"Ez…!" I clenched my eyes was I started to come back too.

"Vez!" That sounded like Jet, but that can't be right. He didn't come with us to Tenrou Island.

My eyes fluttered open and I noticed I was laying stomach down on the ground. I used my arms to prop myself up but as soon as I sat up I was tackled.

"Vez!" I let out a yelp as felt two people hugging me.

I looked down and saw Jet and Droy?! But they looked older and Droy was a lot bigger than I remembered!

"What the hell?! Jet, Droy what are you guys doing on Tenrou Island?!" I yelled out in shock.

"And why are you guys so different looking?!" I asked, freaking out a bit.

"Hey, they found Vez!" I looked up just in time and my eyes widen seeing Max, Warren, Alzack, and Bisca running towards me.

"Woah, wait slow down..!" I yelled but to no avail. I was once again tackled and I twitched as I felt all of them hugging the life out of me.

I was also confused at why they were all crying. They're acting like they haven't seen me in years but we've only been gone for a week or so. What's with them?

I stood with the others in shock at seeing First Master Mavis in front of us. Mavis had just finished explaining that she basically saved us and Tenrou Island from Acnologia's Roar. What shocked us more was that seven years had actually passed.

That explains why Jet, Droy, Max, Warren, Alzack, and Bisca were all crying. Because they thought that we were all dead.

"So the First protected us huh, that's a sight." Gramps stated.

"No...I'm just an ethereal body. Technically you should be thanking Vez." I tilted my head in confusion while everyone else turned to me.

"I bestowed Vez the knowledge of Fairy Sphere, she was the one to cast the spell that protected everyone. I just converted everyone's strength into magic and gave it to Vez. That unwavering faith and bonds will bring even miracles to your side." Mavis explained.

Mavis then let out a sincere smile, "It's become a wonderful guild, Third." Mavis stated and then she vanished.

"That's incredible, that was really First Master Mavis?" Lucy asked in shock.

Gramps nodded, "Yes, that was definitely her. It seems if it wasn't for her, we really would have perished." The rest of us nodded in agreement.

"Well what are we waiting for?! Let's head back home!" Natsu announced.

"Yeah!" We all cheered and pumped a fist into the air.

Smack!

I sent one of the guys standing in the guild hall flying through the wall with one punch. Natsu had already beaten the crap out of the other guys. Bisca did warn us that we weren't in the same guild hall as before. I felt terrible of what Fairy Tail went through for those seven years. Hopefully one day, we can do something for them.

"We're back!" Natsu announced with a grin. I let out a the same grin and that's when I noticed Romeo standing in front of us in awe.

"Hey Romeo, you've grown kid!" I exclaimed and held up a hand as a greeting. I saw Romeo start to get tears in his eyes.

"Welcome back! Big bro, big sis, everyone!" Romeo said and gave a teary eyed smile.

Hours after the tearful reunion we decided to celebrate with an old fashion Fairy Tail party.

"So you're Fire Wizard now, huh Romeo?" I asked interested. Romeo nodded and lit a orange flame in the palm of his hand.

"Uh huh, I can also use different type of flames." The flame then changed to blue and I could feel the cold that the flame let off.

"Wow, cold flames." I said in awe.

"I don't think I've seen fire change color like that before." Lily stated.

"Yup, I even have purple fire like my dad and this smelly yellow fire." I gagged at the smell of the yellow flame and so did Natsu.

"Ah, put it away! That stuff stinks!" I yelled and pinched my nose.

"Sorry big sis, I forgot how sensitive your nose is." Romeo stated and the flame disappeared.

I let out a sigh in relief and unplugged my nose.

"But why does that magic seem so familiar." I sweatdropped.

"Idiot, are you forgetting about Phantom Lord's Elemental Four? Totomaru had Fire Magic like that." I stated and crossed my arms.

Romeo nodded his head, "Yeah, don't tell my dad but I've been taking his magic lessons." That surprised me.

"He's teaching now? That's pretty cool." I stated.

"Who knew." Gajeel said grinning.

"Man this brings me back! I still haven't eaten all the different color of flames he has! Maybe I should come with you next time?" Natsu cheered.

"Sorry bringing anything up about you or big sis is taboo." I let out nervous chuckle and scratched the back of my head.

"Figures." Happy and Tyrus chorused.

"Yeah, we did beat him up pretty bad didn't we?" I said chuckling.

That's when I felt something skim against my back. I stopped laughing and sat up straight. I looked behind me and I caught a glimpse of Laxus walking out of the guild hall. If I had to guess, that was him discreetly getting my attention.

I looked back at the others who were too deep in conversation to notice. I got up and followed Laxus outside. I exited the guild hall and looked around. I furrowed my brows not seeing a trace of the Lightning Dragon Slayer.

Just when I was about to turn back and go back inside the guild, I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I felt myself get pulled over to the corner of the guild that was covered in a shadow.

