Hello everyone! ^^ Welcome back! (You all know my horrible horrible habits by now. I'm sorry... again) I do not own Ouran High School Host Club but I do own Yuuki ^^ For this update, I thank my sister for threatening me intensely to finish it. XD Please Enjoy chapter 10!

It had taken a couple weeks of planning and organizing the beach event, but nevertheless…they were ready to go to the beach. The entire host club, Yuuki included, was on a private flight heading to Okinawa when they finally calmed down enough to chat amongst themselves.

"So…Why Okinawa again?" Hikaru asked, looking to Tamaki for answers.

Tamaki just smiled and answered off handedly, "Because Kyouya's family has a private beach here."

At this, Kaoru pouted a little, "But then why not Fiji? Or even the Caribbean?"

"You really think Haruhi and Yuuki have a passport?" Kyouya interjected, writing something in his file.

"We're right here you know." Haruhi sighed before turning to her female friend, who was staring out of the airplane window, deep in thought.

Yuuki wasn't really paying too much attention to the others, as she was lost in her own thoughts. Well… She WAS until Honey popped up in her face.

"Yuu-chan! Yuu-chan! What do you wanna do first when we get to the beach?!" The blonde boy asked.

Yuuki stared at him for a moment before looking back out the window. "Maybe…just wander a little."

At this the twins jumped into the conversation. "Really Yuuki?" Kaoru asked

"Why not have some fun and enjoy yourself with the rest of us?" Hikaru chimed in.

"I'm not about to let myself be surrounded by girls who are swept up in your host act." The longhaired girl snapped. "Besides, shouldn't you be more concerned about Haruhi?"

At the sound of her name, the shorthaired girl looked at her female friend, confused.

"I mean, she can't change into her swimsuit now that there are clients hanging about right?"

Haruhi gave her friend a look of exasperation. "Throw me under the bus why don't you?"

Yuuki could only smirk and shrug in reply. "You do what you can to get these guys off your case."

"Wait… Clients?" Kaoru repeated before looking at his twin in confusion.

"What do you mean, clients?" Hikaru chimed.

When they arrived at Okinawa, to the surprise of most of the hosts, many of the girls they saw at Ouran were there, excitedly waiting to be in the company of the host club. Kyouya gave the group exactly fifteen minutes to get settled and prepare themselves to entertain the ladies.

All the rushing left the host club with very little time to discuss it among themselves until finally they were out and keeping the girls company.

"It's so beautiful… Tamaki, being alone with you and looking out at the sea, it's like a dream…" one of the girls said as she leaned closer into Tamaki's side with one of his arms around her.

"It's no dream… It's real. But if I could have my way, my princess, I'd be in your dreams every night." The blonde haired senpai told her sweetly as he pressed his forehead against hers.

The girl swooned before finally Kyouya interjected. "Time's up, will the next lady please go up for their special time with Tamaki."

At this, Yuuki made a disgusted face before noticing a beach ball rolling towards her.

"I'm sorry I'll get it!"

At this Yuuki turned to see Hikaru chasing Kaoru… a little too happily.

"Wait for me Kaoru!" Hikaru called as he chased him happily.

"It's not my fault! The ball is rolling away!" Kaoru shouted back, laughing.

Yuuki picked up the beach ball, unable to keep from rolling her eyes at their act. Both twins laughed and ran right past her, despite her holding the beach ball.

"You'd think they'd get tired of this…" the long haired girl sighed as she rolled the beach ball away and walked back to Haruhi, who was sitting under a beach umbrella, observing the other hosts with their guests.

"You'd think, but they don't. I always wonder and never seem to get a good answer." Haruhi sighed as both girls watched Kyouya lead the next girl over to Tamaki for her alone time with him. "This sucks… I thought going to the beach meant having a day off from this…" She continued as she turned to watch Honey-senpai, Mori-senpai, and two of their guests doing some exercises.

"Haruhi!" a girlish voice called from behind her. "Aren't you going to swim with us?" One of Haruhi's three main regular customers asked.

"No…I like looking at the ocean from a safe distance." The shorthaired girl replied a bit awkwardly, smiling all the while and occasionally glaring at Yuuki as she snickered.

"Well if you're not going to swim would you mind if we sat here and talked with you?" one of the other girls asked.

Haruhi smiled gently at this, "But why? You girls should go swim. You've got cute swimsuits on so why not show them off?"

Yuuki sighed as the girls stood there love-struck by Haruhi's words. "I may as well go find something else to do…" the longhaired girl thought as she went back to fetch the beach ball. Maybe she would convince the twins to let her play with them or something after they finished chasing each other around.

As she went towards the beach ball, Hikaru picked it up, both twins having beaten her there. "Man… I can't believe he fooled us." Hikaru complained, picking up the ball with one hand.

"Who'd have thought he'd bring the ladies with us?" Kaoru asked, smiling helplessly at the scene of Haruhi and her fans.

"Well it was definitely unexpected." Yuuki interjected, walking towards them. "Why couldn't it have just been your host club or whatever again?"

