I am SOOOO sorry! My computer got a virus that completely trashed it and I just got around to replacing it. Please forgive me! *cries dramatically*
Mira: Stop being so dramatic Supchild. *scolds me*
Me: I'm sorry…
Levy: There is no need for you to get so upset. The readers probably understand the whole updating thing.
Me: Yeah. You're probably right shrimp.
Levy: Don't call me that!
Gajeel: Only I can call Shrimp, shrimp!
Levy: *slams a giant dictionary into the Iron dragon slayer's head* I'm NOT a shrimp!
Gajeel: I can call you shrimp if I want to cause you're my shrimp
Mira: *squeals* Ah! GaLe! It's so cute~!
Levy and Gajeel: Shut up Mira!
Me: *giggles* Well if you were wondering what other ships I have GaLe is one of them. I want to thank everyone who is following or favoriting this story. I really appreciate it.
Levy: Please read and review!
Gajeel: Follow and favorite...or don't do it. I don't give a crap…

Me: *demon aura*
Gajeel: *shuts up*
Mira: Enjoy the story! *smiles sweetly*
Me: Oh! And I got the idea for a moving house from Howl's Moving Castle. Love that movie!
Chapter 11 The Art of War part one.
Levy's POV:
I walked through the hallways of the giant house, wiping the sweat from my brow. The guilds just had a serious training session. We had pushed the limits of our magic and the limits of our physical strength. I had finished fighting and now I was going to discuss with Lu-Chan, a couple battle plans I had come up with. I had received directions from Rin as to where the library was. I pushed open the doors to the library and I almost cried. There were shelves of books from the floor to the ceiling.
"I've finally found my paradise…" I was nerd-ing out as I slowly toured the room. I climbed up the wooden staircase and walked onto the landing. I took a couple steps before I completely froze. My best friend was lying on the couch with her crush and they were tangled together, oblivious to the world around them. I almost squealed, but I knew Natsu would hear it because of his dragon senses, so I clamped my hand over my mouth to keep the squeals from escaping. Oh, I need to take a picture of this to show Mira!
"Solid Script: Camera." I whispered while waving my pin through the air. The words glowed brightly before forming a camera that dropped into my hands. I snapped a couple pictures of the sleeping couple before I tiptoed away. I walked down the creaky steps as quietly as I could but I as I reached the last couple of steps, I felt my ankle twist in the wrong direction. I felt a quick stab of pain before gravity began to drag me towards the stairs. I closed my eyes and braced myself for the impact but after several minutes it never came. I felt something warm around my waist and I slowly opened my eyes. My bangs and fallen into my face and I let out a breath of air to get my blue hair out of my face. I glanced up and stared into deep ruby red eyes.
"G-gajeel?!" I squeaked.
The iron dragon slayer had his hands on either side of my hips, keeping me from falling down. His giant frame towered over my much smaller one. His black clothes clung tightly to his body because of the sweat he had worked up fighting with the others. I swallowed hard and I felt my face heat up. He smirked down at me as he helped me to regain my footing.
"Whatcha doin' Shrimp?"
His deep voice sent shivers down my spine. I tried to regain my composure, but between Gajeel's voice and the fact that he was inches away from me, I wasn't able to calm down.
"I-I'm not doing anything!" I said rather too quickly. Gajeel stared at me curiously before taking a deep whiff of the air and he then grinned at me wolfishly.
"So, Salamander finally made a move on Bunny girl, huh?"
"How did you know?"
"Their scents, shrimp. Their all mingled together."
"I thought that I told you not to call me shrimp!" I said whisper-shouting.
"Why are you whispering?" He asked, looking at me like I was crazy. "I know that this could be considered a library shrimp, but you really don't have to whisper."
"Lu-Chan and Natsu are asleep….so shut up Gajeel!"
I slapped my hand over Gajeel's mouth when he opened it to speak again. I death glared at the dragon slayer, mentally daring him to say another word. He nodded in compliance and I led him down the remaining steps. I was about to remove my hand when I felt something warm and wet move across my palm. I looked at Gajeel and I could feel his smirk beneath my hand. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before I screamed.
Lucy's POV:
I was hot. I was surrounded by heat and I felt protected. I was in between a state of awareness and unconsciousness. Just as I slipping into a heavy sleep, I heard a scream. Even before my eyes could slam open, my brain was coming to conclusions. The System had found us and we were under attack. The rebels had started attacking us because they didn't want to help us take down the System. The Magic Council had been tricked by the System into thinking that we had kidnapped the most powerful guilds in Fiore and so now they were attacking. All of those conclusions scared me. I couldn't allow for us to be attacked now. I swung my legs off of the couch and tried to stand up but something constricted around my waist and pulled me back onto the couch. I looked over my shoulder to see a sleeping fire dragon slayer with his arms wrapped around my waist. I suddenly remembered our confessions that had happened earlier and my face began to heat up. I quickly shoved the feeling down. No matter how much I wanted to dwell on the new relationship that I had with Natsu, my first priority was keeping us safe.
