A/N: Hey, finally got this chapter done, sorry it took so long, but I went on a holiday (Shorter then it was supposed to be, but oh well). Thank you for reading, and also thanks for the lovely comments, and for those that followed or favoured my story, or um... borrowed characters, my idea. Also, I tried my best with checking over my story, but there are sure to be mistakes, so sorry for that as well.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading!
The femme at the stood stood with a stern expression on her face, looking back and forth between Prowl and her daughter. Her lavender arms were crossed and her light blue optics narrowed. "Well, whose sparkling is that. I hope it's not yours and Prowl's, Ivy." The elder femme said with a chuckle, as her expression changed to happy. Prowl took note that it changed just as fast as her daughters, "Or did you and Prowl start taking up sparkling sitting." She continued on making up jokes as she went.
Prowl's jaw dropped, shocked beyond belief. This was not happening, she didn't really think that they... did things. "
"Mum!" Ivy said with embarrassment, "Prowl is my friend, I would never do such things with him." Her face was flushed, it was bad enough that it was bad to have children at such a young age, but it was even worse when you are accused of such a thing. Dear Primus, now she knew why Prowl's friends left him, not that she would say that out right. But damn, why is everyone so... She doesn't know, but everyone always jumps to conclusions.
"Mrs. Dawnlight, I would never do such things to someone who is like... Ivy."
Ivy's grey optics narrowed. "What is that supposed to mean?"
Prowl glared at the side of his friends face, "Nothing, I don't mean it personally, but we have to convince your mum." He whispered harshly.
"Right, of course." Ivy coughed gently. "Mum, Bluestreak-"
"So that's it's name." Said Dawnlight as she got closer to her daughter and her friend.
"- IS NOT my child." The blind femme continued harshly at the interrupted of her mother, but softened her voice. "He is Prowl's child-" Ivy gasped at what she had said.
"Prowl has a child," The older femme said, looking towards the black and white Praxian at the same time. "So... Whose the father of the thing."
"Mum!"
"I would rather not talk about him." Prowl said stiffly, turning away from the optics of the older femme. A cry was heard and Prowl walked over to the tiny berth where an even tinier sparkling lay, tears rolling down his cheeks. The older Praxian sighed and picked Bluestreak up, bouncing him up and down trying to quieten his cries. Once the older femme leaves he can feed his sparkling, but Bluestreak is going to have to be patient.
"Such a Disgrace! You have a child, but you haven't even finished school. Have you even thought of how much this... Thing can affect you in schooling? Did you even think of the cost of this child? I know you have money, but you could be spending it on better-" The older femme starting ranting at the young mech, but was cut off by another voice.
"What is going on here?" said a soft voice, those in the room snapped their heads towards the voice. A green plated femme stood with a concerned expression upon her face, looking back and forth from the older femme in the room and the two younger bots.
A disgusted grunt left Dawnlight as she looked towards the green femme "Serenity, my dear. You realize that your child here, is well, a mother? And also that he is only 16 years of age. Still living in the learning part of his life."
"Of course."
"And you know that is a Disgrace to your family."
"I'd rather you didn't say such things and if you would, please leave."
The lavender femme looked back at Prowl and the sparkling he held in his arms, before she huffed, calling her daughter to follow her and leaving the room. Both Prowl and Serenity heard the talk down stares, Dawnlight made sure that everyone knew how much of a disgrace Bluestreak is.
"I'm so sorry Prowl, I never meant for this to happen." Ivy said, holding her arms close to her chest. "I really didn't want-"
"Ivy! We are Leaving!" Yelled Ivy's mother.
"You must go, your mother is calling." Prowl stated to his friend, pulling Bluestreak closer, rubbing his back to calm down his cries. Ivy nodded, turning around and saying goodbye to Serenity, before laving herself.
It was quiet for a while, leaving Prowl more stressed as the minute went by. The sound down stares gone, everyone must of left after Dawnlight's news. "Prowl."
"Yes." The younger praxian walked towards his berth, his back towards his mother.
"I don't think I can do this anymore." She said.