"You were invited on this all expenses paid vacation for a reason, and that is to keep our clients entertained. Miss Kaida is also here for a reason, and that was to ensure Haruhi's presence." Kyouya replied from the table next to them as he wrote some data down on his clipboard.

At this Yuuki scoffed, "Like we don't know that Kyouya-senpai. Although I don't see why you had to drag me along into this when Haruhi would have gone even without you taking me."

Kyouya chose to ignore her as the twins side glanced at their senpai, looking a bit defeated.
"But with the ladies here…" Hikaru started, "Haruhi can't change into her swimsuit." Kaoru finished, both looking fairly disappointed.

"Pervs…" Yuuki muttered. Kaoru heard this and smirked a little.

"Don't get us wrong Yuuki, it's not like we don't appreciate you're swimsuit."

At this Yuuki quickly pulled her light hoodie closed to hide her short dark blue tankini top, her swim shorts with a black bow around her waist just barely visible when she zipped up her hoodie. "Just because Haruhi isn't wearing her swimsuit doesn't mean you get to perv on me!" She snapped, her cheeks dusted a light pink.

Hikaru laughed, "We're just being honest, you look nice… For it being such a tomboyish swimsuit and all."

"I think it fits her personality though." Kaoru added, grinning as Yuuki's face got a deeper blush and gently pushed him.

"No one asked you Kaoru! And Hitachiin you just keep your mouth shut!" the longhaired girl exclaimed before turning to join Haruhi under the umbrella.

Kaoru laughed as she left, but glanced at Hikaru, who had stopped smiling and watched her go.

"Why does she call you by name, but calls me by our last name?" Hikaru asked, frowning.

Kaoru turned to look at him, his face unreadable. "Does it matter?" he asked the older twin. But after a few moments of silence, Kaoru continued on. "Maybe it's just to differentiate us? You never know with how Yuuki acts."

Hikaru finally turned his gaze away from the two girls talking to finally look at his twin. "She even let you call her by her first name…" he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "It wouldn't make much a difference if she called me by name too you know." The older twin complained. "Haruhi is definitely more fun to mess with…"

At this Kaoru just sighed softly. "But it would be fun if they were both in their swimsuits…with the ladies here…Haruhi can't change."

Tamaki spoke up from beside Kyouya, reclining on a beach chair. "I've got that part all under control." He said calmly. "My little angel shouldn't be prancing around in a swimsuit. At least not in front of two perverts like you." Tamaki smiled, trying to be cool.

Kyouya pushed his glasses up, "And you ignore her best friend being in her swimsuit?"

The blonde haired boy just waved him off, "She's wearing shorts and a jacket, she's a good example for my adorable daughter." He laughed.

The twins sat down at the table as Tamaki began to visualize him and Haruhi walking along the beach at sunset, his daydream finally escalating to him blushing bright red and squirming in his chair, exclaiming about the best day of his life.

"What's wrong is Tamaki having a seizure?" Some of Tamaki's own clients asked as they wandered over.

The twins relaxed, reclining on the back of their chairs.

"I wouldn't worry about him," Hikaru told them.

"He gets like this occasionally." Kaoru finished.

A little ways away, Yuuki and Haruhi were observing the boys.

"He's getting weird again from what I can tell." The longer-haired girl told her.

Haruhi sighed, "great…" with that, the shorthaired girl stood up and began walking down the shoreline, away from them.

Yuuki immediately stood to follow her friend, quickly matching up to her pace. "Does it bother you that much?" She asked.

"Nah, I just wanted to stretch my legs, I've been under that umbrella for a while now anyways." The shorthaired girl replied.

"If you say so… but how can you be so calm about all this?" Yuuki asked as they walked.

Haruhi opened her mouth to reply, but was cut off by a familiar voice.

"Haru-chan! Yuu-chan!" Honey-senpai called to them, waving his small pink shovel. "Wanna go hellfish shunting?" he asked happily.

Yuuki laughed a bit, "I think you mean shellfish hunting." She told him as she walked closer to them.

Haruhi looked at her friend. "Me being calm? You're one to talk…You go with the flow all the time…" she thought as she followed Yuuki. "But Honey-senpai this doesn't seem to be that kind of beach. You're not going to find many shell…" As her gaze traveled down to his bucket, which was piled high with shellfish, she exclaimed loudly before looking down, seeing this side of the beach covered in shellfish of all types. "What the hell?! No way!"

Yuuki walked over to Mori as Haruhi began gathering shellfish.

"How long have these been here?" She asked him.

Mori glanced over his shoulder and climbed over the rock behind them.

"What's that sound..?" Yuuki asked as she followed him.

As they peeked over, they saw Kyouya's family police force unloading shellfish onto the beach.

"Ah, Mori-senpai, my family's private police force showed up. They wanted to make it up to Honey-senpai for the other day…so they brought shellfish."

Yuuki watched in disbelief for a moment before going back down to Honey and Haruhi.

"Look how many we've got!" Honey exclaimed with Haruhi, who was equally excited.

"We're gonna have some fancy side dishes tonight!" she exclaimed.

