So now we get to see what happened to the others!

It took three days for Dylan's fever to finally break, and another day of rest before he was ready to travel. Kallian had travelled back with the mages to Redcliffe, and now the four of them seemed unable to find a boat that would take them back.

"Sorry, no ca' do, the frost will be coming soon and we all need ta get as much fish pulled before the lake half frozen." The fisher man explained to Neria and Ruari.

"But Redcliffes only half a day sail away, and we will pay you." Ruari reasoned.

"We've already lost near three days worth of fishing thanks to cartin' youse lot about, so unless you've got more than five gold sitting in your purses your outta luck." They all sighed as they watch the fisherman retreating back.

"How much money do we actually have?" Dylan asked.

"Not enough to get us a boat any way." Neria said as she kicked at the dirt.

"Three gold, forty silver and 2 coppers." Ruari answered.

"Well, doesn't look a bad day for a walk." Dylan's tone was sarcastic as he looked up in to the overcast sky.

"It's a three days walk, thankfully the supplies that the Irving gave us should last us that long, but we'd better start walking."

The first day of travelling passed uneventfully; Lyna noticed that Neria spent a lot of the time walking regaling Dylan of the events of the past few weeks, though she failed to mention the mage they had found in the Redcliffe.

Ruari seemed unsure how to speak to her, with Neria speaking rapidly to Dylan, he mostly walked beside her and the wolf, Lyna herself did not really know how to sustain a conversation with the human so they mostly walked in silence save for a few passing comments about the surround scenery.

Neria must have noticed the silence between the two for the next day she kept drawing them all in to various group discussions about everything and anything the Elven mage could think of. It was during a story of where Neria fear of cats came from, an elaborate tail about Templars and a cat in the tower, that a woman appeared in the road.

"Oh, thank the maker!" she cried as she ran towards them. "We need help! They attacked the wagon; please help us!" not waiting to give more of an explanation she ran back in the direction she had come from. "Follow me! I'll take you to them."

They followed the woman down a small hill, two turned over wagons could be seen as the reached the crest. "This does not seem right." Lyna muttered as the slowed their pace. Her ears picked up the quite twang of string before she grabbed Dylan and pulled him away from the arrows path.

"It's a trap!" she shouted as she began to fire her own arrows. The quickly ran and dived for a group of small boulders, to avoid the spray of arrows. Footsteps quickly sounded as Dylan let loose a spray of fire that blocked the road to them.

"So, what now?" Dylan asked as arrows keep flying over head.

Lyna quickly studied their surroundings. "If you and Neria can keep attacking them from here, I can get rid of the archers up there," she pointed in the direction of where the arrows where coming from, "Once their gone you will be able to come out and fight." Nodding Neria and Dylan began to fire various spells at those that were stupid enough to come in to range, while Lyna snuck around the far side of the stones and climbed up in to a nearby tree. She took out four of the five archers in quick succession, running hidden in the high branched of the trees before dropping down on top of the finally one.

The others jumped out from their hiding spot, the mages firing spells with Ruari charged into the fray. Lyna quickly fire arrows at anyone who got too close to the knights back.

She felt someone ram in to her as she was knocked sideways, her last shot going wild, her bow left her hand as she collided painfully with the ground. She quickly threw up her hand stopping the oncoming dagger aimed for her heart. A loud snarl could be heard as the wolf tackled the man and made quick work with its teeth and claws.

Lyna suddenly felt a tight grip on her hair and she was pulled back, a fist connecting hard with her cheek sending her sprawling. She saw a flash of metal as her attacked brought his sword down, only for it to be stopped by a second.

Ooo! who is it that saved Lyna? also Zevran is showing up soon!
