I'm back! France was pretty awasome and we managed to get the people next door to let us borrow their WiFi but it was like one bar and kept fading every ten seconds so I wasn't actually able to update or read any fanfiction but I managed to get on my emails and read all the reviews so thanks Santanalover16, MusicFlowsWithin, BumbaMumbaJimJams, 'Guest' and Pippa3OneDirection(finallyxxx)
Chapter 4: Reaping
The next morning Santana wakes up to find herself wrapped in-between Brittany and Alice. She looks up and, seeing that everyone else is asleep, untangles herself and walks into the choir room where Kitty stayed with her kids all night. Kitty is still asleep but the twins are sat up in bed listening to Marcus telling them a story he's made up
"Mami are you crying?" Ella asks
"No baby"
"Then why are your eyes red?" Marcus questions
"Are you okay?" Sky says innocently
"I'm fine Sky." Santana lies "Do you guys want Brekkie?" Sky and Ella nod and reach up to be lifted which Santana does, balancing one on each hip before turning round so Marcus can climb on her back. Santana walks into the kitchen to see that since she left, Quinn and Puck have woken up. Quinn sends her an 'Are you okay?' look which she nods to before sending Puck a 'Don't say anything if you want to keep your balls' glare.
"What do you want for breakfast?" Quinn asks the kids as Santana puts them down before turning to Santana "Is Lucy up?"
"No, all the other we're asleep" She reassures. Suddenly cries radiate through the building, causing two others to start up along with a scream of "Daddddyyyyy!" Quinn walks out to get Lucy as the rest of the adults walk in except Blaine, Tina and Joe who are getting their kids.
"Mami loud!" Sky says, hands over her ears. Ella is doing the same thing but sat on the floor, Santana and Brittany scoop up one each before sharing a quick kiss and yet another 'Are you okay?' look. Santana notices that a lot of those are getting thrown her way.
The crying gradually stops as all the parents bring their babies in.
"God only knows what Kitty was doing" Tina says
"Sleeping probably" Puck tells them
"Well she isn't there now." Blaine announces
"She was there when I went in" Santana tells them. She hates the way everyone stops to look at her. I mean jeez, she just joined in with a conversation.
"I'll go see if I can find her." Puck tells them, walking out.
Puck walks in a few minutes later with his phone in his hands.
"She broke up with me."
"What? Why?" Sam asks
"I don't know she just texted me that she never liked me" Puck looks really disappointed. He'd really liked Kitty.
"That's not true." Quinn tells him "I see the way she looks at you"
"Maybe I'm out of her legue"
"You've been together a year." Joe points out
"Yeah but she's five years older than me."
"Maybe she had a reason but she couldn't tell you so you wouldn't get hurted." Marcus tells Puck sincearly. Puck thinks for a second
"You are a smart kid." He tells him
"Thanks!"
…
"Hello and welcome to the reaping of the first annual American Hunger Games!" President White says through the loudspeaker. Santana is the only one in a roped off area meant for the glee club. She looks around, others, like the cheerios and football team have five or six but she has one. Her. "Now, as I already said, none of you people out there know what this is so I'm going to be picking out from the previous victors of the games. Although, this time the tributes last names will not be mentioned. We find it makes them to personal." Oh well, your only killing them aren't you? The balls are in different orders to the McKinley ones. Football is first,
"Bruce!" Bruce, he's twenty nine years old, in his prime and he won the games in his Junior year.
"Keira!" He calls out from dancing. Keira is in her twenties, she won two years after Santana because of her amazing hand to hand combat skills
"Ben!" Comes out of the Hockey ball. Also young and fit, he won in the years between Keira and Bruce.
He calls out the rest of the names in rapid fire before stopping at the glee ball where he fumbles around before finally snagging up the only piece of paper that practically everyone knows has Santana's name on it. When calls she steps up onto the stage, proud and strong. If she's going to die she's going to be herself. The President stops at the last ball which is the cheerio's one and pulls a name out
"Kitty!"
Santana gasps. No way, that's Pucks new-ex-girlfriend. The Kitty who was in the same room as her not five hours ago is going into the arena where Santana has a one in twenty-three chance of having to murder her.
...
Now I bet that was one thing you guys were not expecting. Hehehe. I wasn't expecting it either. I randomy thought of it when I realised that if Kitty was in the room then she would have stopped the kids from crying so yeah...
I'm proud of myself because I thought of all the tributes names with out using the internet or asking anybody. Or just going round my maths class and using all their names like I originally wanted to do. You'll find the others out next chapter.