Yuuki couldn't help but sweat drop at the sight. "What a glutton… I can't believe she would just- Wait is that crab?" And with that, Yuuki joined them to excitedly examine the crab in their pile.

Haruhi then turned towards Tamaki and called to him happily. "Senpai! Dinner is gonna be awesome! It's a major haul!" She exclaimed, obliviously drawing attention from everyone within range.

"Tell me Haruhi…isn't this crab…crabtivating?" Tamaki asked when he went over, a large crab in hand.

Yuuki shook her head at the pun, but Haruhi just smiled happily at the crab and agreed.

"Can't get between this one and her food…" the longhaired girl thought, watching the exchange between them.

"Oh, a millipede." Yuuki stated casually as it crawled up over the crab Tamaki was holding.

The other girls who had come over stared for a moment before freaking out.

"Cen-ti-pede!" They screamed as they ran away from Tamaki, along with the twins, who were laughing hysterically at their senpais stupidity, and Honey, who was just having fun running away.

Yuuki watched, amused as Haruhi turned, plucked the bug from her delicious crab, and tossed it away without a second thought.

Both twins came up behind them, a bit exasperated. "Hey Haruhi," they chorused,

"Now I know most girls aren't the bug loving type, and I certainly didn't think you or Yuuki were but," Hikaru started, causing Yuuki to look slightly annoyed.

"Don't you think you could have been a little easier on that little guy?" Kaoru finished, glancing at Yuuki, registering her expression before looking back at Haruhi.

"Oh come on you guys," Yuuki snapped, "It's not dead, it takes a lot more that to kill a bug."

Both twins stepped away from Haruhi as the girls began to crowd around her for her manliness, and made their way toward Yuuki and Tamaki, looking less than amused. "Well isn't that just great?"

"You two aren't normal, I thought girls were afraid of bugs." Kaoru told her.

Yuuki scoffed, "Stereotypes everywhere with you boys, huh?"

"I'm sure she's afraid of something…" Tamaki pondered, his mind still on Haruhi and Haruhi alone.

At this, both twin grinned, getting an idea. "Hey Boss! Listen up, we just thought of a new game to play that could be a lot of fun." They spoke in sync, their excitement showing. "It's called the who can find out Haruhi's weakness game! So, think you're up to it?" They grinned mischievously.

Yuuki face palmed as Tamaki looked flustered, "but that game sounds terrible…" the blond haired started.

"Yeah guess you're right," Hikaru began as he walked away with Kaoru, "Besides she would only share her weakness with someone she was really close to."

At this Tamaki gasped and called after them, "What are the rules?!"

Both twins turned, grinning at their success in goading their leader into playing. "Now that's more like it!"

"The deadline is sunset tomorrow," Hikaru stated.

"Whoever finds out Haruhi's weakness by then wins." Kaoru continued. "And you get bonus points if you find out Yuuki's weakness too. She is Haruhi's best friend after all." The younger twin laughed.

"And I have the perfect prize for the games lucky winner." Kyouya cut in, showing off pictures of both Haruhi and Yuuki in middle school during different events, three of only Haruhi, three of only Yuuki, and one of both of them, making seven pictures as the prize.

Yuuki stared in shock, unable to comprehend any of this. "I am right here you know." She told them, too surprised to actually sass them. "Where did you get those?"

Honey and Mori then butted in, Honey happily exclaiming they wanted to play too.

"I guess that means we're all competing, minus Yuuki of course." Kyouya stated, moving the pictures continuously away from Tamaki's view without too much fuss.

Honey paused and looked at Kyouya, "Hey wait a minute, where DID you get those pictures of Haruhi and Yuuki?" he asked curiously.

Kyouya just smiled, "I have my sources, how about we just leave it at that for now?"

Yuuki stared at them. "No way." She shook her head. "Thanks but no thanks, you guys will never figure it out. For either of us!" She snapped, finally shaking off her shock.

And so the game began…

Yuuki and Haruhi were following the twins into a cave with two other clients of theirs.

"This is the place," Hikaru told them as they ventured in. "It's the most haunted spot in all of Okinawa. The locals don't even come out here."

Kaoru followed behind Haruhi and Yuuki, continuing the story, "They say that the only time you can even find this cave is at low tide… Evidently, many people have died down here from drowning."

As the twins continued their story, their two clients clung to each other, terrified, while Haruhi and Yuuki just stood there, barely even listening. Haruhi just looked at them blankly while Yuuki looked around with a disinterested look on her face.

Kaoru continued, trying to make spook intonations with his voice. "And their souls still linger, taking revenge on anyone who happens to come inside!"

Hikaru pointed up towards the wall of his cave with his flashlight, "Look!" To the twins' credit, a shadowy figure with purple eyes was there, laughing menacingly.

Yuuki watched as Hikaru tried to place a fake 'scary' hand on Haruhi's shoulder. "What's going on?" the shorthaired girl asked, unimpressed. "Are you guys trying to freak me out?"

At this Yuuki laughed at their lame attempt. "So cheesy… I've watched way more impressive horror movies than what you guys were trying to pull off."

