((Big apologies for not updating in 4 months. I know some of you must be really annoyed with over this. Thing was, got blocked by my internet provider again, so I couldn't update :( I am university now, and I may not be able to update too much, but at least the site is unblocked now. Again, really sorry. ))

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Amy was mad. Her eyes were wide and her lips clamped shut hard before she could scream a hundred profanities a minute at Sherlock. They stood outside the Tower of London, surrounded by men and military vehicles. "You broke into U.N.I.T!"

"I know." Sherlock wasn't all phased. In fact, he looked rather pleased with himself. If he hadn't of been caught, he would have pulled off a great break-in. He was still handcuffed and held back by one very authoritative man.

"Why the hell did you do that for?"

"I was investigating."

"What?"

"You." He continued before she could answer him. "I saw you leave with that Doctor of yours and I decided to follow."

"You could have just waited back at the flat. I would have explained everything."

"I like finding things out for myself." He smiled a tiny bit and after he searched the area. "I can't always rely on people to explain things to me. They don't always tell me the truth. Where is he?"

"Who?"

"Your friend."

"Oh," she said and nodded. "Collecting something." They stared at each other briefly before she laughed lightly, shaking her head. "You are such an idiot, Sherlock." She playfully punched his arm, an action he didn't quite know how to respond to. "Why didn't you just ask to come with us?"

He didn't give her an answer, but instead he gave her a question. "How can you get access to a military base?"

"How do you think?" Her brow arched and she folded her arms. "The Doctor has connections with U.N.I.T. I think he used to work here once, a long time ago. He's kind of like their expert, sometimes, when they need help."

"Expert in what, exactly?"

"You were in there half an hour ago, you should know if you did your detective work properly." When he looked at her quizzically she gave him the answer. "Aliens."

Of course, he was expecting that answer, and he had remembered very clearly what he had heard during his time in there. He just wanted to hear her say it.

"They really do exist, Sherlock," she added. She figured that he was a 'seeing-is-believing' type of person. If he stuck around long enough he would soon see and believe. "Come on then, tell me. How did you break into U.N.I.T?"

Sherlock glanced over his shoulder at the man who was keeping him securely in place, then flicked his gaze back to Amy and modestly shrugged. "It wasn't difficult. I will tell you later."

"What about telling us now?" piped up the guard behind. Several attempts had been made to get that information out of Sherlock. Each attempt had resulted in nothing apart from Sherlock's arms being pulled back even further behind his back than they already were.

"Let me put it this way, sir," the detective began, smugly, "you need better security. Hire better guards and fit a better system. Use better codes."

"Sherlock, stop it," muttered Amy.I swear to God, if he starts showing off again, I will kick him.

"I'm sorry, Amy, but I can't lie."

"Aha, of course you can't. Sherlock Holmes never -"

"What is that?" Sherlock started scanning around when a wheezing, groaning sound could be heard. With every second it grew louder, accompanied by a gust of wind. Amy knew exactly what that meant. Knowing that Sherlock didn't, she smirked. This is going to be fun, she thought, watching as the TARDIS eventually eased it's way into sight, light flashing on top like a pulsating star. To Amy, Sherlock seemed mind-boggled, almost gawping which was a funny sight. Was he speechless? If so, that would be the first time during the small months that she had known him. She could definitely have fun with that.

"I wont be long," called the Doctor towards his companion after leaving the TARDIS and walking off with the blonde woman, Kate Stewart.

"He's off to collect Kaos, or Alexander Harvey, and then we're taking him back to where he belongs," she informed Sherlock. He was pre-occupied by the blue box that had appeared right in front of him. How did that do that? Since when did police boxes materialize out of nowhere like that? That's not right. That's -

"Amazing, yeah?" Amy hoped he was impressed. She grinned, loving his astonishment.

It wasn't long before the Doctor returned from the historic building with Kate Stewart, this time with the alien as well. It snarled viciously in the form of Harvey Alexander while struggling to get free. "Are you ready, Pond?" he asked, approaching her.

She nodded. "I'm cold."

"I did say bring a coat."

"You know this man?" inquired Kate, glancing at Sherlock, then at the Doctor and Amy.

"I live with him," Amy said. "Sorry. I didn't know he was going to do this." She gave him a sharp frown.

