Chapter 20: What Have You Done to my Sister?!
We left early morning and headed towards Spring Burrow early next morning. We took a beaten, but familiar path, through the all too familiar, Spring cave. This time there was a miner. He remembered me, but it seemed the son of the gym leader wasn't there. He explained to Cell what had happened and told us that the Wizards never came back. In about an hour he had us on the other side of the cave, headed towards Spring Burrow. Cell had been asking me questions on what had happened inside the cave when suddenly I spotted something in the air, through my goggles with my aura vision.
"Cell do you see something in the air, over there?" I asked cutting him off suddenly. I pointed towards the sky.
"No, why do you ask?" he questioned.
"I see something coming this way." I said, taking out a Pokeball with Eevee.
"Well what do we do?" said Cell panicking a little.
"We give each other distance, that way whatever that thing is, can't do harm to us at the same time." I said. I realized whatever was headed towards us had a really angry aura." And it doesn't look happy."
"Shouldn't we get running?" asked Cell.
"Good point but, that thing is going to be here in a few seconds, though. Whatever it is, it's fast."
Cell took out his Pokeball and brought out Sableye. "We better get ready to fight."
"What's going on?" asked Sableye bored. His shoulder slumped and his head tilted to the left.
I released Eevee onto the field.
"What's up?" asked Eevee, appearing onto the field ready to fight. "This better be more than another sneasel."
"It isn't a Sneasel," I said. I focused more and the aura took more shape. It was like squinting in a way. Then I realized its shape as it got closer. "Noo…" I gasped in disbelief.
"What?" asked Eevee and Cell.
"I think, it's Latias. No. It's not. Her Aura is like that, but it's not her." I said.
"Who is it then?" asked Cell.
"Is it her brother?" I asked.
"Yeah as if it we'd know." Sableye said sarcastically.
It dove at the ground and turned speeding towards us like a missile, only faster.
"It's close!"
"Where is it?!" asked Cell.
"It's coming, duck!" I shouted.
I threw myself back for extra time and landed on my back, Cell did the same. The thing flew over us.
"What are the Wizards sending us live missiles now?" asked Eevee sarcastically. Who didn't need to duck, since she was so short.
"That's not exactly funny." I muttered getting my feet.
I turned around and immediately was speared to the stomach by the object.
"Uh..." I croaked as I was taken off my feet and the invisible missile pinned me to a tree.
"You got my sister captured." Hissed the voice of a guy. I could feel it's telepathy in my head, but unlike Latias' it wasn't soft, comforting or happy. This guy had the presence of screamo music blaring in your ears. It was pure anger, and hate. It let me touch the ground with my feet and grabbed me by my hoodie collar. "You're going to die here, but that's after you tell me where sister is."
"I'm being honest, we got ambushed…" I croaked. I knew it had to be latios, who else could it be?
"Lies!" shouted the Latios in my head, loud enough to make me want to cover my ears. He knocked me straight into the tree behind me. I could feel a bruise swell behind my head upon impact.
I could feel sharp claws along my neck, three to be exact.
"Which way would you like to die? By my breath or my claws?" said the Latios.
Suddenly Eevee knocked into him with Return. He let go of me and was pushed away, but he was still levitating about a yard away, to my right.
"C'mon we've got to get out of here!" shouted Eevee.
"I can't, we can't there's no way we can outrun a latios." I said.
"Don't you dare run!" said the Latios, it closed in on me in a second and had me by my collar. Again he picked me up off my feet. "I just thought of a better way of killing you. How about I drop you?"
I was suddenly lifted a full yard into the air.
"Humans are so fragile, yet they use Pokemon like tools." Said latios in my head.
"I didn't use your sister." I croaked. He dropped me. I landed on all fours and said," We were ambushed, she tried to warn you to leave. I stayed back and held back the other people."
Latios grabbed me again and hefted me twice as high in the air.
"I won't let you!" shouted Cell. "Sableye what can we do?"
Sableye simply shrugged and said," I dunno."
"What umm… Use confuse ray!" shouted Cell.
"I don't know that move." Said Sableye casually.
"Anything!?" asked Eevee from below me. "Look pal, let Roukou, I mean Yoshi go!"
"Why would I do that?" asked Latios.
"Sableye Will~o~wisp!" shouted Cell.
Latios suddenly let go of me and I could feel a warm flame skin my arm.