Kaoru sighed, holding up the fake 'ghost', "What's wrong with you two? I thought everyone was afraid of ghosts."

Haruhi just looked at them, smiling a bit. "But I've never seen a real one before."

"And I enjoy the horror genre, so I find these things interesting, not scary." Yuuki snickered.

Phasmophobia (fear of ghosts): Failure.

Later on in the day, Honey called out to both Haruhi and Yuuki from the back of the police services truck. "Haru-chan! Yuu-chan! Would you come over here?" He called to them cheerfully.

Both girls stared in apprehension at the truck.

"Is it alright to drive a truck like this on the sand?" Haruhi asked as she was coaxed into the back with Honey.

Yuuki climbed in as well and stared at both Honey and Haruhi. "This is… new."

"We're ready whenever you are private police people!" Honey announced, placing his hands on his hips in an attempt to look more official. "Please lower the door!"

The police people saluted Honey and closed the back of the truck.

It only took a few seconds for Honey to be the one to panic, forcing both Haruhi and Yuuki to attempt to calm him down. Honey clung to Haruhi as Yuuki knocked on the door, asking to be let out because Honey-senpai was having claustrophobia.

Claustrophobia: Failure for the girls, success for Honey.

Yuuki sat away on one of the rock ledges as Mori pointed a sharp harpoon at Haruhi, exhaling softly. "Lucky they were there with me." Yuuki muttered.

"Lucky who was with you?" A familiar voice asked from behind her.

Yuuki turned to look and see one of the Hitachiin twins sit down next to her. "Nothing, Hitachiin twin #1" she exhaled harshly. "Why don't you guys just give it a rest?"

Hikaru frowned, "The challenge is what makes it fun." He snapped stubbornly.

The longhaired girl side glanced at him before shrugging, "If you say so… Where's Kaoru by the way? It's unusual for you two to be apart you know."

"He's with Kyouya-senpai." The older twin spoke shortly. "Why do you always ask for him..?"

At that, Yuuki sat up straighter, "Rude much? You guys are practically joined at the hip, what's wrong with asking?" She looked straight at him, but her bangs were in her eyes again.

Hikaru clicked his tongue and reached out to sweep her bangs a little to the side so her eyes were more visible. "Are you even a girl? How can you see with those things in your eyes?"

"Are you going to avoid the question by insulting me or are you going to be mature and answer it?" Yuuki asked him flatly, undeterred by his jab at her femininity.

The older Hitachiin twin paused for a moment before narrowing his eyes. "Why do you call Kaoru by name, but not me?"

Yuuki, a tad bit surprised, looked directly into his eyes, deep blue meeting amber. "I didn't think it mattered to you."

Hikaru's gaze didn't waver as he moved her hair to behind her ear, his face still holding his annoyed expression. "It matters, because we have to be on the same level, Kaoru and I."

The longhaired girl's cheek turned pink for a second before brushing his hand away and standing up. "If that's all, then you should just stay Hitachiin twin #1."

"Hey, I just said-"

"Kaoru asked to be on a first name basis because he wanted me to be his friend. Is that what you want? Hikaru?" Yuuki asked as she glanced behind her. "You're such a child."

With that, she walked away towards Haruhi, leaving Hikaru sitting on the rock wall.

Hikaru watched her go, his irritation showing even more, "Who's she calling a child? She's the immature one!" he spat out. "Why does she always have to piss me off?!"

"Who's immature?"

Hikaru looked up to see his twin settle down beside him, smiling a little.

"You know, maybe you should be nicer to Yuuki, then you two might be able to get through a conversation with insulting each other." Kaoru suggested.

"Who cares? We don't need her." The older twin snapped.

Kaoru stared at his twin, " But you know… she is trying. Have you noticed?"

"Noticed what?"

"To get along with you." The younger twin smiled as he said this. "In her own weird way."

"Whatever…" Hikaru sighs, waving away the idea. "I thought I could get her weakness out of her, didn't work." He leaned back and sighed, "Man, this game is harder than I thought it'd be."

Kaoru stared at his twin for a few moments before sighing, letting the older twin steer the conversation away from the topic. "No joke, I'm totally bored with it already."

Hikaru stared at the ocean. "What kind of people are they? They have to be afraid of something right?"

Both twins sighed as they gazed out into the ocean.

Meanwhile, when Yuuki had walked away from Hikaru, she was calm as can be, but she couldn't help but ponder a few things as she walked down the shoreline towards one of the higher elevated rocks.

"Why can't we just have a normal conversation? Just once, it'd be nice." She mumbled as she walked past Haruhi, who was collecting more shellfish for that night's dinner.

On a whim, she chose to walk up one of the large plateau-like rocks, not noticing that she had caught the attention of two trespassing locals.

When she got to the top, she noticed three of Haruhi's regular customers up there are well. Despite them being hesitant to greet her, she smiled softly and dipped her head, greeting them politely, to their surprise.

Yuuki closed her eyes and let the wind blow against her skin, relaxing a bit and paying no mind to the girls who had noticed Haruhi below and called out to her.

"Hey there are chicks up here man!" A very unfamiliar voice called out.