Prowl huffed, he was tired of everyone saying how hard done by they are and none of them think of how much trouble he has been through, it wasn't easy having a child at his age. "What do you mean?"
"This, I can't keep going through with all the whispering and disgust others have on their face when they look at you or Bluestreak." The green femme's voice strained, as if she was holding in sobs. "It's just too much, Bluestreak is ruining your life. You don't have many friends, everyone treats you like you committed the worst crime, and you just walk around like everything is okay." The sobs that were being held in, broke out. Serenity's doorwings low on her back, as she tried to muffle her cries.
"You think it's hard!" Prowl's voice filled with sadness. "Bluestreak has to be the best things that I have ever had and I would go through everything I have been through again and again just so I can have Bluestreak with me!" Prowl's voice growing louder after every word, anger started to slip into his voice.
"Prowl! You can ruin your whole life because of Bluestreak, Do you like being alone and bullied every day?" The green praxian questioned.
"No, but I would give everything for Blue, I would hate myself for my whole life if something happened to him." Prowl argued.
"Prowl, Bluestreak can't stay! I want what's best for you, and Bluestreak is not it." The femme screamed, trying to get through to Prowl.
"No! He's my child, you can't take him!"
"I can!"
Those two words stopped Prowl's world, he knew she could take Bluestreak away. Just tell the enforcers that he did cruel things to Bluestreak and he would be gone like that, no say at all. And that thought almost ripped Prowl in half, sobs now leaving Prowl. He couldn't believe he was having this fight, why she couldn't understand what was special about Bluestreak.
"Get out." After those words were said, the femme left the room with a glare on her face, slamming the door behind her.
"When did she change? You are a great sparkling Blue, why would anyone want to give you away?" Prowl whispered through his sobs to Bluestreak, lying down on the berth. Trying to sooth Bluestreak's cries for energon, "Sorry Blue, I'll feed you later, please try to rest first." Prowl rubbed the grey sprakling's back.
Bluestreak's cries quieted down to little hiccups, he was just tired and couldn't be bothered to cry anymore. He he slowly slipped into sleep, with a soft hum from Prowl. Soon after, Prowl fell into sleep, tired himself from all the yelling and crying.
Prowl was woken up by his door opening, a moan escaped him as he tried to sit up and see who entered his room. "Whose there?" Prowl asked in a quiet mumble.
"Hello Prowl." Said a deep voice, but Prowl knew it right away. Sitting up from the berth and waking up Bluestreak in the process, Prowl smiled at the mech who was standing in front of him.
"Father, what are you doing here? When did you arrive?" Prowl's smile though left his face when he heard Bluestreak start crying.
"I got some energon for you and Bluestreak," Said a black mech, giving a cup of energon to Prowl. Though when he tried to give the younger Praxian the lighter blue energon that was in a bottle to Prowl, it almost fell out of their hands. "Here, give me Bluestreak and I'll feed him while you drink your own energon." A nod from Prowl was all he needed for him to grab Bluestreak and cuddle him to his chest, holding the bottle to the sparkling's mouth.
Prowl watched his sparkling with a small smile, taking sips out of his own cup. Looking back up towards his father, he soon remembered the questions he asked but never got answered. "Father, when did you get here?"
A chuckle was heard. "I arrived here about an hour ago, I was going to attend your mother's party. But, when I arrived, no one was here. So, I asked Serenity, and she told me that you two had a argument?"
The younger praxian sighed, "I know, but she was going to take Blue from me. I don't know why she said such horrible things, what happened? She used to love Blue." Prowl stared at his father through the dark room, only a pair of blue optics gave light in the room.
"Your mother is just scared for you, I have heard some cruel things that have happened to you." The black mech said.
"I realize that, but I can handle it. And I'm not completely alone, I have a new friend and I am still friends with Ivy, just not her family." Prowl argued.
The older mech sighed, shaking his head. "Prowl, your mother has been-" He laughed. "Do you want to hear a story on how Serenity and I met?"
Prowl nodded, curious on how his parents met. He was told a basic story of them meeting in High School and becoming friends, which just involved into more. What else could there be?
