If I didn't have dragon hearing then I probably wouldn't have heard it.

"Hate what?" I asked, peering down at her.

"Feeling weak. I hate my weakness. I can't afford to be weak. I have too many people counting on me and I have responsibilities. I can't be weak. But I am weak and I can never seem to fix my weakness. If I'm weak then people can take advantage of my weakness and I can't let that happen."

"Did that demon dog take advantage of you?"

"..."

"Lucy! Answer me! Did he take advantage of you?!" I asked, my voice getting louder. I could hear the dangerous edge I put to it and it made Lucy stiffen.

"It was a shapeshifter. Not Ace. It caught me off guard. I should have had my defenses up..."

"What did he do to you Luce?"

"He…..The demon just kept talking about how I was weak. About how I had failed in the past. About how I would fail again because I was weak. I shouldn't been affected so much that I couldn't fight back but I was..."

"You're not weak Luce."

"YES I AM!" She shouted. "I am weak but I just need to get stronger. I can't let the tragedies of the past repeat themselves. I won't let it happen." Her voice had gotten softer as she spoke and she had started trembling again.

"Fine then Luce, you are weak. But so am I. We all have weaknesses and we're all afraid of something but that's why we're in a guild. That's why we're in Fairy Tail. We help each other deal with our weaknesses, and as your partner I will help you deal with yours and you help me deal with mine."

"Natsu…"

"My weakness is my nakama but they are also my strength. My nakama encouraged to get up and fight again, but they could also be used against me because I'm willing to give up my life for theirs. You're also my weakness and strength Luce. I would travel to Edolas and back to help you Luce." I buried my head in her hair and inhaled the smell of stardust.

"Thank you Natsu… I don't know what I would do without you." Luce said turning to look at me. I saw microscopic tears in the corners of her eyes but there was a genuine smile on her face.

"Now what is this thing? Is it a computer?" I asked staring at the large monitor.

"Yeah. It allows me to monitor the entire house."

"Cool. Can I touch it?" I asked reaching towards the monitor.

"NO!" Luce jumped up quickly and smacked my hand away. I pouted and stood to my feet. Luce had walked back over to the monitor and was looking at several screens. I was about to walk over to her when I heard something in the back of the room move. I quickly moved in front of Luce, before a huge blast of black fire could hit her. I quickly swallowed the fire, but I almost choked on it because of the taste. I glared at the demon walking out of the darkness. Now the demon didn't even look remotely like that dog baka. Now it looked like a walking blob of ink. I could see two red beady eyes glowing underneath the black dripping mass. It slinked closer to us and I put my fists up ready to beat the crap out of this thing again. It opened, what I assumed to be it's mouth, and took a long raspy breath.

"You have three days to respond to the letter, Angel." And with that it melted and the black blob oozed through the microscopic cracks in the floor. I turned around and stared at Luce, silently asking her to fill me in on what was going on.

"Not now Natsu. I have to go around and check the barrier. These demons shouldn't be getting in here. Something is messing up my barriers or these demons were already in my house."

"I'm going with you." I wasn't leaving any room for argument. Luce looked at me and glared weakly before giving in.

"Fine but hurry up." She walked towards the exit and I followed after her. I followed her out the door. I was going to figure out what letter that blob was talking about. Even if I had to tie Luce down and make her listen to Metal face sing.

Lucy's POV:

I walked briskly through the hallways. I had to hurry up and check the barriers. As I walked past the room Wendy and Romeo were in I quickly set up a protection spell. The low class demons I had run into earlier wouldn't be able to get in and if they did manage to, I would know about it immediately. Natsu was walking in step with me. I glanced at him through the corner of my eye. I could see he was upset about the letter. I mentally cursed the shape shifter. I didn't want anyone to know about that letter. It was my plan B if everything went wrong.

"Hey Lulu. We go a situation in the Sabertooth wing." Rin said, speaking into my mind.

"I'll be right there." I replied. "Natsu change of plans were heading to the Sabertooth wing. There's a problem."