"Natsu. Natsu, wake up. Natsu!...NATSU! WAKE THE HELL UP!" I shouted directly into his ear.
He woke up suddenly and fell off of the couch dragging me down with him. I sighed and stared down at the idiot dragon.
"Oww! Luce, what the hell?! I've told ya not to shout into my ear!"
"Well if you woke up after the first three times I called your name, I wouldn't have to resort to shouting!" I slapped his arms until he released his grip on my waist. I scrambled to my feet and ran towards the stairs. I started to descend the stairs but I stopped when I saw Gajeel pinning my best friend against the wall. They' bodies were pressed against each other and Gajeel towered over my friend. His hand rested on her hip and was slowly sliding down. Levy was standing on her tippy-toes in order to wrap her arms around the dragon slayer's neck. I was so shocked by what was happening at the bottom of the stairs, that I said the first thing that popped into my head.
"Gajeel, you better plan on being her boyfriend if you're going to go at it like rabbits in my library."
They sprang away from each other as if the other was on fire.
"LU-CHAN!" Levy hissed at me but I wasn't intimidated, mostly because of the bright blush on her face. And the fact that Levy is so short, she isn't very intimidating. But don't tell her that I said that. Levy can be just as scary as Erza when she wants to be.
"Yes, Levy-chan?" I asked, smiling smugly.
"Why did you say that?!" Levy started ranting and I chuckled quietly. Levy was extremely cute when she was angry. Gajeel sighed in aggravation and picked Levy up by the collar of her dress.
"Let it go Shrimp. Let it go." Gajeel said and Levy immediately stopped yelling. I was going to tease her more when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and a pink headed boy laid his head on my shoulder.
"What's going on? And why are you all so damn loud?" Natsu asked around a rather large yawn. I rolled my eyes and flicked his forehead which resulted in him pouting. I turned back to Levy and gave her a look that asked 'What-did-you-come-in-here-for'?
"The guilds are still training, but I wanted to know if you needed any help strategizing?"
"Yeah that would be great Levy." We smiled at each other and we both managed to get out of the grips of our dragon slayers. We ignored the protests of our dragons as we climbed back up the stairs. I pulled several of my strategy books off of the shelves and dropped all of them onto the table with a thud. I grinned down at my best friend.
"Ok Levy…... let's plan a war!"
No One's POV:
Lucy sat down in the chair opposite to Levy and pulled an old chessboard next to to the large stack of books. Gajeel and Natsu climbed the stairs and they both sat down on the couch near the table where the girls were sitting
"Ok. We are going to meet the rebels and ask for their assistance." Lucy said, eyeing the board.
"Why?" Levy asked.
"Because we are going to need their help to take down the System. Team 0 might be one of the strongest teams in the G.O.G but there are only six of us. We need to keep the guilds safe from the System and we're going to need a lot of manpower to do that. I've set up a meeting with the rebel leader to talk about forming an alliance. The Guardians and I will be meeting them in a forest several miles from here." Lucy took a pawn and moved it a couple spaces forward and Levy did the same.
"There is a good chance that the System will locate us or the Demons might find us. So I plan on having some of the strongest members from each guild be spread out through the forest in groups of six. If any of these groups are confronted by the System or the demons they will send up a signal flare. I'll cut the meeting short with the rebels and the Guardians will go assist each six groups."
"Hey Bunny girl! What about the people left behind?" Gajeel asked, slumping down into the couch.
"I will have a barrier up around the house and the mages not in the group will stay there. If every single mage from all the guilds were out and about in the forest, it would be chaotic and there would be a more probably chance of people getting hurt, lost, or killed."
"That sounds like a bullet proof plan Lu-chan…..but it sounds like this plan is trying to avoid confrontation."
"It is. I want to avoid all forms of confrontation and fighting at all costs because if we are forced to fight the demons or the System..." Lucy picked up Levy's king and placed it on her side of the board. "It's checkmate."
"Why would that be Checkmate, Lu-chan?"
"If we were to engage with the demons the causality rate increases tremendously because all magic except, Celestial, Slayer, Holy Light, and Exorcism magic, is ineffective against the demons. All other types of magic can be absorbed by the demons thus making them stronger. Also if any of you were to fight the System then it can scan you and download you. And that is something that can never happen."
"So now that you have your plan….what's next bunny girl?"
Lucy stood up and smiled at the three other mages in the room.
"We execute it. And anyone who gets in the way of the plan ,whether they are the System, the demons or even the rebels, will be terminated."
Ace's POV:
I marched down the hall of Lucy's house, angrier than I can ever recall me being. I could feel my anger burning away the restraints on the seals of my demon magic. How DARE that empty headed lizards touch and kiss MY Lucy in such away. Lucy deserved better than that simple minded fool. I wanted to run back into that library and tear that moron into tiny bloody pieces. I had to force myself to keep walking away because Rin had warned me about interfering with Lucy's love life. But I want to be the love of her life not that… I slammed my fist into the wall causing several paintings to crash to the ground and the glass littered the floor. Some pieces of glass landed in my hand but I ignored the pain in favor of trying to reign in my anger.