Immediately, Yuuki tensed and whipped around, watching as two men walked up, tossing their beer cans aside.

"Aren't we lucky?" the man laughed, "You girls wanna hang with a couple of locals?"

Yuuki immediately went in front of the girls, not even thinking twice. "No thanks," she told them warily.

One of the girls stepped forward trying to be polite but still cautious. "Please, just leave us alone."

One of the men grabbed the girls wrist, "aw come on, we just wanna show you girls how to have a good time?"

Yuuki was having none of it, she slapped the mans hand away, making sure he let go of her. "This is a private beach." She told them coolly, making sure the girl ran away, past both men. "You guys are not allowed to be here."

"Private? Does this mean we're alone?" The other man asked as he snuck around and grabbed the other two girls.

Yuuki glared and aimed to punch the guy in front of her. "Leave us alone. We aren't interest."

It was all too easy for the man to grab her wrist and pull her close. "Whoa there, feisty ain't ya?" The man grinned slyly as he leaned closer. "I'll teach you about what a real man feels like."

The longhaired girl refused to humor him, looking at him with disgust as she tried to pull away.

Suddenly, the man tossed Yuuki away to the ground in shock as he cried out, grabbing at his own back frantically.

He turned to see Haruhi holding her now empty bucket; her shellfish having been thrown at the bigger mans back.

"Why don't you quit bothering them?" Haruhi shouted, glaring at them. "Weren't you jerks listening? You better just leave them alone."

Yuuki's eyes widened. "This idiot…" she thought in panic, immediately getting up to help her friend, ignoring her protesting legs and arms.

"You little runt!" The man who had shellfish thrown at him shouted as he grabbed Haruhi by the shirt.

Yuuki wasted no time to hit the man in the side. "Let go!"

"You just stay over there!" The man yelled as he shoved her towards the edge of the rock, causing her to stumble right at the edge.

"Yuuki!" Her shorthaired friend shouted, reaching for her with one arm.

The man dragged Haruhi by her shirt towards the edge of the rock, by Yuuki. "What are you gonna do now loser?!" he shouted as he held her towards the edge.

One of the girls held by the other man cried out for Haruhi while the man just laughed. "Not so tough now huh?!"

Yuuki, to her credit, barely managed to balance herself without falling.

"I got an idea kid…How'd you like to take a dip?!" And with that, the man shoved Haruhi out over the edge. "Hope you can swim!"

"Haruhi!" Two voices cried out, one being Yuuki and the other being Tamaki, who had rushed to the scene thanks to the girl who had ran away earlier.

Yuuki reached for Haruhi in a desperate attempt to catch her before she fell into the water, but had lost her footing and fell as well. However, she managed to catch a ledge a little below the top, and pressed against it, her cheek getting scratched up from her awkward maneuver.

She watched helplessly as Haruhi fell in, but was relieved when she saw Tamaki dive in after her. "She'll be okay…" Yuuki thought as she looked up. "Now I have to help myself…"

The longhaired girl reached up for the top, struggling to pull when she felt a hand grab hers.

"Give me your other hand." Mori instructed, staring down at her calmly.

Yuuki gasped softly and hesitated for a moment, before finally letting go of the rock to use both hands to hang onto Mori's arm, who lifted her up with ease.

"Thank you-?!" Yuuki started but then panicked when he lifted her up. "Hey what are you-!?"

"You're covered in scratches." He told her simply as he turned around, revealing the twins beating the two men and Kyouya just watching idly, every now and then commenting about how he should probably pull them off, but not lifting a single finger to do so.

Yuuki watched, catching Kaoru's eye in the process, who gave her a concerned look before continuing to beat the guys.

"Is Haruhi…?" Yuuki started, worried.

"Tamaki has her." Was Mori's simple reply.

When they all gathered at the shoreline, Tamaki was carrying an unconscious Haruhi to shore, his expression worried.

"Haru-chan!" Honey cried, seeing her.

As Tamaki stopped in front of them, Kyouya placed a dry shirt over Haruhi.

"Where'd they go?" Tamaki asked, his voice unusually serious.

"We took their ID cards and respectfully asked them to leave." Kyouya told him. "The girls all went back to the hotel and I've called a doctor."

Yuuki sat up at this. "A doctor? I don't need a doctor." She protested

"I'm with Yuuki… I'm fine you guys, I don't need a doctor." Haruhi spoke, finally awake and sliding out of Tamaki's arms.

Tamaki looked at Haruhi angrily. "What were you thinking..? You know, you're not like Honey-senpai, you're not a martial arts master." He gently took held her by the shoulders. "Why did you confront them? What made you think you would stand a chance? You against two boys?" his voice was low and deeply upset.

Haruhi looked him in the eye, unwavering. "But it doesn't matter that they're boys and I'm a girl, I was there, I had to do something-"

"That's no excuse you idiot!" Tamaki shouted. "Don't forget, you're a girl!"

Yuuki opened her mouth to say something, but Mori stopped her with one look.

"Look, I'm sorry that you had to come save me senpai, but I don't understand why you're so mad at me right now." Haruhi spoke coolly. "I don't think I did anything wrong!"