"Can you make sure that he keeps away from U.N.I.T in the future?"

"I can't guarantee th-" Sherlock began only to be cut off by Amy.

"Yes. He won't step a single foot in U.N.I.T unless he's allowed to."

"We will need to talk to him. I'm sure he understands that everything here is classified."

"I don't think there's any need for that," interrupted the Doctor.

"Doctor, I am sorry but he needs to be questioned and -"

"No he doesn't."

"What he said," added Sherlock, annoyed that everyone was talking about him right in front of him.

"U.N.I.T regulations state that -" Kate started arguably.

"Oh, I know what U.N.I.T regulations are," sighed the Doctor, "but tonight is not the night for them. I'll talk to Mr Holmes here. I can assure that he meant no harm. Now, if you could uncuff him and hand him over to me I'll be ever so grateful. I've got things to do."

The Doctor had worked his persuasive charm. The guard released Sherlock of the handcuffs and pushed him towards the Doctor. After a few stern words from Kate Stewart, the Doctor said: "You can rely on me," and he made for the TARDIS, the shapeshifter lagging behind, bound together so that he could not escape.

Amy started following. Only then did she notice that Sherlock was still stood exactly where he had been before. "Are you coming or what?"

"We're not all going to fit in there," he replied, incredulous.

"I bet you ten pounds that we will."

"I bet you twenty that we won't," he responded with a smug smirk.

She went over to him, grabbed his hand, pulling him to the TARDIS in excitement. Reaching the door, he stopped. Amy started going inside, then stopped with half of her body outside of the door, watching as he examined the wood. "Come on."

In she went and Sherlock frowned. It was only a wooden police box. Nothing special about it at all. It was normal wood and normal paint - he knew which paint it was, as well. Yet he had seen it appear in front of him from nowhere. That was when he realised that things weren't all that they seemed. He had been skeptical about Harvey Alexander being a shapeshifter, but after seeing an ordinary box made of wood appear in front of his own eyes, well, he knew he couldn't be skeptical about that at least.

Finally, he went inside to be greeted with a scene that should be impossible. There were orange and green lights and there was a glass floor and science-y noises, but hold on! Bigger on the inside! Something like this should not exist. It went against everything he knew. Science stated that something like this was not yet possible, might not ever be possible. But there it was. His mouth didn't fall open like most people's might have. He was shocked, but more than that, he was intrigued. The evidence was right in front of his eyes and he wanted to know how, why and when.

"You okay?" Amy asked him, bounding the steps to greet him with an explosive grin. "Oh, and, ten pounds?" Her thin brow arched cockily.

"This is wrong..." he murmured, mainly to himself.

"Wrong? It's not wrong, Sherlock. It's just not...expected."

"No, no, no, this is wrong. This can't be right... This is... science I have never seen."

She simply chuckled and went off up the steps again, towards the console. The shapeshifter was angrily sat on the leather seat. Amy was certain that if his hands hand't been cuffed he would surely be ripping the chair to shreds. "The Ordo Prison then?"

The Doctor, who was rushing around the console, peered up from his work for a split second. "Yup. And then we'll stop off at Kadia and return their diamond. I've just remembered I've got a destructive diamond on the TARDIS. If this isn't a smooth flight the diamond might break and we'll explode, along with a quarter of the universe. Isn't that exciting?!"

"Not really." She stepped back to allow him to flick switches and press buttons next to her.

"If it does explode," snarled the shapeshifter, "make sure it explodes in the Ordo Empire." The green glow of the central column made the shifter look gruesome.

"There will be no explosions if I can help it," the Time Lord responded. "And I thought I told you to be quiet." After pulling one final big lever, the TARDIS halted. The Doctor forced the shapeshifter up onto his feet. "Home, sweet home, my friend."

Amy was on his tail. Then, reaching Sherlock again, she smiled. "Are you going to stand there or are you coming with us?"

"Where?" He had been too busy examining the place, working things out, trying to answer his own questions.

"Out there." Her head tilted in the direction of the door.

"The Tower of London?"

"No, a space prison."

"Don't be - you're suggesting we've moved?"

"Did I forget to mention that it's a time machine and spaceship?" She laughed. "You can stay in here if you want, but I don't know how long we're going to be. Who knows with the Doctor? But if you want to see for yourself..."