Knowing who it was, I quickly turned around and wrapped my arms around Laxus' torso in a hug. I felt the arm around my waist tightened and he placed his other hand on the back of my head.

I felt him lean the side of his head against mine, "I'm glad you're okay." He said softly.

I let out a small smile, "I could say the same thing." I replied softly. We stayed like this for what seemed like forever, just embracing and knowing the other was still here. That was what we only really needed.

No P.O.V

"You gotta admit, Master. It's always nice to see young love." Gildarts spoke quietly, with a smile on his face seeing the Fire and Lightning Dragon's hugging.

Makarov kept his stern gaze, he still wasn't happy about Laxus showing up when he was exiled. He finally let out a sigh and a warm smile grew on his face.

"Yes...it is. For some time there I thought that boy would never find someone that would cherish him. Even after all the bad he's done, Vez has only seen the good in him." Makarov stated.

Gildarts grinned as his eyes focused on the pinkette, "Over the years, I've noticed both Natsu and Vez have this uncanny ability to see past someone's facade and know the real person behind that mask."

"I've noticed those gifts as well. Igneel, truly did raise those two to have the purest of hearts." Makarov stated.

"I bet if he could see them now, he would be one proud parent." Makarov nodded in agreement.

I lazily looked up at the clouds in the sky as I leaned against the side of Laxus' body. We decided to go into East Forest to just relax. Right now we were both resting against a tree.

"Hey Laxus."

"Hm?"

"Now that we're back...what are you gonna do? You're still exiled." I asked softly.

I felt Laxus use his arm that was behind my waist, pull me closer to his side.

"Don't worry about that. I'll deal with it. I'm not going anywhere, alright?" He said calmly and kissed the top of my head.

I let out a sigh, "Everyone else has already forgiven you, why can't Gramps?" I said frowning.

"The old man's stubborn in his ways. I hurt Fairy Tail, badly, and in his eyes it's not something to be forgiven for so easily. I don't blame him either, what I did was stupid and I hurt a lot of people. Including you, Vez. You have no idea how much that ate me up inside the first few months of my exile." Laxus informed.

I tilted my head to look at him for that, "You're just now feeling bad? You've been doing that to me for all I've known you." I retorted.

Laxus rolled his eyes, "What happened to the whole, it's in the past thing?" I playfully glared at him and elbowed his side.

"Shut up." Laxus chuckled, then he smirked.

"You gonna make me?" He teased, and leaned in closer to my face.

"Get rid of that smug smirk and maybe I will." I teased back, narrowing my eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I let out a yelp as he play tackled me to the ground without warning.

I was about to question why he did that but that stopped when I felt him crush his lips on mine. I returned the kiss the best I could since he had my arms pinned above my head.

That's when I suddenly felt jolts of lightning prickling the skin on my arms. I let out a gasp in surprise and Laxus just chuckled at my reaction. Laxus broke off the kiss to meet the glare I was sending him.

"You really had to do that?" I asked, and again he just chuckled.

"What? You mean this?" This time lightning sparked around his entire body. I clenched my jaw, holding back the sound that wanted to come out.

"I don't know why you're complaining. You seem to like it." Laxus teased with a smirk on his face.

I glared at him once more, "That trick won't work all the time if you keep using it." I warned him.

Laxus' smirk grew, "So you admit that you liked it." I gave him a deadpan look. He chuckled and pecked me on the lips before sitting up and pulling me up with him.

As he pulled me up I felt my scarf unravel from my neck and land on the ground. I went to pick it up when I felt Laxus' hand rest on my right shoulder.

"When did you get that?" Laxus asked with an edge to his voice.

I looked down to the scar that I had gotten from Cobra. "Oh that? I got from fighting another Dragon Slayer. His name is Cobra and he was part of the dark guild called Oracion Seis. Wendy healed the wound the best she could, since Dragon Slayers can easily leaves scars on another." I informed, picking up my scarf.

Laxus opened his mouth to say something but then, "Vez! Where are you?!" I turned my head hearing Natsu's voice.

"Tch, talk about bad timing." Laxus muttered. I gave Laxus a look as I wrapped my scarf around my neck and stood up.

"Vez, come on! We got a job!" Natsu yelled again.

"I better get going before he screams his head off." I informed as Laxus stood up as well.

"I'm surprised he hasn't done that already." Laxus then bent down and gave me a quick chaste kiss.

"Be safe out there." He said quietly.

I nodded, "I will." I said and walked over to where I heard Natsu yelling.

"Vez!" He yelled again.

"I heard ya! I'm coming!" I yelled back. I walked out into the clearing to see Natsu with Lucy, Happy, and Tyrus.

"About time! Come on, we're gonna go on job! Just the five of us, like old times!" Natsu said grinning.

I smiled, "Alright, let's get going then."

"Aye!" They all yelled.