I fell to the ground on all fours, pain ran up my arm and legs.
I stood up and looked around, but before I could avoid getting caught again, Latios picked me back up when suddenly Eevee shouted from behind me," He likes Latias!"
"Huh?" asked Latios staring at me. His aura went straight to confusion. "Is that true?"
"No well, you see. It's not like that." I started to say, trying to gather my words.
"You're lying…" said Latios his aura still confused.
"Well you see. Can you just put me down first. Alright? Then if we can somehow talk." I said quieting down to a whisper. He put me on my feet, and let me go, I in turn fell back and sighed. My heart was beating fast and I hadn't even noticed. I felt my heart and said," Here's what happened…"
It took about an hour but I re-explained everything from start to beginning. In the end Latios showed his form.
"So…" said Latios. "I have the wrong person?"
"Yes," I said quietly.
"Wow!" said Sableye and Cell, both in surprise.
"And you're trying to get my sister back?" asked Latios.
I nodded.
"You get it?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"Wow! Look a Latios!" shouted someone unfamiliar from behind latios. It seemed a group of three children had appeared and noticed that there was a Latios floating here.
"Oh crud!" shouted Cell and Sableye.
"Hide, go up!" I said, flailing my hands upward.
"Why, I'll just vanquish these human children." Said Latios turning around to face where the sound came from. I could hear him start to breathe in deeply.
"Wow!" I shouted throwing myself towards Latios and knocking him to the ground in surprise.
"What are you doing?!" he asked angrily.
"Well kids!" said Cell taking over the situation with Sableye. "You see this Latios already belongs to this boy here…"
"Yeah he does." Said Sableye as if the children could understand him.
"So you know, as a government Ranger! Please step aside and please keep quiet about this!" said Cell affirmatively.
"See our passionate friendship!" I said with a fake smile.
"Get off me or I'll go back to killing you!" said Latios.
"Seems like they're bad people!" said one of the three children.
"Yeah!" shouted the second child.
"We should get rid of bad people!" shouted the third child.
"Yeah!" shouted the second.
"I'm going to exterminate you and those children." Groaned Latios beneath me.
"Move! Run for it!" I shouted getting off of him.
I could feel latios lift up towards the sky.
"Well run wouldn't be the right definition," I said getting to my feet.
"Bad people!" shouted the children.
"It seems my cover has been blown. I'll bite your heads off!" I shouted showing my teeth and removing my goggles.
Sableye ran to my side and growled
"Ahh his eyes!" shouted one of the kids.
"Monster!" shouted one of the kids.
"Yeah!" said one of the kids. They all ran off together.
As they left I closed my lips and asked Cell. "Was I that frightening?"
"Well you see." Said Cell.
"I can't ." I said.
"Well, your eyes. They've gotten worse, looking. There are these veins around them and your pupils are clear with these black shard." Said Cell.
"Right my eyes, I've completely forgot." I muttered putting my fingers up to the rim of my eyelids. I could feel some small veins there. "I didn't know the poison could do that to them. I know they made my pupils go transparent, but the veins are definitely something that feels like it belongs in some Halloween movie."
"Or a certain anime." Said Cell. "But that's not the point. You should be careful where you take off your glasses. The Wizards may have purposely made that part of the poison to add a physical description just in case you escape or something. Like now."
I sighed and said," I don't look all that good do I?"
"Hey, don't take it personal!" said Cell putting an arm around my shoulder.
Noticing that I was making him worry I cranked up a smile and said," I'm looking at the brightside here. Maybe Scyther won't hug me as often."
"That's always a plus," said Cell.
Eevee nudged my ankle with her head saying," So you do like her."
"Oh my goodness Eevee!" I said out loud.
"What?" asked Cell.
"Nothing!" I said frustrated.
"What's up, did she say something embarrassing?" asked Cell chuckling.
"What why?" I asked.
"You're bright red," said Cell.
And so I noticed my cheeks were burning. My whole face was on fire.
"Eevee, don't never! Ever! Say that, and stop asking!" I said flustered.
"You're turning red," teased Eevee.
"Wow is something wrong?" asked Latios coming down from the sky like a rope from the top of a ditch. I couldn't be more thankful.
"Thank you! Anyway, let's go to town!" I said. "If you don't mind can you resume some kind of human form?"