At this, Tamaki dropped his hands from her shoulders, "You don't think so? Fine, whatever you say. But I'm not speaking to you until you admit that you were wrong!" He told her angrily as he turned his back on her and walked to the estate.

"Mori, I can do this myself." Yuuki told him, embarrassed as he gently lifted her leg. "You should go help Honey-senpai with dinner."

Mori continued to disinfect and bandage Yuuki's scratches despite her small protests.

"After you've been taken care of." He replied brusquely, placing another bandage on her knee.

Yuuki stared at him for a moment before sighing harshly. "I don't need taking care of Mori-senpai. I'm a big girl, I can do this myself."

At this, Mori paused his hands halfway done with bandaging her legs. "Is that so…?" With that, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her arm.

"That hurts!" Yuuki cried out as she resisted the best she could. But she was no match for Mori's strength. She soon found herself inches from his face.

"You can't even pull away with your own strength." The older boy told her, his eyes never wavering.

The longhaired girl bit her bottom lip in frustration before ripping her wrist out of his grip, but she knew he had let her do it. "I can! I'm fine by myself."

Mori gently cupped her cheek, gently running his thumb over her scratch. "Then explain this."

"Battle scars." Was her immediate reply.

The dark haired senior sighed before moving his hand on top of her head, ruffling her hair. "You'll learn." He told her patiently before getting up. "I'm going to help Mitsukuni."

With that, he walked out, leaving her in the room.

Yuuki looked down, staring at her bandages and sighing. "He overdid the bandages." She muttered as she stood up and got changed into her pajamas, which was just a plain black shirt and fitted sweatpants.

When she finished, she headed down the hall to the dining room, taking her time getting there.

As she entered the dining room, she came upon the rest of the host club, minus Mori and Haruhi.

"It's awfully gloomy out there huh?" Honey asked Kyouya, looking out the window. "It looks like it's gonna rain."

"It's not just gloomy outside, it's gloomy in here as well." Hikaru sighed, gesturing to Tamaki.

"Just take a look at senpai." Kaoru stated, looking away from their depressed leader huddled behind a pillar.

"Oh, quit moping Tamaki-senpai." Yuuki snapped as she walked in, stopping to stand by the table, eyeing the platefuls of crab. "You shouldn't have picked a fight with Haruhi in the first place."

Tamaki glanced up at Yuuki, about to say something to her when the doors opened once more, revealing Haruhi dressed in a long pink nightgown, with Mori behind her.

Everyone immediately surrounded the shorthaired girl.

"Haruhi where did you get that dress?" the twins asked, their voices in sync.

Haruhi sighed and shrugged. "From my dad, he must have repacked my bags when I wasn't looking… He's always trying to get me to wear this frilly stuff."

Both twins held two thumbs up. "That's awesome! Way to go dad!" They praised smugly.

Yuuki smiled, proud of her best friends cuteness, but then scoffed when she noticed Tamaki staring from behind his pillar at Haruhi, wanting to compliment her. "Well then…shall we eat?" She suggested.

When they took their seats, everyone was uncomfortable. The twins and Honey made their awkwardness known, while Kyouya continued to write on his clipboard and Yuuki sighed, trying to focus her attention on the crab in front of her.

"Who's idea was it to let them sit together..?" Seemed to be the single thought of everyone as they all glanced at Haruhi and Tamaki, who just so happened to be sitting next to each other.

"W-Well… Lets dig in everybody." Honey announced nervously.

It was a few minutes in, but Haruhi had plowed through most of the crab in front of her, giving him biting remarks when he even tried to talk to her.

Yuuki sweat dropped, watching the exchange before looking around at the other host members, unintentionally catching Mori's eye.

Surprised, she looked down into her food, while Mori did not look away, his attention focused on her cheek, which had gone untreated so far. But this small exchange did not go unnoticed by the other four host members. Hikaru frowned at the sight and immediately turned back to Haruhi and Tamaki's quarrel, why everything Yuuki did bothered him, he didn't know. Yet.

After enough biting remarks towards Tamaki, he finally slammed his napkin down on the table.

"Okay fine, I get it. It seems that you refuse to admit that you were wrong." Tamaki told her evenly, his face looking a bit annoyed. "See if I care then, I'm going to bed."

As he walked off, past Mori who was eating a whole crab, body first without much effort, he glanced at Kyouya. "Kyouya, would you show me to my room please?"

"No problem." Kyouya replied as he got up, "Well, excuse me everyone." And with that, he followed Tamaki out.

Yuuki watched the whole exchange as she ate before turning her attention directly to Haruhi, who looked clearly bothered once they left.

"Maybe he's right…maybe I do need to learn a way to protect myself…" Haruhi sighed softly.

Both twins leaned forward, resting their heads on their hands. "So that's it, he got to you huh?" they spoke together.

Yuuki looked directly at Haruhi. "It wouldn't kill you to learn martial arts or something…" She pointed out.

Hikaru glanced at Yuuki, giving her a look that obviously said 'you're one to talk'. "But it's not like we're going to force you or anything." He added, turning his attention back to Haruhi.