"Okay, Your mother and I met, as you know, in High School. This was when we were still in Praxus, your mother was a very beautiful femme. And a lot of mechs, and femmes liked her. Of course, this all changed when everyone found out that she was sparked." The older mech paused, waiting to hear what Prowl had to say so far.
"She had to go through what I went through, I heard that it was much harsher back in those days." Prowl said.
"You would be correct, everyone avoided her like she carried a virus. All her friends left her, her family used to hit her for punishment-"
"How would you know that?" The black and white mech asked.
"She used to come to school with scars and bruising." The black mech answered. "Now, because of this, I decided to talk to her, she was still beautiful in my optics. And I didn't agree what he others were doing." He continued, looking down towards Bluestreak. Seeing the sparkling done, he took the bottle away, and cuddled the sparkling to his chest, giving him a kiss on his tiny red chevron.
"And?" Prowl asked, waiting for the rest of the story.
"Ops, sorry. Was just admiring Bluestreak, I have never seen him before, makes me feel bad that I wasn't here when he arrived."
"It's fine, but please, continue."
"Of course," Prowl's father smiled, "A few weeks later, I decided to confront her. I met her when she was in a park, it was late, so there was very few around. This was the first time I have ever spoken to her, I was extremely nervous, a babbling mess you could say. But it made her laugh, and oh my, she had the most beautiful laugh I have ever known." The older mech chuckled at the memory.
"But it was then, that I noticed that she had been crying. When I asked why, she told me that she was a murderer. Of course I was confused, asking what she had done, she told me that she had an abortion. I was completely shocked, but she continued saying over again that she couldn't handle the bullying and being alone, that the sparkling was a mistake." The older praxian sighed, lowering his doorwings.
"After that day, the bullying got so much worse, others calling her a killer and sparkling murderer. Such awful names, it got so bad, she left school and the only time I saw her was when I went over to her house to talk to her. After a few years, I fell in love with with her. Even after all she had went through, all the things she did. I loved her, she was so kind and though she hides it behind a serous face, she is the nicest femme I know."
"Soon, we both got bonded and left to Iocon, when you came along. Your mother was so afraid, scared of what others would think, but nothing like that ever happened. She soon found out that a sparkling was a time of joy and she should cherish the moment. When you were born, she was so excited and happy to have you she would lay down with you for house, humming to you as you sleep." The mech again smiled at the memory.
"When we found out you were sparked and the bullying started, your friends leaving, your mother got scared. She would talk to me over the comunication system saying how much she feared for you." He paused for a moment. "Now, I know your mother has said some cruel things, but it was out of fear and concern. Having the family leave and say horrible things to you must have been too much for her. Her way of getting rid of problems and to get rid of what started it, and that means Bluestreak."
"But it's not her problem, and I am fine, I still have friends and I'm not alone." Prowl insisted.
"Then maybe you should talk to her."
"I tried!"
"I said talk, not yell and scream at each other, talk. Talk about your fears and come to some... Conclusion." The older mech then stood, giving Bluestreak back to Prowl and giving them both a kiss. "Good night, and don't forget to talk to your mother."
Prowl nodded, then asked. "How do you know that she will understand?"
Prowl's father thought about what to say, "She will, it you talk to each other." He then left the room.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Prowl yelled, but his father was too far away to hear. Prowl's thought about what had happen to his mother and what his father did, soon he thought about how Jazz had done a similar thing, thinking how he defended him and told him he believed he deserved to have a chance made his spark flutter. He wondered if his relationship would turn into something his parents- No, don't go that way, Jazz was just a friend to him, nothing could ever come from it.
Then, prowl layed down, cheaking the time and seeing how late it was. Tomorrow was a day off from school, so he could take a break. And he might even get time to talk to his mother about all this, he didn't want to ruin his relationship with her. Sighing, his sytems soon cycled down and he fell into sleep beside the sleep Blustreak.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I want to tell you that after the next chapter, or the one after, I am going to start writing with gaps in time. I will tell you if it's a few weeks later or even months or days, but I don't want to right this daily or else this story would go on for ever.
Again, thanks for reading!