"Sure." Said Latios. "When do we go find my sister?"
I blinked I hadn't thought of that.
"When do we go find his sister?" I asked, realizing that this quest was pretty much for me, and not about retrieving her.
"Well umm… I have no idea." Said Cell. "I don't even know where to start looking. Our operatives are on the job but they're getting nothing. The only thing that looks suspicious is the giant factory in Mode town."
"Mode town?" I asked.
"The City you crossed with all the pollution." Said Cell. "They say it's getting worse over there."
"What!?" I asked in shock.
"So when do we go?" asked Latios, in my head.
"When do we get there?" I asked.
"That place is the most densely packed Wizard area. It's a wonder that you weren't caught in the first place." Said Cell. "But we have to go there anyway for the 4th gym badge."
"So…" I said.
"Soon." Said Cell.
I looked at Latios. "You heard him. I suggest staying with us for now. The team I mentioned that caught your sister is probably looking for you too. Stay with us, you would be safer so long as you can maintain the disguise."
"But when are we going to rescue my sister." Said Latios.
"I don't know." I said honestly.
Latios sighed, and I saw sorrow in his aura.
"Is there anything we can do?" I asked.
"There's nothing we can do. It's not like we have an army in each of our pockets." Said Cell.
"Yeah…" I agreed, trying to formulate a plan.
"If we go in and you get caught the world's screwed!" said Cell.
"Yeah…" I said.
"And! If you try to do anything the Wizards will have you down in three seconds, ten seconds tops." Said Cell.
But why do I feel that I must do something, still? Why do I feel like I'll go against any odds, even if it was illogical. I looked at Latios' aura. I guess I simply feel like getting the family fixed. I was part of the reason why it was broke.
"But I'm responsible at the end of the day," I muttered.
"But even if it's your fault, you can't do anything." Said Cell.
I looked at Latios without saying a word his aura answered, he understood the situation.
"I'm sorry," I said to Latios.
"What are you talking about?" said Latios. "You explained your situation and it's-"
"I know. But I can't help but feel it's all my fault. I'm sorry." I said rubbing my temples.
"Hey it's alright." Said Latios.
"I'm sorry." I said again, my eyes burning. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry…"
"Look calm down." said Latios. "Even I can't do anything at the moment."
I bowed to him and said," I sincerely apologize. If I had done something better. If I had thought ahead. If-If I hadn't trusted Aria."
"Hey calm it!" said Latios irritatingly. "We're stuck in this stupid situation. We've all been robbed by the same people! Your eyesight was robbed! My sister was robbed! And you!"
He was most likely referring to Cell. Hot tears started to roll down my cheeks.
"I don't know what you were robbed of but we're all in the same boat, whether you like it or not. So toughen up and let's get everything back together! Look I hate humans on an everyday basis, but the enemies of my enemy is a friend, at the moment! Just shut up and think, we can think of something."
"You alright?" asked Cell patting my back. "We have no way to tell the future, who knows maybe tomorrow there'll be an opportunity in store for us. So for now just take a step forward, even if it's a blind one, no pun intended, and let's see where this blindly picked road will take us."
He patted my back again and said," For now let's get a room for each of us to stay. And you Latios get a human form."
"Take a deep breath," said Eevee. "Just calm down."
I took a deep breath as she said, and we went on our way.
We decided that it was late, and we all had our fill of stuff to deal with for the day. So instead we went to a hotel and rented a few rooms.
{Setsunad Damius: *Comes out of nowhere and kicks Latios into book*. There that solves that. I wish I could cameo more characters though XD. I mean I have another story planned out for the brothers in Konoha's story.
Man I really need to work on less stuff at a time. I have no clue what cities exist in this book anymore XD. And after Summer vacation started everything has went to my abyssal room and has gotten lost. {I worked so hard on that map too…} (Seriously there's no light in that room! I have TWO, not one, but TWO covers for my window. The normal one, and then a blue blanket over it XD, and I still manage to wake up at 7:30 A.M or 6:30 A.M, what the heck am I?)
Well anyway, I'm going to keep working for a while on this story. Who knows I might just go straight through with this and drill till I reach the end.

Now I see where I went wrong! Sheesh I'm an idiot sometimes, I named Miltank Flats already! It was going to be Sakura city. Sheesh my Fanfiction is confusing at times. I really have to re-write certain things.