I ran through the hallways, my feet pounding the ground. I burst into the Sabertooth wing with Natsu right behind me. I heard a loud bellow echo throughout the hall. I looked up and saw a giant Minotaur stomping around. Half man, half bull, the Minotaur was one of the most fearsome monsters in Greek mythology. The monster was covered in shaggy hair and two long ebony horns adorned its head. I could see its red eyes glaring down at the people below it, as it tried to crush them with its black hooves. I could feel the dark energy radiating off of it. Shin and Ace were trying to move the people who had been injured out of the way. Tora and Taiga were hitting the Minotaur with blasts of magic to keep it from advancing and crushing the Sabertooth guild. And Rin was…...

"Hey, Lulu! I thinks we might need a battle plan right about now…" Rin said, as she dangled from the hand of a giant Minotaur. I felt a small bubble of panic rise up in my chest but I quickly pushed it back down.

"Ace! Shin! Get everyone out of here! Rin get down from there and you're coming with me. Demons are somehow getting in without tripping the security. We need to find the holes and block them." I said, changing into my leader mode.

Rin shot the monster in the ear and he immediately let her go. Rin landed on her feet and ran over to me. we helped Shin and Ace get everyone one out of the way of the Minotaur.

"Lucy-nee, what should we do?" Tora asked, gesturing to herself and her sister..

"Take that thing down." I pointed to the Minotaur. "You're not registered in the System and you two are the best for this situation. You two can do it."

I smiled at the twins before running off. I had to take care of the holes in the security before the problem got worse.

Taiga's POV:

Lucy-nee has trusted us with taking this giant cow down, so we can't let her down! I was getting seriously pumped to start fighting but then something hit me in the head. I was about to drown whoever hit me when I turned and saw my sister's ticked off expression.

"Did you hear anything I just said?!" Tora shouted at me.

"No." I said bluntly. Tora was always telling me it's always best to tell the truth. But judging by her enraged expression maybe this wasn't one of those times. Tora glared at me for a bit before sighing.

"Baka! I was telling you about our strategy to beat this thing. But we might just have to wing in since you weren't listening."

"Sorry Tora~ Can't you forgive your adorable twin?" I asked giving Tora a big hug and then I gave her the 'look'. Tora says that my eyes look like a cross between a My Little Pony and A Littlest Pet Shop toy when I do this. But it doesn't matter what my eyes look like, the 'look' always get Tora to forgive me.

"Ugh...fine! Come on! We've got a Minotaur to beat up." Tora said walking towards the Minotaur. I walked over to her and stood by her side. We activated our magic and a magic circle formed beneath both of our feet. The System liked our god slaying magic so it let us keep it, but we were given a power up to increase of magic output. I transformed into my armour which consisted of a two length royal blue skirt and a shirt that was made completely out of sea shells. Normally all of those shell would scratch my skin, but my skin grew tougher when I transformed because there were scales littering my upper torso and on my arms and legs. The System had tried to turn me into some sort of fish but it only partially worked. I had scales in certain place and I could breath underwater for long periods of times, but I did have to come up for air. I didn't have on any shoes on because the scales on my feet acted as enough protection. My clothes and my sister's had been made by the System so that were basically indestructible. Tora's clothes were all made of thing from nature. Her shirt was made of thin strands of grass woven together and her boots were made of a type of tree bark that felt, looked, and acted like leather. The System wanted Tora to be more in touch with nature so that's why they designed her clothes in this way. Tora always told me that she felt like a hippie or something. The System tried to make Tora wear a pair of shorts made out of dirt but she threatened to turn the System into scrap metal. Tora had on a pair of normal black, cotton shorts, which went well with her green shirt. Tora had been given the ability to turn into anything you can find in nature, from a plant to an animal. Some might say that the idea to turn into a flower is stupid but it's a great when you're spying on someone. Who would expect a daisy to be listening in on people's conversations? Tora was wearing the long emerald coat Lucy-nee had given her when we escaped the System. I touched the small bangle around my wrist before nudging my sister.

"Ya ready?" I asked staring up at the monster.

"I was born ready…"

"Well then…..I'm going ahead~!" I dashed towards the monster, and I could hear my twins cries of indignation but I ignored her. I formed several small orbs of water in my hand and I leaped into the air. I sailed over the Minotaur and right when I was above him, I flung the water down at him.