"Besides, that's not the real issue here." Both twins voiced.

Hikaru looked at her seriously. "To be honest, we were all a little worried. About how recklessly you acted."

Haruhi looked confused, "What do you mean..? I didn't cause you guys any trouble or anything…"

The twins just shrugged and looked at each other, while Yuuki smiled a little. "That's not it Haruhi." She started.

Honey smiled adorably at the shorthaired girl. "I think you should apologize, kay? You made us all worry." The blonde haired boy looked at the rest of them for a moment before his gaze went back to Haruhi. "Especially Tama-chan, I think you need to apologize to him the most."

"You were all worried about me..? But why?" Haruhi asked, genuinely confused.

The twins and Honey all sighed, while Yuuki couldn't help but laugh. "You're hopeless."

The shorthaired girl looked down, remorseful. "Guys, I'm really sorry."

The three of them hugged her, nuzzling her in instant forgiveness.

Mori just kept right on munching his crab while Yuuki looked on.

"She can get away with almost anything." The longhaired girl laughed.

Mori glanced at Yuuki and looked as if he was about to say something when he was called.

"Mori hurry! To the nearest restroom!" Kaoru called, supporting a pale Haruhi.

As he speedily carried her off, Yuuki sighed. "Too much crab huh..?"

Kaoru looked at Hikaru, "I'm going to help Honey-senpai clear the table, you take Yuuki to her room." He told his older twin, smiling.

Hikaru stared at his twin in shock. "But-"

"Please Hikaru?" Kaoru asked, pouting a little, which was enough to make the older twin give in and agree.

"I could help clean up." Yuuki offered to Honey, who quickly refused and began gathering up plates.

"Don't worry Yuu-chan. Kao-chan is helping me." He told her smiling.

Both Hikaru and Yuuki hesitantly left, not noticing Kaoru and Honey watching them go.

"Kao-chan, you keep giving them opportunities to be alone." Honey said once they were gone.

Kaoru looked at Honey, smiling a little. "Because I think they would be great friends if they spent enough time with each other…"

Honey looked skeptical, "But what if turns into something more? Or, what if they don't want to be friends..? Yuu-chan talks to all of us, which is a lot better than when we first met her sure… But we still don't know that much about her." He spoke to the younger twin honestly.

Kaoru sighed, "Hikaru is clumsy…and Yuuki is…defensive. But maybe…This will be good for both of them." The younger twin couldn't help but smile a bit, "I've gotten to know Yuuki a bit better, she's a good person, she just doesn't understand how to be openly nice unless it's Haruhi."

"I hope you're right Kao-chan…" Honey spoke worriedly. "I hope that they become very good friends then…"

After that, the two cleaned up without any more words on the subject.

When Hikaru and Yuuki had left, there was a noticeable gap between them.

"Hey, so what is your weakness?" Hikaru asked, turning to look at the longhaired girl.

Yuuki just shrugged, keeping up with his pace. "Don't have one. So drop it."

"Come on, everyone has a weakness." Hikaru walked closer to her. "Just tell me already."

"No. Drop it Hikaru."

"Please?"

"No." Yuuki's answer was swift, without a second thought.

Finally, Hikaru stopped walking. "Bet if it was Kaoru you would tell him." He snapped, crossing his arms.

Yuuki stopped a few feet ahead of him, not fully realizing he had stopped until a few seconds after. She whipped around, raising an eyebrow. "What does Kaoru have to do with it?"

"You've gotten pretty chummy with him."

"Because we're starting to be friends." She replied patiently. "Duh."

Hikaru frowned, "And Mori-senpai?"

At this, Yuuki placed her hands on her hips, "Okay, that came out of nowhere. And who are you to ask about my relationships?"

The older twin just shrugged, "I think I'm entitled to know who my toys hang out with." He walked towards her nonchalantly.

The longhaired girl narrowed her eyes. "You know what-"

Just then, the lights to the hallway went out, making Yuuki freeze.

"Oh please no." She thought with dread.

Hikaru was unphased, "What?" he sighed and scratched the back of his head. "You know what, I think this is far enough. You can get to your room from here. I'll see you tomorrow."

Yuuki shivered a little, unable to really see Hikaru but hearing him walk away.

"Wait…" She spoke quietly. "Don't…leave."
She didn't know if he was that angry or if her words had been drowned out by the oncoming thunder, but she didn't hear him walk back to her.

Yuuki squatted down, folding her arms on her knees and hiding her face in them. "Don't leave me in the dark alone…"

What felt like an eternity for her was only a minute at most for Hikaru, who hear her voice, but not what she said.

He didn't know what made him do it, but he turned around and walked back to her.

"Hey, I was joking, come on." He spoke, looking around in an attempt to spot her in the darkness. The older twin just managed to brush his hand against her head, not realizing how close he was to walking into her.

"Yuuki..?" He called gently, feeling a bit weird for calling her by name on his own. "Hey…"

Hikaru squatted down by her when she was unresponsive, a flash of lightning illuminating the hallway for a second through the window, revealing Yuuki's face.

