Hello! It's took a while but here we are! Had some many problems trying to post this up you wouldn't believe! but here it is chapter 32! Yay! lol Enjoy!

Elissa stood at the gate of the castle Kallian and Jarvis beside her, along with Ser Perth and his knights.

"Did you hear that?" Kallian asked as she tilted her head.

"What?" Jarvis asked as everyone turned to her.

"It sounds like there's fighting going on behind the gate." Kallian explained as they each looked intensely at the wooden gate, as though they could see through it if they looked hard enough.

Suddenly there was a loud creak as the wooden gate began to shudder; someone was opening the gate on the other side.

"They're opening the gate!" Ser Perth shouted out to the others as they listen to the wood groan as it began to creep up wards, only to come to the shaky stop a foot away from the ground.

"What's happening?" Kallian questioned in a panic as the sounds of the battle going on in the courtyard became clearer.

"Quickly, grab the gate and lift!" Jarvis shouted as he crouched down and began to pull up. The other knights joined helping to open the gateway. Elissa and Kallian ducked in under the gate as soon as it was lifted high enough, finally seeing the battle they had heard. Alistair and Ruari stood to the right of the courtyard attacking a small group of un-dead creatures nearly being over whelmed by the numbers, while Lyna kept switch from her dagger to her bow as she bounced from target to target, her wolf fighting alongside her, attack anything thing that tried to sneak up on her.

Neria stood by the gate, her mabari hound crouched down and guarding her as she struggling with the wheel that opened the heavy door. Elissa now understood why there had been a problem opening the door, as usually two men would be needed to turn the wheel that opened the gateway. She was amazed that Neria was able to force the gate open as much as she had.

They both rushed over to her and began to help turn the wheel; more knights stormed in and began to attack the creatures help fight the group of corpses attacking the small group.

Lyna able to put space between her and the creatures switched back to her bow and started to fire, Alistair and Ruari letting the knights take the lead as they stepped back to catch their breath. "Are you alright Neria?" Killian asked as she stood exhausted from the effort of opening the gate.

"Fine, but I think I've completed my exercise for this year." She replied and she leaned over, hands resting on her knees as she caught her breath.

They both stayed close to Neria as they fought, keeping an eye on the Mage as she recovered enough to start firing small spells. It didn't take long for the last one to fall, leaving them standing in the silent courtyard breathing heavy from the exertion.

"Everyone okay?" Ser Perth called out, receiving numerous grunts and groans in answer.

As they made their way towards the stone steps of the castle, a horrific garbled scream sounded out, as the air seemed to shift and pull towards on spot in the courtyard where a tall, imposing figure appeared. It wore mix-matched armour, grey dead skin pulled tightly across its face, with deep set glowing red eyes. It opened its mouth and let out a high pitched shriek that caused them all to cover their ears and sent shivers down their spines.

"Revenant!" Alistair called as knocked aside a hand full of knights before stooping to lift a great sword and shield. The Revenant wore the armour of the Redcliffe guards, red eyes shining through the helm, as a feral smile spread across its rotted face They began to attack again as more corpses appear as well. The Revenant swung its great sword cutting through two knights and knocking over another three, before it released a wave of magic that knocked half of them to their knees. It raised its sword again to attack Jarvis and Ser Perth, but was stopped when an arrow pierced in to the un-armoured part of its chest making it take a few steps away from them.

As Lyna began to fire another arrow the Revenant shrieked at her raising the hand holding on to its shield and pulling her down so she was dragged along the dirt for a few feet. Neria let lose a freeze spell that didn't seem to do much but slow it down. Elissa, seeing an opening quickly ran foreword, and sliced in to its left side.

Elissa quickly dogged the Revenant next strike ducking under the sword driving her dagger in to its other side, hearing the thud of another arrow, she jumped back to avoid a hit from the Revenants shield, but was not quick enough as the shield collided with her shoulder sending her skidding along the grounds. She looked around quickly to get her bearings, when the Revenant was suddenly towering over her, mouth pulled in to a weird imitation of smile as it raised its sword.

Elissa did not have time to form a final thought before the creature was rammed in to from the side by a blur of silver, as they both impacted with the ground the silver blur rolled away before standing up in-between her and the Revenant. It was then Elissa recognised the gleam of golden hair, Alistair stood in front of her, amour splattered in blood, helm forgotten with blood dripping down from a wound in his head as he snarled at the creature.

The sound of clashing steeling rung out at they both charged to meet on another trying to force each other back while looking for an opening. Elissa noticed a strange blue glow that began to appear around Alistair as he fought, it seemed to seep out of him like smoke. He suddenly pushed the Revenant back and clutched the hilt of his sword with both hands, releasing a wave of blur lights that shook through the air, the few remaining corpses collapsed back in to the earth, and the men effected by the Revenant magic seemed to gain back their strength, as the Revenant fell down to its knees.

Taking advantage of the creatures stunned state, eyes glowing and releasing the same blue smoke, Alistair walked over and raised his sword and cut off the creature's head, body crumpled to dust as it fell.

There was a cheer when everyone realised the fight was over, it took Elissa a minute to see that Alistair was standing over her offering her a hand to stand up. Fighting back a blush, she held her hand out to be helped up. "Are you okay?" he asked as she staggered to her feet.

"Yes, I'm fine thank you." She replied before she collected her daggers from where they had fallen. "What was that?" she asked.

Before he could answer a slurred voice called his name, "Ali- you ass… hole…. Next time- Next time you do dat you better warn me… Assssssssssssssssss." They both looked over to see a very put out looking Lyna with a very unsteady Neria with her arm over her shoulder, half carrying, half dragging her towards them.

"Oh no..." Alistair sighed stuck between being amused at Neria state or worried.

"Not 'oh no' you skirt wearing lyrium stick, you-you templar zapped me….. Dick….. When I wake up with my magic hangover I'm gonna- I'm gonna turn you in to a frog…."

"I thought you said magic didn't work that way?" Alistair asked now completely amused at the mages drunk state.

"I'm gonna ice your undergarments when I wake up." she threatened before her head dropped and she fell asleep.