"Fangs of Watatsumi!" I cried out. The water flew through the air and slammed through the Minotaur and ripped up his chest in long slashes. I landed behind the giant beast, expecting him to fall to his knees any second. When he didn't I got confused and I circled back to my twin. I saw her staring at the Minotaur in complete befuddlement. I was about to ask what was up when she pointed to the monster behind me. I turned and saw the Minotaur standing up tall without a scratch on him. My mouth was opening and closing like a fish. How was this possible?! I saw the beast get hit by my attack! The monster sneered down at us and before I could translate what that look meant, I was thrown backwards and I slammed into the wall behind me. T ora landed next to me and I heard her grunt in pain.

"Ok. So the giant cow can regenerate….great." I could hear the sarcasm in Tora's voice and I couldn't help but giggle a bit.

"Yeah. But we've beat up tougher guys. We can handle this." I reassured Tora. I pulled myself out of the wall as Tora did the same.

"Yeah, I know. But this time let's do this together ok? No running off and ticking off giant cows."

"Aye sir!"

Tora pulled a small tube out of her pocket and pushed a button on the side of the device. The tube expanded into a giant silver and green hammer. Tora's hammer was made of material stronger than titanium. I pulled the bangle off of my arm and it expanded into a metal whip. Lucy-san had given us both these when we finished our initial training at the G.O.G. I locked eyes with me twin and we nodded in unison. I charged forward and started whipping the beast in the chest forcing it's attention onto me. It tried to stomp all over me but I keep dodging and I kept my distance from the beast.

"Rage of Rūaumoko!" Tora unleashed an attack that shook the floors. The area beneath the Minotaur's feet broke up and his feet were stuck in the ground. The Minotaur tried to pull his feet out but the more he struggled the more he sunk.

"Now Taiga! Let's do it!"

"Ok~!" I dodged the flailing Minotaur and ran back to where Tora was standing. It was time to finish this fight. We gathered up our magic and pushed our output to the max. We both had our arms raised above our heads and a small ball of magic was floating in our open palms. The ball steadily grew larger and I could feel the magic straining to break free against my hold. I focused completely on the ball as it grew even larger and began melding with Tora's magic. Once we reached the point, where if we used any more magic we would collapse, we performed our unison raid.

"We are the elements that make up this world! Face your punishment for disturbing the balance of this world! Face the Rage of Enki!" Our magic shot from our hands and up into the air. It flew in an arc and hit the Minotaur in the head. The blast of magic tore the Minotaur apart but also made a rather large hole in the floor.

"Well Lucy-nee should be happy about the dead Minotaur, but what do we do about the holes?" I asked looking at my twin.

"How should I know? I can close it back up when Lucy-nee gets here but I need for her to exorcise where the demon was or else it will come back." Tora said staring down into the giant hole.

"Did someone call for an exorcist?" Lucy-nee asked walking over to us. She smiled at us and frowned a bit when she saw the hole.

"Hi Lucy-nee. We didn't mean to bust a hole in your floor and your walls. Honest!" I said.

"It's fine. I expected a little more damage because you were fighting a demon but this isn't much. After being with Fairy Tail I'm not really fazed by this." Lucy said looking at the damage we caused. Lucy's closed her eyes and when she opened them her left eye was golden color.

"Time Reverse." The holes in the wall return to the way they were before we hit them. Lucy-nee exorcised the area where the demon was before reverting it back to the way it was before.

"Come on you two. Everyone is in the parlor eating dessert. You two are going to tell me why you were stealing, while the guilds eats and I move the house."

Ah crud…..I had hoped that Lucy-nee had forgotten about that. We followed after Lucy begrudgingly as we walked through the massive house. As we walked I realized something.

"Lucy-nee, what do you mean by move the house?" I asked the blonde Guardian. Lucy turned around and the look on her face made my heart drop into my stomach.

"The system found us because of all the demonic activity. I have to transport the house somewhere safe. But eventually I'm going to run out of places to run."

"Then what?" Tora asked, hesitantly.

"Then we fight back."

Beware Guardians! Beware! Your enemy is the Demons of the darkness. But also be cautious of your comrades. Betrayal is not an uncommon thing….

IT'S DONE! THANK YOU PIZZAS! I HATE WRITERS BLOCK! AAHH! I want ice cream! It's rather short I know but I oucldn't take this cahpter anymore! The next one will be longer I promise!

Lucy: Well you need to apologize to the readers for taking so long before you get to eat.

Me: *bows down* I am SOOOO SORRY! I haven't been able to write the past couple weeks and I hate to say it but this is not one of my favorite chapters. It just is….well…. I have no idea….