Her eyes shut tight, trying to hold back tears and her hands over her ears.

"Are you…afraid of storms..?" He asked slowly.

She shook her head slowly, her shoulders trembling.

"S-Sorry…" She choked out. "I'm sorry…"

Hikaru frowned before gently pulling her to her feet by her upper arms. After that, he wasn't really sure of what to do with the trembling girl.

Finally, it hit him.

"Hey… are you afraid of the dark…?"

A moment passed before she began to shake her head, but quickly changed her mind and nodded once slowly.

"I...hate being alone…in the dark…" She admitted.

Hikaru sighed. "What are you…four..?" He halfheartedly grumbled before taking her hand and leading her down the hall.

They didn't speak for the rest of the time, with Hikaru even leading her into her room and settling her on her bed.

"Hey…" Hikaru started, making her look up at him, blue eyes once again meeting amber.

"Don't do anything stupid like what you pulled earlier. No one said it, because you didn't fight with anyone like Haruhi did, but it was still reckless." He scratched his head awkwardly.

Yuuki smiled a little. "No promises…" She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them. "Those kind of situations…There isn't any time to think."

The longhaired girl looked up at him. "But I'm sorry for worrying you…and the others too… But Haruhi is the one you should worry more about."

Hikaru sighed. "Right…" He turned and pulled out his phone. "Here."

Yuuki took it and looked confused, but turned it on regardless. "What are you giving me your phone for?"

"For light. And if you need to call anyone." Hikaru sighed. "Kaoru is probably wondering where I am, and I don't know how Haruhi is."

At that, Yuuki smiled a little. "Right…Of course. You should check up on them." She looked at the wallpaper of his phone then back at him. "I'm fine now…thanks."

The older twin stared at her, expression unreadable for a moment before sighing and turning his back. "Well this information will be for my personal use." He stated nonchalantly, his hand on the door handle.

"You mean…you aren't gonna tell anyone?" She asked, sounding surprised.

At that, Hikaru turned and smiled at her, despite her not seeing his face, but he could see hers, lit up by the pastel blue light of his phone.

Something about her expression made him change his mind about his reply. He decided not to be sarcastic or snippy.

"No. I won't tell." He told her seriously as he opened the door. "Get some sleep. "

And with that, he left her in her room.

Yuuki listened for his footsteps before looking down at his phone, unable to resist a little smile.

Her thoughts wandered for a moment before she gasped. "No no no no… oh please dear god no."

The blue-eyed girl thought for a moment, afraid to voice her thoughts out loud. "Am I…attracted to Hikaru..?"

She looked out the window, surprised to see the clouds parting to show the full moon.

"It's a full moon tonight…Maybe that's why I'm thinking these weird things…" Yuuki forced herself to conclude.

There was no way that she was going to end up liking anyone, especially not Hikaru, who was much too childish and saw her and Haruhi only as toys.

"But…we are also…becoming friends." She admitted, wrestling with her thoughts.

"No, no stop right there. That's all you get. You don't deserve those kind of things right now. Think anymore about it and you might just start liking him more or something."

Yuuki sighed and laid down, holding the phone open with the light on, deciding to hide the thoughts away in the back of her mind until she was ready to think about them on another day.

Unfortunately for her, she didn't notice that someone else had been at the door, and had heard almost everything. The dark haired sempai said nothing nor did he make any move to knock, and chose to just walk back down the hall.

The next morning, Yuuki was told briefly what had happened (or what the rest of the host club members had seen) between Haruhi and Tamaki.

"You better watch your back Haruhi." Hikaru told her as she got into the limo.

Kaoru leaned against his own luggage for a moment before loading it up. "I never would have pegged the boss as an S&M type."

Yuuki looked at Tamaki, smiling for a moment to give him hope that someone was on his side, then going deadpan. "Pervert." She told him as she walked around to where the twins were standing.

"Hey Hikaru, you left this in the sitting room this morning." Yuuki told him as she placed his phone in his hand. "It's fully charged and everything, so don't worry."

Hikaru smirked, "You didn't snoop through my things did you? You may be just as bad as the boss."

Yuuki rolled her eyes. "I may have left a little memo in there, but don't worry too much. You're secrets are safe with me."

With that, she got into the car next to Haruhi while Hikaru flipped his phone open and clicked on his memos curiously.

Kaoru looked at Hikaru curiously. "What'd she put?" He asked

"Just a stupid threat to reveal my deepest darkest secrets." He told him sarcastically, flipping his phone closed. "Come on lets go."

Kaoru let Hikaru in first, smiling secretively since he had seen the message. He had also noticed he had saved it instead of deleting it.

It was a simple message, but it was still interesting that he had chosen to save it.

As Kaoru got in, he wonder why Yuuki had typed 'Thank you, Hikaru." in the first place, but Hikaru would probably tell him in time. They were twins after all.

The younger twin looked at Yuuki, who was chatting with Haruhi, both acting as if nothing had happened.

He vaguely wondered how long both girls could keep acting like nothing ever really happened between themselves and the rest of the host club.