(AN: Ooh...a jealous Ace is almost as fun as a jealous Natsu…)
"Ace?!"
I turned my head and saw my golden haired angel running towards me. She began asking me if I was alright and what was going on. But I couldn't focus on what she was saying. I could only stare at her golden hair that framed her beautiful face. And her beautiful brown eyes that changed tones as she felt different emotions. And her beautiful body that-
"HEY! BAKA DOG FACE! STOP SPACING OUT AND ANSWER LUCE'S QUESTIONS!" A loud obnoxious voice yelled in my ear.
I turned my loving gaze from Lucy and turned to glare at the lizard boy.
"Stop shouting you stupid lizard. There is such a thing as inside voices but you obviously don't possess one, Dragneel." I sneered at the boy and he growled at me.
"Natsu!" Lucy's sharp voice snapped at Dragneel and I thought for sure that she would chastise him. But instead she stood on her toes and planted a soft kiss on his cheek and asked him to go fetch a broom and the first aid kit. The lizard sighed and kissed Lucy on the nose before he walked off to do as she asked. Before he left he turned and looks me in the eye before growling deep in his throat and his body was tense. The message presented was clear, "You touch what's mine and I will kill you." Dragons were always territorial and possessive of their land and their mates. But I could understand why Dragneel is that way with Lucy. If she was mine, I would lock her away and let no one gaze upon her beauty but me.
(AN: Obsessive and possessive isn't he.)
"Ace, are you ok? You know you can always talk to me." Lucy took my injured hand in her small, delicate ones and looked at the damage done to my hands.
"There is nothing we need to speak about Lucy. Have you devised your battle plan?"
"Yes. I am going to go inform the guild masters and in the morning I will tell the guilds."
"Why are you delaying telling them?"
"Because we will be at our destination at dawn and if I were to tell the guilds tonight, some might disapprove and try to talk me out of it."
"I see…" I hesitantly looked up from my hands and looked at Lucy. I didn't to gaze at her long, to my great displeasure, because her lizard came slithering back. Lucy instructed Natsu to sweep up the glass while she bandaged my hands. Dragneel begrudgingly agreed and I couldn't help the smug smile that crept onto my face.
"I shall be calling a Guardian meeting at dawn, so pass the word onto Rin, Shin, Tora, and Taiga." Lucy cleaned the cuts and bandaged them. She tightened the bandages on my hands and smiled. She turned away from me and spoke quietly to the lizard. He grinned and dashed off. Lucy giggled before turning back to me once more.
"Also tell the other Guardians and guilds that they will need their rest so get tell Rin to get them out of the training room. Have a good night Ace." Luce smiled at me once more and began walking away. I wanted to reach out my hand and grasp her own but I restrained myself. Taking Lucy away from that lizard would be difficult but it could be done. But it would take extensive planning, planning that I was willing to do. I walked out of the hallway and towards my room. I would NEVER give up on Lucy. She saved me from the darkness and she was my everything. I wouldn't let anyone else have her.
Natsu's POV:
I dashed through the halls towards the kitchen. Lucy said that she would make me her famous hot sauce cookies if I promised not to attack the stupid dog boy. I decided that I would not slug him in the face for looking at my Luce in such a lecherous way but if he ever touched her…. I would show just how terrifying a dragon can be when you mess with their mate. With that thought, I skidded to a stop. Lucy was my mate? Yeah she was. Lucy was my mate and I wasn't going to let anyone hurt her. And with that decision I continued on to the kitchen. I plopped down on the counter and waited for Luce to show up.
"NATSU! What have I told you about sitting on the kitchen counters?" Luce stomped over to me and glared. I could see the sparkle of amusement in Luce's eyes so I knew that she really wasn't that mad.
"Aww~ But Luce it's fun to sit up here!" I pouted and wrapped my arms around her torso. Lucy huffed but she couldn't stop the smile from spreading across her face.
"Geeze baka….well let's get cooking." Lucy got out the ingredients to make the cookies while I watched her move around the kitchen.
"Hey Natsu, do you think Happy would like some fish cookies?" Luce asked while she started lobbing the dough onto the pan.
"Yeah he probably would and he can give on to Carla even though she probably won't accept it."
"Well then I better make a couple comfort cookies for after the rejection."
I chuckled and jumped off of the counter. I stalked over to Luce and I wrapped my arms around her. I placed my head on top of hers and breathed in the smell of star dust.
"Luce?"
"Yeah?"
"I know we're going to win this fight. And I'm going to keep you safe."
"Natsu...I'm glad that I'm your mate and that you are mine. But Natsu this isn't a fight, it's a war and it's my job to keep you and the other dragon slayers safe. In order to save our world you all must stay safe."
Sorry people that's it for today. I promise that I will try to update sooner.
Supchild has left the building...
